I got this neck to replace the one I had on my Squier FSR Bullet Telecaster (in Metallic Purple with Maple Fretboard). This telecaster has a Maple neck with a normal C shape and felt really unrefined for a "Fender" neck. I decided to get this Fender Telecaster Standard Replacement Neck with a Modern C shape neck. This new actual Fender neck was a drastic change in quality and performance. Here's just a quick Pros and Con of this product. PROS: Real Fender Product – Because this is an official Fender product, the neck replacement on my Squier was seamless and very simple. Modern C – Makes a better feeling guitar when playing compared to the normal C shape neck. Satin Neck Finish on back – The neck is very smooth feeling when playing. The finish on the back of the neck doesn't get in the way of you playing fast. This helps if you have sweaty hands when playing. Gloss fretboard – This makes a difference because if doesn't feel like your fingers are sticking to the fretboard. Medium Jumbo Frets – Just feels nice when moving around the fretboard. Bending strings feel nicer than my old Squier frets. Pre Drilled Holes for Tuners – I already had Fender locking tuners. So it was a simple swap with no mods needed. CONS: Nut not slotted – I don't understand why the NUT isn't slotted at least for common string size. It is very slightly to get you started but you would need a file. I just used the low E strong and used it like a file but it didn't come out too well and I've had to buy a new nut that comes preslotted. No predrilled String tree hold – This really wasn't too much of a problem but it's scary if you get it wrong. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase after two weeks of everyday playing with it. this is my 4th roasted neck and I can't recommend them enough. especially if you live on or near the water. I can pull out my strat or tele after not playing them for a few days and they are right in tune look at the quality that is put into them and you'd agree. when screwed to a sunburst or pastel colored body they just really enhance the look of your instrument. the cost of the roasted neck is something you gotta think about like do you really want to spend that kinda Ching on a neck? hell you can buy a standard neck for less or even buy an after market neck and play the same its all about the stability of the wood that closed the deal for me. dig down deep in yer pocket and pony up the Ching for one of these I'm pretty sure you be pleased you did. I have them mounted to Mexican fenders and American fenders all have mated up perfect and very little fret work was needed this is my experience with these necks and you will find the same. in short I dig mine and will in the future will only use these beautiesho-joe56

I should have thought about that with all of the moisture being removed from the wood. I used fender press fit tuner bushings and installed them with a C-clamp as I always have. I heard the headstock crack as I was installing the D string bushing and my heart sank. Luckily, I was able to inject some wood glue and clamp it overnight to close it up, but I reamed out the G tuner bushing and learned my lesson. use care when installing the tuner bushings on anything roasted as the fibers in the wood simply will not compress the same way another neck would.Grey

This is identical to the bridge on the Geddy Lee signature J Bass, only it has FENDER engraved on it and not Geddy's signature. I installed this on a Squier J, dropped right on, set the action and intonation and was good to go. Even playing without being plugged in you can notice a difference in sustain and overall vibration transmitted through the body. Firstly this steam cleaner is multifunctional so can be converted into a handheld device which you can use the different attachments with. I refreshed the carpets and can see quite a difference and when using it on hard floors it leaves a streak free shine. It's easy to maintain as you just need to wash the steam mop pads but an issue i faced was that when you wash the pad, it doesn't seem to be thoroughly cleaned. I would have also liked it if more than just one steam mop pad came with the product. It is powerful in terms of quickly heating up and steaming but I feel that it could be better but for 22.99 you can't fault it. Due to it being refurbished it did come in the original box but the box was quite damaged. The product itself had minor signs of wear just a few marks. One thing to be careful of is when removing the floor head is to do it slowly and cautiously as it may lead to damage or injury. So you'll have noticed that reviewers of this bridge are divided as to whether it improves sustain – I can confirm it definitely does! I recently bought a Squier VM 70s Jazz Bass which sounds great but had a slightly flubby lack of response on the E and A strings. This bridge was a super-easy to fit (and I am REALLY bad at practical stuff), string spacing was pretty much spot on and I had the action and intonation acceptably sorted within 20 minutes. The difference in response and sustain isn't night and day – it won't make a budget bass sing like a Custom Shop bass – but it is very noticeable and takes a lot of effort out of my playing. I installed this unit on a five string bass and use the GI20 MIDI convertor. Both are working great. I find the tracking and accuracy rate very good overall. I found the installation straight forward. The pickup comes with all the adapters necessary for most bass configurations. I will note that I had an initial tracking problem that was due to my rush to try the darn thing out. On the neck side of the pickup are two screws that allow you to adjust for varied string spacing. Make sure you take the time to align these. It greatly increases the accuracy of tracking. PS. Thank you Roland Support! they had me squared away in less than ten minutes.Mickey D.

