I needed a decent gig bag for a used Ibanez SR370 that I recently purchased. I think this Wolkpak model is a bit nicer that other similar gig bags in its price range. It seems to offer great protection with plenty of zippered storage pockets, heavy duty zippers and comfortable carrying handles.Ronin
So nice I had to buy it twice! I bought an extra one after the first one arrived. It is very well made, and the extra pockets in side come in handy for the small stuff. Very reasonably priced, in fact I bought one gig bag that did not have the same amount of pockets and the zippers broke, and it was about the same price as two of the Wolfpaks (It also did not have the rubber foot)! I highly recommend this product!peter.krk
Good protection of bass, nice auxiliary handles. Only one con shoulder strap pouch doesn't re-zip when straps in use.G

Reviews:
I think the price of guitar cases are totally inflated and to get one on sale is something one has to do to stretch the dollar. Okay, that being said, this case fits my China made Fender strat Squier to a tee. The eye catching tweed fits the Fender vibe. If you noticed my cons was durability i.e. the cases tweed look is attractive, but you wonder as road gigs pile up if the tweed doesnt start to tear and expose the raw components exterior of the case underneath? If they had lacquered the tweed exterior, the case itself would have a fighting chance to slip and slide into vans and carriage areas with little thought of rips and tears it would acquire in a short time. Again, I dont gig much these days, but if I was looking at a case long term that could withstand the road, this case would questionable unless you "handle with care" when you transport and load and unload your gear.James R
I didn't feel like spending over $200 and waiting until who knows when, for a Gibson Explorer case, so I picked one of these up. For the money, it's a good case. I carry my guitars with me to shows, so they are always in my vehicle, so this case does the job. I will say it feels a tad more sturdy than the Gator version of this case, and it's slightly smaller, which is a good thing given how large an Explorer case has to be. The only improvement I could wish for, is to make it tad smaller still. There's still several inches of room from the headstock to the edge of the case. Overall, for the money, I'm very happy with the case.Tony
I purchased this knowing that it wouldn't be a super durable road case but adequate for storage and playing out now and then. In those ways, it met my expectations. The case is made of very thin plywood, but not so flimsy that it can't function as a good light duty case. The hardware appears to be of decent quality and all of the latches lined up well. The lining was neatly applied and actually fairly soft and plush. It is a universal fit case, so I wasn't expecting it to be completely form fitting to my Telecaster. It will move around a bit in the case when you transport it. It could use better neck support, as well. But overall, not bad for the price. Where this product really came up short is with the application of the tweed covering. The tweed was applied over wood chips and small voids in the wood frame. No effort was made in sanding or prepping the wood prior to applying the cover material. This is only cosmetic, but looks really sloppy and substandard. Maybe I just got a rough one. I didn't expect perfection at this price, but I don't think this case ever should have left the factory like this.Pat

