Seems as well built as the other options I've seen. Better tonal range than Vox and better than having to buy 2 or three devices. First impressions were not that good but as I've used it a bit more I can see me getting more used to it. I probably expected to much and was basing my hopes on the FLY amps. I think the effects are too limited to be worthwhile and would prefer Blackstar to focus on better amp tone. Still, I'm happy with it and for the type of device this is I know of nothing that sounds better. If I lost it I would probably look at the latest options but as it stands this is still the one I would buy. I think all of this type of device are over priced when you consider what a small amp costs but for portable practice in a small space it can't be beaten. Amazing bit of kit for the price! Clean, over drive and distortion channels in a small box the amps to headphones perfectly! Can’t really comment on the effects as not really tried them out! But if you need a tiny portable amp that connects to your headphone for practice i would throughly recommend! Just noticed it even has aux in so I can listen to my Fender tutors without having to have 2 different sets of headphones on the go!!! I had read that the band adjusters for these headphones were very stiff and didn't extend enough to fit some users heads comfortably but I had neither of these problems and found them very comfortable to wear, with very soft enclosing earpads (and I have big ears!) The sound quality listening to music via bluetooth is great and latency seems low. Many reviewers have commented that these phones emphasise the bass, possibly slightly too much, but comparison with my older wired headphones actually seemed to give a little less bass than them, so who knows. They work well and are nice looking, I would recommend the OneOdio A70 headphones.jellyfishaudio

What a great sounding mini amp. I've had to use headphone mini amps for the last 15 years due to time constraints and location of practice area. I didn't want to use the precious practice time I had just to set up full size amp for only an hour or so and then return everything back to storage area. It was so much simpler and convenient just to plug a mini amp into my guitar, put on head set and play. Down side was always the quality of the mini amps I was using. I was getting them for around half of what a vox cost.. I always wanted a vox but they were expensive. After joining mf rewards club and making several purchases I bought my vox for about half price by applying my points to the purchase. I should have never waited. This vox is 10 times better than the cheaper brands. As soon as I opened the packaging and held it in my hand I could feel the quality. When I first plugged it in and started playing I got really upset. Not at the mini amp but at myself for waiting so long. I highly recommend buying this mini amp. Trust me. It's really worth it and you'll be glad you did.Horn

Cannot praise this device highly enough. It sounds great, and is ridiculously versatile for such a small device, comprising not only Gain, Tone and Volume controls, together with three levels each of effects options Chorus, Delay and Reverb, but also Clean, Crunch and Lead. Two AAA batteries are required (included), and give hours of usage. Just plug it into your guitar, attach headphones (decent pair of over-ear type are best, but don't need to be expensive) and, if wishing to practice over a track by your favourite band, simply attach an appropriate device such as a tablet or 'phone. If you require to free your amPlug2 sound from the confines of headphones, Vox also offer a mini, 2 watt, amPlug2 amp/speaker to which you attach your amPlug2 and play out loud (but not loud enough to annoy the neighbours. The wonderful Vox 50 watt amp/cab stack Mini Superbeetle Audio blue tooth speaker also doubles as a guitar amp, complete with amPlug2 compatibility, but at full volume, this would definitely annoy the next door neighbours, and possibly those further afield. The amPlug has given me new found freedom to play and practice without needing to wait for opportunities where it can be done without audibly intruding on the personal space of others in the household. I have subsequently invested in the equally good Classic Rock amPlug2 (and which, on balance, I prefer), together with both the aforementioned Vox Mini amPlug2 cab/speaker and Superbeetle Audio blue tooth amp/speaker stack. Basically, the freedom afforded by the amPlug2 headphone amp has reinvigorated my love of guitar playing, and I try to squeeze in some practice time on a daily basis. I recently a BOSS Katana Artist MkII amplifier (which I have reviewed elsewhere) and love it. However, it is somewhat of a pain to connect my phone and studio headphones to it to do a little nighttime jamming – both of those require cables, which makes setup and teardown enough pain that I don't want to do it. When I heard of the WAZA-AIR, I found it is almost exactly a Katana in convenient headphone shape. To be clear, I love this thing. It sounds good enough that I will play it and it is a snap to get started. I traded a Fender Mustang Micro for the WAZA-AIR, and the two are not even in the same ballpark. To be fair, the Mustang is about a third the price, so I'm not surprised, but if you are struggling to get a good sound from a Mustang – and if you have the cash – the WAZA-AIR is likely to do what you need. The software and firmware are…finicky at times. There are a few oddities that I can't explain that differ from the Katana software. For instance, it appears that I cannot use both a Booster and the Modulation at the same time. I don't get that. I can still connect a wireless MIDI controller to the WAZA-AIR, and that might open up more possibilities. It's also another investment, and I'm still trying to determine if being able to hit a pedal is worth it. Overall, I do recommend the WAZA-AIR. It sounds great, the convenience can't be beaten, and it is just very solid and feels right. There are a couple of strange parts that – so far – do not detract enough from the experience for me to try to change them. If you are reading this now, I recommend you give it a try. I am not sure, but I don't think anyone has ever invented this. It's just headphones that connect to your electric guitar wirelessly, right? In fact, I was just thinking of this, before I discovered these on Sam Ash – because i was sitting there, tangled in headphone wires, guitar cables, and I wondered – can't somebody do this wirelessly? So I did a search, and voi la! Here's the other thing – inside the phones, it sounds like outside the phones. In other words, these are not JUST wireless guitar headphones – they are wireless amplifier headphones. The one thing I don't like – and maybe someone knows the answer – but, the controls, through the app, are pretty limited. Or at least, it's not like a amp modeler, like Spark. But then, Spark is not like Amplitube – actually models hundreds of real amplifier setups – from the real world. I was impressed from the moment I hooked this small tabletop amp up. It’s got big sound for such a small package. The app is decent too, but could use some more songs to jam with. I think that overall this is a fun way to work on your music late at night or when the mood and inspiration hits. It’s loud, but not so much as it would bug any neighbors or house guests. I use it just as a Bluetooth speaker as well to jam out to my favorite tunes. I would highly recommend this little beast of an amp for its tight bass response and it’s amazing functionality. Good for busking and practice with nice tones. The wireless and drums are nice features . Good size for traveling and no need for outlet with rechargeable battery. The jam tracks and artist's songs are limited but you can stream any songs you want via Bluetooth. The price was reasonable as well.Doug

