2. Tc Electronic 3rd Dimension Chorus Effects Pedal
Product Details:
This item was returned in mint condition. it is free of any performance issues, and has no scratches, blemishes, or other cosmetic flaws. the tc electronic 3rd dimension chorus is a unique type of “motionless” chorus effect that reproduces that recognizable eighties clean tone. it’s full and lush and expands your tone with a three-dimensional feeling that is at once rich and sweet as well as shallow and smooth. the pedal has no knobs for you to obsess about – just 4 preset buttons ranging from “just a bit” to “quite substantial”. but don’t worry – you’ll like all of them!
Specifications:
Product Type | Chorus effects pedal |
Purpose | Musical effects |
Display Type | Analog |
Chassis Type | Metal |
Knobless | Yes |
Reviews:
The 3rd Dimension, though not stereo – is a serious contender to the Biss Dimension C, and at £30 – a gift! The 4 presets can be combined giving more lush sonic variety than the Boss equivalent. Placed after a delay or reverb pedal, the sound is huge and spacious.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
Echoing the previous review, the presets have you good to go. I was looking for two specific sounds, and I found them both within minutes. Bypasses nicely, no hum or earthing (I'm running it with a battery, which I prefer over having adapters etc. cluttering the place up). Just what I wanted. Also a good Chorus pedal ought to look like it's about to transform into a Decepticon, and on that score they nailed the aesthetic.Daniel
Sounds great. I can't compare to the original or reissue except through online videos. It does what i hoped and sounds as close as i need it to sound for a third of the price. I don't run stereo and know very few people who do, so i think that criticism is a bit overblown. I also plan to use it for subtle bass thickening. I like it better than chorus for that purpose. The baron
3. Tc Electronic Corona Chorus Pedal
Product Details:
If you said that tc electronic wrote the book on guitar chorus you wouldn't be far off. their scf is still one of the most lauded chorus/flange effects out there. but if you're not willing to part with the cash or simply don't need anything quite so involved and you still want the signature tc chorus sound then you're going to love the tc electronic corona chorus effects pedal.
Specifications:
Pedal Type | Stereo Chorus |
Inputs | 2 x Instrument |
Outputs | 2 x 1/4" |
Power Source | 9V DC power supply (sold separately) |
Batteries | 1 x 9V |
Reviews:
Early days but, so far, I love it. I already have a Ditto Stereo, so I knew what to expect. This was really bought for the 'stop' and 'fade' functions for live performance, but I really like the ways that the two loop functions can be used together. The real test will be when I get a chance to use it for a gig.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
Like said in a previous review, right out of the box there's a good chance this won't do much for you. Being able to use the TonePrint feature is vital to making this pedal sing, but once you find that one you need, you'll be in heaven. I play rhythm guitar in an alternative rock band that would basically sound cheesy with a chorus pedal, for the most part, but there is one song that needs the brightness and body offered by a chorus. The default chorus here is either too light or too heavy for my style, it's really impossible to dial in to my sound, but I started messing around with the TonePrints on the app. The first one that caught my ear was a reproduction of the Boss CE-2, and dang, the pure analog chorus sound was breathtaking. Airy if you want it to be, soaking wet if you want that too. The three knobs here on this pedal are really all you could want, and are perfect for dialing in just the right kind of effect to start with, then laying in how much of that effect you want to lay over your dry sound. I really liked the CE-2 copy sound, but I kept trying more TonePrints, and finally found the Brian May one. This was the ticket. Just transparent enough for me at almost any setting, and also brought along that brightness that Brian is known for. The TonePrint app allows me to keep both in my favorites to use at a moment's notice, but I have to say that I keep mine on the Brian May "Chorus1" Print almost all the time. There's so many different Prints though… there's the TriChorus available in a few different versions which is way too thick for what I want, but I imagine it would make a heavily distorted guitar sound really work in a chorusy way, plus tons of other artist Prints. If I found what I needed, I'm sure you can find what will work for you too. I stuck with the Mini just because if I had the full size Corona, I'd stay on the TonePrint switch all the time, which this pedal already basically does. Great value for exactly what I want.SteeringWheelSpotlight
In the past I had had a SCF+ Chorus, and that pedal is perfect. I sold it to a friend before I moved to the US and, because I was missing a chorus in my pedalboard (and I also liked the Flashback Delay), I decided to give Corona a try. I bought this pedal with a discount coupon plus some Backstage Points. Well, unfortunatelly, the Corona disappointed me. Ok, it's well built, it has a good cost-benefit ratio, the option for dual or tri-chorus makes a difference on the "detune" effect, and there are some Toneprint adjusts that can help you to shape your tone… but I think I set the bar too high, thinking that I would get different chorus/flanger/vibrato sounds on it. I wouldn't. I spent some time with the Toneprint Editor, trying to tweak Corona in order to discover new sounds. All the modulations have a similar sound, and the vibrato and flanger doesn't remember the SCF at all. I understand if Corona had offering all modulations in full mode, there would be no reason for other models (Shaker and Vortex), but even the chorus sounds aren't so diverse. You can use speed and depth, and there is a nice hi-pass filter, but if you think Toneprint has many different chorus sounds, maybe you should test that pedal before buying. Also, Corona delivers a specific medium-high frequency (not noticeable on the original SCF+) that shaped the tone a little bit, taking out some of the transparency I expected. TC could fix that EQ issue inserting a multi-band EQ inside the editor. Finishing, don't take me wrong: Corona is a nice pedal, maybe the best option among other chorus pedals with the same price. The technology within allows TC to improve user experience. But don't expect too much.Victor

