It's a great idea. A silent guitar that doesn't disturb people. Once it was set up on my Samsung tablet Tab S4 (the latest), it was fine. BUT, and it's a BIG BUT, you can't use it until you have upgraded the firmware when you purchase it. It won't upgrade the firmware on an Android machine. And as I don't have a Windows PC any more, I had to hit the helpline.after 15 emails, and 3 days, I finally gave up, and used my daughter's iPad to update the Jamstik. Got this for my daughter for her birthday when it originally came out last year before there were reviews. We were super excited but when we got it the quality was awful. Standard and bluetooth play if you continually strum the music only plays every couple seconds then stops no matter what. Its very annoying and frustrating. Would have been okay if the bluetooth kept just playing the music whether the child strummed or not. My daughter would much rather play on her puppy guitar that actually plays built in songs that doesn’t constantly stop.Disappointed
My grandchild had to have this guitar. She saw it online and immediately wanted it. The color is vivid and it has more features than others I have saw. Be sure to save the box it came in as it can be used to store it in. It closes with Velcro . She hasn't done the blue tooth option yet ( it has 4 play options to choose from) but I'm sure it will work fine. She has already serenaded half the neighborhood using it outside lol. I think almost everyone within hearing distance heard it. Little Times is a trusted brand that's known to make good toys. I would recommend it for any budding artist.Cookies

Guitar was not setup properly had to adjust everything. The cheap Vinyl that's glued on otter edge already pealing. When it arrived there was glue seeping from the edges, didnt realize until I touched it & ruined my $$60.00 gold plated strings. I replaced truss rod cover, junk. Knobs dont match/ugly replaced. Nut was junk, not cut right, made my own in my shop. The glue seepage awful. Removed cheap Vinyl treating guitar to remove exess glue, ridiculous. Huge scratch on back chip on rear bottom of neck where vynil was joined. For the 60th anniversary edition… Worst I've ever seen! My original 59 still looks plays and sounds fantastic. Cutting corners using cheap materials and trying to save money is no way to honor guitars from our past. Sound not that great but I'll have to replace some wiring & tuners as well. stuff to get it to sound halfway decent. I play in a Zeppelin tribute band at all the hotels and in Vegas, definitely not stage worthy! What a major disappointment. Way over priced. My appraisal $80.00 and that's being generous. Someone in the band said we should do one of those early 60's songs. I listened to it, and it clearly had that 12-string jangle so characteristic of the period. The best thing for that is a Rickenbacker 12-string, but I wasn't going to spring for that for just a few songs. So I zeroed in on a few possibilities, including this Danelectro, and the Dean Boca and the Ibanez Artcore in about the same price range. But the Dano is of course pretty much the exact same instrument that they made back then, and it is arguably better now than it ever was. It was always an inexpensive brand, but had the distinction that a lot of famous people played them. Therefore it has that "original vibe", like the Rickenbacker, but at a fraction of the price. So the Dano was the obvious choice, and I got this NOS version (No-S = no S or F hole which some other models have and the originals did). They say it is still made from Masonite, but you can't tell since it is completely painted and while the website says it is laminated, it is very light-weight. And it still has that textured plastic tape around the whole perimeter like it's supposed to have. The neck strap button is in an awkward location, so you may have to cut a piece off your strap to make it fit (I did, and I replaced my strap buttons with Schaller black strap locks). These guitars are made in Korea, and the build quality is excellent. I was afraid that I'd have get a setup, but the one I received has a fine neck with a nice rosewood finger board, has low action and plays easily enough (for a 12-string), so I'm going to leave it as is. The sound is great! It has that unique Dano sound because of the two lipstick pickups. It may be too bright when using the bridge pickup only, but the thing is you get used to the tone really quickly, so it may work just fine. It certainly will cut through the mix! It is louder when using both pickups, which is probably what I will use most of the time. In sum, I'm very happy with it! It will do!Willy
I didn't have high hopes for a 12 string electric at this price point, but I also couldn't resist, and WOW – am I completely satisfied! This guitar plays really well. It came with a good set-up and when I fine tuned it all the systems worked as they should. You can even adjust intonation on all twelve strings. Thus far the neck has been straight and easily adjusts to string or environmental conditions – I've given it a slight adjustment once it acclimated to my desert conditions and since it has been stable and true. Of course I should protect my guitar from the elements, and I bought a gig bag, but it stays out pretty much constantly and is used daily. This guitar is tons of fun. It easily does the Byrds style of 12 string sound. Also, I never knew just how many early Beatles riff where on 12 string until I started messing with this guitar. It's a blast. I own a Rick 6 string and have always wanted an electric 12. This Danelectro is great quality and great fun and it more than satisfies my itch (for now) at fraction of the price. You will not regret buying this guitar – it will unlock a new world!Mike

The guitar is cool looking, with the moon phase fret markers and the logo on the headstock. Sounds a little tinny, but it's small and light and fun to play. A short 22 1/2" scale length makes the strings easy to fret for beginners and experienced musicians as well. The gig bag is nothing to write home about, it'll keep the dust out, but doesn't provide much protection against bumps or dings. It's basically a canvas bag with no padding whatsoever. This is a nice little guitar for travel, camping and taking to the lake, places you might not want to take the fancy Martin or Taylor. It is light but sturdy and has a quality feel. The sound is not great, but not bad for a small 3/4 laminate guitar. It is very easy to play–the action is low and light, almost like an electric guitar. The coloring on the darker green "tuning pegs" chips easily as I noticed it was flaking off in my son's mouth. This is poor manufacturing and likely a synthetic material that should not be ingested. This toy should be recalled. The rest of the color finish is integral to the plastic but the "tuning pegs" have been coated with a darker green finish (over brown plastic base) that flakes off easily with the scratch of a fingernail or into a baby's mouth.

Welcome to RockJam. I have never heard of this brand before this test and I am impressed. I had tried to learn guitar years ago and had an electric guitar that broke almost immediately, but that wasn't the case with this one. I have been using this guitar daily for the past week or so and I have made so much progress. the guitar itself is well made and sturdy. The stand is stable and compact which helps to take on-the-go. The tuner is very entry level but works for what you need it to do. now the bad. The bag feels really flimsy and doesnt provide pretection the way you would need for transportation. The strings that came installed on the guitar break easily, but the ones that come with the kit are more quality. The pick holder is ok but can be difficult to get the picks out. Overall this is a great guitar. Paired with the Simply app with one month subscription you can be a novice guitarist in no time.JacobM5

I’m not a huge fan of the automatic off. It goes off after only a minute or two and you have to move the power switch back and fourth to start it up again. It would be better if pressing any key would reactivate after it goes into silent mode. My baby will go back and fourth between toys so I always have to get up and move the power switch for her. (In fairness, she is a few months under the recommended age). Other than that annoying feature, this toy is cute as a button and all babies love musical toys.Ames87

The new Zoo Jamz Tiger Rock Guitar by VTech is so much fun to play with. There are so many different songs, melodies, and animal sounds to hear with 3 different guitar styles to choose from.
