Reviews:
After buying a great wooden guitar stand and finding it wouldn't support my guitars (a BC Rich Warbeast and Warlock), it was suggested I get this stand as an exchange. I'm glad I did. It's built like a tank, supports both guitars, it's extremely stable, easy to set up and transport, and the guitars are there and ready when I want to pick them up. Great customer service with the return and exchange. If you're looking for a stand that'll handle your guitars, no matter the size or shape, provide a secure place to keep them, and look great doing it, pick this stand up.Andrew
I recently purchased the On-Stage Double Guitar Stand and I am very, very satisfied. I had an older single guitar stand from a different manufacturer which I had been happy with too, but I'm a bass player and started playing out a few times a month and recently bought another bass as a back up so I needed a double stand for the stage. I'm sure there are other stands on the market that may be more heavy duty and are likely more than twice the money, but the reality is it's a stand. It sits there and holds your guitar. This stand is more than sufficient. This stand is well made. The weld joints are solid. The threaded adjustment bolts are well constructed and solid. All areas that contact the guitar are cushioned. It comes with a nice black painted finish too. The best part of this stand for me was that the entire thing can be broken down easily for transport. And if you play out regularly then you know that ease and portability are a nice feature. The picture doesn't show so clearly but the top double headstock neck cradle unscrews from the vertical shaft. Then the vertical shaft is height-adjustable and also unscrews to remove it from the lower shaft. The bottom 3 legs fold in, and the 2 lower mounts that the guitar bodies sit on easily pull out of the lower shaft too. Ultra Convenient! I broke this thing in just this past weekend when I gigged with my band and I was very pleased. I put it together quickly. It held both of my basses without a problem. It has 2 rubber safety straps up top which I would recommend using just in case you accidentally bump into the stand. I purchased this stand, qualified for free shipping and it was at my house in a few days. The price was great, the quality and portability was a huge plus and I highly recommend this stand to anyone looking for a stand either for your home, your studio, or for the road. You won't be disappointed !

Reviews:
I purchased a bass and needed a stand to hold my old guitar while I played the new bass. I was blown away by the quality of this stand for how little I paid for it. It makes playing so much easier when you have your guitars out in the open without any obstructions to picking up and playing your guitars.Joshua
I wanted a double stand that was one piece and collapsed flat to fit into the same road case as mic stands. This does that and also holds my guitars securely with padding at all contact points. It does seem like it would be easy to push over when there is only one guitar on it, but it doesn't seem in danger of falling over on its own. I keep it so the guitars are just barely off the ground and I've had no issues.Motorbilly

Reviews:
Perfect for gigging with two guitars. I use it for an electric and an acoustic. Works great. Cables don't get tangled. Easy transition between instruments. I was concerned it would be too big for a small stage like a pub, but the footprint can be adjusted making it great for any size stage. Tough construction. This is the best guitar stand I've purchased and one of the best gear investments I've made.JP
If you own this you know what I’m talking about when you pick it up by the wrong spot. It doesn’t really lock when folded. I bought this hoping to only bring 1 stand instead of the 2 ultimate guitar stands I currently bring. I was hoping this would be lighter and take up less room in my gear bag. This stand is twice as heavy as my 2 ultimate stands and won’t even fit in my gear bag. Good solid stand for studio. Absolutely terrible road stand.Sean C

Good product works great for all different shape guitarsmwwgolf
I play V shaped and other untraditional shaped guitars. Most stands will not accommodate my guitars. This stand is perfect for the stage or just jamming at home. Holds the guitars securely with very little worry of knocking them off. Easy to do guitar changes on stage, takes up very little space.John
Stand is just OK…It's cheap, it will hold two guitars, height is adjustable. However it is VERY easy to tip over when you take one guitar off the stand. Also the plastic latch gates become detached during use. So, it is OK for my music room but useless for gigging. Spend your money wisely and get a Hercules stand.dmoisson123

There should be no confusion on this oneDavid L.
I've had an older one of these for awhile now and it tends to pitch a solid body guitar forward out of the stand. If you tie it in with the retainers it will work but, when they wear out, (and they do) you are left with finding an alternative means of keeping the guitar in the stand. It will dump your guitar on floor if you are not careful. I have not tried the latest version of this stand but it is something to look at before buying.Joe Jr.

