A must have for the Rock Band fan, the keyboard allows you to finally rock with a full band. And, as a bonus, it can teach you to actually play a keyboard as a bonus. The one draw back is that it's not supported by many of the older songs you may have imported from RB1/2, and the keyboard parts for downloadable songs often cost extra. I use this on Rock Band 3 for PS3 with a MIDI Pro box (also available on Mighty Ape) and a standard MIDI cable and it works perfectly – even starpower and the control buttons work (though the controls have the Wii symbols on them). The fret buttons are ok – could have been better designed: different widths for each of the "strings" would make it much easier to feel where your fingers are going, same for the nylon strings when trying to pick specific strings. The game is pretty good at stepping you through different guitar techniques and then through the different sections of each song (so you could play them on a real guitar too).Allen

Good game with older songs. Not much fun on hard lvls with the sweet songs. Normal mode is do able it reminds me of play Simon says, with some good music and it's own little twist. I would recommend this to players if they doing the same thing over and overchristopher.w
