I had some old speakers from a bar. They needed to be reconed. For about the same cost as a reconing kit, I purchased two Celestion Pulse speakers. Unlike the bar speakers, these are intended for bass guitar. I put together a Baltic Birch speaker box and mounted them. So far they work. Little undue resonance. Good heavy magnets on these speakers.Daniel

Reviews:
So far I'm impressed with the sound and weight reduction over the Bugera 10" they replaced. If they can stand up to 450 watts for the foreseeable future, I'll add the fifth star. My only reservation was the price but if they are a rugged as I hope they are, they'll be the right investment. Total weight savings for 2 10"- 10 pounds.JAMES
These are great speakers and PE got them tome pronto.. They sound great and are lightweight, makes moving my rig around super easy!angus
Went three stars on the features because its a driver only. Five string bass running through 1×10 combo from Line6. This driver much better than factory installed. Everything below B1 was total mud before. This Celestion has all the definition i want. Can play C#1 fifths and no distortion or mud just rich low end. Wonder what four in a 4×10 would sound like? Probably cause a tidal wave. Maybe price should be $120? With free shipping I don't care.Guest

I have a Rumble 1 x 15 cabinet. I wanted to upgrade from the Eminence-Made for Fender speaker. At the advise of an Eminence Tech I purchased the CB158. It sounds great! Clear deep tones I plan on buying a second Rumble 1 x 15 cabinet and I'll upgrade that one also! The sale price made it a great value!Chuck
You can experience quite a bit of satisfaction when a product you paid a fair amount of money for just plain works. And boy does this speaker work. The solid bass tones that come out of this baby has brought my 80s something Fender Bassman Compact back to life. I was happy all the bolt holes lined up with the pre drilled holes of the amp. The only little drawback is that it has made my amp heavier. Not a bad trade off for the quality sound that this speaker delivers.Darren
I refurbished an Ampeg 115hp bass cabinet and installed a CB158 15". The speaker provides tremendous frequency response, tight solid bottom end with crisp clean highs. I no longer use the horn in the cabinet…there is no need. I highly recommend this speaker to get the most out of a bass rig. It also pairs very well with my Ampeg PF210HE.Francis L

I installed it, and was pretty blown away by the clarity of sound. The weight difference in the cab is quite noticeable. Definitely would recommend this product. Also excellent service. Thank you.Antelmo
I spent DAYS reading all of the specs on the various Eminence NEO speakers, and then I saw the specs on these, and they were CLOSER to what I wanted. I put two of them in a 2-12 cabinet with a Blonde Bassman Clone, and they are EXACTLY what I want. I can use them for bass, and I can use them with my heavy string Tele and Gretsch guitars. they really sound great. And the cabinet is SO LIGHT. I am going to be replacing several of my very heavy EVM's in the future with these. NO, they are not an EVM or a JBL, but they are more than ten pounds lighter each.lehm4206
This speaker rocks. I have it in a small home made cab, 14×10, paired with a10” Basslite in another small cab, and they sound great. Power is an Aguilar Tone Hammer 350. Playing Motown covers in a lot of venues. Everyone loves the sound of my setupChuckLotus

This is a replacement for a bass combo amplifier and it sounds better than the original. I was going to swap this out when the original came back from reconing, but will keep it as is and use the original in an extension cabinet.Pushes the low notes without overtones and cuts through the room. Very reasonable price for the quality.Sal
Arrived quickly and packaged well. Easy install and performs just what I need. I'll probably order another!JT
This is literally a guitar speaker that can handle bass frequencies. As a bass speaker it will start distorting at higher volumes. That being said, this driver sounds amazing as a guitar driver, and should be marketed as such.Joel

I've been through many, many 12s for Blackface style speakers. These are my faves. For good 60s tones in country and rock with a BF amp these guys work great. Take pedals well. Not shrill or muddy in my experience. Solid surfy bass. Smooth treble. 120 watts which is triple what I would ever throw at em. For a Deluxe or a Pro in a honkytonk bar, these are just the ticket.edol9871
For me the tones of these are somewhere in between American and British. I use these mainly in a 2×10 cab for a fender vibroverb style amp. Vs the Oxford speakers these have a lil more mid focus and rounded highs that work much better with higher gain tones. I also use these with my Marshall origin 50 set relatively clean to get a slightly bigger bottom end than V30s.RockinJohnson
I bought this speaker in the 16ohm version to replace a v30 in my orange ppc1x12. I love the v30 but I mainly use a 100w Marshall DSL100HR and the v30 by itself couldn't handle all that wattage since it's only 60watts. So I decided to go with the swamp thang cause a little more defined low end sounded like a good idea as I play a 7 string ltd (fishman fluence pups) half the time. But I was worried I would loose the highs that we need for attack in high gain situations as well as playing clean which I do very often also. But now that I've played tgrough this speaker I can say that is not a problem whatsoever. This speaker has twice the highs and twice the lows as my v30. Probably a little less midrange but since it's such a powerful speaker it doesn't feel like it's relying on mids the cut through. Full disclosure I've only had the speaker a few hours and played through it a little over an hour but if it sounds this good outta the box I'm confident things will only get better. It's a great sounding speaker in my opinion that would complement any style/set up. I plan on buying an empty Luke 2x12C cab from seismic audio soon so i can pair the ST and the v30 which im lookong forward to. But in the meantime im in no huge hurry since the ST sounds so good by itself.Michael I.

