1. Fender Stratocaster Mid Boost Kit
Product Details:
The name fender is synonymous with quality of the highest degree, so to upkeep these fine instruments requires only the best parts. official fender parts are specially designed to keep your fender instrument playing as well as the first time you picked it up. those looking for a mid-boost to their stratocaster need to look no further. this kit includes a primary pcb board, tbx tone potentiometer, volume and tone potentiometers, an output jack, capacitor and 1/4-watt resistor, mounting hardware, wiring diagram and a set of setup instructions. pickups and pickup selector switch are not included.
Specifications:
Reviews:
The included instructions in B&W aren't very useful but you can find the colored diagram via a Google search. If you have a normal Strat body you can still install this without any modification to the body: – the mid-boost circuit will fit at the bottom of the control cavity provided you clip couple of its corners. However you however no longer have clearance for the TBX tone pot, so you can either replace it by a normal 250K pot (or a no-load Fender pot) which is what Clapton himself uses, or you switch the positions of the TBX tone control vs mid-boost pot control. – the battery is trickier. You can, with proper insulation, fit it in-between the 5-way switch and volume pot. That's a very tight fit though, especially with the board already in the cavity, but it's also very inconvenient to replace the battery. Some have replaced their tremolo block for a much thinner one in order to fit the battery, or removed a few springs to fit it in there; either way the tremolo become unusable. However Fishman makes a 9V battery pack tremolo cover that is perfect for this midboost circuit (and any other active electronics), it's not cheap but it's a direct retrofit for the standard tremolo cover, provides days of playtime, and quickly recharges via USB.customized-guitars
I hear a lot of folks complimenting the sound, OK pre amps are pre amps and wiring mods are wiring mods, I just bought this as a kit not realizing it would be sorely lacking in basic key features yet loaded with um, dummy features? first off the way this unit is activated is way beyond my comprehension, you turn it on by plugging in your guitar jack, yup thats the "on" switch, so we all know what that means, more miles on the switch and a lot of dead batteries as the ONLY way to turn it off is to unplug the guitar? I have seen some of the loaded pick guards with this kit and WOW, they actually want you to out the battery UNDER the pick guard? UNREAL how long till someone has to use the bathroom and sets the guitar down, gets side tracked and the battery is DRAINED? you might think ah thats OK it sounds good in passive mode and I have pedals to so no biggie right? WRONG they DO NOT have a passive mode feature, thats right you read this right, a very simple radio shack switch, 12" of wire and 2" of solder and like 10 more minutes worth of labor to wire in a passive mode bypass switch, and hey guess what? while were already MODDING the MOD we may as well do a 2 bird one stone thing and when you SWITCH the guitar into passive mode you SHUT THE BATTERY power OFF, novel idea right? that way the REAL way to shut down the preamp is to simply FLIP it into passive mode!!! I know kind of a 60's thing but hey when your battery is under the pick guard you may want to have that ability to shut her down without having to add more wear and tear on your input and cables.. I'm considering going 90's with mine and adding a timeout mod, if there is no activity in a preset (user definable) amount of time it shuts itself off, and to reset it very easily you just roll the guitar sideways strings up or down and the small tiny mercury switch turns it back on for you, I know thats sort of a 2000's thing but hey it is 2015 rolling up onto 2016… lolEx; Jim the Runner
I put this into a pedal enclosure rather than my strat. It is very good and robust for what it is. Having said that it is just a boost. If you are looking for the Clapton mid boost then this is great. However there are other ways to achieve the same results. I think in a Strat it would be superb driving an old Fender tube amp. In a pedal, it is fun to try and not expensive.scarleftpimpler