Reviews:
Not worthy of being called fender. It's like I bought a knock off brand. This was supposed to be for a Christmas present and so I ordered the dark blue one. It had the same issue of the leather falling off on the inside. The only thing keeping it together was a thin amount of glue. It was falling apart. So we returned it for another one. And got this light blue one. The problem was worse. We are having to glue it on ourselves. But honestly this is unacceptable. Not only was the leather unglued but there was several holes in the outside, and the fender logo inside is just plastic wrap on top of a metal button. My husband is dealing with it because I got it for him but I expected better. He loves fender, and I notice quality details right away and this wasn't it. They need to reevaluate what they are doing to save money. Definitely would not gonna buy again or recommend to anyone that wants a case that will last a long time. All of them on the store were like this by the way.Clarissa
I purchased the tweed/red case and really love it. I had read some negative review in the past so I was a little hesitant but the one I got arrived in perfect condition (quality materials, latches all line up, etc.) and just looks fantastic. One thing I would like others to know (should be more common knowledge and the case should come with a small instruction sheet, for which I would give a Fender/G&G a full 5/5 stars), is that at first you might think the case is a little small because of the padding — it is actually fine as long as you know that you need to "pre-squish" the sturdy padding and then properly insert the guitar (and also let it get settled for a bit). Indeed, this particular tweed case has very sturdy padding where the headstock and bottom of the guitar touch (also a little on the sides). This is a good thing in the long run but at first it appears as if the guitar might not fit (either a Tele or Strat with regular size headstock). There are forums explaining that it is best to put the head stock in first and then slowly push the bottom in. I would also add another very important step before that… With a little patience and elbow grease (but careful not to overdo it), spend a bit of time carefully squishing down the padding on both ends. After a little while, check (and re-check as necessary) to see if the guitar is getting easier to fit in (be especially careful with the high "e" string tuner when test fitting to avoid getting bad pressure on it). Your patience will pay off when you get to the point where the guitar fits very snug all around (without any loose movement). I suppose they could use more squishy material for the padding for an easier initial fit but it seems that would risk a loose fit in the long term. Since these cases are more for vintage vibe than, say, super-duty TSA-approved for heavy travel, it is more good than bad that the padding needs a bit of initial coaxing to get the best fit so it stays more snug long term.JOSE
This case is not what I expected from a G&G case. I've owned numerous G&G cases over the years and currently own two that came with my 70th anniversary Broadcaster and AVRI 62 Telecaster and this case is not the same quality as those. The first thing I noticed is that this case is extremely light. That's because it's made of thin, flimsy material and the top will flex under light pressure. The overall quality is nowhere close to the older G&G cases; tolex, latches, handle…everything. Also, my guitars fit very snugly in the older cases and with this one, my Tele has room to slide back and forth about a quarter of an inch. These cases aren't bad, they're just not great quality and what you'd expect from G&G. In my opinion they're a little overpriced for what you get, too. Also, be aware that the "orange" plush interior is closer to red than orange and does not look like the photos.Adam

Overall: Well, ordered this case because I got a screaming deal on a brand new Ibanez RG470AHM and hated the case that came with it, I also wanted to check out zZounds no interest payment plan. Case that came with the guitar was something to protect the guitar and better than a gig bag but not much. The new Ibanez case came in just 2 days and was extremely well packaged! It looks great! Outside has sort of a carbon fiber molded look and the inside was beautiful and plush. Guitar fits in in it like a glove! It is exactly what I was looking for, and there is zero movement of the guitar when the lid is closed. Case only has 3 latches but it is secure when they are latched and there is a key lock as well. I just wish I could find a case that fits like this for my B C Rich mockingbird!! Ibanez, you nailed it with this case for the RG series guitars. zZounds, great job with my first order. You definitely have a new customer. Thanks for having just what I needed, at a great price, with free shipping, and a zero interest payment plan to boot! Now if I could just con you folks in to an employee discount plan, I would be in guitar 7th heaven!! Thank you all!!!Shannon
Fits my Ibanez S570AH like a glove. Well made ABS plastic case with locking center latch. No compartment lids to break or lose. Interior compartments are sealed via the apposing half of the molded interior when the two halves are closed together. Empty it's unbalanced. With guitar inside it's perfectly balanced and comfortable carrying. A small compartment for picks, clip-on tuners etc, a second compartment wide enough for a 3-4" wide guitar strap with room left over, and a third for your cord etc. I also have a small portable folding floor stand for my guitar that fits alongside my cord in the larger compartment. The interior is well done with no loose areas or frayed edges showing. All surfaces are glued and fitted tightly. It's not a professional road case, but it.s suitable for travel locally or in your personal vehicle without worry. Also be a good carry-on if airline allowed you. I wouldn't trust the baggage handlers, but then who does? …unless you absolutely had too. That said, it's safer than a plywood case for sure. And unless they stacked an elephant on it or literally threw it from the plane, your guitar would likely survive being tossed around as things are. A fair deal for the price all things considered. Just keep in mind, it IS plastic after all. Not steel and bullet proof. I'd buy another if needed.honorable1-us
Overall: I ordered this along with my new Ibanez SEW and it fit the paper thin S series like a glove. Ive had it for almost a year and haul it back and forth to recording sessions and band practice and it is amazing. 10/10 I am however giving the features and wow factor a 3 star not 5 star because there's not an enclosed storage spot inside…something with a lid to hold my picks in one spot without bagging or boxing the picks. Everything is perfect aside from that. I havent needed to contact manufacturer support so I'll just go ahead and give them 5 stars.