Reviews:
We replaced the stock speaker in a Fender 40 Champ with this. Everybody in the store was astounded and took turns playing through that amp after this upgrade. The local Jazz guru played chord-melody arrangements and told us that from his "old-school" perspective, this was one of the best sounding speakers for Jazz he'd ever heard. (he's over 60 and has played every kind of music through every kind of amp.)We all noticed how it brings out the notes of complex chords with definition and clarity. Then the younger shredders got hold of it. Even when pushed into ridiculous distortion we heard a good balance between tight-clear lows and defined yet sweet highs. There is plenty of high-end for clarity, but it never seemed harsh. All that from an OPEN BACK solid-state amp!The customer, who plays a wide variety of material in several cover bands, was delighted. He uses a Roland GT100 preamp before the amp and demonstrated a huge variety of classic hit tones he uses with his bands. Because he has TWO of these Fender 40 champ amps (for stereo) it was easy to A-B the two amps, which were identical except for the speakers. This speaker is noticeably LOUDER than stock, which can be good or bad depending on your needs. We spent a good hour (or more) listening to a wide variety of classic guitar tones through his system and everyone noticed the improved clarity, definition, articulation. He demonstrated blues tunes by Clapton and SRV, many famous rock licks by Jimmy Page and Hendrix, and floored us with a mess of chickin'-pickin' ala Brent Mason. It's hard to find meaningful adjectives since so many advertisers overwork terms like "warm" or "punchy." So I can only describe the sounds we heard with words that describe the difference between this and the stock speaker.Overall, it was a successful upgrade… easy and fast, made a noticeable improvement. Well-balanced, more clarity and VOLUME. The speaker really works well for a variety of styles without ever sounding "honky" or "muddy."Teacher of beauty
I used this speaker as a replacement for the Jensen stock speaker in a '64 Fender Custom Deluxe Reverb amp ..seems like a better made speaker, made by Eminence, designed by Allesandro. a U.S. made speaker with a bit more headroom and bottom end..the only downside all the bolt holes didn't line up..it's still in there though ..drwest845
Great sounding speaker right out the box. Full but controlled bass. Not lacking mid range, but still highlights the vintage character of a Fender. Sparkly high end, but no ice pick. Has the very natural attack of an Alnico, not stiff at all, but in a more affordable ceramic speakerJames Low

Reviews:
I play gigs every week, and use Crate 120 watt GFX-212, I play a seven string guitar and the bottom end has always been muddy. The speakers broke up and I contacted Eminence to see if I should use the Texas heat or the swamp thang. The said these were great speakers but for the seven string they recommended this speaker. I took there suggestion and am extremely pleased. I can turn the bass all the way up and the low B string rings clear, the highs are clear was well. Overdrive screams like it should. The clean setting is so clear I can not believe it. The one thing I was not prepared for about the speakers is they are about twice as loud as my old ones. They are however thee times the weight of my old speakers, but well worth the extra weight of my cabnets. I would highly recommend these speakers to anyone. These have a seven year warranty from the manufacturer as well. The Boz
Smooth like Santana!!!! This is flat the way it should be!!!!
Had a Superchamp X2 and decided to pick up a Superchamp mini stack to use for jamming with friends. Like the range of sounds and moderate volume of the amp, but felt like the shrill Celestion in the 1×12 cabinet could be improved on. I never used the EV 12 but wanted to see if this take on that speaker could round out the sound. This guy is heavy… reminded of lugging around the old JBLs. I added fiberglass to the cabinet and mounted the big guy. Even with minimal breakin, this thing sounds great. Big tight bottom, clear as a bell mids and highs with no ice pick. And so efficient it makes the little Superchamp louder. This speaker sounds like it puts out the best your amp can give it without breaking a sweat. I'd recommend it for any amp but especially modeling amps. Very musical… great speaker for the moneyOld Guy playing at home