This is the most Fenderest Stratocastery Black Backplate in the entire universe! It doesn't fit my ESP Vintage Series Strat though. I got my Strat used and the holes didn't line up. Reviews:
Tuners are solid and work — not locking type, but stays in tune. Installation takes either a neck with the two little guide-holes all ready to go, or else some skill with a small drill bit. Put it into place and tighten down enough to leave two faint dents on the headstock, then remove and drill. Tape a stop guide so you don't drill too far through the neck, just deep enough for the wee pegs.zippinski
The only downside to these tuners is that they require two holes to be drilled in the back of the headstock alongside the 10mm hole to locate two pins extending from each tuner that prevent it twisting around under string tension. If your headstock is pre-drilled, no problem, but if it isn't you will have to do this yourself. I used a Dremel with a dentists' drill and a steady hand. Other than this they look great, very tidy and most importantly work well. They hold tune perfectly. Recommended.johthoma270
These are the tuners that came stock on my E4 Fender American Standard. They have a smooth feel, and stay in tune well. The tuners have worked reliably since I bought the guitar in 1985. I also have several other guitars with these tuners, and they all function perfectly. I think that the tuners improve the sound by making sure that the strings stay in tune. Also, these tuners make good contact with the neck, and don't vibrate like some marginally acceptable Chinese tuners, found on some Squiers (and other budget guitars), thereby better transferring vibration to and from the neck and strings. Just my two cents.Bill
6. Fender Original '57/'62 Strat Pickups
Product Details:
This was the pickup that were made to fit the original usa 57 and 62 reissue stratocasters. fender no longer makes this type of pickup. if you have a mid 80's to mid 90's usa reissue these were the pickups used. these are the black bottom and not the earlier red bottom ones. these were also sold as separate item back in the day-in this packaging-this one is unused and read a little over 6 k on the reader. if you need to replace a dead pickup in your vintage reissue this is you ticket. note the purple colored windings as compared to the new ones. i have one more new one with same reading that i may be listing as well. so if you need 2 let me know.

Reviews:
I've played a lot of different Strats over the years and while they all had "that Strat sound" to varying degrees, the Fat '50s achieve seem to be the most authentic. By adding a treble bleed and turning down the volume a bit, I can get those classic chimey tones from the 50s and with the volume all the way up, I can get the bigger sounds from the 60s. The cleans are sparkling, but they sound great running through higher gain amps as well. Compared to pickups like the Texas Specials, these are not harsh to my ears, even in the bridge position. If you're looking for the solid Start sound, you can't go wrong with these,BOCTOK
The Fender Mexican made 2017 Stratocaster is a nice guitar and as a standard out of the box guitar is good. One easy way to upgrade the sound is by installing the Fender Custom Shop Fat 50's pickup set. I measured the ones on a custom shop 59 before purchase to be sure of string alignment. I purchased a set and fitted them in about half an hour, fortunately my Mex ST had an Oak type 5 way and full size pots so no more upgrade work needed there. I did change the pot knobs and switch knob to white to match the new pickup covers. I installed a new set of strings, the pickups were test adjusted and sound great, a nice full sound, the front one is very rounded and clear, the middle is a classic sound and the back nice and strong. I was after a Shadows style of sound and these pickups did not disappoint. They give a clear sound and the right sound if you are looking for pure vintage tone.matt66red
I waited 5 months to write this review, I'll try to be unbiased. I replaced the stock ceramic pickups from a Fender Standard MIM. It's my first change of pickups ever, and the first time I play a guitar that sounds so classic, so I can not tell about the difference with a higher end model of Strat or a vintage one, but here goes my opinion: This pickups totally rock, well they don't only do rock, they play everything you want to hear from a instrument called "guitar", that means, 6 strings thru a wood body, they deliver the classic and just necessary electric guitar experience. No gimmicks, just the real thing, classic clean sound, lots of harmonics, dynamic sound, and driven sound wonderful, because they can be strong too, classic surf rock sound here. Took me a couple of days to adjust the proper height, the Alnico V magnets are strong so you have to be delicate to find the right spot for the three PUs, but once you are there, they are marvellous. The three pickups are pretty much the same, states the box, but the three positions are there, and the case with the medium pickup is a great surprise, it sounds very nice, very "middy" usable position, sounds as a custom medium pickup. By all means, you don't need no more that a old school Stratocaster guitar, as Leo designed, to be happy. Cheers. Rock on, blues on, jazz on, jangly on, surf''s up!Oscar the mendigo.