I am quite pleased with this headphone amp. I have been using it with a bass and am very impressed with the even frequency response and very pure-sounding tone. I am also using Shure in-ear headphones, and the combo just sounds right together. The clip on the unit fits onto guitar straps so it is convenient to plug in with a pedal patch cable and clip on near the bottom strap button. Having said that, I do have a few gripes with the unit that were enough to take away one star. For one – mine shipped with the volume knob turned all the way up. Without clear marking of what is max and min volume, this could be damaging to someone's hearing out of the box. While it doesn't get very loud, it's still inconsiderate to the musician. The other thing is the static when the headphones are being plugged in. Again, with the default volume at max, this isn't a good thing to have happen. I certainly hope nobody puts their headphones on before plugging into this… I would much rather see a different volume knob on this unit that clicks off when it is turned all the way down, especially because I'd prefer to leave my headphones plugged into this when I'm done with it (have to unplug them to save the battery). Overall it's worth the price and the simplicity is great for musicians. Just be smart when it comes to your ears and you'll enjoy this product.that guy

Well I don't like Electro Harmonix but I've purchased junk practice/travel amps from fender, and the especially bad VOX..really really the VOX is garbage don't buy the VOX. This one I currently use at work with a single pickup and it sounds really nice and clean. Warm not scratchy. So even though I've wasted some money on Electro Harmonix pedals this practice amp can't be beat at the price point they sell them for. You might get something with more bells and whistles than a volume knob for twice as much but if you want a simple clean amp this will do at this price this is a great little device. I rated it 5 stars because for the price it blows away the toys out there at the same price. This is a stocking stuffer a musician can actually use.bjq3srl

Got this Amplug Blues today plugged it into my Strat and it sounds great! and I highly recommend it! Now is it perfect? the answer is the usual NO. I think it can be improved on as follows. 1. Put a little color on the dials… the plastic is all black and the plug can rotate to different orientations. Would really be nice to have the dials stand out better with different colors. 2. Change the AA batteries to USB rechargeable Lipo battery. No reason to burn batteries when you can recharge! 3. My main change request is to have Bluetooth Audio In because you plug in the Amplug and then connect headphones (great for practicing). But to add audio to jam to you need to connect another cable to the Aux jack. So for me it just get's to be too much. Since nearly everyone has a smart phone it would be great to use Bluetooth for the Audio In so you can wirelessly play jam track and stuff without needing the 2nd cable. But it does sound really good and I'm keeping it!Harpster58

I regret, that I was mistaken in my previous review. I had claimed that the sound was great – but, that some functions were missing, after about a month of use. That is not true. I re-read the slightly, confusing, manual. The unit itself is – slightly, confusing* – but, it does work the way it is supposed to. In fact, you have a serious selection of effects – at least, three levels, of each one of, three effects – far more than other units in this category of headphone amplifier. The sound is incredible – the thing's got, big, b*alls! – and that, in itself, is worth five stars. Amazing job!
*The effects are split by two different buttons at two different ends of the unit, which makes it a bit uncomfortable.Dale Alan Bryant

I just received the speaker – dead – nothing works. Support tells me that I have to follow their process.

