Reviews:
Delivers six different ways to color tone in a single box, for a rock-bottom price. You can use one at at time, which is really no drawback– just buy another one of these if you want to chain them. Experienced pedal users may have effects that are superior. But I'm a low-rent guy in a high-stress world, with no prior experience in pedals or tone shaping, and for me this is a gem. Instant therapy. A lot of fun, finding sounds that I've heard on songs and always wondered how people made them. I don't find it to be very noisy at the volumes employed in my apartment (duh), and a noise gate in my chain makes it virtually silent. The build quality is not an issue for me, at least so far. I won't be abusing it, and for the price, if I somehow manage to break the case… it's not a tragedy. It's a cool box for people like me who want inexpensive access to the world of effects. I think it would satisfy more critical users as well.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
You get what you pay for. This pedal is fun to experiment with. Some effects are really good, others are not. The Flanger needs a high-cut filter. The Phaser is kinda weak and it sucks your tone. The chorus is really good. The delay would be really good, but it won't go slow enough for me. So I don't see myself using it. I don't like the Tremolo effect, but it seems to work fine in this pedal. The Pitch Shifter was my favorite effect in this pedal. It is sensitive to adjustments, but once I had it carefully dialed-in, it sounded great. The Level knob works great. It seems to blend the original signal with the selected effect nicely, without dropping the volume or sucking your tone. I use this pedal in the effects-loop of my amp head. The two parameter knobs seem to have a pretty big range. They go from subtle, to really wild. It takes some time to carefully adjust them to get the sound you are looking for. The knobs feel stiff when you turn them, which is nice. They will stay where you set them. Construction is plastic, so this pedal is not too durable, but it will be fine for home use. Overall, this pedal is great for the price. It has plenty of use-able sounds in it, but some of the effects are not perfect. This pedal would be great for new players, because it allows them to experiment with different effects to see what they like, and it doesn't cost much. I use a 1-spot power adapter with it, which works great.
This is a very good unit for it's price. I purchased it for my "little" amp when I go to friends place's to jam. My "big" amp has the same effects in it & are better. However, it does do the job I purchased it for. It is well made in China under German supervision. The Germans don't do rubbish products & that's what made me check it out. I'm not complaining about it at all, this is one of those "horses for courses" items. I have another pedal that does what this one does & more but it cost three times what this did. I'd recommend this to anyone that wants those effects but doesn't want to pay close to $200. My last remark is "you can't beat it for the price"Roger R.

Reviews:
Sturdy unit full of good quality effects. This is the first "cheap" unit that has impressed me with its pre amps. It even manages a passable vox sound that others at this price point fail to achieve. My favourite things about this unit are as follows : 1. The amount of usable presets out the box. Even the more whacky ones can generally be quickly tweaked into something usable. Other brands tend to fill their presets with ridiculous over the top high gain, and what I would call low budget sci-fi sound effects. Boss have done a good job with the GT1. 2. Ease of editing. While you can access the effects chain easily through the menu system, the buttons along the top physically represent a typical effects chain. Press and hold for a second on any one and you are straight into the effect behind it for easy editing or changing to a different effect. Negatives: lack of an on/off switch. It switches on by plugging in an instrument cable – minor annoyance but that's just me. Only other thing is no battery indicator, and I seriously doubt the 7hr battery life claim. The supplied ones died after about 2-3 hrs and the duracells I replaced them with haven't fared much better. I do have a power supply but wanted to see how the battery's would hold up if I had to do a gig on them. Probably wouldn't trust them and would carry two sets as backup rather than one.David B.
This is overall a great pedal. This will give you a wide variety of tones and effects that you can personalize for whatever music you play. Other pedals will offer maybe one tone and you may have to try different ones and might not be happy with them or have to buy multiple ones and spend lots of money to have a well set up pedal board. You can literally spend all day picking out distortion pedals and feel lost on where to go. With this you can go through a wide variety and set it up however you want and save the settings. This isn't some plug and play kinda pedal. You will need to spend time with it and get to know it. It is kinda confusing and there are YouTube videos that help as well. I got more e set up with a clean tone and then a click over to distortion and and anther click on and of for a wha effectErik
The sounds are decent for the price. I downloaded all three pdfs are they are basically useless when it comes to setting up patches, adding an external pedal and the overall operation. I gave up on trying to assign functions to the FS-6 I bought with it. There are no real explications how to use the 6 assignment functions. I think the headphone output is mono as I can only hear in one ear. You can get some decent patches off of tone exchange I'll probably sell it .Kenneth

This is my first chorus pedal. I like the sound and it does what it needs to do. I own several Behringer pedals, and although they are plastic, I never had any quality issues with them. Never felt I needed to be extra careful with them either. I'm mainly using them at home, so they don't need to be build like a tank.
I have heard this Stereo Chorus in action. I wanted one for my own! Back-ordered.?.?.? Wait 3 months?.?.?. ok… I'll wait. It just came in and I have spent 2 glorious weeks finding out what it can do. With one amp (a Peavey Backstage Plus, 10", 35 watts) it sounds pretty good. Not quite as good as my Fender Princeton, 2X10" stereo chorus (I put in a baffle plate to help sonically isolate the 2 speakers…) Played stereo into 2 amps, Crate 35 watts, about 15 feet apart, feeding each one from the stereo outputs, it sounds lush, dreamy, swirly, and full of character. I mostly play ballads and love songs, nylon fingerstyle (think: Love Me Tender, In My life, Morning has Broken.. Side by Side, etc) This stereo chorus, on slow/moderate settings, is perfect to enhance a romantic feeling, without getting syrupy or seasick…. It was definitely worth the wait!!guitarpicker7
Don't buy this pedal. It's cheap, yes, but the quality is no good. First of all, it's made out of plastic. But there are bigger issues. With either of my Fendor Stratocasters, the thing distorts if I run standard-level sound through it. It's very distorted when the chorus is enabled. But even worse, only one of the two output channels actually has the chorus effect. The other output channel is a clean passthrough. The Level control is not stereo, so it only attenuates the output of the channel which has chorus, leaving the other channel at clean-passthrough level. Over-all, this thing is a piece of junk. It's not worth buying, at any price. If you own one, the best thing you can do is try to pawn it, or pitch it into the trashcan. You're much better off with something from Boss or Digitech. You can't buy cheap and expect to have good quality — you'll just end up wasting your money and your time. Life's too short. Just say "no".Ron

I preordered this on AMS without, obviously, trying it out. I had only seen some clips from NAMM, etc. I wanted a ‘noisemaker’ more than anything…a little secret weapon with another flavor on my board. It’s a lot of fun so far. It mentions that it’s not intended for chords like several times in the manual. But honestly, that’s where it gets cool & weird. Like, seriously science fiction stuff. Try it with an expression pedal! I have one for my EQD Avalanche Run so I tried it out on the Mono Synth for kicks and it opened up a whole new level. This pedal is not for everyone but it’s definitely worth checking out.suede
An excellent pedal. Cool synth sounds with a reasonable amount of variation for each. Not perfect. Being monophonic, some of the sounds require you to be very deliberate when playing as even a slight slurring of notes can cause the pedal to have a little mental breakdown. Overall excellent. Would recommend.Michael
A brilliant pedal that adds so many options to your palette as a guitar player. Great that you can dial in authentic synth sounds (especially if you don't want to buy/soundcheck a synth just for a certain riffs) and loads of possibilities once it interacts with overdrives and fuzz.Steven K.

Reviews:
I am a dobro and lap steel player. I got this because I wanted to be able to get dobro sounds out of my lap steel as well as other sounds. My first complaint is that the reso (dobro) sound in this pedal is absolutely nothing like a real dobro. I was terribly disappointed in the reso guitar model. I was also dissapointed in the pad sounds and the acoustic guitar models. The electric guitar models are not so bad to me and I could find good electric models to use. The alternate tuning comes in handy, but it does sacrifice some tone quality. As a multi-effects board I like many of it's features. The reverb and delay effects are more versatile than what I have previously had in multi-effect units, but i miss having a dedicated tap tempo and certain other dedicated footswitches. I can get a good sound out of this pedal, but I feel that for a multi-effects pedal there are other better options out there now. The acoustic guitar models still sound like an electric guitar being ran through an acoustic emulation pedal. In other words they don't sound enough like the real thing to me.Chris
Overall: Though yes it does have it's limitations you have to be realistic and work with it. It's a fantastic do it all unit for those that need a little of a lot. If you are expecting a 400 dollar unit to be as good or better than something that costs 1000 bucks then the issue isn't with the unit it's the end user. When properly set up this thing is HUGE bang for the buck. Great guitar tones, alternate tunings, acoustic sims that are outstanding if eq'd right and plenty of user created patches that will get you going. There is absolutely nothing to this day that does EVERYTHING this unit can do for this price and thats why BOSS still sells it. I just bought it for the 2nd time because I traded mine off looking for something to replace it. Dumb move on my part and I won't be trading this one away until someone comes out with something that can do everything this thing does for under 500 bucks. My one gripe with the unit is that BOSS stopped updating the firmware for it. If they are going to sell a product they should keep it updated. There are things they could still improve with better firmware. Also BTS can be flaky at times.Robert
Really great product. Kind of dated but still useful for long to come. There's a lot of cool internal features but I love connecting it to my daw most. Sending each individual string as a separate audio input I can process each string separately. The midi tracking internally is okish. But sending the audio to my daw and using a pitch to midi converter there makes it amazing. Im using migic and loading 6 instances of it. Only issue is the drivers aren't being updated. But if you are up to run Linux it's supported or you can use an older os.Anthony
6. Korg Miku Stomp Vocaloid Guitar Effects Pedal
Product Details:
The korg miku stomp is the famous vocoder/sampler that a lets your guitar sing like the virtual pop star, hatsune miku. it's not for shredders. it tracks slowly, at vocal speed, and you can't put a wah, fuzz or other modulation in front of it. it likes a clean tone, low to medium output pups, like a strat. it's designed to play vocal lines and melodies on, not shredding or chords, using vocal samples triggered by your guitar, or other input device like a keyboard etc. it's not a typical guitar effect, but it's a ton of fun. this unit is in very good condition, just a couple of minor scratches on the sides of the box, form being used my my pedalboard. only used at home, in my studio, no cigarette smoke, spilt booze of cat fur. comes with original box and all box candy, users manual etc. takes a standard (v centre-negative power supply, low current draw, or 2 x aa batteries.

Outstanding pedal. I think it's the same one Hendrix used at Woodstock, such a classic sound. After many years I have finally completed my search for the perfect tone. Don't understand the people saying it has no practical purpose! Takes all sorts I guess..Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
This pedal is not for everyone but I suggest listening to some demos, If you like totally unique and different sounds, this pedal is it! If you ever wanted your guitar to sing in Japanese, well look no further. I fell in love with the MIKU STOMP the first time I heard it.how_man2010

Reviews:
How odd. This review was flagged for writing Big Mu** using the two F's 🙂 For the money, this is a really hard pedal to beat. It goes from mild and laid-back to wild and intense. The controls feel great…like as in excellent quality. This is a reissue of the original Big Mu** PI. I tried a Big Mu** PI with Wicker and forget about it. It hissed so loud in Wicker mode that I couldn't even here myself think and it got even worse with the tone switch off. And even in the so-called Big Mu** PI mode, it didn't sound anywhere near as good as this Rams Head does. And, the Rams Head is quiet compared to the BM PI with Wicker. One more thing, The BM PI with Wicker does not say anywhere on it nor in the included paperwork where it's made, whereas the RH BM PI clearly says New York City on the face of it…Vincent
The tone sweep is nice and there are some interesting spots because it is linear while kind of non-linear at 10 to noon and about 1-2 on tone control. I can't say why but usually I had purchased like more expensive versions of ehx pedals. That being said, I think people need to realize that these are quite accurate reissues and circuits, and just because it is an affordable pedal doesn't mean it isn't great.
Overall: Floats like a stone and stings like a nest of angry hornets! This box has the buzzsaw sound down pat. The fuzz is a thick, smooth, and consistent. I like this kind of fuzz in particular because it’s less fuzzy and little more distortion-like. The Tone knob has a really wide sweep from boomy bass to mid-range Hades. It has plenty of gain on tap and even sounds pretty good with the guitar’s volume rolled back a skosh.I’ve never used the original Green Russian Muff and have only heard them compared through videos online, so I can’t speak as to how they’re different/alike. I got it because I didn’t want to haul my vintage Black Russian Muff around from gig to gig anymore because it’s getting valuable and since it was a pretty jenky design to begin with, it’s liable to break with heavy use. That being said, the reissue Green Russian Muff has a different sound than an original V8 Black Russian Muff. It doesn’t sound as good to me, but it’s not so different that I wouldn’t use the Green Russian live in lieu of the Black Russian for the aforementioned reasons. One huge plus for the Green Russian is its pedalboard friendly size. The Black Russian is the size of an 80s metal lunchbox and took up an awkward sized chunk of the pedalboard. Now there’s more room for other unnecessary boxes (gulp)! One noteworthy ding for this pedal is how difficult it is to see the script on the top of the pedal. The words are printed right underneath the knobs, so if it’s kinda dark (which it usually is) and the lights are all in front of you (which they usually are) the words are impossible to see. Overall it’s a nice fuzz especially for the price. It’s noisy, but once the music gets rolling you won’t even notice it.Brad

Reviews:
Overall: Whether you're trying to dial in a wet surf rock reverb or an ambient shoegaze tone with lots of atmosphere, this pedal can do it all. This is hands down the best pedal I've ever purchased and far surpasses any other reverb pedal I've heard. You can even tweaked it to make it sound like a proper spring reverb unit on an old fender amp. There's also a handy shimmer effect you can use to get some angelic and synth-like tones, which can sound monolithic accompanied with a fuzz. I'd recommend this pedal for any style of playing, as it's one of the most versatile ones on the market right now. Also since it's Boss it's built like an absolute tank. Need quality slap back, surf, or shoegaze type reverb? This is the unit for you.Alex
I use a few different brands of pedals and Boss makes solid pedals. This rv6 pedal makes a great variety of reverbs that sound very good with cleans, on every setting. I play with a few different distortions. It is very difficult to dial in a good reverb sound with too much distortion. The level setting has to be low and the sensitivity of the effects are boosted and that makes it very hard to easily swap from clean to dirty without major changes. Dirty will require serious tweaking. I would give it a 3 star because it's not friendly to dirty, but I'll give it 4 stars just because the cleans really do sound great and the variety and quality of sounds are in a price range well below many other reverbs of this caliber. It's a BOSS, a tank. I did mess with the shimmer with crunch and low level and found some decent sounds.Ghostpuncher
I got this as a catch-all reverb to round out a basic pedal board I use for home practice and hobby recording. First off, all the "usual suspect" reverb tones sound really great in the effects loop of my Bogner Atma combo. I had read reviews of the RV6 where it had been criticized for sounding digital/grainy, but I preferred it over the Oceans and HOF2 I compared it to. I classify myself as a somewhat fussy "toan snob" who still prefers tubes and analog, so I wonder if maybe that "digital/grainy" complaint was with it going straight in, out in front of the preamp. I'll have to get around to trying it like an outboard spring verb sometime. I really dig the shimmer verb, especially with a flanged, overdriven lead tone. I need to get an expression pedal now and play around with oscillating that! Last thing I want to compliment is the helpful buffer the Boss adds at the tail end of my board. I pretty much have no loss now. Kudos to Boss for yet another solid product!Lee B.

Reviews:
Really loving this, getting back to playing after about 20 years away, got this multi effects pedal and I’m playing every day, plenty amp sims and effects to play with, got about 5 favourites already, not played about enough with the blank slots so can’t say too much about that. Drum beats are good for jamming along with and keepin time. Love the looper, really cool for dual parts ( I play a lot of iron maiden) and for noodling over your own backing track. Went for this one with the expression pedal, not using it much but that’s probably my style more than anything, it works. I’m using a standard mini usb to power, not tried recording yet, busy playing and having fun. Using headphones mostly, sounds great, put it through my 30 year old Marshall when I get the chance, sounds awesome. Bottom line, I’m just messing about in the spare room, having fun. Not a performer or gigging or anything. This has everything I need/want and the rest. Price is pretty good for what your getting. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to try some different sounds and just have fun.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
Should actually get a refund on this. Seemed like a good product but tried to connect with Guitar Lab to add effects. I got connected, added a couple of FX but lost some factory effects that were pretty good (Comp). Then, tried to connect again to get these back but can't connect anymore. Tried 2 computers as well, many times. Anyway, the box is stuck with FX it has now so, not good. Poor product if you can't get it to function properly.Zoom Man
It works well, covers a lot of different effects (including amps and cabinets), and the user interface is pretty easy to learn. There are some limitations in its capabilities (for instance, there's little memory available to add effects unless you uninstall some of the defaults, and some combinations of effects can't be used because it doesn't have enough processing power), but at this price you have to expect that. One thing they could improve without adding cost to the device is the documentation; expect to use your favourite search engine a lot while figuring this thing out.Steve

Waited months for this to arrive and it was definitely worth the wait. I also have an Op Amp Big Muff and another budget fuzz pedal. I definitely prefer the sound of the Behringer. Setting the switch in between Fuzz 1 and Fuzz 2 gives you both settings in parallel and it sounds AMAZING. I have a few Behringer pedals. Some are good, some are not so good. This is definitely one of the good ones.
This pedal may be cheap, but it is one of the most flexible pedals ive seen. Fuzz 1 and Fuzz 2 are an octave style fuzz, Fuzz 1 being very dark and warm, whereas Fuzz 2 is shrill and cold, great for Electric Wizard style riffing. It doesnt have noise in ANY of the modes, even with the gain maxed, and it sounds completely identical to the Boss FZ-2 Hyperfuzz. Though i believe the best thing about this pedal is the boost mode. I personally use it with the bass dimed to 11, and it sounds amazing into the front of my valve amp, pushing the tubes exactly the way i want it. The ONLY downside is the fact that it is made out of plastic, which is why i didnt value the quality at 5 stars. For the price, this pedal is a must have. Just don't go stomping on it like your other metal-made pedals, and it will last you a long time.Samuel M.
Cons: The casing is plastic,so I'm not sure how gig-survivable it would be over time. Whoever came up with the procedure for changing the battery would make the Marquis de Sade weep with jealousy. Pros: It does a -perfect- facsimile of the crushing DOOM TONE Electric Wizard have on the 'Dopethrone' album; put a 7-string through this and watch your garden die. It does a bunch of other seriously fun fuzz sounds and is actually quite versatile, given the 3 modes it has, the range of the tone knobs and the sheer amount of fuzz available. While the casing feels cheap, the knobs are nice and solid. It's ridiculously cheap given how good the actual sound it produces is. Why are you still reading this…? BUY ONE!varghellhammer
12. Earthquaker Devices – Acapulco Gold Power Amp Distortion V2
Product Details:
Owned for 1 year. selling most of my gear to buy a local vintage guitar. below is the product description. with an upgraded silent switching system, version 2 of the earthquaker devices acapulco gold distortion pedal is better than ever. the acapulco gold v2 is like putting a vintage tube amp's master volume control on your pedalboard. it's based on the sound of a cranked sunn model t amplifier, and the single-knob control takes your tone from quieter to louder, covering a wide range of dirty tones that are very responsive to your guitar's volume and tone controls. most iconic amps are defined by their power amp section, and the earthquaker devices acapulco gold v2 puts that sonic intensity on your pedalboard.

Cool pedal. Probably not for everyone. It’s kinda niche, but it does what it was designed for exceptionally well.Greg
This thing is nuts. Dialed at 9 and stacked with a fuzz, you can get a really nice bassy growl. At between 9-12, it sounds like an amp pushed to the limit, and past that it's basically just pure Model T chaos. A niche overdrive/volume pedal that serves it's intended purpose very, very well.Zack
(Using it on bass) They were not kidding that this little box is loud! Anything past 12 o'clock and expect it to rumble your place. Love the tone it gives my bass, even around 9 o'clock it gives it a sweet sound and love to stack it with either my fuzz pedal or overdrive pedal and a spring reverb for a nice surf punk sound. For a single knob pedal, its one of the best for sure, if you love your music loud, this one is definitely for you!JUAN

i wanted to compare this to my boss hm-2 pedal but i can't get to it at this time, so i'll have to do this by itself. this is a very nice distortion pedal. again the plastic casing is durable and inexpensive ,so you're getting a good pedal for the money.the level and distortion controls are sensitive- i consider a plus. i do wish there was more bass in the in the low frequency control. now you might be asking, "why don't i cut back on the high frequency control?". here's why : the high frequency control appears to be a combination high frequency/gain control! the more you turn it up, the more gain. combined with the sensitive dist/level controls this is a nice feature if you want that. i like it . i can always boost the bass on the amp/EQ/whatever. i like to use different dimensions of distortions and if you are like me ,i recommend this.thurstonnalley
I guess I'm more of a roady/studio guy than I am an artist, as I've always got more out of turning knobs then actually playing music lol. I bought this pedal for one reason and one sound only. The Swedish "chainsaw" guitar tone of the 90's that came out of Sunlight Studios that was popularized by bands like Entombed and Dismembered. I think it sounds incredibly good considering I bought it NEW for 25 bones plus shipping! The distortion is sometimes a bit over the top, but cleans up when you roll back the volume knobs on the guitar. I imagine you could really get some interesting tones going if you paired this pedal with a compressor and eq both before and after it in the signal chain (and with Behringer that's actually an affordable option), and of course, a tube amp, as most of the bands with that sound supposedly used Peavey 5150 tube heads. Very nasty distortion pedal, if you could travel back in time to the 90's you could probably sell this to a metal head for absolutely ridiculous amounts of money. If you are not buying this pedal for a certain "Swedish death metal" sound or just metal in general, I would not recommend this pedal, as there are probably much better pedals out there for what you need. Its made out of plastic which I personally don't mind, as I'm not a touring or gigging musician. If I stomped on it several times a night for half a year I dunno how that would work out. Not a big fan of the color, but then again, I didn't buy this pedal for aesthetic value. Behringer makes great stuff for less, I plan on buying a lot more Behringer pedals in the future!James the studio guy
Just great wee pedals and such a great cheap price too. Best discount around at the moment as far as I could see.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.

Reviews:
First of all let me say I also have the G1ON and bought the G1X Four for the enhanced features and so I'd have one with the expression pedal. I sold all my tube amps when I was laid off, retired and moved to Mexico. My reference point is tweed and blackface era tube amps. I gotta say, once you learn how to dial in the tones you want, these little plastic boxes do a pretty decent job of amp and effects modeling. Like the G1ON, the G1X 4 does a good job of imitating the touch and volume control dynamics of a cranked tube amp at any volume. I really like the Deluxe Reverb, AC30 and DC30 simulations. The G1ON has more vintage style amp types to choose from, and in that regard it is more useful to e. Two kinds of spring reverb, one eats up a lot of memory but really sounds lush like an external unit along with the other types (room, plate, hall, church, etc.). Tremolo is built into the Fender models that have tremolo along with a couple of very configurable trems and rotating speaker effects. The G1 4 does NOT have the Z Organ effect the G1ON does, boo hoo. Beyond that, there are tons of effects to play with and they all sound good to my ears. I currently have 3 small amp setups. 1. Quilter 101 mini docked in their 10" BlockDock cab. 2. Quilter MicroBlock 45 pedal teamed with a 5E3 pine cab with a Emi Legend 12" and 3. an old Carvin SX50 1×12". I can get all three do to do the Deluxe Reverb,Vox AC15/30, E and F series Tweed tones that don't make me miss my tube amps. Wish I would have had the G1ON and the 17.7lb Quilter 1×10" combo back when I was in a blues band and gigging. Interface improvements from the G1ON… Improved display allows for more descriptive/longer patch names. Four pots act as master vol, bass, middle, treble during performance mode for global tone and volume tweeking. The four pots also make adjusting settings easier. To sum up, very cool pedal for under a hundred..Tomcat
For several years now, my pedalboard has had only ONE guitar "FX" pedal. First it was the G1Xon. Now it's the G1Xfour. I play both acoustic AND electric thru the pedal, and they BOTH sound great! Though I've played for over 40 years, I'm not a professional musician and rarely play out; but I do play a lot at home and IMO this is the best VALUE "name brand" guitar multi-FX pedal on the market. It's super affordable, very easy to use, sounds terrific, and is a total blast to play. In fact, this is the FIRST of TWO guitar pedals I recommend for every novice guitarist. Checkout my video links below for a quick start on G1Xfour pedal, and why it's one of the two first pedals I recommend. The Image Doctor
I can't speak to it's use in a live setting , that's not what I bought this for but to have at home to record whether bedroom music or demos it's perfect. The effects are great they're easy to use, the older Zoom models were a bit laborious to set up and get sounding right but this has enough knobs to feel like you are just setting up any stand alone pedal. The distortions, the delays, reverbs etc are all good but it's the amp modelling and the EQ options that make it a great little tool to work with. No amp or no room for one in your apartment where your neighbours will pound the walls if you so much as sneeze too loud? No problem !!! this little guy's got you covered. A little tinkering and your demos sound better, a little more and you can get a reasonably good sound for home recordings. The looper is great, its easy to use. The tuner is good. What's not to love ? Plug this into your computer or your four-track or whatever recording devise you've got on with the earphones and you have a decent sounding pedal board and amp which takes up as much space as a box of chocolates. No one will be any the wiser. I'm sure I sound like an absolute shill for Zoom. I don't care I have a bunch of their gear and I love it all. Is it built to survive the apocalypse? No. Most of the stuff I own is plastic. Is it as warm and distinctive as Electro-harmonix or Boss ? No, but it's cheap and it's solid and it works. Is it going to sound perfect through your huge amp? I don't know but it's probably not the point. Me – I make music at home with cheap gear because I have no money or space. Zoom are a gift to home recorders everywhere. And thanks to everyone at DV247 as well. Very helpful during a difficult time to get products shipped efficiently.

This is the amazing Boss DS-1 distortion pedal, loved by all who use it. Amazing value at just £55. I won't bore you with stories about how robust it is, because we all know Boss equipment lasts forever. It looks and feels great, but most importantly, sounds incredible. I play punk rock, and with my Gibson SG Special, plugged into my Marshall JCM 900 this delivers exactly the sound I want. I loved that in the manual it gives example sound setting, one of which was British Punk. That just made me smile. I knew instantly it was right up my street. Oh, and if you're into electronics, this thing is made of pin-through-hole components, so it leaves it open for a good bit of modding. There are plenty of guides for that online. Sitting in my Boss BCB-30 pedal board this never fails to make me smile.Thomas B.
Now I don't hate it, but Its not my first go to pedal. I like the more modern BOSS "Metal Core". It is however like all BOSS PEDALS built like a tank, extremely reliable and a great first pedal. For the money, this is a super value. I found that I like it for "Gain Stacking" in combination with the BOSS MD-2"Mega Distortion" and a few other pedals. Even two DS-1 DISTORTION together improve the performance to me. Overall it's not terrible and I see were for some it could really be a price but I lean towards Heavy… Heavy Metal and for that it's more a corvette when you need a Lamborghini. Do I hate it, NO… I actually own two of them.kt.precisio-7
I have a 60w Fender Deville amp. Lovely clean sounds straight from the amp but couldn't really use the overdrive channel without the volume getting to an inconsiderate level at home. This pedal has addressed that issue really well. This pedal now provides me really raunchy distortion while providing a greater control for volume. The pedal also provides a nice boost in changing between a clean channel directly from the amp and then through the pedal. Very pleased with this investment, particularly for the price. Very easy to use.Gregory H.
16. Mooer Ge300 -Effects Pedal Multi
Product Details:
This is a very intuitive and great sounding unit with excellent reviews. feature-rich with plenty of effects as well as a 30 minute(!) looper and synthesizer. cosmetically it's in quite nice shape with home studio use only. after the latest firmware was installed, for some reason the backlight on the display will sometimes flicker. it's always legible and everything works like it should. maybe just a simple software bug, though as stated perfectly usable/readable at all times. original power included with a repair on the cord as shown. overall an excellent user piece.

I love it. Great product.poject
After loads of research, I finally found the floor effects board for me. Great sounds and effects.Steve S.

Fantastic delay and reverb sounds for a very reasonable price. NUX are making some great pedals these days and this one is up there. The algorithms used for the pedal are crystal clear and not digital sounding meaning you get a very natural rendition of the effects. Definitely worth checking out if you dont want to spend big bucks on the boutique style pedals and punches way above its weight. Highly recommendedpaba_7157
The NUX Atlantic is a surprisingly great pedal! Solid build quality, great sound, and awesome routing options. I personally love the 60’s style tape delay and the fact that it has “smart tap” is great in gig settings, just tap in the tempo no need to hold! I also really love the reverbs on here, they’re done surprisingly well and have freeze/shimmer function. Amazing. Lastly the routing options are stellar. You can run a stereo or mono out in parallel mode or in series (in which you can set the effect that comes first). I mainly play R&B/fusion along with multiple other styles and this thing is very versatile. Will be a mainstay on my board!EZRAKH
I've tried many dual Delay-Reverb pedals and this is certainly among the best and is a better value than any of them. Great tones with just enough options and parameters to quickly dial in the sounds you want. The Smart Tap feature works perfectly – why don't more pedals work that way. Like most NuX pedals, there are tons of features here including the ability to select which effect is first in series, whether they run in parallel or series, line or guitar pedal level switch, USB connection for Firmware upgrades. Using the two effects in the parallel mode is exactly what I needed. This sounds clear and great either in the front of an amp or in the effects loop. A lot of units are either dull or overload when in the effects loop – and the Atlantic has none of those issues. Watch videos of the power users for this to learn all the great features and sounds it creates. Finally: NuX has great firmware support for their pedals. Don't overlook that feature. In a lot of cases, NuX will roll out many additional features over time and it's free to update your pedal. Who else does that for gear in this price range?! I highly recommend the Atlantic pedal.Rob