Reviews:
Excellent mid-bass. I built a pair of ported high/mid cabinets, each using two of these and a high quality tweeter. Wired them up with Zobel and crossover networks. Very efficient with good power handling. Good transient response and clarity. Vocals, guiter, keyboard-piano, and things in that range really come through. Better clarity than typical high/mid cab with 12 or 15 inch woofer. Not much low bass, but not what they are designed for. Use with bottoms. Would buy again.Mike - 10766
Great speakers and the BEST folks to deal with. Thanks again for the impeccable service!! I will recommend you guys to everyone.Doug

Reviews:
I use these in speaker cabinets I design and build, mainly for 6- and 7-string guitar. This is the best-performing and best-sounding speaker I have found in this category (2×8" compact cabinet): high power rating, light, and a neutral sound. Unfortunately, few musicians take 8" speakers as serious contenders and usually want cheap 4×12" cabs. The only issues I have found with them is that they are not really suitable for bass guitar and FaitalPro lacks a Canadian distributor.John
I decided to build a large set of 3-way PA speakers, after considering one 12" mid I decided on two of these 8" FaitalPro mids. I like their price, their efficiency and smooth response. After listening to these for a week they are incredible, mids are warm and detailed, extremely efficient and very dynamic. The cones are so light on these that they can response extremely quicly in transients. Midrange is extremely detailed, subtle sounds and nuances in songs I've heard thousands of times simply come to life. Really tough to beat for the money, don't have a lot of bass below 80hz in a sealed enclosure and xmax is limited so best used with a subwoofer. Highly recommended especially for the money.JAVAD
Very nice quality, nice punchy bass, very well made, Im currently using it for a Bluetooth speaker system with 100 watts of power and this speaker performs very good, Ive made a good purchase with this one. Recommended to everybodyelectronicstop

Reviews:
Many may disagree, but this driver is completely unable to reproduce bass accurately because of its weak motor (small magnet). Heck, 25oz is too small for an 8" driver! Its 'rolling' sound might satisfy Bob Carver, but it has no punch. It has lots of output and smooth midbass in an open baffle, but you pay dearly for it with a slow, muddy sound. How anyone who calls themself an audiophile can be satisfied with it is beyond me.dipoleprechaun - 24841
Very good wufer for resonable price. I installed it in 2-way open buffle. The bass is pretty much enough. The only problem is 10 Db 2000 Hz pick. Can be corrected by 1-order lowpass filter or bandpass RLC corrector.
I bought this as a replacement speaker for a Peavey bass amp. Could not be happier! Sounds great!dj_us_ucjeve

The speaker is massive, sounded much better than the OEM but did not resolve the problem with my amp (thought it was blown speaker but apparently just bad design) so I returned it. PS – the Theile parameters are available on request, ought to include them in the listing.David S.

The Delta 15's are part of a two way system w/Altec 415B horns. Female jazz vocals sound sweet and clear! Great bang for the buck….Ted
I put this into a 1×15 cab powered by a Carvin head and it just RUMBLES. Eminence quality and sound. Good buy.Spookytoof
I load too many speakers. I believe in Eminence Delta series for several applications. I currently deploy Delta LFA for low frequency support, Delta Pro series for their range and power for PA support, and Delta A for monitors and smaller venue mains. They are reliably consistent and handle power and abusive cartage. Good useable range for any application.

Reviews:
I called Peavey, have been using their equipment for years, PA's , Basses, Bass amps and guitar amps and have always been satisfied. This is the worst sounding bass cabinet I have ever used. When I spoke to them, they said that I am the only one that has complained. i have a 4 x10" TXF cabinet which sounds great and wanted to get 2 sets of 2 x 10" for easier transport.I swapped speakers between the cabinets and the TXF cabinet sounded great with either set, the Headliner 210 sucked with either speaker. I did some internal measurements of the 210's and used speaker cabinet software and the 210's do not meet any specifications for a 2 x 10" speaker cabinet. bought them online and cost too much to return them. sold 1 set of them for a substantial loss and still can't get rid of the other one.Guy
Overall: I played a show recently that had an in house sound system. They had a headliner410 and a peavey tour750 amp. It sounded good but…. I had to go out to the trailer and grab my peavey 210cabinet with a built in tweeter. Im not impressed by cabinets that dont have a horn/tweeter, Im a funk r&b motown bassist. On some songs I have to slap or thump. Together the 2 of them sounded awesome……..Maverick
WOW is the only way to describe this cabinet. I purchased a "scratch & dent" product, let me tell you this cabinet was in almost perfect condition all but for a "REAL SMALL DENT" Played this cabinet for the first time "Live" three days after receiving it and …WOW…paired it with a 1×15 cab and a GK MB500 head and I literally shook the venue to where you could actually feel the vibrations on stage and the dance floor, thinking it was the 1×15 I disconnected it and to my surprise it was the Peavey 4×10 doiing the shaking , again WOW ! Some people in other reviews has giving negative comments for the "Carpet" to me no big deal because it is "A Lot" cheaper to recover the carpet then Tolex when that time comes, so not a big deal for me. I did install a set of removable Fender casters because this cabinet is heavy (75 lbs) and they make it real easy to move in and out of gigs… I also love the fact that I DOES NOT have a horn that suits our style of classic rock that we cover. YES I Highly recommend this cabinet over the more expensive brands, WHY pay three times the amount for the same results !!!!!Doug, bigdog2116

