I bought one of these with the intention of purchasing more for my classroom. Once I figured out how to use it (not hard), I fell in love. The app they recommend isn't the best which made it seem harder to use initially, but there are soooo many other amazing apps that work with it (I prefer the tonebridge app since it models any song effects you can think of and is free and foolproof). Now the device is super easy to use and I love how I can toggle between sending the feed into an amp or exclusively into headphones. These are an amazing headset/amp. They look sound and feel much more expensive than the actual cost. It is great to be able to practice without having to get out my amp and trail cables across the floor. I had read many, many reviews on these and from what I read I was concerned that the call quality would not be on par with what I needed. I wanted to avoid a headset with a mic that extended out enough to take the chance on these. 1.) I am not an audiophile and I didn't purchase these for getting the cleanest, most perfect sound. 2.) I spend all day on calls and needed something that was comfortable and allowed me a break from my usual AirPods. Having them in-ear in all day was becoming a pain. 3.) I paid $39 for these headphones in black which were selling for $149 in the other colors. They are not the newest model but that shouldn't deter anyone from buying these – for what I paid they're an awesome value; at full price my tune might change, given the sheer number of options and features available in the $149 – $249 range. For (cost) comparison I bought my son Spiderman novelty headphones for $25 So far they sound great when listening to music, and anything else. Good bass without sounding muddy or overly bass-y. Phone calls were pretty straight forward and without any drama. No complaints about being inaudible. For any one who is concerned: the call quality to me as the listener, is at least as good if not better than what I get with my gen 2 AirPods and that's all I needed them to accomplish. They were a little uncomfortable the first day or 2, likely due to never really using this style headphone and/or just having big 'ole ears but they are much better now. Now I am even able to use them without pain while wearing eyeglasses. Build quality is solid, battery life is longer than most people could reasonably anticipate needing. They are not ANC, but they isolate background noise fairly well. These come in at less than 1/2 the cost of a comparable model with ANC. It wasn't needed or worth the extra money for my use case which is generally limited to office use or watching videos in bed. The equalizer is pretty helpful for tuning the sound to one's needs. Im sure other reviewers have mentioned about the sound, the sound is acceptable to me even though my favourite is still my wired in-ear phones from a Japanese brand that I used to work for. But that came at a price that could have bought 3 sets of this so I don’t really expect the sound to be equivalent The phones fit me really well and they also fit my kindergartner – im 5’3” and she is 3’10”. That said, I find the normal sized headphones too large and cumbersome so I’m very glad to find something my size (real kids headphones don’t fit me either). Now I can enjoy TV when my husband is working from home in the same room and I can walk around the whole apartment still hearing what goes on with the programme. Even though this has no ANC and I can hear running water when I wash dishes, I don’t hear anything from further than 6ft away with these on. The feature that has some issues is the multipoint connection. When I connect to both the TV and the phone, the tv sound crackles and skips quite a bit. First off, im autistic. I got REALLY lucky and bought these on clearance from my local walmart for under $20 (box had a small hole and one side had to be taped shut, nothing else was wrong) and honestly? solid headphones. I use them for both HEAVY every day use (shopping, etc) and gaming (moving it to only every day use since they are now old and the side headphone pads are starting to wear out.) There is a default white noise that plays while they are on with no audio playing but it cuts off shortly after audio stops perfectly fine with me but i know some people may not like it. The turn on is EXTREMELY loud however, but if you can ignore that its pretty good. Sound is fairly crisp with decent enough bass and such for the full price. They dont cause me severe headaches. My only real complaint is that occasionally they will either only play audio in one ear (turn off/on fixes it), or cut audio entirely while im using it for pc (again, turning off/on fixes it, just a hassle to be in a match and have to stop, hide in a bush and hope nobody sees me while i disconnect them from my pc and fix it). Occasionally i do have to be careful which way my head tilts because now theyve stretched out to match my headshape and slide off if i learn my head back to far.Althrael

It was a great deal, and so far has been a real ear opener onto sonic tapestries hitherto unexplored. The interface seems to be built like a tank (time will tell), was straightforward to set up and the neighbours enjoy the results so much they bang on the wall with enthusiastic glee. I recently a BOSS Katana Artist MkII amplifier (which I have reviewed elsewhere) and love it. However, it is somewhat of a pain to connect my phone and studio headphones to it to do a little nighttime jamming – both of those require cables, which makes setup and teardown enough pain that I don't want to do it. When I heard of the WAZA-AIR, I found it is almost exactly a Katana in convenient headphone shape. To be clear, I love this thing. It sounds good enough that I will play it and it is a snap to get started. I traded a Fender Mustang Micro for the WAZA-AIR, and the two are not even in the same ballpark. To be fair, the Mustang is about a third the price, so I'm not surprised, but if you are struggling to get a good sound from a Mustang – and if you have the cash – the WAZA-AIR is likely to do what you need. The software and firmware are…finicky at times. There are a few oddities that I can't explain that differ from the Katana software. For instance, it appears that I cannot use both a Booster and the Modulation at the same time. I don't get that. I can still connect a wireless MIDI controller to the WAZA-AIR, and that might open up more possibilities. It's also another investment, and I'm still trying to determine if being able to hit a pedal is worth it. Overall, I do recommend the WAZA-AIR. It sounds great, the convenience can't be beaten, and it is just very solid and feels right. There are a couple of strange parts that – so far – do not detract enough from the experience for me to try to change them. If you are