This is a very cool toy for your pedal board. it has actually made me think more about the construction of the songs i'm learning cuz it forces you to lay down the beat. super versatile beat sounds. works really well with a digi tech looper. you can connect them with a 1/4 in cable and they sync with each other. so your loop track starts on the 1 along with you drum track. main time settings are 3/4 and 4/4. i'm moving to a computer based backing track (great, another rabbit hole for me) so the pedal is moving on. i have the original box but not the power supply. i have a 300 m/a output on my power block that works. fyi, a 100 m/a supply will not work.

The samples are good, it has plenty of right hand rhythmic variation and grooves available via a rotary knob, and the ability to select alternate sounds (hat/ride/floor tom), (snare/cross-stick/tambourine) is really handy. The auto-generated chorus is also quite useful, especially if you want to create your drum parts on the fly. There is a bit of a learning curve, particularly if you want to utilize more than just its basic features, but it's worth diving into the manual to learn all that the SDRUM is capable of. Amazing all the features this pedal has, first thing when you get one is download full manuel. The best place to learn about this pedal is youtube by the pedal guy, very informative videos, 4 he has out on this pedal! Can be complicated at first but not bad after i watched videos on it. Learned everything now and theirs not much it doesnt do, it doesnt seem to like more than 2 bars or so with metronome on ive noticed but a really good pedal to learn timing and have fun with!pazdra2008

This is the best cajon pedal out there hands down. I have tried multiple and they all have problems such as latency and poor quality. The direct linkage gives you 0 latency and lots of power. It is also built like a tank like most dw hardware products. Very stable and smooth you can even do double strokes. A little pricey but looking at the engineering aspects of this thing I think it's worth it.Steven

I've owned three cable driven and now two direct drive(DD) cajon pedals. This is unquestionably the best. Fine design, materials, components and build. These things drive ALL cost so DW's price for this device is understood. Can you get a competitive DD unit at one third the cost? Yes, and I've owned it, however it doesn't hold a candle to this system. Quite honestly, I sometimes see DW hardware products as over designed, but not with this. This is a Cajon pedal. It is not designed for use as a kick drum pedal nor would you use it as such on a Cajon. Comparing this to the build and feel of a kick pedal is not valid. Cajon pedals are light duty. They aren't made for heavy hits or heel toe technique. Having said that (and reading it in the user guide), this is a solid pedal for its intended use. Once adjusted to taste it has great response and feel. Cajon bass is a different style of play. Less complex and with less power. Use this pedal correctly you will be very satisfied. I did have to subtract a point because the pedal mount does not fit some larger Cajons. Measure your drum from front to back before ordering.Mike

If you don't want to have to go out and find the parts you need, then you've found the correct parts. These switches do what they say they do. They are replacements for failing guitar hero strummer switches. I found them easy to replace. You do have to have a soldering iron and solder sucker. It took me about 10 minutes for each guitar to replace them. Guitars played as new afterwards. You can find various YouTube videos on how to replace them. The switches are common simple SPDT lever switches. You can also pick them up at local electronic stores for about a $1 each. I didn't realize this when I bought them. I ended up going out to my local electronics store and buying more switches and replaced them on all four of our guitar hero guitars. I even sent a couple to my son and because they are so small and light it only cost the price of a stamp to mail them to him. If you have failing guitar hero strummer switches then I recommend them. Make sure you read the requirements to ensure they will work with your guitar. It appears that there are different switches for different models of guitars.floydwarren13
