This is just what I needed for a very beat up EB-0 that I've been carrying around lately. It's much nicer than I expected. Very strong, thick material, nicely stitched, somewhat padded. Certainly much better that wrapping in a blanket as I have been doing. The logo on mine is different than the one pictured. Instead of the stylized E, mine has a large "Epiphone" written lengthwise on the bag. I like this better in fact but either looks good to me. Never thought that I'd spend money on a gig bag instead of just buying a real case, but for $20 this is just right. Recommend it.

At first glance it looks pretty minimal, but I wanted something lightweight for a guitar that would be carefully handled–by me. Although the padding is quite thin, it has a nice heft to it and provides better cushioning than some bags I've used that are much thicker. Also, it fits a Strat like a glove, and the padding is in all the right places, so there's no flopping around inside the bag, so the guitar is really very well protected. There's only an outside accessory pocket, but big enough for a strap and extra strings. If you need a lot of features or think the guitar will be handled roughly, then maybe this isn't for you. But for most players, it's a nice bag, very light in weight and provides very good protection if you use some common sense…Lefty

Just got this Case for my Epiphone Explorer Goth '58. I was worried that it might not fit. But it did. You will have to push down a little on the big horn side, since the case is new. This case is not a hard case so it fits just fine and keeps it snug when you push it down. Light weight and has straps for carry on your back. First case arrived with bent latch, missing key and dimple on the front exterior face. Returned it. Second case arrived with latch that did not match up with the top flange pushed in so it would not fit in the bottom receiving slot. Will not bend out to fit without damaging the case. Also had oily staining on multiple areas of the front face that is slowly, but not completely yet coming off with soap and water and hard scrubbing. The interior fit is PERFECT. I am exhausted by the back and forth and will probably accept this one even though one of the latches does not fit properly. The case still seems very functional, but the crew manufacturing the outside of these cases is not paying attention and I suspect they are not inspected. Ok yes the build quality is decent and it's good looking. Don't just accept other reviews at face value that this is some kind of panacea of quality. It's fine. Probably wouldn't hold up to heavy regular use but for medium to light use it should be fine. The carrying handle on particular looks like it would wear out quickly. I don't gig a lot anymore so the price/quality seemed good. My biggest complaint and the reason I'm returning it is the sizing is kind of absurd. It's way too big. I bought mainly to use with a Strat and there are big gaps all the way around. Cases of any type only work well when the fit is snug. If there is slop, bad things happen. The accessory pocket is classy – I like the removeable pouch that is perfect for a trem arm and setup tools. This gig bag is very ergonomic and is easy to carry. Obviously designed to fit a strat like a glove it may not fit other guitars as well. I bought the Fender FE620 guitar gig bag for a Fender Player Stratocaster, I was not disappointed. Three things stand out about this gig bag vs gig bags of the past. My kids (ages 9 and 11) got guitars as gifts a year ago. They have been taking beginner guitar lessons for a year now. The guitars originally came with very thin guitar bags with no padding. Great starter bag, would recommend to anyone getting a beginner going on an acoustic. I bought this bag for a Fender Squire acoustic and it fits perfectly! The padding is good, but you will still need to handle the guitar carefully when in the bag. The straps are nice and the bag its self is well made with great pockets and handles. I would buy a hard case if kids are intendinf on traveling with it. The strap is pretty basic, and is cheaply made but will hold up fine for the introductory period until we decide to upgrade. Picks are a nice, smaller size and a really nice assortment of colors.Megan

Well made for the money. The picture doesn't really show the quality, but it's there. My Gibson SG standard fits a little loose, but not enough to move around with the lid closed. Latches seem to be solid and not to cheaply made like other competitors product. It gets five stars. Sound: N/A Features: The separate interior compartment was one of the reasons for the purchase but nothing fit. Gibson Les Paul Standard doesn't fit. The neck isn't supported thus causing the body to rock back and forth. Kramer Assault 220+ does not fit. Same problem with the neck as the LP. PRS SE Fredrik Akesson doesn't fit because the body is too thick. Ease of Use: N/A Quality: The outer plastic case material felt thin and flimsy. It'll probably protect your guitar during daily carry but I don't think it'll survive an impact. The latches and hinges are terrible. The latch metal and plating is rough and sharp on the edges. All the latch pivot pins are bowed, I suspect from tension keeping the cover closed tight. The hinges are mounted slightly crooked with the middle hinge mounted on a curve so the edges stick out. All around poor selection of hardware and poor workmanship. The blown foam interior is smaller that the case leaving a 1/4 inch space all the way around. The plush interior hides this gap but it's significant. One of the desiccant packets was open inside (?!) and a few of the little pellets are now rolling around underneath … which means there's airspace underneath! I though it was solid foam? Guess not. Value: I'm not sure what fits in this case … properly … but for $109, its quality and workmanship is marginal and a far cry from the PRS hard case I tried for $177. I would put this in the $60 range but maybe I'm expecting too much. Manufacturer Support: N/A The Wow Factor: It looked good until I actually got it in my hands. Overall: Overall, not worth it. The case is road worthy, and does its job of protecting my guitar! As a touring musician (to any musician), that is what matters most. It is a simple good looking case and I am very pleased that I bought it!I've had it for a couple of months, and have traveled and performed through 3 states with it. I live in Florida and deal with weather that is very humid and big up and down temperature changes during the winter and spring months and the case still looks new and continues to keep my guitar safe!Gene M

