Not only a must for accurate fretting but also has dulcimer frets indicators, and fret markers, if there is any criticism it would be that the plastic is a little to light weight. I reinforced the sides with wood to strengthen the outside which works well and holds the fretboard to be marked sorta like a jig. Perfect fret markings every time. Love it!att313
