Ps3 Rock Band 2 Guitar For Sale (2024 Update)

The game that really introduced me to the plastic-instrument gaming genre was Guitar Hero 3. I had loads of fun playing it back in the days, and it really got me interested in these types of games. The reason I'm saying this is because Guitar hero 3 falls short compared to Rock Band 2. It's simply THE best game in the genre, and it contains tons of great music (not including the purchaseable DLC). Graphics: The graphics for this game are as good as they should be – not too shabby, and not too pretty to keep your eyes away from the note chart. Framrates on some of the animations can tend to be a tiny bit low, and the game sometimes lags for a couple of seconds and then runs fine again, but that's just minor details. Gameplay: Guitar, drums, vocals; they're all so much fun. Wheter you have no experience at all, or are a complete expert at mostly everything you'll have to enjoy at least one of the instruments. I for one tend to play some guitar songs on hard, but mostly medium. Mostly hard, but some medium on drums. And either hard or expert on the vocals part. I DO consider myself casual when it comes to this game. Sound: The game sounds so pure, from every note to phrase, it truly sounds divine. Also the song selection is very good, there as my favourites being 'Master Exploder', 'Any way you want it', 'Living on a prayer', 'Everlong' and lots of other great, epic songs. Though some songs falls weak due to practically never heard of em' before, the amount of actual good songs covers for it. As I live in Norway and am not able to download DLC I really can't comment on any of it, though I have seen through it and there's plenty of good stuff. Instruments: Guitar's good, drums are fine, and the microphone works as intended, what more is there to say? Could add that I like the sound chooser on the guitar where you can choose between different sounds on solos and when you go into overdrive. Playability: This game will keep you glued to the TV screen for hours and hours, and as expected, it's a great party game, actually one of the best. I've been playing the same songs dozens of times and I'm still not tired (and I haven't even played every song on every kind of instrument). I bought this as a gift for my 14 and 10 year old sons and 11 and 7 year old daughters. They all love playing the instruments and singing. The song selection is great and the instruments are quieter than Guitar Hero. However, when this package was delivered, it was left on my front porch in a clear plastic bag in the rain. I thought leaving such an expensive package like that was ridiculous as everyone knew what it was and anyone could have taken it. Worse yet my son almost saw it which would have ruined the surprise. If you like music then you must buy this game! Playing drums, singing, strumming the guitar, or slapping the bass its all fun and exciting. Wonderful selection of music, which ranges from oldies to current day rock! I'm addicted to playing it ever since I bought it about three weeks ago. The drums are definitely my favorite part! Pounding out some solid beats will tapping the foot pedal makes you feel like your on an actual drum set. This is a great game and I hope you all enjoy playing it! Rock Band 2 has some great elements that have been a long time coming. However, the format for actually playing the music is the same as the old ones. In my opinion, just stick with what you have and download songs you actually want. There are some very cool pros, though: You can change difficulty, drop out, and even switch your options on the fly. When you pause the game, it "rewinds" the track a bit so you don't jump right back into it and mess up. You can already tell there is a load of new things to do and buy. You can rate songs now. The format of the game is different. You can go after goals, do the good old road tour, or do things in a myriad of different ways. This game rocks! just like the previous rock band but with more songs to play. Unlike the first rock band, rock band 2 enables you to battle other players online. it has lots of songs to play, not to mention that it has most of the songs that i like as well. this game gives you a much better gaming experience with better visual graphics and enhance sounds. Apart from that,the introduction of "no-fail mode" enables you to carry on playing the instruments without ever worrying of failing that particular song you play. thus, i would personally rate rock band 2 a 5 out of 5.aizat216

The obvious evolution to first Rock Band, this game brings together the most likely best tracklist of all its genre. The audio quality is surely superior than its competitor and game modes are satisfying in variety. And about downloadable content, this game estabilishes a benchmark for industry and probably will never be reached. Unfortunately, the charts for instruments is not as close and precise than its main competitor, and it's a lack extended to all RB spin-offs. And the character edit mode is very poor. I enjoy it! The music is great! The songs are challenging! The interaction is interesting! The only flaw I find is the guitar needing batteries, and not being rechargeable, or able to play with usb cord! Guitar Hero rocks, so anything to do with it gets points. After being entertained by Legends of Rock for months I was excited to get the Aerosmith addition, after all they are an ok band and have some good songs. I began play the moment the game was delivered and easily stepped through song after song. I was disappointed in the difficulty as it presented little challenge. I was disappointed in the song selection. I thought I liked Aerosmith better than I did after completing the game. I kind of liked the cover band selections better than the Aerosmith songs. If you like guitar hero then you will enjoy this game. Gameplay is the same as the other previous GH games. The game had some good videos about the history of the band and the game looked great and ran smooth on the PS3 console. The downfall is there aren't that many songs to play and not that many bonus tracks. I expected to play more Aerosmith hit songs but was sadly disappointed as I worked my way through the game. For the price it was a good bargain and I am satisfied with my purchase.lchiu003
