Reviews:
Another great effects pedal from BOSS. The DD-7 is quite like a 'Swiss-Army-Knife' in the realm of compact delay pedals. Built with the standard of quality that BOSS is known for. The delay range is amazingly vast from 1ms to 6.4 seconds, plus a 40 second looper, as well as assorted delay types like modulation, analog and reverse. The pedal is quiet and is great for studio or stage. For a closer look check out the DD-7 manual online. Highly recommended!jupiterstrat
I haven't purchased a Boss delay for years. I did buy a DM-2 Waza to retire my vintage unit. I've just always been an analog delay guy. However, I bought the DD-8 on a whim because I needed a delay for a project that required some specific sounds. Namely a stereo reverse delay sound. I figured I'd give this one a try. This is a home run pedal. Every notch on the mode knob yielded usable and inspiring delays. The only part that I haven't used is the looper but if it works like the other modes, I'm sure it's excellent. No regrets here on this one. It might even knock a Strymon delay off of my main board.JV
Really delivers a lot for the price point. I wanted a delay to do nearly everything and do it well, and this does it. I'm more of a digi, tape & analog delay user, and I don't care much for the more "out there" options, but they are fun to mess with. I use this in mono 99% of the time, so my only gripe against the pedal doesn't really matter much at all. I wish it had a wider stereo field and wish it had a ping pong options in settings, but again, I use it in mono mostly, so no big deal. The DD-200 is super easy to dial in and presets work simply. I like that it has a dedicated Manual mode so I can just use it without worrying about presets. Awesome delay.KC

Reviews:
Best price in town on a great little piece of equipment. Honestly, it's amazing what tech is doing these days. This unit is fully staged worthy and has nearly everything anyone could want. There is a learning curve to the unit but it isn't too bad. It isn't perfect out of the box but can be tweaked to preference. Many of the presets are great and as good launch point for sounds you are looking for. As for delivery, my unit came very fast. I think i waited 4 days for my order (which was 5 days earlier than initially estimated).Jeffrey
The GP-200 is a very flexible multi-effects/modeler whose price may suggest something of lower quality, but it's actually a great-sounding and fun unit. I play acoustic and electric guitar with an Acoustasonic Telecaster, and the GP-200 works great for both sounds. You get what's probably hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of amps, effects, and cabinets for a fraction of the cost. The factory presets probably aren't for most people, but the fun is in creating your own anyway. I definitely recommend using the PC/Mac software for this, as it's a little easier on the eyes and a bit more intuitive as far as the interface goes, but working with the unit itself just takes a little time and experimenting to get used to as the documentation isn't as detailed as it could be for the depth of options available. The acoustic guitar IRs are helpful for buffing up a standard piezo pickup; they won't fill anyone into thinking that your $200 guitar is a vintage Martin or whatnot, but they do bring a bit more depth to the sound. I find them a bit brittle-sounding, but perhaps with more EQ tweaking I could minimize that. I highly recommend this unit for people who want a good, flexible modeling solution without paying thousands. I haven't had the opportunity to play with big-name modelers, but this will definitely do the trick for most.Josh

Let me start off by saying this pedal just arrived today. I've played through it for about an hour. I spent about 30 seconds adjusting the knobs. This thing is killer. It's super easy to dial in. Within 2 minutes I was blown away. It just adds something I didn't even know that I needed. It is currently on sale for and at that price it's a complete no brainer. I wouldn't even be upset if I paid full price. I would have been just as pleased. I have it set as a slight boost with a little compression right before my walrus voyager. It's just an incredible tone machine at a price that is almost laughable. Stop reading my review and buy one NOW! Call up my boy nick Graham and it'll be at your house before the sun goes down. Disappointed, totally. I espected more for the cost. 50 dollars for a multi-preset pedal wich sounds the same all presets (as a bad funtioning spring reverb). I ve had many… Many- I insist – reverbs (hof 1, hof 2, arena, verbzilla, supernatural, rv6) and this one have been the worst. Maybe you should invest a little more money and get a nux or donner (those havent let me down). Havent mention the fact this pedal affect painfully the dry signal too much, even at low mix levels. Stay away, bad and expensive. Dont give credit to demos wich are posted around.tfperaltav
The product itself is incredible!!! Absolutely fantastic light show in one unit! The only problem I have is that the so called user manual was a spec sheet and had no instructions on how to actually operate the unit. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone but make sure you have the time to figure out what the display is saying and how to go through the menu list to make it perform the different functions it's capable of.chrisnew919