I came into possession of a Fender Partscaster for which I paid $200. I didnt know what parts were OEM or from what models they came. I just knew the sky blue burst was gorgeous and I had to have it. As it turned out, the body was from Fenders American Elite line making the price an absolute steal. Long story short all of the other parts needed to be swapped out. Once the neck was swapped the truss rod adjuster on the heel wouldnt fit with the non-Elite pickguard. The pickguard was a proper mint green but wrong model. I dremeled the notch out so I could temporarily use it. I finally invested in the proper pickguard a couple of years later and I cant be happier with the quality. Quite glad I didnt buy a cheap Chinese knockoff like I had thought of doing. All thats left is to swap out the Fender vintage bridge with the Elite/Deluxe model. And lastly swap out the cheap Tex-Mex pickups for some 60s era handwound models. Theyll be the only non-Elite part since I wont be getting the appropriate Noiseless Gen 4 type.rangerjack
Was looking for this pick guard for a few months, so I was very happy to locate one from such a reputable dealer. I knew it would arrive quickly (despite the Covid-19 lockdown) with no hassle. Also, it was the best price I could find. It looks great on my 2-Tone Sunburst Eric Johnson Thinline Stratocaster. It's made the guitar sound louder and more balanced between the fives positions (tamed the high-end a bit). It seems to have enhanced the harmonic qualities of the pickups, and it looks so amazing. Very happy!

Reviews:
The tone of the guitar came alive. I put the pickguard in my 1998 Mim Strat. It sounded ok but I loved the neck so I kept it. This guitar is exactly how I wanted my guitar to be. The bass, the mids, super sweet bridge pickup. Choose what you like but you can't go wrong with this setup.Eric
Do not order this for an older American Made Fender Strats. This stock routing depth on 20 year old Strats is only 20mm, the screws for the pickups protrude deeper than 22mm, this is a no go. I made mine fit by cutting the s.coil pickup screws 2mm, and then fixing the threads. Also, the volume POT is doubled, and if you try to force this you will smash the small PCB that I'm assuming is a tone bleed circuit into the POT, and will ground it. This will make it so the volume POT doesn't work. The guitar is always 100 percent on. I got around this by placing heat shrink over the 2 small printed circuit board on the back side of the volume pot. Short version don't bother ordering this for older Strats, MEASURE THE DEPTH OF YOUR PICKUP CAVITY BEFORE BUYING THIS. Both my 1996 and 2002 American made Strats were too shallow for this loaded pickguard.S.
Sigler music and their line of 920D products are, in my opinion the best stuff on the market, period. Their electronics are top end quality, their wiring is better than factory and their packaging is more complete than factory equipment. I appreciate their attention to detail, the instructions that accompany their loaded pick guards and the way their jacks are wired and wound with enough wire to easily accompany the body style their made for. They blow the competition away and theyre typically priced well below name brand items of the same or lesser quality. Why buy a custom shop loaded pickgaurd for hundreds more when you can have better quality for half the price with a 920D product. I use 920D loaded pick guards with TX specials on all my custom builds.drumerboy

These knobs are a subtle upgrade to your Strat – a slight soft feel to the knobs. They normally come standard only on the Elite or Ultra level Strat; I get a kick out of installing them on my down-level Strats that use this color. The color matches the standard Aged White and they install by simply pushing them onto the pot shaft. Be careful not to scratch your pickguard when removing the old knobs – watch a YouTube video to see how. Note to Fender: make these knobs in additional colors!Brian