Product Details:
Our gs7462db professional a-frame double guitar stand holds two guitars in a compact footprint. the main yoke is stepped to form two sections that can securely hold the depth of an electric, acoustic, or bass guitar. plus, it's strong enough to hold the weight of desktop mixers and combo amps. there is also an extra yoke for holding a second (electric) guitar no need for an additional guitar stand. the tilt-back stance keeps the guitars from tipping forward or falling. a wide, splayed base and nonslip feet provide stability and balance for dependable instrument support. padding on the yoke and backrest protects the guitar finishes. conveniently, there are no parts to keep track of due to its one-piece construction. for efficient storage and transportation, the stand folds flat and multiple stands can nest together.
Reviews:
I ordered this stand to hold both my acoustic and electric at home. While it doesn't support or secure the neck of guitars, I feel that my guitars are pretty stable in the stand. I'm sure that neck support would increase the stability, but when buying this stand it is clear that it does not provide neck support, so if you want a stand that secures the neck of your guitars, you should look at another stand. If someone bumped into the side of a guitar in this stand, it might be possible for it to be knocked off sideways. However, the surfaces the guitars touch are padded and provide a certain level of grip. Thus, if someone bumps into your guitars in this stand hard enough to knock them out it would still be cringe worthy whether it secured their necks or not. My only real complaint is that taking a guitar out of or putting it into the rear stand takes a bit of effort to make sure you don't bang it on back side of the middle divider (in other words, the front side of the back section). Not a big deal, but noteworthy none the less. I only use it at home, but the stand is light weight and compacts nicely, making it seemingly easy to transport. It is also priced well and does the job. I would buy it again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. However, with any stand, you and whoever is around your guitars should still be careful and use common sense. If you want a bit of added security (or at least piece of mind) it might be worth opting for a stand that secures the necks of your guitars, or if you have rowdy kids, friends, or band mates you are afraid will knock into your stand. Ick
If you are a multi-instrumentalist, then this may be your stand. It will hold two instruments securely and has a solid A-frame design, so none of the unstable multi-part stands with the bottom parts falling out. The stand will hold an acoustic guitar and an electric guitar, two electrics, or an electric guitar and a bass, for example. I do sometimes have issues with the angle of the neck of the front guitar vs. the back guitar, but with a little experimentation it's not a problem. Great for gigs and for a home studio, since it's got such a small footprint.Paisley69
I use this stand every week with zero issues. For me, it holds only electric guitars. It usually holds a Tele in front and a Strat in back but occasionally I use a Guild Starfire hollow body that, due to the neck tilt, sits in the back with no issues. I believe that it will still fit on the front with the Strat/Tele on the back and still not have any issues but the Guild is usually a backup so on the back it goes. Obviously you have to be careful putting any guitar on the back part due to the design but all the corners are padded and there's foam in all the right places so it's not a big deal. I did have to adjust the angle of the back brackets initially (carefully pulling them further out) but once done, it stays put and I haven't had any problems. Nice foam and rubber feet. Very rugged. After probably 50+ gigs this last year, the rubber feet are still on which is a plus for me.Chuck

Reviews:
I favor the folding stand rack but the only problem is stage space. If you play 2 basses or guitars this is a very good alternative… It was ranked one of the 5 best stands on one of the sites for 2017. For the price it is an excellent deal. It will do the job. I mean you can't stand on it or put heavy equipment such as amps or cabinets on top. But it will last you if taken care of. For the price its a great deal. Its not a Hercules, and even that the holders didn't clamp after time.jazzmatic_7

Reviews:
Bought 2 of these when they were the Stupid Deal of the Day. I figured even if they were a little flimsy, they would do an adequate job of holding three guitars in my studio or living room, or maybe even serve for a gig. I am very disappointed in this product. As stated in other customer reviews, no matter what guitars you put on the stands, the headstocks will touch. There is no simple adjustment you can make to the stand to avoid this. If you have the right sized guitars, you may be able to angle them just so to avoid touching, but this level of thought should not be necessary for such a critical piece of kit. It's clunky, poorly designed, and wobbly: the little rubber arm that prevents your guitar from falling out is, sadly, a necessary precaution when leaving your guitar in the stand. At this price point (yes, I mean cheap), I guess it's meant to be disposable. I recommend spending more and getting a Hercules or something more reliable and worthy of your instruments. This last recommendation should also be applied when considering the purchase of any Musician's Gear product.Chordtone
I purchased one of these previously and it was fine. My second unit had the vertical bar mounted to the base so crooked that would nearly fall over backward when a guitar was placed on it. Customer service was super friendly and helpful and sent me another unit at no cost. Unfortunately the replacement was almost as bad, with the vertical bar now leaning to the left. At this point I just gave up. Some say "you get what you pay for" but I would expect any item sold to at the very least fulfill it's primary function to some degree, but these don't. Again, Musicians Friend has good customer service, but this stand is not usable.Clint
Once setting this up out of the box, an issue was obvious. Apparently when this was constructed and welded/soldered at the factory, the connection of the vertical section to the tripod base was done so crookedly, and leaning to one side. there was no way to correct this as it's either soldered or welded at the bottom section, and I wouldn't trust a guitar on this stand. This was a few bucks cheaper than the Chromecast brand so I thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately even at $10, it was a waste of time needing to process a return/refund. See attacded photos.UnsatisifitedCustomer

