Reviews:
Not only does this 5 watt lil' monster have enough power to rattle the windows, it also has class! At only 9 lbs. the Bugera T5 Infinium has enough "UMFF" to push your favorite 4X12" cabinet into the stratosphere! It's better having this reverb built into this lil' madman than not having any at all. Just like 9/10 of the other amp heads in its class. The 1 channel, "all tube" head has warm cleans. Push in the PHAT switch and crank the volume and gain and you get saturated distortion that will blow you away! All of that in a 9 lb metal cage like package for only $200! You won't find another 5 W head with all of that for this price. I love my T5 Infinium from Bugera!brmul-8207
What it's not: Not a $1k boutique tube amp. Not a mid-size club amp (unless you have great monitors and a good sound guy). What it is: A well designed, very affordable little monster that will give enough stage volume at 5W for rehearsals in a full rock band or small club, and will also allow you to drive the output stage at that 1W or 1/2W setting for recording at home. The amp sounds best at 5W and driven into either a 4ohm cabinet or two 8ohm cabs. If you use it to drive an 8ohm cab, you are getting only 70% of its potential. I only use el84 based amps. i love their dark, throaty sound, and while this amp doesn't have the punch or snap I get from my 15W custom built el 84 amps, it sounds great for rehearsal or recording. I am a little bit worried about long-term build quality. The input jack is plastic. I have a hard time seeing that surviving a year of rehearsals without breaking. This is a great supplemental amp for rehearsals and recording. Very smartly designed. Good feature set. And if you like the el84 style sound, it delivers it above expectations at this price range. I'm thinking of getting a second one.klktrk
In these days of small solid state, practice amps, this little amp gives you tube tone and more at a very affordable price. A 12ax7 preamp tube and an EL84 power tube provide the tone along with built in reverb, 2 band EQ, gain and a "phat" overdrive switch for added crunch. The three stage attenuator is a nice touch. The stock Bugera tubes are OK but I switched them out with Tung-Sols which provided a rich creamy overdrive more to my liking. Great sound when plugged into my Orange 8" or 12" cab plus headphone jack for late night playing. Great amp for the price!Isom

Reviews:
Overall: This amp is another example of Laney excellence. I have only until now had the pleasure of playing through one in a store last year. The clean channel sounds great even with pedals if you prefer pedals for overdrive and distortion. The distortion in this amp is hard to find fault with. My only recommendation is with using it with you DAW use a gate or denoiser. I used the one Pro Tools comes with and aola! Perfection. I also tested it's capabilities with a cabinet. Again A++ my only complaint was it was supposed to come with a gig bag and it wasn't in it and had to call zZounds but I was told they would order it if I didn't want to return the amp which I can't do.Jonathan
Overall: Perfect for recording in my home studio. Checked out both 1 and 15 watt inputs. The USB for direct recording and reamping works as advertised. Tonewise delivers the aggressive sounds I was looking for. Clean is nice, reverb and boost are great features as well. I am always looking for tones to separate me from the typical Marshall / Fender sounds.Solid build, controls feel tight and smooth. My only criticism is I would have liked a standby switch. Pushed at high volume with loud humbuckers it got a little noisy. Other than that I am highly satisfied with my purchase and the customer service provided by zZounds. The 12 month payment option is a great way to get the gear you want.David

Reviews:
For many years, I've heard how great the Kemper is, but the price was a bit daunting. So, I went through different rigs, looking for specific tones. When I needed a different tone, I needed to change my rig. So, I decided to try the modeling rigs. The problem with the modeling rigs is that they are software representations of how the developers/programmers "think" the amp is going to react. For the most part, they do a pretty good job. The downside is that when the modeler gets older, and the development stops, you no longer have any updates, or any new amp models. This is NOT the case with the Kemper. The Kemper is not a modeler, it's a profiler. You profile an amp, and you have the sound in your Kemper. The sound is generated from the Kemper's profiling, which means that it is NOT guitar specific. It comes with a ton of built in effects, so that you can get any sound you are looking for. You basically have a unit that is "future-proof". If an amp comes out in a couple of years, you can profile that amp, and have it in your arsenal. If you think about it, it's pretty much the cheapest amp head on the market, because it's essentially EVERY head on the market. The 3rd party vendors, selling profiles is amazing. You can find any amp that you could ever want. This is the best choice I've ever made. The sound quality blows away anything I have played through before. Simply amazing. I wish I had taken the plunge sooner.lespauled
