Just in is this beautiful 1976 gibson les paul recording. this les paul weighs 10.6lbs. this is a really cool playing and sounding guitar. it is all original minus the tone knob cap and added labels on the control panel. the body of the guitar is in very nice shape for its age with minimal dings and chips as pictured. the neck has some clearcoat chipping by the headstock from a guitar stand. the guitar is free from breaks or repairs. the finish does have some checking mostly on the back of the maple neck. the pickups and electronics are all original and work and sound great. there is so many different tones you can get out of this guitar. the neck is the typical norlin profile with volute. it is very comfortable. the frets are also the low wide frets of this era. every note rings true. these les paul recording guitars are a great addition to any players collection. will be shipped in original case. case has a rope handle. original broke but is included. please feel free to ask any questions you may have

This one came into our shop via trade. the guitar is in overall very good condition: the neck is straight, truss rod works, frets are free from wear and the action is very playable. the electronics are clean and sound great. the pickups are responsive and versatile. the instrument does have some scratches on the pickguard and there is some faint worming on the back of the guitar. under the headstock, there are some markings indicative of being hung on a hanger with surgical tubing. it has removed/disturbed the finish in that area. there are some small dings on the body but nothing that wouldn't come from normal use. please see photos for details. we do have hard cases and gigbags available if you'd like to add one. weighs in a 8lb 13oz the affordable gibson lpj solidbody electric guitar is the perfect addition to any collection. you get a solid mahogany, traditional weight-relieved body that exudes tone. a carved maple cap gives this les paul the classic edge and bite that it's known for. you'll find the traditional '50s neck profile capped with a rosewood fingerboard easy and comfortable to play. to capture the classic les paul sound, gibson decided to give the lpj a pair of classic-style humbuckers, including a 490r at the neck and a 498t at the bridge. these pickups capture the sound of traditional 1950s pafs tweaked to bring out more midrange snarl. together with the lpj's mahogany body, this pair of humbuckers gives you a tone that was born to rock.