Reviews:
I used a Boss SD-9 until it broke, and I have an 80's ProCo Rat that doesn't quite work as the edge that I was looking for. I was using a Chinese T'Screamer clone pedal, and it was good…but I thought, wouldn't the real thing be better? I weighed price against quality and quality won out, and I went with the Maxon instead of the Ibanez TS simply because the reviews overall were better. I'm not disappointed; the OD-9 is exactly the rocket fuel I was needing to get into the cosmos. Running the 50's Classic Strat through the OD-9 into a Deluxe Reverb is like finding gold. It sounds like a beautiful, buxom angel is sitting on top of your amp and singing Glory Glory Hallelujah. It is the sound you wanted all along and never, until this moment, could you get. For additional fire, to invoke an angry, but still buxom, angel, I run the Rat after the OD-9 to dial in a little bit more divine wrath. This is the pedal you want. This pedal, IS the pedal. So it is written, so it shall be done.
I ordered in store and was told I'd get it 3-5 days. I ended up getting it after almost 2 weeks. Had the run around with fed ex. Fed Ex made the the entire thing a headache with their signature required delivery. I'm never home as I'm always working so it took 2 days to get it delivered after the initial day it was suppose to. Also, I ordered the original GREEN Maxon 808 and the order I got delivered to me was the new version of the pedal which is the Maxon 808X which is a red pedal. If it wasn't for the excellent updates on this pedal vs the original green id of returned and asked for my money back.JOE
Why 4 starts and not 5? If you know what a tube screamer does, then this does the business – 5 stars. It really feels like it's built to last, but this ‘80s style design means the pedal feels very heavy and ‘oversized’ compared to modern designs. Underneath it has built in rubber seating which means it is a bit difficult to attach velcro to fix to a pedal board. All this means that if you use it on the floor (‘80s) style then 5 stars, on a pedal board though 4 stars. Sound wise you might be shocked if all you do is compare the sound from a solo guitar with the pedal on and off – it sculptures the sound so that you notice a roll off of bass and treble … but in a mix or on stage the pedal is superb at highlighting the guitar. Just step on it for a solo and you get this wonderful midrange boost and suddenly your guitar just pop’s out of the mix for all to hear. All in all if this is your only pedal and you don’t play with a cranked tube amp you might be a bit disappointed. If you are combining with other overdrives and/or overdriven amps it can really bring out a clarity in the sound and is a great tool.David B.

Reviews:
I normally play flamenco guitar and have a very good acoustic amp I use for flamenco. I acquired an electric guitar, and needed a vintage overdrive sound, but I didn't want to buy another guitar amplifier. This unit does exactly what I need, providing a good range of distortion from mild to heavy, transforming my acoustic amp into what sounds more like a vintage tube amp. My wife likes the sound of the acoustic amp and TO800 combo, which surprised me because she usually doesn't care much for the sound of electric guitars. I'm very happy with this unit. I would highly recommend purchasing a power supply with the TO800. I discovered it goes through batteries much faster than I had anticipated.Timothy
I got this pedal to use with a low gain amp at rehearsals. I didn't want to drag out my regular board or take it apart. I was looking for an inexpensive overdrive pedal. I saw this , read the reviews and said what the heck. I actually got the pedal for free as I had enough reward points. I regularly use a Boss Blues Driver which I have had for over ten years. I got the pedal and hooked it up and was pleasantly surprised. It is very comparable to my Blues Driver. It accepts both my Dunlop nine volt adapters and my One Spot power supplies. The case is metal. I may even incorporate it into my regular board for another degree of overdrive. If you are considering trying an OD pedal, you can't go wrong with this. I am a semi professional guitarist with over fifty years of playing experience. I use tube amps and mainly American Fender guitars. I know what I'm talking about. An OD pedal is not the same as a distortion pedal. The purpose of an OD is to push you're amp to a higher gain level than it may be capable of or to give you a little more guts when playing a lead without changing the settings on your amp. I mainly play blues, classic rock and country rock. I don't need the OD when playing through my Marshall.Doctor J
The Good: The sound of this thing is great for grimy, doom metal. It's easy to use, sounds great, and has a decent depth of customization. The Bad: You have to press in the hinges on the pedal itself as the battery is under the pedal. It was scratched up before I even got to play it because of this. There's no reason the manufacturer could not have just put a small door in the bottom of the unit like every other pedal I've ever used. Also, the first time I changed the battery, the negative wire pulled out of the connector. I've decided that since I already bought it and like the way it sounds, I'm going to jury-rig a battery connector outside the main body. It'll look like cr4p, but I'll be able to use it without damaging it further and won't have to spend extra for a 110v adapter. I had read about the difficulty changing the battery, but figured I'd give it a shot because it's got so low-priced. Had I gone to a brink and mortar store and seen it, I would not have purchased this unit. If someone already has an adapter they plan on using with it, by all means do so.Russ G

What an amazing color they chose. I was on the fence, but since I never actually owned a TS-9 (I have something like 20 other OD's, including a Keeley TS9-DX), the red color made the decision for me. Sounds great, a little quieter than my TS-9dx, but sounds similar to it when the dx is in TS-9 mode (Stunner eh?) A worthy addition to any OD junkie's collection.Xyrium
Can't say enough good things about the Ibanez Ts9. It's a very versatile pedal and adds a mid boost plus overdrives the preamp in a pleasant sweet way and just adds that extra MOJO or magic something to the guitar tone. Great for lead and rhythm from 80s rock to the most extreme metal bandsaeron_chrom
The Ibanez Tube Screamer TS808 has been one of if not the best tube screamer of all time. It's a must have for anyone looking for that good old fashioned blues or rock sound. This is by far my favorite pedal on my board. I highly recommend having one or at least the mini version. I've had both and they sound amazing. Happy Tunes!aleste2005