Reviews:
Does what it says on the tin. Installed this in a TL606 box as a replacement for a Kappa Pro 15A and just shedding the 10+ pounds was a bonus but these drivers can eat power for days, deliver tight booming lows and are very pleasing in the midrange as well. Likely the best 15” I’ve ever played through. Stomps the Black Widow, and definitely trounces some old square backs which were in Peavey gear. Weight reduction alone for most cabs merits a look but you can get tone for sure and if you wish to add a tweeter and a 6-8” for mids and install a crossover you’ll be supremely happy. Especially if you go with a Greenboy design. I did not and again just replaced driver in a TL606 so this was PERFECT based on WinISD modeling.Jason
I bought this to replace a Kappa Pro 15LF, which came in an Avatar bass guitar cabinet, and sounded terrible in it. I used WinISD to model the cabinet and figured the Kappalite 3015 would work well in it. Thankfully, the 3015 and the cab seem to be a great match. The speaker has great punch, tight lows, and full midrange. It has exceptionally flat response throughout its wide range. Plus, it's very efficient and extremely light weight (15 lbs. lighter than the Kappa Pro 15LF). I'm totally happy with it!Steve
Long story short the OEM drivers in the Behringer cabinets took a dump. I wanted to upgrade to a driver that would work in the Behringer cabinet with minimal crossover adjustments. The driver paired great with the crossover but I had to change the compression driver to match sensitivity of the new Kappa15LFA. The 15LFA was paired with a PRV D290PY-S. The existing Lpad lined back up with the driver changes. The combo improved the overall power handling, sq, and low end substantially. I modeled 20 different drivers for the Behringer cabinets and the Kappa 15LFA modeled the best. The driver cage matches the existing Behringer cage however the driver leads have to point to the side of the cabinet for the driver to fit. It will only fit 1 way without modifications. Overall I am very pleased with the driver and would not think twice about using it again.Abram

Rec'd from MF by free shipping in 2 days. Factory sealed packaging. Installed as a replacement in an SWR Son of Bertha 15" cabinet. Took less than 10 minutes, fit like a glove. This speaker is as close to the original SWR factory specs as I could find, except higher wattage and higher sensitivity rating. Driven with a GK MB800, EQ'd flat at 1/2 output it performed effortlessly. Round, rich and warm tone. Precise and articulate. Made my 8 year old cab brand new again.3rdBass
A friend and I have a high-wattage sound system located in his heated pole barn. We didn't spend a lot, but we like the results we're getting. We put the 4018LFs in two Peavey 118 boxes, to which we added some fiber-fill, but did no other mods. We drive them with a Behringer NU6000 at 4-Ohms, bridged mode. It's plenty of power. We're using the sub output from a Behringer Ultragraph Pro FBQ1502HD, crossed over at 100Hz. We play LPs, CDs, and SACDs. The 4018LFs sound great! I hope this helps you decide.Michael
I have a very old pair of Peavey TF115 loudspeakers driven by a Peavey 1.3K (400W per channel at 8 ohms) that I use both as a PA and stereo guitar amp. Not the greatest stuff, but it gets the job done and has done so daily since the 90's until I recently overdrove the horn and tore a nice gash in my woofer being careless with my tools. My first thought was to replace them, but I decided to rebuild one before dropping big bucks on new cabs. For starters, the magnet on this beast is twice the weight and size of the Peavey and my first reaction was — UH OH — I'm gonna need way more power! However to my suprise, I am pleased to say this thing rocks and really packs a thumping punch! Running the old versus the new side by is night and day. If you want a deep clean bottom end punch that is crisp and sharp, this will get the job done. The sound is very clear and the lows are extremely clean. There is no doubt that this woofer is handling the power with ease and can take much more abuse than her old twin sister. I have no other option but to rebuild the second unit now. Extremely pleased with he value of this purchase…Just make sure you have enough power to drive it or it may not budge!Hitman

Reviews:
While its appearance is different than the original 70's Deluxe Reverb Eminence made speaker, it sounds perfectly identical to the original.Stephanie
Overall: I put this speaker in an open back 1×12 cab made of birch. It is very loud and still holds a lot of bass for the open back design. I would buy this speaker over and over for the price and tone.Adam
I paired the legend 1275 with a eminence CV75 in a 2×12 custom cabinet. Use DV mark head And you get very nice cleans with decent break up at mid range volumesDavid W.