Reviews:
Highly recommended case! However if you have a unique version Les Paul, I also recommend you take your guitar in person to check fit. Epiphone 2020 50's std Les Paul fit EXACTLY. Headstock has about 1/8" – 1/4" clearance on the sides & about 1/4" – 1/2" on the top. The body fits into the case like a glove, but with the plush padding, it is still able to move around if bumped or jolted. I thought at first the fit might be too tight but I think it is better with the snug fit because there is ample padding to offer cushioned support. I've tried other similar cases that had a snug fit, but not much padding. Those gave me the feeling that the guitar was getting too much pressure and might crack if jolted too much. This Tourtek case padding is like pillow foam support. I feel like it is a good balance between free movement and firm support. I would definitely recommend this case with the caveat mentioned above as well as full disclosure that I have only had the case for less than an hour. This is my initial review.Davey
Been using this case for my guitar at work and it's such an eye catcher. It's a good looking case and does the job. I'm not too rough on this case because it looks like the quality isn't as great as a TKL obviously. The locks are a good heft but my only complaint is that they went pretty cheap on the handle which I think is one of the more important pieces of hardware on the case. Also kinda thrown off by the silver TourTek label on the case. It does not compliment the beautiful brass hardware on the rest of the case. All in all I'm pleased with this case for the price. It's a good looking case and I'm hoping that the handle will hold up with time.DEVON

10. Gretsch G2162 Hollow Body Electric Gig Bag
Product Details:
Specifications:
Padding (Strength) | 20 mm |
Finish | Nylon |
Outside Pocket | Yes |
Backpack | Yes |
Reviews:
Bought this gig bag expecting much better from Gretsch. Very little padding and protection – especially around the neck. Watch my YouTube video on how the guitar fits. Then see the Protec bag (also available on musiciansfriend). It offers much better quality and protection for around the same price.John
I was hoping, perhaps foolishly, that Gretsch had designed a quality gig bag to protect its fine guitars. Sadly, this wasn't the case. I got this specifically for an Electromatic G5422T, which is what the bag was, largely, designed for. The bag is shockingly thin, worrisomely light, and has hardly any padding or support. Not a great set of factors for a tilted neck guitar, with a tilted headstock, and a light, semi-hollow body. I'd be reluctant to use it for storing in my home. So, I am sending it back.KF66
Ive been purchasing equipment from you for over 20 years. Everything from cables to amps, drums, vocals, accessories, guitars, etc. I've never been disappointed with anything from shipping to product quality. I've referred many friends, including professional artists to purchase here. Keep up the great work.

Reviews:
I bought the Gator GWE Hardshell case for a Squier Affinity Stratocaster project. The case holds the guitar firmly in place with no movement. I was a bit surprised at the good quality of the case at the price point. It wouldn't hold up to excessive abuse, but for storage purposes it works fine.Kenneth
Overall: I got this case because I read a review that a Fender Telecaster would fit in it. What that review lacked is that it fits SNUG. I have to press the guitar into the case for it to fit. After some time I'm sure the case will "mold" to my tele but I just thought I should let you all know that before you buy it. I'm a pretty easy going musician but I know some people might be put off by that. The case has a soft interior and it appears to be very cheap but usable. If the insides of this case ever fall out, I'll just super glue it at a later date. Nice for what you pay for.The little storage cubby inside of the case is small. It fits my capo, a set of strings, picks and one lava cable. Sometimes you have to rearrange the things inside for the case to allow you to close it but again, I'm easy going. One of the latches on the outside seems to fit more loose than the others. Thankfully it's not a big deal when all of the latches are…erm.. latchedOverall it's a decent purchase. Keeps my tele out of a soft case.
Bought this case along with a Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster thinking it wouldn’t be as nice as the similar Fender case that is around $80 more but I did think it would at least be a solid, protective case. It is not. Exchanged emails with AMS to authorize an exchange for the SKB case and was made aware exchanges are not allowed on Easy payment options. Makes sense, I just wasn’t aware and I’m sure I’m not the first caught off guard. Opted to return for a refund and was told card on file would be charged around twelve bucks. To return a junky case that has carpet on the interior lifting up, and that also has “tolex” pulling apart on the outside. Lame. Just get the skb, or even better, order the deluxe molded fender case from someone who stocks it and hopefully stands behind the products they sell. Maybe just a byproduct of the Amazon era where decades old retailers are essentially operating like a punk distro…..Ty