1. Fill out a form
2. Wait to get it inspected
3. Wait for a working speaker

The form requests ridiculous tasks like: "a picture of the full, back panel of your speaker" and "a few photos of your speaker and, in each photo, have a piece of paper with your name and the current date written on it". It is the most complicated process I've ever experienced.
The process will take 2-3 weeks for a damaged not working product that took a few days to ship. Nothing was my fault.

Don't get me wrong, the support team is helpful. But who in Customer Success creates this process? Don't wonder why people buy on Amazon. The new one would already be on it's way while we still work on the claim.Thomas Fuchs

I've had two pairs over the past week, and both have the same issue, a static sound perpetually in the headphones when using a wire connected to an external device. After testing with a wire, I find that a small buzz is now noticeable whenever I play audio, and it will not go away. It was fine in store, but as soon as I got home, they changed. This is so frustrating! I loved my MAJOR 3s, I love the small unobtrusive knob, sharing music between headsets, and a fantastic battery life, and these seemed to have more convenience than before; but with fundamental errors, I cannot recommend them. If you really want them, please ensure you test them before leaving the store, and compare your at-home experience to the test and determine if you are really satisfied.Rowan

The synthetic memory foam ear pads are deep enough to prevent rubbing against the outer ear, What’s more, the padding makes listening comfortable for hours at a time and is moderately comfortable with glasses. The charging cable that comes with the headphone is way too short, most of my chargers are located under my desk but if you have one close to your computer it does make it relatively easy. They have Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa and serve as a great option for anyone wanting a fair priced alternative. All of the controls reside on the lateral edge of the right ear cup. Unfortunately, the playback and volume controls are nearly impossible to find on the first try, Further down is the conjoined noise cancelling/Bluetooth pairing button, neither of which functions I needed. Battery life is quite good. The headphones provided 18.5 hours of playback with noise cancelling on. While this is 1.5 hours shy of JBL’s listed 20 hours of performance, the fact of the matter is that 18.5 hours is plenty. Playback controls are small and hardly differentiated from one another. If you’re wanting to get the best audio quality from the headphones, use the included 3.5mm cable. One of the more functional features is multipoint connectivity. This allows you to simultaneously connect to two devices and alternate between them. In order to do so, pause media on the primary device and play it on the secondary one. This bass-heavy pair of headphones is great for the average consumer. Where passive isolation falls short, active noise cancelling makes up for lessening low-frequency noise. Isolation is just ok, but when noise cancelling is activated, the outside world fades into the background. Active noise cancelling is turned on by default. The headphones may fold flat or upward to become more compact for transport. If you want great noise cancelling for less, yes. They might not be the clearest sounding headphones, but they are comfortable, portable, and effectively filter out external noise with ANC toggled on. Aside from that, Google Assistant and Alexa integration is a wonderful convenience: having texts read aloud and being able to immediately reply without touching my phone is a joy. First off, im autistic. I got REALLY lucky and bought these on clearance from my local walmart for under $20 (box had a small hole and one side had to be taped shut, nothing else was wrong) and honestly? solid headphones. I use them for both HEAVY every day use (shopping, etc) and gaming (moving it to only every day use since they are now old and the side headphone pads are starting to wear out.) There is a default white noise that plays while they are on with no audio playing but it cuts off shortly after audio stops perfectly fine with me but i know some people may not like it. The turn on is EXTREMELY loud however, but if you can ignore that its pretty good. Sound is fairly crisp with decent enough bass and such for the full price. They dont cause me severe headaches. My only real complaint is that occasionally they will either only play audio in one ear (turn off/on fixes it), or cut audio entirely while im using it for pc (again, turning off/on fixes it, just a hassle to be in a match and have to stop, hide in a bush and hope nobody sees me while i disconnect them from my pc and fix it). Occasionally i do have to be careful which way my head tilts because now theyve stretched out to match my headshape and slide off if i learn my head back to far.Althrael