I'm a big fan of Boss products, especially their pedals. I own many. They are sturdy, quiet, and user-friendly above and beyond other brands. Also the Boss sounds give a very professional polished texture where other brands alter the guitar sound too much. The Bass Chorus is a little more subtle than I expected but it fattens up my bass sound well enough while still allowing my Fender Precisions (fretted and fretless) to retain their original sound character with no background noise. Highly recommended.awendaw33

Specifications:
Weight | 1.4 lb |
Reviews:
This pedal does exactly what it claims to do. Crossover feature keeps your low end clean and defined while the top end shimmers with the chorus effect. The ability to blend the effect is excellent. A marked improvement on the early generation of bass chorus pedals when everything gets a bit wobbly. Highly recommended.namkrowz
Build quality on this pedal is great, tone control is super. Paired up with a big muff bass pi and you've got a great sound. The crossover switch is a great addition but not one I use as I'm running a clean amp and a dirty one, so the more effects the better on the latter! Worth noting, there's no battery. This probably won't be a problem as if you are considering it you probably have a power bank or some other wired power already. Gets you 90% of the way to Come As You Are, you just need to learn the notes.toblockle-0

This pedal sounds awesome. Rate at zero with depth at max and you get a very subtle flange. You can do the leslie thing as well. But my favorite part is that it can be a bit of a boost. Put the rate and depth at zero, and mess with the low and hi cut. I know they seem to be cut only, but literally, it produces a boost that really gives some life to my dirt pedals. My fuzz pedal loves it (and needs it). This is in my all analog board.GuitarDude
I'm 66 so it's like going back into time. No scrolling; no digital micro print; just honest knobs. Matches the Mooer Black Truck I got, all analog (mostly) with a loop built in, so it's toggled from the BT. The Chorus is robust, ramping up the vol on the BT so I had headroom, if I needed it. A very wide palette of chorus sounds, and the one I use all the time is in there. Cool. I love analog. MXR all day long…..phfobric
This is the best piece of guitar equipment I have ever purchased. I have owned this pedal for nearly three years. Purchasing this pedal changed everything about the way I play guitar. I was really into indie rock at the time I got this pedal which basically meant this thing was like the holy grail. The MXR Analog Chorus is absolutely gorgeous in every single way. It looks stunning. It sounds amazing. It is so well-built. I have really beat this thing up over the years and somehow each scrape and dent makes it look a little better. It comes with 5 control knobs that are all super responsive and come together to make this a really versatile pedal. The knobs themselves have that excellent friction to them that makes adjusting your sound a genuine pleasure. There are chorus pedals out there at a higher price point, but none hold a candle to this. Not even close. This pedal is what made me fall in love with the art of playing the guitar. I have gone on to professionally record two records with this pedal. I am going to keep recording records with this pedal until I die, run out of money, or the one I have breaks and I replace it; and honestly, that last scenario is the least likely because this absolute tank is never breaking. If you're on the fence, get it.Danny