The case seems to be fine…waited over a month for the case to arrive after the guitar arived which meant not taking the guitar to the first leg of the shows. Other than that, seems to do what it it supposed to. I am not sure about the comments about it not fitting…very snug and does what it is supposed to do. The only reason for not adding the 5th star is that I have not been able to get it on the road as of yet and the time it took to get the case here. Get it together Epiphone.RideHD69
This guitar is absolutely beautiful in appearance. A bit neck heavy when standing but all doublenecks I think are. The guitar needed a setup when it arrived, (string height adjustment, intonation etc.) but most guitars from the factory do. If you are looking for a doubleneck for under a thousand bucks then you can't go wrong with this one.john
I bought this for a doubleneck Tele partscaster that I built, so I had to modify the interior slightly with some eggcrate foam. It's a decent case to store a guitar in, but I don't think it would hold up on the road. It works just fine to throw into the back seat for an occasional gig, which is what I needed it for. I bought one of these for a Sterling by Music Man bass as I was under the impression Gator bags were made in the U.S. when, come to find out, they're made in China (as are Fender gig bags). As the photos indicate, this bag will work for a Fender P Bass, but the Fender FB620 is a better bag for that and other Fender bass guitars while presently costing 10 less than the Gator while offering better protection and features. The Gator GB-4G seems to be more of a universal fit bag accommodating a wider range of sizes. The thing it seemed to have going for it the most was its zipper which seemed heavy duty. I bought a used guitar for back porch jamming. Needed a gig bag that didn't cost more than the guitar ,but would keep it safe and clean. Stopped at Sam ash because I was certain they had a variety of gig bags. Not my first visit or purchase.The Gator gig bag I chose is the economy for dreadnought guitars by Gator. Great price for my budget and well made. This bag is perfect for my needs. Easy carry and my guitar is covered.Just enough padding in all the right places for my guitar. Unless it has improved features or is being made in the U.S., I don't see the reason for the price increase as the FE620 gig bag provides better protection and features (for Strat size guitars anyway). I purchased one in May 2021 and only because as I was of the impression Gator bags were made in the U.S. when, come to find out, they're made in China (as are Fender gig bags). I should have sized things up beforehand since the Sterling by Music Man Cutlass I bought the bag for is essentially a slightly shorter, slightly sleeker version of a Strat (for which the FE620 was made). The best thing the Gator bag seemed to have going for it was the zipper which seemed rather heavy duty while mesh pockets on the front of a gig bag aren't particularly practical while being subject to tearing/ripping. As you can see by the photos, there's too much room in the bag for a Strat size guitar (though one might be able to insert the headstock into the bag's internal top pocket to prevent the guitar from sliding around too much in the bag). OK, who writes the questions for the reviews? "Is it enjoyable?" Really? For a gig bag I suppose it could be enjoyable… maybe? For MY review… These Glary made "Wayfinder" gig bags are not really made to protect a vintage / collectable guitar. They are made (In my humble opinion) for storage or shipping ANY guitar. I sell guitars for a living, and I buy these Wayfinder gig bags to pack / protect guitars for shipping. That said… These are the absolute best value for what they are. The padding is medium density 5MM P.E. foam (good enough for storage), and the outer shell is a fair choice of a Nylon material. The stitching is also a Nylon format, and the zipper is more than sturdy enough for a "snug fitting guitar". IF you need something to carry a guitar from place to place I would spend a FEW dollars more, and look at the Glary "Hard Shell" cases but IF you are storing or shipping guitars… I think these are the best value gig bag on the market. The price is low enough to give them away or it is low enough to keep your guitar(s) protected in storage. Do I recommend them? YES! I want them wholesale!zombie415.2009
I agree with a previous post that it is made for a 3/4” more than full size, however it will fit a full size. Just length wise it’s a bit of a stretch. My Jasmine S-35 did just that. As far as material and padding, you are getting $14 worth which is what I paid. Nylon material is a little lighter than others and the padding will protect from light dings while moving around but not more forceful impacts. All in all, it’s a good bag to transport your guitar from point A to point B such as classes, or to your practice spot or a friend’s house. If you want a bag to travel and throw around with the luggage and gear, maybe upgrade a little.jmedi

The bag itself is great. My kid loves it and it totally works. I was bummed though when we got it for Christmas because there was a slash right in the front center of it. Like it had been cut with a knife. I’m assuming this was from a box cutter or something and it being opened in a warehouse somewhere. I didn’t return it because I didn’t want the bag to go to waste so our plan was just to put a patch on it or something (although we haven’t yet). It’s not that big of a deal but it was a little disappointing. It has been a great bag though.Katie P.
It was my granddaughter main Christmas present from me. She was so excited. She opened the app on my phone to tune it and first twist to tighten, as the app told her to, do, it broke flying up almost hitting her eye. She is 10 and has juvenile diabetes type 1. She was so upset. It ruined her Christmas. I guess I will have to order more strings, how ever long that will take to get to us. Disappointed in the purchase right now.Sandra O.