Reviews:
I first discovered these when purchasing a Fender American Deluxe Strat. Fender only puts them on the American Deluxe Strats and Teles, so far as I know. Since then, I have purchased these and put them on three other of My Fender Teles and Strats. These are a perfect way to upgrade, if your Fender neck has the two-pin guide holes, like most of their modern necks (vintage style excluded). These really are the smoothest Fender machine heads/tuners I've ever found. The lower priced two pin tuners as used on the Player series just aren't as smooth and it seems like the gear ratio is different, too. maybe lower than the Player machine heads, like 18:1. Yes..more expensive, but even without the locking device, well worth it, IMO. The pic is a Tele I recently built with V-Mod pups and 12' radius fret board. I just installed the tuners the other day. The guitar deserved these and I love 'em!songs60s
Have had these new Fender locking tuners on my Stratocaster for a few weeks now, and I must say that I really like them! I think one of the big benefits of locking tuners on a Fender with a whammy bar is that there are no wraps of the string on the tuning pegs, the wraps dont always go back the same way after returning from a dive. Also the new tuners seem to have a little more weight to them than the original tuners. The added weight and mass seem to make the tone of the guitar a little more solid with possibly a bit more sustain. I definitely noticed a big improvement with tuning stability after the first time of doing some dives on the guitar. The feel of the tuners while actually tuning the guitar is very nice too, very smooth and precise. I would not hesitate to buy these tuners again to put on my other Fenders.stratm_88
I bought these for my American Performer Strat. I had no issues with tuning. The vintage tuners that came with it stayed in tune just fine. Had problems with strings slipping while changing them and it was very frustrating. At first I was concerned because they came with no installation instructions and I am not good mechanically at all. Found instructions on how to install them onto the guitar and how to install strings by looking on the internet. So,so easy! All you need is a pair of pliers. Loosen the nut, remove the old tuner and put the new one on. If you are installing on a Fender Strat the holes line up with the two pegs on the locking tuner and they pop right in and you tighten the nut. That simple. To install the string you just pull the string through the peg as tight as you can by hand, tighten the bottom knob which locks the string and cut the string and tune. So, so simple and efficient. I have no problem installing new strings any more! Quick and easy. Everyone should have these. Well worth the money by far!Morningdew

I got these to replace the stock tuners on my Fender Modern Player Thinline Tele. The stock tuner's ratio was something like 7:1 and made the guitar difficult to tune (why do they even make these?) These replacement tuners are much easier to tune precisely because of the 14:1 ratio and they were a simple, no mod, replacement.MoFoYa

This should have been the standard bridge on the Thinline Cabronita Telecaster, since it matches up with the pickup pole spacings much better than what comes on the guitar. The three mounting holes aren't an exact match, but install the middle screw first and then go into the outside two holes at a slight angle and it will work fine. Also keeps the two E strings farther in from the edges of the fretboard.duhvoodooman
Solid, well built. Just make sure you know this does not fit a vintage style 2 3/16 hardtail guitar. The string hole spacing on both the mounting screws and string holes are not the same. It can be made to work if you are ok with it not being perfect. Otherwise it is a great bridge. I prefer the vintage style stamped saddle hardtail bridges because they are 1/3 the cost.mathewsguitarworks

The parts worked just fine. I had gotten this one partscaster stratocaster JMP made in america bdy. didn't realize the claw & springs weren't fender till I went to adjust the claw to set up tremolo the 2 screws were real skinny and way too short. So I replaced them with the real deal original vintage Fender parts the only way to go. I had to drill the 2 holes bigger and deeper to allow for the correct screws but the the tremolo works real good now and is actually staying in tune better than my of my other strats that are all real strats pretty interesting. it is working great.. real good price and quick delivery as well..Mike
Switching from the 3 stiffer springs which came stock with my guitar, to 5 springs of the vintage type has added a little more of that "stratness" to the tone of this guitar as well as enhancing the sustain just a little bit. A very easy and inexpensive upgrade which is well worth it to me. Try it; you'll probably like it. Some people may not like to "hear the springs" on their instrument, but in my opinion, that sound is a part of what defines the strat character.benjaminrait
These springs work great as they are a genuine Fender product. My only objection was that the bridge end of the spring fit very tightly into my Fender Squire Standard two point tremolo bridge. I had to use a tool to get the end far enough into the bridge. Other than that (no point takin away) the springs did the job that they were designed to do.drums1961