I played with a $3k pedalboard and a $1200 amp that equaled about 120 lbs of gear. Now I play with $900 worth of pedals (the remote, mission pedal, and a wireless), a $1800 amp at about 35 lbs. The difference now, besides the $$$ saved and weight, is the tone has way more versatility. I am able to play profiles of amps that are worth way more than the kemper and switch guitars without having to tweak much. Its a stellar piece of gear out of the box. I play semi-professional. Its a second job and hobby as well as playing at church.stephentietjen
Recently purchased the Kemper after owning the Axe Fx basic model. Although there are a lot of features the layout is so simple and intuitive that I was able to make adjustments, firmware updates and amp favorites sections in seconds. literally that easy. These types of steps were much more cumbersome if not downright difficult with the Axe Fx. On to the Amp Profiles- well they're not models- each title feels like a breathing reacting amplifier- you literally get 300 to play with right out of the box- but to my amazement, I downloaded the rig manager and was able load into my Kemper another 15 dream amps that the kemper community had posted. By the way, this was 15 out of over 5,500 other amp choices to load! The tones I was able to create in a very short time had me shaking my head. Each amp can be tweaked and the range of tone is amazing. I was able to adjust any amp to a point where i was capturing a great sound and then of course could save that snapshot immediately. I feel that the technology in the Kemper finally has captured what many others have attempted in the amp modeling field. The Kemper is in a class of it's own. This is a no brainer purchase- why buy an amp when you can own this and own every amp exactly as they originally sound, and capture any others with the profiling feature. they say to primitives advanced technology will seem as magic- well, kemper is pure magic to this primitive…Yeszenknow

Reviews:
With C19 I was looking for a good home tube amp and the Revv D20 way exceeded my expectations. The sound is terrific. Works well with my hx effects + pedal board. Attenuates onboard from 20w to 4w. And when I need to be quiet (headphones) or just want to pull tones into my DAW, the Two Notes torpedo is really good. I'm really glad I bought this Amp.Ira
Great sounding amp and the built in two notes cab sim is great. Great metal tones but you’ll need an overdrive pedal to really get the most out of it. Clean tones are gorgeous. MIDI is simple to use to change the channel and various other parameters too. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to silently record but with the option to power a cab too!Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
What a fantastic amplifier this is. Worth every penny. The High and Low power settings both give different sounds and are equally usable. For more gain I use a Korg Nu:Tekt Over Drive pedal, they go very well together. I use beyerdynamic DT770 Pro headphones with the cab sim output every day! Have not stopped playing this amp since it arrived and I would say to anyone looking for an amplifier like this that if they are in a position to do so, then buy it without hesitation. My Shergold guitar and my Gordon Smith guitar go so well with this amp- both guitars have Humbucker pick ups and definitely give me the kind of tone that I have been looking for since I first heard JoyDivision more than 40 years ago. The amp works well with my Gibson ES330 guitar too which has P90 pick ups and is sort of an upmarket Casino. If anyone knows the sounds of Bernard Sumner with both the Shergold Masquerader and the ES330 then this amp sounds a lot like his setup without the punishing volume of his Vox. I have also been able to get the Neil Young Cortez the Killer tone pretty convincingly too. No regret at all in buying this amplifier and if it breaks would buy another without hesitation. I should perhaps add that this is the first Valve Amp that I have ever bought after many years of building my own Valve Amps.David C.

Reviews:
I've been running solid state amps for 30+ years now. Tried tube amps back in the day (Marshalls, Randalls, Carvins, Fenders, Peaveys, etc…) but it seemed as though they always needed to be in the shop for one reason or another. Solid State was my choice for decades… Well, now here's this single rack space, all-tube power amp – I had to try it. Love it!!! Had the first rehearsal with the band last week and everybody could hear the difference. At first I thought it was just me being happy about a new amp; but, no… I heard it too, and they all said how great the entire room sounded! The SYN5050 has way more dynamic response than any other SS or older Tube amp that I have ever played through. Clean, clear, ballsy – every nuance of my picking comes through. I gave it 4 and a half stars because I need to use it more. Really happy with my set-up at the first 3-hour practice. This weekend I will gig it for 4+hours – more on that later! Try it, you'll like it!