The adaptor is just right for a bridge pickup, with the same angle as Tele or Strat-type guitars. We found that the spacing of the screw holes is just an RCH wider than the holes on my Carvin TL60. Luckily my Guitar Tech (the awesome Mark Brown) was able to use Gibson screws (which are skinnier) and thus avoid redrilling the holes. Whether it would be appropriate for a neck pickup is above my pay grade, and whether the hole-spacing is OK for a different guitar, I can't say. Be prepared for the small complication. I purchased my left-handed Glarry Jazz bass back in July of 2020 as a way of keeping occupied during the lockdown, after nearly 2 years I'm still as blown away as the day it first arrived. This bass is a *beast*! It sounds incredible, very little adjustments were needed right out of the box, I lowered the action on one string a little & that's it. The thing that really impresses me in an ongoing way is this bass *insists* on remaining completely in tune almost indefinitely, I have a digital, highly-accurate tuner & this instrument rarely strays from being in tune even after lengthy practice. I find myself wondering how Glarry can possibly make money here. I've also, based on my experience with the bass, purchased a left handed strat copy in a matching finish, & also a Glarry kid's drumset, and am completely happy with my purchases. Thank you Glarry, you guys rock!
After hearing a lot of positives about Glarry basses I decided to take the plunge and order one. Unfortunately, I cannot report that I find it to be an amazing value as some have reported. The main problem is the neck. Out of the box the action was set quite high and the usual setup adjustments reveal that the frets are in serious need of a level and dressing. Besides the unpleasant fret fart outs, I notice a fair amount of odd resonances that seems to be originating from the neck on various notes. I can't tell if a good fret leveling would eliminate them or if it is something related to the truss rod internally. The truss rod does work, but turns WAY more easily than any other bass I've ever owned. (Probably 2 dozen over 40 plus years.) The body is good, finish is nice, and the electronics and hardware are serviceable. For the hundred-ish I spent, I'll keep it as a mod bass and replace the neck. Be forewarned: the original neck is a VERY chunky P-Bass width and nowhere near the normal streamlined Jazz Bass neck found on most Jazz basses and Jazz bass copies. Not sure this would be a good starter bass without taking it in for a good setup and fret leveling. In my neck of the woods that would cost about $150.00. Perhaps a better alternative would be to see what you can get in the $200- $300 range that comes ready to play out of the box. As always, YMMV.
I liked the affordable price and the look of the blue sunburst jazz bass. My plan was to completely modify it which I did. I sanded and stained the neck a darker color, applied several coats of polyurethane and a final coat of paste wax. The electronics were upgraded to alpha pots, braided wires and alnico5 pickups, a new wilkinson brass saddle bridge, black machine tuners, bone nut, black jazz bass volume/tone knobs, flat wound strings and a tortoise shell pickguard. While this instrument is completely fine for a beginner, I am more of a seasoned player and was up to the challenge of a fun project. Could I suggest maybe selling only bare body and neck without parts at a lower price which people could build their own instrument to their personal taste? Also, the internet is a wonderful place for information if someone knows where to look, but a beginner might not understand how or even if they need to adjust their truss rod or bridge saddles. Perhaps an included instruction booklet might also be useful as these instruments are catering towards beginners. I also modified a Glarry white P bass in a similar way but less extensive as the jazz. I had a lot of fun with these projects.

I'd been hearing about these things for a while now, and decided to go ahead and see if it lived up to all the hype. It does! I'm a drummer/singer who wears in-ear monitors, so I was missing out on all the bottom in the mix, and was really missing the feel of the subs thumping. Not only did the Buttkicker more than adequately compensate for me not hearing the subs anymore, I actually hear my vocals better as well. It's as if your monitor feed was going straight into your skeleton, so you hear it and feel it, internally. This product is genious. Everyone should have one. I DO NOT however know anything about their amplifiers. I'm powering mine with a Crown MT1200. Also, the connection terminal is pretty low grade, and be careful which buttkicker you buy, since one is 2 ohm,one is 4 ohm, and they do require a lot of power. This is a GREAT addition to your LFE channel. I have a DIY TC Sounds LMS-R 15" that I simply LOVE. It's powered by a Behringer EPX-4000 into 4ohms. The sub is mesmerizing, but I have a difficult room in that it's open to the rest of the house so it sounds is fantastic but in order to "feel" the sub, which is entirely possible, it needs to be loud, like really really LOUD. The sub and the amp don't break a sweat but my wife and little girl can't sleep with all the windows in the house shaking, as you can imagine. So, with this addition I still have the fantastic sound quality of my sub with the added benefit of the visceral experience usually only attainable at really high volume or with a whole lot of displacement (i.e. two, three, four subs). This particular model needs a LOT of power. They're saying min 400 watts but I can assure you you'll need something north of 1000 to achieve it's potential. I tried powering it off one side of the Behringer EPX-4000 at 4ohms which is good for about 600rms and it was not sufficient. It worked, but when I bridged the amp I was able to realize the full potential of this ingenious little device. So, if you go this route plan to spend the money on a 1000+ watt amp (that does not have a sub 20hz roll off) and bear in mind that it will suck up a lot of power at peak, so try to keep it off the same line as your other amps. This really is worth the cost of admission (about $500 for the BK-LFE and the amp). It allows you to get response way below 20hz without requiring silly volume. I love it and highly recommend it to anyone who can't always listen at reference level.Also, mounting is CRUCIAL. Don't buy the mounting kit. Read the other review on here about direct mounting. It's informative and RIGHT! You can mount this to a 2"x6" and attach it to the frame of your couch and the results are dramatically superior to attaching it to a leg. I have a very large sectional so I sued at five foot 2"x6" and mounted the Butkicker in it's vertical orientation (as recommended) and then attached the 2"x6" three separate parts of the sectional's frame from underneath with screws. You'll then want to isolate all the feet of your coach from the floor (I have hardwood) with rubber furniture feet. This will allow the entire couch to transfer the energy of the Buttkicker. I have one Buttkicker and a 6'x9' couch and it's plenty such that all seven seating positions have prodigious tactile transfer.So, worth every penny. Highly recommended. But direct mount it and be sure to isolate all the feet of your furniture from the floor.psf1