Got this to use on a homemade project…driving a Roland Ju-08 sound module via MIDI with an old Sequential Circuits Max synth with separate outputs for the two units. Put this June-60 on the Max output and WOW! What a difference! Went from sounding thin and puny to a lush, rich synth! Im definitely going to get another one!roosevelt1940

I picked this up used because I was looking for the more modern-sounding chorus effects I had become accustomed to when I used Digitech rack units, and my current chorus pedals were very limited and had a more "classic" type of chorus tone that really took over the sound. The digitech didn't disappoint. It can achieve the more traditional analog chorus tones too, however. There is a like of range in settings in this box.swmorgan515
The chorus effects cover a wide range of sounds, from light and warm analogue-ish to thick and sticky to vibrato like modulation, or even light flanger like. Its digital but has warmth of analogue chorus. It really shines in stereo mode. The modulation cycles are complete and have even sinus wave forms. Digital background hiss or reverberation is really unrecognizable. I like it so far!mazda19851

As Julius Cesar said when crossing the Rubicon: "The die has been cast". I am an avid pedal enthusiast, as my 42 pedal pedalboard will attest; and I have had a few flangers before, but ABSOLUTELY NOTHING compares to Josh's flanger. I could add to this review but it will not do anything for you: JUST BUY IT! YOU NEED IT! THERE'S NO OTHER FLANGER LIKE IT! YOU'LL REGRET NOT HAVING THIS CLASSIC IN YOUR COLLECTION A FEW YEARS FROM NOW. Trust me, I'm a Doctor.
I can get this pedal to do three things: a very subtle reverb that adds a touch of space, a room-like reverb, and a super long-tailed ambient reverb that's so expansive it almost sounds like it's mixed with delay. There are other reverb pedals for a bit more money that have more options built into them-spring, plate, hall, room, shimmer, modulated reverb, and so on. With this pedal I find it difficult to switch between the different sounds since it's a lot of knob fiddling. It does sound absolutely killer, which is why I gave it 4 stars, but I don't recommend it if you want to easily switch between different types of reverb. For me it will be more of a "set and forget" pedal for long ambient reverbs.Andrew
I was recently using one pedal board for all my guitars, and the chorus I had was mainly designed for use with acoustic guitar. Now I'm rearranging things to have one board just for my electric guitars and all I needed was a basic chorus pedal of quality build and tone. I knew from reviews the JHS 3 series was perfect for me. I've been playing for 57 years and have owned pedals in the $100 to $500 range to provide my chorus effects. No matter if I had mulitple options in some stomp boxes I usually settled on a good subtle setting, so I knew there was no need for me to get anything fancier than the JHS. It sounds are good as the little blue Boss Chorus I bought way back in 1980.Jon

Reviews:
Distortion/overdrive/fuzz pedals are difficult to get right. There are different "flavors" of dirt, differing amounts available, and there's the issues around EQ coloration and loss of low end. The Aguilar Agro has a nice flavor (kind of retro tube instead of overly modern), a wide range of amount (from none to pretty fuzzy), but best of all what it does and does not do to your overall tone shape. I find that it does not lose my fundamental low frequency and it does not impose a baked-in EQ (such as a mid-scoop) for me to struggle against. It's just my bass, sounding just as it always does, but with a really nice crunch added to it. Simple. But hard to get right. Nice job, Aguilar.scottfeldstein
Minus one star because it's frankly overpriced. Otherwise this pedal is excellent and the best use of 4 knobs in any current envelope filter. You can get a little more out of some of the filters with 6 or 8 controls. But for effective simplicity this pedal is fantastic. You can get a modest variety of albeit similar sounds, but nearly every setting is usable. This alone is more rare than it should be in pedals. The twin filter is incredibly well tuned. And generally easy and pleasurable to use. The only issue I have is with its price. I design audio electronics professionally and can guess at the cost to produce. And the main circuit they sadly chose to pot. Someone looking to "steal" this non-patentable design could still do so but it makes modification and repair near impossible. They should ditch the potting and set a lower price because they should be selling more of these very good pedals.Marty McFlurr

Reviews:
This Strymon pedal is very expensive but has all the chorus effects anyone would need – and a few more – in a very accessible unit. I particularly like the degree of fine adjustment available; Chorus, I think is mostly a subtle effect and fine control is necessary in this situation. The Ramp function allows for pseudo Lesley speaker effects which I use to get keyboard effects from th guitar. I highly recommend this pedal.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