This is one of the best tube power amp if not the best!mammb4234

Reviews:
I was looking for a tube amp head and a 112 cab. Like a lot of people I don't have a ton of money to spend, but I wanted something that would work for what I do. When I got the amp it worked and as advised a let the power tubes warm up before I used it. this is a list of features I really like. 1. A good built in reverb. 2. An effect loop. 3. A switch for 4,8 and 16 Ohm speakers. 4. Came with a foot switch that that controls the channels and turn the reverb on or off 5. Two channels. A clean and a dirty. 6. Responsive tone and volume knobs. 7. Four pre-amp and two power-amp tubes. 8. The Infinity self bias feature for changing tubes. 9. One of the best clean channels I've ever used on a tube amp. 10. Works very well with pedals and effects units. 11. A indicator in back to let you know if the tubes need to be replaced. 12. A great price for a 50 watt all tube amp. 13. Looks great, almost like a Vox Night Train(which I believe Bugera modeled this after). 14. Works extremely well with the Burgera 112TS cab. Great cab by the way. 15. Has a fat switch which is helpful for people using single coil pickups in their guitars. These are the thing I didn't care for. 1. A fairly bad dirty channel. It tends to get fizzy sounding when bring up the gain. 2. The Tone Cut Knob in my opinion is pretty much useless. It kill your tone and sounds like a wet blanket was put over the speaker or speakers. Maybe if you use it slightly I could see a use for it, but you're better off using your EQ and/or adding an EQ to your effects loop. 3. The stock tubes aren't that good, but then again you can't except much for an inexpensive tube amp. I love and enjoy playing different kinds of music, but I love my metal :). I put in a set of GT 6L6GEs, a EH 12AX7 in V1, a Tung Sol 12 AX7 in V2, a EH 12AX7 in V3 and a EH 12AX7 in V4. This cleaned up the fizzy sound and tightened up my tone, but you still need separate overdrive and compression to put this amp in modern metal territory.Realmofreal
I have had the G20 for a couple of weeks and it has exceeded my expectations. I have had over a dozen amps in the past few decades, mostly solid state combos. One exception is an Orange Micro Dark hybrid I still own. This is my first all tube amp, and to me, the G20 provides "better" tones than any of my others. The G20 feels well built, with metal knobs & switches, solid connectors, and nice tolex with everything straight. The Morph knob adds great variety and tone controls work well. I have played it through 3 similar 1×12 open-back pine cabinets with Celestion Rocker 50, V-Type, and WGS ET-65 speakers. It sounds different with each one providing their own character. My previous right-angle instrument cable did not fit well with the input location and upgrading with a straight Kirlin cable was a noticeable improvement. The amp sounds good with a 1994 Fender Am.Std. Strat – getting nice clean and bluesy tones. Mostly, I've played a 2014 GLP Studio with 490s. With the Gain at 12 o'clock & Volume on 10, the Overdrive channel provides a nice, well, overdrive. The cleans are nice – clear and chimey. With Clean Volume at 3 o'clock, to match the gain settings when channel switching, it gets a bit dirty when guitar volume approaches 10. The Master allows you to get the tone you like and adjust the volume. With the above settings, the Master on 1, the amp is pretty loud in a 24' x 16' room. I have found it responsive to volume and tone adjustments on the guitar and pick attack. The reverb seems good (set on 1), but the cabinets with their location provide a certain amount of reverb so I have a hard time telling how effective it is otherwise. I really like this amp! It is quiet and can produce a variety of very nice guitar tones. I'm hoping the Infinium technology eases future tube changes and lets me know when it is needed. I will be using the amp at home so can't speak to its roadworthiness or relative loudness in a band setting. Worth checking!C-ville Brent
Got this as B stock, and since I repair amps, I took this amp apart and tested the tubes. The tubes are Tung Sol reissue copies and they sound great—let them break in first, give it about four or five months of intermittent use. You'll be very pleased with the results, I can tell you, the sound stage and head room are outstanding, the EL-34's positively purr! I had to remove the lead free solder from all of the tube sockets, as they turned out to be cold solder joints (ergo, why I got a deal on the amp, as a B stock customer return.) I used leaded solder and since I have been soldering for over 43 years of my life, the work turned out very nicely… Surprise! The amp sounded far, far better than it had originally, if you have the skills with solder wick and a soldering iron, give it a shot, you won't regret it!! 99% of the problems with these amps are simply due to the tube sockets being hand soldered incorrectly, the main board, which is wave soldered, is 100% perfect, even with the lead free solder used. The Fender to Marshall ISF pot works, interesting tones produced by this, you'll enjoy the results… The PC boards use surface mounted components, for the most part, so don't buy this amp thinking that you can modify it that easily, you can't and it really is not necessary, the amp sings fine, just as it is!ejmendoza