I use the volume pedal in my signal chain almost more than the volume knob on my guitar. You can move it around from the effects loop or in front of the amp if your not getting the desired response. Dunlop makes a robust, durable and very responsive volume pedal. The only thing is that it looks exactly like my Dunlop Cry Baby Wah pedal.Chris
When I was a kid, I did not understand subtlety and tonal quality…whatever solid state amp and distortion/chorus set-up I could find was great…this pedal would have bored me to death. What little did I understand…the tone is just full and lush, like increasing your font from 10 to 12. There is a large amount of headroom for a 9v, very usable. The overdrive is very tasty once rolled on. It responds in such a transparent way (I played a clean sample loop through it so I could focus on what the controls actually do). I have a strong preference for a high degree of sag, but it would be usable in other ways, too. Combined with a good compressor and an eq, I have a newfound love of playing…lifelong humbucker/P90 fan and now I am just in love with the clarity and dynamic expression possible with a rich single coil on my strats and teles. It is worth money to make it fun; this pedal definitely makes playing fun for me.coopermatman
Pedal works good. Like the color of the pedal, and the lights when switches are activated. Makes pedal board look good. Distortion sounds good but not as heavy as I like. Would like to have separate switches so you could use distortion without the wah activated. Might have features I haven't figured out yet. I bought used with no power supply or manuals. Probably should have bought new.bbf_56

Reviews:
This is a powerful, yet nuanced delay/modulation/filter/boost pedal. It's hard to just say it is simply a delay pedal. I would mention, that this a very responsive pedal, depending on subtle adjustments, and picking techniques, guitar volume settings, you can Begin to coax various tones and sounds from it. It almost behaves like an instrument somewhat as you get more familiar with using the settings to your advantage. The preamp is a great always on "tone boost" to your amps tone. Adds clarity and gain to your base tone that cuts through. The option to use the Deluxe as a wah is an added bonus. Adding an expression pedal to control delay volume or delay time is almost a must, it opens up your control so much. Dial in your repeats to almost oscillate, and back off the volume to control the feedback is awesome. Individual récord/play head volumes allow a dynamic feel to the repeats that has a natural feel that reacts to picking style. Give this pedal some time to adjust to and definitely watch the Catalinbread videos by Howard (and re-watch them) to get familiar with all the options and controls. His videos opened up my mind to understand how to set it for my use and get the most out of it. Honestly if I hadn't given the pedal a couple of weeks and seen the videos, I may have returned it. But after learning how the pedal emulates an actual echoplex, I will keep this on my board along side my El Capistan. (They are great together). Oh – I forgot about the other button that gives instant oscillation (interior pot to control repeat amount) Press on the button and instant preset oscillation comes on. Let it oscillate to your desire and press again to stop. Oscillation trails off depending how the trim pot is set. Its expensive but if you like EP, CC or DMM sounds, they are all included in this pedal. Along with other options. Bottom line is the tone is great. The features really are on many other pedals.Davey
Overall: This is purely a review on the quality of the product itself not based on the sound. For the price I am beyond disappointed on the quality of this pedal. The knobs are gritty, and make a noise when you twist them. They are so tall that your toes will hit them every time you turn the pedal on and off. The on/off buttons feel fragile, they won’t last very long. One the most infuriating things about this pedals design is the expression switch. It’s a inch away from the on off switch and like with everything else on this pedal feels fragile and will most likely get stepped on and broken off. The box is grey and the labeling is light blue which makes reading the pedal harder than it should have to be. Over all I’m feeling stupid for spending $400 after tax on this pedal.Nick
Overall: Hey all garbage pale kids out there in Tupac land. This is the Epoch Delay. The effect pedal that’s going to do great things when it grows up and maybe even save a company from the depths of hell. It will assist you on your sonic journey and might even help you find Animal Chin. Lay down all you’re other delay devices and worship the one true Slapback god. Worship no false idols before it…..The Epoch Deluxe Delay will save your wretched soul, soul, soul!Chris

Love Way Huge pedals and this Fuzz is better than my big old silver Big Muff Pi.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
I've never been much into fuzz pedals and despite not finding more than one online demo for this pedal that I liked, I decided to give it a try. People seem to want to max out or all but max out the gain in most demos and they also seem to insist on running the tone knob way too high. But this pedal can sound really nice at a milder setting which is what I wanted. It also sounds fantastic going into the Overrated Special. You get a very convincing Eric Johnson lead tone doing so.Seth

Reviews:
