Bc Rich Electric Guitar For Sale (2023 Update)

So there are people out there who think BC Rich sold out with this Stranger Things themed release. Whether that is true or not it doesn't take away from the fact that this is a great quality guitar. The neck is the high point for me. This is the best bolt on neck I've ever played. I would say it's better than a actual 85 Stealth NJ series neck that I own. Frets are silky smooth, not sharp at all. The paint overall is great and I don't see any imperfections. Could the crackle be better? Yes… is it bad? No. If you want a better crackle buy the run of 200. Only complaints are that the pictures were advertised with a run of 200 and now it's 2000. Takes away from the collector value. The electronics are horrible. But that was to be expected, the Floyd rose is cheap. The pros outweigh the bad which isn't a big deal. Great 80s themed guitar. Also the gig bag it came with is really nice.. Worth the buy.Nick

This thing is killer. Fantastic attention to detail. Even if you are not into Stranger Things it is still well worth the money. The Red Crackle finish is awesome and there were only 1000 made with (the other 1000 are the black finish). Also comes with a very nice B.C Rich gig bag which fits it perfectly. Dont bother spending 5K on the Custom Shop version as this will be the one to have.Kevin

Excellent quality! Neck and frets are perfect, pickups sound great clean or high gain, and quality control is on point! No neck dive or anything either! Oh, and can't forget how awesome the crackle finish is!!!! I personally like this better than my old 87' USA BCR gunslinger. My only complaint is it was advertised to come with a FR 1000 and came with a special. They've since fixed this and the bridge works great either way. This guitar is a game changer for this company! Get it while you can!!!!!Josh

Poor build quality. Finish was missing around neck and there were a couple glue spots. The knob was wobbly and obviously not installed properly. Cyan blue did not look like the photos. Looked more washed out. Still nice but definitely different from photos.Jose C

I had an 80s stealth and a mid 90s bich. This is a solid guitar. Playable out of the box. I did swap to 10s, intonation. My only issues are the kill switch is just ok and the body not being contoured for the picking forearm. Beautiful guitar. I even like the abalone. This guitar outshines and outplays my premium Ibby. The neck is very comfortable. You can really the difference in quality vs other guitars in its price range. I'm still getting used to the Fishman pups but they sound very balanced and articulate. I was worried about these comeback guitars but I'm very happy with what I got. I know the tops vary in pattern but again, I'm happy with what I got. It's a bit smaller than I expected. The shape is brutal. A case would have been nice. Im using a standard strat style case. I took a chance ordering it from GC blindly. No issues. It really was playable right out of the box.Ghostpuncher

This thing is gorgeous! Everything about this guitar looks fantastic. The pickups are hot and sound killer! The neck is little wider and chunkier than I was expecting but it feels pretty good. The smooth satin finish on the back of the neck is a nice touch. I would give it 5 stars but it had two issues. One of the volume pots was having a problem and there is a small rough spot along the bottom of the neck. Other than that it's an awesome guitar!Jeff

I haven't played in twenty years and wanted something that I could practice and grow with. The string were busted from shipping and I had to set the guitar up from scratch. All the tools were included except wire cutters and screwdriver (obviously). Easy access to the tension springs. The locking mechanism for the strings, the tuners, and action adjustments were quality. Tuning this Floyd Rose floating bridge was a tad bit hard, but the bridge itself seems good. Got it all set up and tuned, locked down the lock brackets which seem solid. I had to take thirty minutes to admire the cherry stain, the amazing Shredzilla monster inlay and Shredzilla inlay claws on the rest of the fretboard. There is an inlay around the edges of the body, neck, and headstock (carbon binding?), it's amazing. I see what is referred to as satin finish on neck, feels great compared to gloss on other guitars I've tried. Then the fun begins, plugged this monster into my interface, modulated through my DAW with Bias FX2 plugin, cranked the monitors, and started SHREDDING. Holeee faliiip!! This thing makes me feel like I know how to play! Very smooth, I must have gotten lucky on setting up the action, the pups are amazing too. Its set up F#, B, standard tuning. The F#, tried A also, isn't muddy at all. The Floyd Rose is a dream. I have been jamming a hardcore 8 to 10 hours a day because this guitar is so fun. I've only had to barely tune the F# slightly, it hasn't come unturned for twelve days!! I have had a Jackson six string, ESP LTD six string, and a Schecter nine string. Returned them all for not being as awesome as this. The reviews (which are slim for BC Rich) said this is a medium quantity guitar meant only for shredding. HA! This sounds so good on my clean channels too. Ok my newb brain is blown! This is worth the money compared to the other guitars I've tried Get it, with Musicians Friend awesome return policy and you will be happy you did!! Lots of fun shredding to you!Bohdijayr