Reviews:
Sound: The clean channel is basically a low overdrive channel. Which is fine by me since I never use this amp for clean tones. The number 2 "classic" overdrive is really the best gain you can get for the price. I'm a firm believer in amp over pedals when it comes to distortion and this amp definitely delivers some serious distortion. Very good tribute to the old dime amps. Channel 3 is more suited to the newer "core" sound. It's my low channel for when I want to practice and not blow the windows off but if I turned it up it would rip paint off with the amount of gain. It's not a bad lead channel but the tone will take some time to match up if you tend to switch a lot. All in all, it's not an RH100 but it's not at all a bad amp. Especially for the price. Features: The built in noise gate is crap but it does help. The reverb has a tendency to over saturate and leave this annoying hum if you have it too high. The eq isn't over responsive but it's not dead so you can shape your tone fairly easily. I got around all of these problems by adding an eq turning down the reverb and getting a cheap noise gate and now it's near perfect. Ease of Use: It's a solid state amp so it's literally plug in and play. Finding a tone is fairly easy if you don't mind taking a minute and dialing it in. Footswitches make the world go round… Nuff said… Quality: It seems well made and I take pretty good care of my stuff so it should last a while. Value: This is pretty self explanatory… Manufacturer Support: Never needed it. The Wow Factor: For the price… WOW Overall: I got this in a pinch to go with an old orange cab for my band. Probably the best quick decision I've made in a while.Juan
I have always wanted a Randall Amp but have never had the means or opportunity to purchase one until now. There are pros and cons to this amp but the props most definitely outweigh the cons. Pros Amp's 3 channels make it very easy to switch between genres of music Clean channel is very crisp and other channels have enough "punch" to knock your socks off Buttons are well organized for ease of use and user functionality Built in bass boost and mid scoop make this amp unique Cons The only problem i have found is that it sometimes requires a noise gate in the effects loop as playing at higher gain settings sometimes causes it to hum. Though this is a solid state i feel as if it competes well with higher end tube amps. Overall this is amp is definitely worth the money.Nathaniel

Reviews:
I ordered a positive grid 600W head it arrived defective and I returned it the next day I then ordered and paid for a second one because I didn't want to miss out on the deal. Well today I called them because the second head was not being shipped and I was told that I would not be getting the second amp because they were out. They are refunding all my money that's not the problem the problem is I was told they had another to sell me which I was find with even though they should have set one aside because they knew the first one was being shipped back. I was not even offered a deal a a rack one which they have in stock I think I should have been offered a deal on one of the other positive grid. I guess I won't be coming back terrible customer service.carl2-82833
This amp is incredible. Having pretty much any sound at my fingertips, in a unit which can go from whisper quiet (but still great sounding) to stage volume is awesome. The knobs/switches etc all feel like very high quality, and the added software licence is a nice bonus. It may seem pricey, but it is way, way cheaper than buying all those classic amps, and the sounds are indistinguishable. Can't recommend highly enough.malediction99
I was very excited to get the Bias head after many reviews online. To my disappointment, it seems that this amounts to a midi controller for the Bias Amp software and pretty much nothing else. Unfortunately, I was not able to get any kind of usable tone out of this (possibly due to my own lack of understanding or maybe it needs to be run out of a cab) but, the thing that made me give it a two star rating is that I found out the Bias FX software cannot also be used with this head. There is so much more that could have been done with this thing. I am very disappointed with the execution of this product and had hoped for something more than the bare minimum amount of functionality.NICK
12. Stage Right By Monoprice Sb20 50-Watt All Tube 2-Channel Guitar Amp Head With Reverb
Product Details:
While modern solid state and modeling amplifiers provide valuable versatility, nothing sounds quite as right as a tube amp. preferred by most for their warm, round tone, tube amps can also produce organic sounding distortion that is superior to most, if not all, solid state equivalents. with the sb20 amp head and sb12 combo amp, stage right delivers organic, classic, high gain tube tone in a powerful and hyper affordable package. these are real, professional tube guitar amplifiers for the value minded and/or working musician.