These are great overall headphones. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and have great sound quality. I’m definitely satisfied with these. First, in the area of comfort, it’s important to note that these are on-the-ear headphones, not over-the-ear headphones. If that’s an issue for you please just make sure you are aware. That being said, they are quite comfortable in my experience using them. They feel lightweight and stay secure without applying too much pressure on my ears. So wearing for a period of time won’t be bothersome. Much of this is based on personal preference though. And just as important as comfort is sound quality. The sound quality is great. You can hear highs and lows well, they have great bass, plenty of volume, and the clarity is excellent. These are great for music, podcasts, or whatever you want to listen to. The noise cancelling works well in the situations I’ve tried it in, such as with a space heater running next to me and in a busy room with an active family around me. I’m not traveling much these days, so there’s no way for me to try them in a plane or any really noisy environments like that. I expect they would work well though and give the noise cancelling you would need to comfortably listen to music or just to drown out the annoyance of plane noise. The connection was easy once I figured out what I was doing. The instructions advertised an automatic connection, but that didn’t pop up until after I had manually connected. Then it tied the headphones to my Google account which is supposed to help in the future. I also tried connecting to the JBL Headphones app to figure out what that would add to the experience, but that part didn’t work for some reason. It’s not necessary really, as the bluetooth connection on it’s own is easy enough and gets the job done well. The connection is strong, it didn’t drop off and it stayed connected as I walked away from my phone and sound quality stayed great. The build quality of these headphones is great. They’re amazingly sturdy despite how lightweight they are. There is nothing cheap about these things at all. I wouldn’t want to go throwing them in the bottom of a backpack or gym back without a case, but if you don’t mistreat them they should last for years. So in conclusion, the sound quality is great, the headphones are lightweight, and they are sturdy as anything. I highly recommend these headphones.J123j

I was looking for a decent, above-average headphones for years and finally settled on the Marshall MID A.N.C after some thorough research, receiving positive recommendations and detailed analysis from the Sales staff. Extremely happy with this model and brand, which produces a balanced amount of volume, bass, beats and treble. The cushioning on ears feel really snugged and does not hurt the ears even when listening at extended period. I recently a BOSS Katana Artist MkII amplifier (which I have reviewed elsewhere) and love it. However, it is somewhat of a pain to connect my phone and studio headphones to it to do a little nighttime jamming – both of those require cables, which makes setup and teardown enough pain that I don't want to do it. When I heard of the WAZA-AIR, I found it is almost exactly a Katana in convenient headphone shape. To be clear, I love this thing. It sounds good enough that I will play it and it is a snap to get started. I traded a Fender Mustang Micro for the WAZA-AIR, and the two are not even in the same ballpark. To be fair, the Mustang is about a third the price, so I'm not surprised, but if you are struggling to get a good sound from a Mustang – and if you have the cash – the WAZA-AIR is likely to do what you need. The software and firmware are…finicky at times. There are a few oddities that I can't explain that differ from the Katana software. For instance, it appears that I cannot use both a Booster and the Modulation at the same time. I don't get that. I can still connect a wireless MIDI controller to the WAZA-AIR, and that might open up more possibilities. It's also another investment, and I'm still trying to determine if being able to hit a pedal is worth it. Overall, I do recommend the WAZA-AIR. It sounds great, the convenience can't be beaten, and it is just very solid and feels right. There are a couple of strange parts that – so far – do not detract enough from the experience for me to try to change them. If you are reading this now, I recommend you give it a try. I am not sure, but I don't think anyone has ever invented this. It's just headphones that connect to your electric guitar wirelessly, right? In fact, I was just thinking of this, before I discovered these on Sam Ash – because i was sitting there, tangled in headphone wires, guitar cables, and I wondered – can't somebody do this wirelessly? So I did a search, and voi la! Here's the other thing – inside the phones, it sounds like outside the phones. In other words, these are not JUST wireless guitar headphones – they are wireless amplifier headphones. The one thing I don't like – and maybe someone knows the answer – but, the controls, through the app, are pretty limited. Or at least, it's not like a amp modeler, like Spark. But then, Spark is not like Amplitube – actually models hundreds of real amplifier setups – from the real world. If the WAZA could pair up with something like Amplitube, it would be over the top.kronikole

So far so good. A little hot with active pickups, def functionally. Appreciate the aux in to feed music or backing track while practicing and very portable. Worth the price.matta2z76

Had my reservations about buying this, a cheap headphone amp, as I have had others in the past and the o/d or distortion always sound awful. Don't get me wrong it isn't replacing my Marshall amp, but for a really portable and handy headphone amp it is great. I can use this, and move, whilst the kids are in bed, no more having to be 2 mtrs from my big amp….. As a practice and experimenting tool I love this!gastall1978

It's better than expected, though the design might not compatible with some guitar models. It requires an AAA battery. Works pretty well with any headphone. It also has an AUX port so that you can plug and play any songs you like and jam along. Thumbs up from me!wamin0