Reviews:
What makes this case a bad design are the slot sections inside. The foam buckles, folds and breaks pretty quickly. This causes a situation where when you are removing or loading your guitar, facing left, in the left slot it rubs up against the strings and saddles of the guitar in the left slot section. I bought a 2010 Les Paul Goldtop and it was in mint condition. It is not anymore. All the damage has been caused by the case and not rocking out. There are a number of scratches, dings and chips at the bottom of the guitar and in the back that were caused from the guitar slipping off of the foam that separates the two guitars while trying to slip the guitar in and out into place. The thin foam padding that they have at the bottom of the lip has fallen off and that has caused some dings and scratches on my guitars when taking them out and loading them in. I do like the case for the ease of mobilizing the guitars but the design of the slots and UX of the case has fallen short. I was hoping that in our times that these things would have been addressed during the research phase of design but based on what I’ve experience with this product I doubt that much research and testing was invested in the actual load and unloading of guitars of even the UX of the product. On their website they use language like “ Whether you call them your "Babies" or your "Axes", we know how important your guitars are to you…”. I first thought about baby strollers and how padded and safe they are. I thought about how the designers of strollers think about how to remove danger or harm to the infant in the stroller.Elijah Zane Echeveste
This case is okay not great. I don't fly I just bought it to throw in my car and go to gigs. The quality of the build is well below SKB into the Gator end of the spectrum, okay not great. It will not fit a Jazz style bass which I thought was unusual given the popularity of that style instrument. I bought mine on sale and was disappointed. If I had paid full price I would have been angry.

Reviews:
I was going to get the SKB-6 but did not like that it does not have body contours to hold the guitar body snug. This SKB-66 has nice contours that do hold the guitar body snug. The neck support section was a little tight at first. But then I realized the softest part of this case is down the middle of the top lid where the lid touches the neck and strings. That section appears the same as the rest but indeed has a semi firm/soft foam so it does not squash the neck and strings but holds the Pacifica snug with no wobble room at all. Even with the case latch closed I can push in and flex the case in that area. No pressure on the 5 way switch or knobs. I was a little skeptical of the fit prior to purchase because the Pacifica has a slightlt different body shape from a Fender Strat. But, it fits just right. Latches seem sturdy. This is my second SKB ABS case. The first one is still holding strong after 18+ years with a Tele style guitar in it.Sasquach
I have another SKB rectangular Case that has the Fender logo embossed with the TSA locks. That case fits my Strat and Tele much better. This case is a bit lighter but still nice quality, however, the neck support is so high in the case that when you place your guitar in the case, the whole guitar sits at an angle. The headstock lifts up out of the case as the body drops in. When you close the lid, the pressure forces the headstock down and the body up putting undue stress on the neck of the guitar. When I think "universal" case, I would expect it to fit a traditional Strat and Tele, but it does not.Don
I bought this for a Charvel Predator, and was worried what I was going to be receiving for the price, since I have received some pretty crappy ones only a little cheaper than this one. When I got it and opened it up, I couldn't have asked for anything more. This is the highest quality case I have ever bought. There is tons of storage inside. I originally bought it to ship a guitar safely out to Mike Learn for a paint job, but this case will be one I will keep forever. BUY THIS NOW!!! I may be buying one or two more for other guitars I have.simplydirectproducts

Looks great inside and outdarke1952
The Crossrock CRW500C fit my Giannini AWN 70 Classical Guitar very nicely (with little wiggle room). The quality of the case materials is nice, with the only noticeable cost-saving measure being the slightly less thick (but still adequate) wall cushioning. The precision of the case's construction though is awesome! Honestly, for roughly $70, this case punches well above it's weight class and I would certainly recommend it. Heck, I've paid $100 or more for cases that were far less well-made than this one.snewman51389

Reviews:
It's difficult to give a really definitive review since a guitar case really proves its quality over time and I just got this one, but I'll say that it seems solid and is exactly what it's slyly advertised as–a much more affordable copy of Fender's strat case that is almost indistinguishable from the original. So far I'm definitely happy with it–my strat fits inside snugly and it feels like quality product.Michael T.
Great case holds my stratocaster perfectly thank youjamtown12