Reviews:
overall I really like this amp. the dirty channel has a good crunch. Not a very tainted sound, which I like a lot. Clean channel is not real chimy like some, but nice and clean. the face plate is also black, unlike the 30 watt which is easier to see. The issue is the channel switching. While some amps are known for a load pop, this is quite the opposite, and I am guessing the pop is what they were trying to avoid. this one actually drops in volume and then comes back up between channels. Deal breaker. I can't use this live if it cuts out. Really wanted to have this kicking around for a second amp. But I will be returning this.brian
First one arrived and the overdrive channel sounded awful. Made arrangements to return it and the process went quick, I had a new one a week after sending the bad one back. The second one turned out as advertised. You can dial in a wide range of tones and has that beautiful tube sound. The reverb is just a tad weak but still ok. Also, effects pedals sound great. It?s an awesome buy.Leo
I had a 50 watt 6L6 guitar head and sold it only to regret it later. I saw this one on sale and I took a chance. Glad I did. Disclaimer: I only use it for a pedal platform, although I have tried the gain channel. It's "ok" (not great) but to use the amp that way you'll really have to work with the both channels to achieve unity volume. As a clean channel pedal platform it's great. Like others have said the reverb is lacking but I usually just leave it on 10:00 for ambience. This amp is LOUD and can easily hang with a large band if needed. As far as reliability, time will tell, but it seems well made IMO.john
13. Gator Gfw-Gtr-Amp Frameworks Combo Amp Stand
Product Details:
The gator cases frameworks combo amp stand is designed to support most guitar combo amplifiers. it has a tilt-back design and can handle amps up to 176-pounds. the stand has a rubberized leveling foot designed to provide stability and can be locked in the closed position for transport. the combo amp stand is adjustable and has a minimum height of 5" and a maximum height of 20".
Specifications:
Weight | 9.4 lb |
Reviews:
I have to agree with some of the previous reviews. This product is well made and looks like it will last forever. The only problem is with the one obvious design flaw. The top rear support rail is only 19" long, which is way too short for some amps. If you have an open-back combo amp, the rail will sit inside the side walls of the amp and potentially push against tubes. That makes it unusable. There is a simple modification to fix this. Just add a piece of wood or a steel tube to lengthen the rail. I knew when I ordered the stand that I would need to do this, so I wasn't upset when I received it. I would still recommend this product, but just be aware that depending on the design of your amp, you may need to modify the stand. A little disappointed in Gator. Their products are usually very well thought out. Still, it's a usable product, after you make the mod.mclove2000
This amp stand is solid and does just what I need it to do. I love being able to have the amp angled back so I can get the sound directly from the amp as well as from my monitor. I like that this is low enough to the ground that I can use my amp mic. stand. A big shout out to my sales engineer Ian Lemberg! He is always extremely helpful and makes every buying experience pleasant. Ian is the big reason why I continue to do 99.9% of my musical needs shopping with Sweetwater! Keep up the great work Ian!
My guitar player used this on a gig and because he has a Fender Hot Rod Deville the back support fell right in where the back of the amp is open. It held the amp but not the way you want and because of this the center of gravity was off, we needed to lean it against the wall for more stability. If the back support was the size of the front support there would be no problem! Why they made the back support smaller than the front is beyond me. Just a few more inches on the back support and there isn't an amp that it can't hold. This stand will support a 100 lbs. amp with ease it's very well made.BT

When I first got this, I notice the 2 bolts holding each rail were loose enough that the rails slightly shifted, so I tightened them. After mounting the amps in, I found that there was no way to support the back of the bottom amp, so I pinned 2 thin pieces of wood between the under-side of the amp's corners and the case floor board. Other than those minor issues, case is solid for other gear on top.PC/sound guy
Trying to find a quality case for a fair price is a difficult task. I looked all over, and finally found something built well that does the job well. I'm sure there are higher quality cases available, but this one does the trick for our weekend warrior needs. The only thing that is not perfect is the fit of the covers, which take a little extra aligning at first, hopefully it will work itself in over time. I'm still very pleased overall and it does protect my gear well. A++++Ron P.