Reviews:
I like this stand more than the regular floor stand because this does not put any pressure on my plugs and cords. The bottom of the guitar doesn't touch the stand. The large footprint adds stability, which is great, but it takes up a whole bunch of floor space! My only real concern about this stand is how durable the padding on the neck support is; will it last very long? It seems a bit thin, and moves around when I place my bass in it. The support itself is sturdy and will hold the instrument with no problems. Overall, I am happy with this stand and will be using it as my primary since I do have the space for it.Craig O.
I picked these up from a DotD specifically for a Fender Meteora style guitar, which won't sit so nicely in regular stands due to its shape. I also wanted a good yoke, as a few of my super cheap stands had hard, protruding bits that left small dents in one of my guitar necks. This satisfied both needs. That said, you're likely weighing between a Hercules and this Fender stand. I'd say spend a little more and pick up the Hercs on a DotD. I picked a pair of Hercs up on a later DotD, and the clutch is much, much better on the Herc than the Fender's simple lever. The Herc has indentations in the support that allows the clutch to lock. The Fender is fine for lighter guitars, but can loosen up and drop if too much downward force is put on the yoke support. I had this happen once so far, and have moved my heavier guitars to the Hercs. I would not recommend this for a heavy bass guitar. All of that said! It's a nice stand, and does its job. I don't regret picking it up.Diffracted
I have similar stands from another company which are a slightly different design. The other stands are slightly more compact, since the yoke folds over the top of stand and lays flat against the rise shaft. That is the ONLY thing better about the other stands. The other stands were more expensive, have just as much plastic in the manufacturing, and were less stable due the fold-down locking leg design. Worst of all the other stands have the awful "locking" yoke, which folds tabs down on either side of the neck/headstock joint, at least until they break (which one of mine has). I don't understand the need for this locking yoke device. If the stand gets knocked hard enough to tip, as soon as the body of the guitar hits the floor, the yoke is going to release anyway and the guitar is going to fall out of it, right? Maybe I'm not seeing the purpose of that yoke, but it just seems like another point of failure to me. These Fender stands were an incredible bargain on the SDOTD. I wish I could fold them a little smaller for transport, but that would probably undermine the great stability they have, so I'll accept the very slight lack of portability in favor of the security and confidence they give. The yoke is stationary, welded to the rise shaft. It's slightly narrow, so I have to start the guitar into the yoke at an angle, then rotate it into position. This just adds to the stability, so no big deal once you get in the habit. If you try to pull the guitar straight out of the stand, it will pull the stand toward you along with the guitar. Once again, not a big deal if you simply remember to twist-then-pull. The only other issue may be the base mechanism's screw/handle, which holds the legs in the spread position. The screw is threaded through the red plastic piece which holds the legs. Only time will tell if this design will hold up to regular use, and is my only real concern with these stands. Not worthy of a star deduction yet, but we'll see…Steve-O

Reviews:
I ordered one, liked it so much, I ordered two more. For my needs this worked perfectly for my classical, as well as my 12-string and 6-striing acoustic guitars. I like the weight and the balance of this stand. The padding that touches the instrument surface, I feel, is quite adequate. Had also hoped to "kill two birds" by using one as a tabletop music holder; it seems to do the job, in my case only by placing a ruler along either the top front of the stand (behind the book), and possibly other methods I haven't tried yet. Am used to standard guitar stands, so if I had small kids or pets of concern I Might be a little more cautious with type of stand, though, as with any free-standing instrument.Pat
Not the best stand I have, but for the low cost, you simply can't beat it. The build quality is excellent, and the welds (a common quality concern) are exceptional on this product. I've used this for stage and home use, and it's very solid. In fact it's sturdy enough to hold a five and four string jazz bass at the same time. This makes for an incredibly small footprint on small stages or tight rehearsal spaces. It folds for storage, with the only issue being the arms that hold the guitars don't fold, or cannot be taken off for even a smaller load. Regardless, this stand is such a deal for the price, it's hard to find any flaws. Due to space, this is the only stand I'm using at my home right now, and it's holding a 1400.00 bass. That is reason enough to buy itjamesbaghr

Great Value. Gets the job done for cheap. I don't know why the other person is having issues with the rubber safety strap, Mine work fine. No issues at all. Great product for a great price. Excellent VALUE. I highly recommend it. I bought 6 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For all of my guitars. 😀2001coolmaro
These are budget music stands and you get what you pay for. They work fine, but the metal work is poor quality (jagged part that sticks out on the back, difficult to get the supporting piece through the vertical piece). The biggest concern is the flimsy box this was sent in. Three boxes that weren't meant for shipping were taped together and smashed in transit, so two of the six knobs were missing on arrival and the seller isn't responding to my refund request.Joe

I really like it. I wish I had bought the 5 guitar stand instead.tmikeh1961
I didn't expect when I bought this guitar rack that it would be as sturdy and solid as it turned out to be. I like that its profile is unobtrusive; what you see when you look at it is the guitars, not the rack. The ability to fold up the base is a nice feature too in case you want to take it to a gig. I'm on the verge of repurchasing.15821ned
The four bottom screws were not long enough. went to hardware store to purchase correct size screws.rambob101