Reviews:
The evergreen classic Kluson look (correct shape/size) with "FENDER" logo stamped in the single vertical line (instead of original "KLUSON DELUXE"). And "JAPAN" stamped in side of each case which means it's made in Japan… probably by Gotoh considering its extremely smooth, consistent functional quality. My new favorite.tousa1998
Great Quality Tuners! These have the word "JAPAN" stamped in the inside of the tuner box which makes me believe that are the same as Gotoh SD91 though you are paying a little extra for the "FENDER" tiny logo. I checked the gear ratio in it gives exactly 15:1 I have no complaints whatsoever.applesandoranges67
I bought a Squier Bullet Stratocaster HSS with Tremolo Limited Edition Electric Guitar Black Metallic. The tuning keys on these are not stable at all. I modified those stock tuners with these Fender vintage tuners. The spacing is perfect, although I did have to drill 11/32 into the existing hole so that the new tuners would fit. The only thing(and it's cosmetic), is that the previous tuners left holes on back of headstock. The new tuners did not cover up the existing holes. But as I said before, merely cosmetic.. man, this instrument plays beautifully and stays in tune!Guitarjon

Specifications:
Reviews:
The bridge has a solid feeling heavy block and nice looking bent steel traditional saddles. Be aware that bent steel saddles do have the potential to develop a buzz from time to time, particularly on the high string. Smoothing the top of the saddle with some very fine wet and dry will usually fix this. You might also like to source shorter grub screws or shorten them yourself by grinding down the bottom of the screws, as they poke up into your hand when palm muting.mattguitarroberts

Reviews:
"This" is the block you use to replace the block you've either stripped the threading where the tremelo bar will no longer attach – or – snapped the bar with the threading unreachable and now are faced with "what's next…?" My advice would be to go ahead and buy "2 " , if you continue to play a vintage trem, it will happen again, either accept "it is what it is" , upgrade or decide to play a Les Paul. Other than that, yeah it's great it works…. for a while..Russsell

Reviews:
These knobs are a subtle upgrade to your Strat – a slight soft feel to the knobs. They normally come standard only on the Elite or Ultra level Strat; I get a kick out of installing them on my down-level Strats that use this color. The color matches the standard Aged White and they install by simply pushing them onto the pot shaft. Be careful not to scratch your pickguard when removing the old knobs – watch a YouTube video to see how. Note to Fender: make these knobs in additional colors!Brian

Reviews:
These Genuine Fender Dome Knobs have a great solid feel, and look great too. They're a nice weight also. I actually bought them as replacement knobs for a newer G&L LB100 "P" bass. The knobs on there didn't feel as solid, weren't domed and the diamond cut pattern didn't have as smooth a finish. These are a real improvement.jag67jaguar
I have to say, I don't normally write reviews for product – but this little item changed my mind. I bought one to finish up a parts-o-caster home build, where it was matched with a different knob type. After mounting this one on the guitar, I immediately pulled off the other type and ordered another one of these domed nickel knobs. They are, simply put, the best Tele style knob I have ever used!jagoldtop
ORIGINAL fender parts are always the best way to go whether your replacing old ones or building your own new monster. You can feel it in your hands when you hold them. I buy all my parts from Guitar Audio. They are a fantastic company. Well priced and quick to deliver. Real happy with the knobs. My second build with genuine Fender parts from Guitar Audio and I'll use them on all to come.candelljr123

Reviews:
Hier also der Richtige.
