One of the great white whales of the bass world. an early 60's fender custom color p bass. this one in original sherwood green is a supreme example. dates to march 5th 1963. mike lull had retfretted the instrument a couple years ago and it plays wonderful. a couple of dots look to have been replaced or maybe polished when the refret happened as pictured and some foam under the pick ups to keep them in place. rare as hens teeth. please ask any questions you have before purchase.

Fender bass guitar. this was my grandfather‘s guitar he had it and loved it for many years. beautiful preowned fender precision bass guitar built on it has some scratches. all in all this guitar for it's year is in unbelievable cosmetic condition. the finish is just beautiful. the instrument has an unbelievable neck feel and the tone that will blow you away. it does have the fender hard shell case that goes with it

Up for sale is this vintage 1981 fender precision bass in the "international series" sahara taupe finish featuring a super rare rosewood fretboard. we have sold a number of "international series" instruments over the years and we can't remember a single one that has had a rosewood fretboard, nor can we find many photos online of this rare combination. this particular instrument is in nice condition for its age, but does show some wear. the finish is clean overall, but there are some noticable scratches on the back (pictured) and some typical small dings and scuffs as one would expect. there is some slight finish discoloration in the "arm-wear" area. the instrument is all original, right down to the pickup and bridge covers, with the exception of one extra screw hole where the thumb rest was once moved. the original pickguard is slightly discolored where the thumb rest was living for a while. the serial number sticker in the neck pocket matches the serial number on the headstock, so …

This is a vintage 1960s "fender" serviceman jazz bass with a blue finish. during the vietnam war, shop-owners in the philippines began making their own versions of popular american instruments to sell, cheaply, to soldiers stationed abroad. many of these guitars or basses were hand-made, using dense, bleached woods to achieve the look of maple, and budget electronics that were available at the time. cherished for their morale-boost, some of these eccentric guitars returned to the states with their owners and had continued to be played for years to come. this one is in good shape, with surprisingly impressive, possibly upgraded, hardware, and upgraded passive emg select pickups. the installer of these is likely who is responsible for drilling a small hole through the control cavity and back of the body. kinda cool. it also has expected nicks and dings throughout. it has a brass nut and brass frets, and its neck is truss-less, but straight with a chunky profile. these instruments are definitely rare, definitely

Here we have a lovely blue jazz bass that has seen some love. it's got a few nicks and dings, mostly on the side. but also two bigger dings, one on the back end one on the side. the front still looks darn good, especially with that sparkly blue paint. the neck is super thin and plays like a dream. it's also been upgraded with a badass 2 bridge at some point, and some lovely sounding custom shop pickups! it also comes with a very nice tweed padded gig bag. got questions? feel free to send me a message!