reading this now, I recommend you give it a try. I have both the Waza Air Guitar and Waza Air Bass and like them both. The headphones are comfortable and it's great to be wireless. Like others have mentioned, I do lose the Bluetooth signal from the transmitter to the headphones every now and then, but it isn't too bad. The intermittent loss of Bluetooth is easy to compensate for by just unplugging the transmitter from the cable jack, on either the guitar or bass, and re-plugging it in. Each time, when I first start using them, I'm careful to put the headphones on my coffee table, turn them on, and let them stay still for a little while, as not to confuse the gyros. They mention letting them stay still for a short while in the online information, and it seems to work, as I have not noticed the drifting others have mentioned. I do sometimes get a brief bit of static, but this is mostly on the Waza Air Bass set, and was possibly or partially due to some fret buzz I had before I got a good set up on the bass. The static might also occur a little bit more when the Bass is in active mode rather than a passive Bass mode. The thing I love about the Waza Air's is the ability to practice at all hours and not make too much sound that would bothering my neighbor. I've used the Mustang Micro guitar headphone amp, which is great too, but I like the cordless operation of the Waza Air. The Waza Air Bass is probably one of the few good solutions for headphones to use with a bass, as there aren't many other options. The Waza Air Guitar is a great solution for guitar, and though there are other options for guitar, so far I like using the Waza Air Guitar better. Since I have both the Bass and Guitar versions of the Waza Air I also have a total of two charge cables to charge both the transmitter and headphones at the same time, which I like. I mark the different components with a piece of Artist tape so I don't mix up the Guitar and Bass versions. I also am careful to charge each of the headphones with the correct original cable for each one. You cannot use the unit and charge it at the same time however. The transmitter often needs no charging after one use and seems to charge very quickly. The headphones take a little longer to charge and do not have as many hours of operation per charge as the transmitter. They say the headphones get about 5 hours of use per charge and the transmitter about 12 hours of use per charge. That said, I have never depleted the charge on either unit during one usage. I use my older standard Apple iPhone chargers (cubes with the green dots that are USB A connections) to charge the units, as they say not to use a rapid charger. Overall, I think both the Waza Air guitar and Waza Air Bass are great and I'm very happy I have them. They are a bit pricy, but not too bad, if you consider that you are getting a transmitter, a receiver, and headphones all included. Your experience might vary but I'm glad I got them, think they are great, and love practicing whenever I want.
I am not sure, but I don't think anyone has ever invented this. It's just headphones that connect to your electric guitar wirelessly, right? In fact, I was just thinking of this, before I discovered these on Sam Ash – because i was sitting there, tangled in headphone wires, guitar cables, and I wondered – can't somebody do this wirelessly? So I did a search, and voi la! Here's the other thing – inside the phones, it sounds like outside the phones. In other words, these are not JUST wireless guitar headphones – they are wireless amplifier headphones. The one thing I don't like – and maybe someone knows the answer – but, the controls, through the app, are pretty limited. Or at least, it's not like a amp modeler, like Spark. But then, Spark is not like Amplitube – actually models hundreds of real amplifier setups – from the real world. I recently a BOSS Katana Artist MkII amplifier (which I have reviewed elsewhere) and love it. However, it is somewhat of a pain to connect my phone and studio headphones to it to do a little nighttime jamming – both of those require cables, which makes setup and teardown enough pain that I don't want to do it. When I heard of the WAZA-AIR, I found it is almost exactly a Katana in convenient headphone shape. To be clear, I love this thing. It sounds good enough that I will play it and it is a snap to get started. I traded a Fender Mustang Micro for the WAZA-AIR, and the two are not even in the same ballpark. To be fair, the Mustang is about a third the price, so I'm not surprised, but if you are struggling to get a good sound from a Mustang – and if you have the cash – the WAZA-AIR is likely to do what you need. The software and firmware are…finicky at times. There are a few oddities that I can't explain that differ from the Katana software. For instance, it appears that I cannot use both a Booster and the Modulation at the same time. I don't get that. I can still connect a wireless MIDI controller to the WAZA-AIR, and that might open up more possibilities. It's also another investment, and I'm still trying to determine if being able to hit a pedal is worth it. Overall, I do recommend the WAZA-AIR. It sounds great, the convenience can't be beaten, and it is just very solid and feels right. There are a couple of strange parts that – so far – do not detract enough from the experience for me to try to change them. If you are reading this now, I recommend you give it a try. I have both the Waza Air Guitar and Waza Air Bass and like them both. The headphones are comfortable and it's great to be wireless. Like others have mentioned, I do lose the Bluetooth signal from the transmitter to the headphones every now and then, but it isn't too bad. The intermittent loss of Bluetooth is easy to compensate for by just unplugging the transmitter from the cable jack, on either the guitar or bass, and re-plugging it in. Each time, when I first start using them, I'm careful to put the headphones on my coffee table, turn them on, and let them stay still for a little while, as not to confuse the gyros. They mention letting them stay still for a short while in the online information, and it seems to work, as I have not noticed the drifting others have mentioned. I do sometimes get a brief bit of static, but this is mostly on the Waza Air Bass set, and was possibly or partially due to some fret buzz I had before I got a good set up on the bass. Don't get me wrong it isn't replacing my Marshall amp, but for a really portable and handy headphone amp it is great. If you are looking for a good practice amp modeler that is compact and has quite an array of effects and amps than the Pocket Pod should do the trick. I gig regularly and felt the Pocket Pod would be ideal for gigs where I didn't want to haul my tube amp around. Sound wise I'm not disappointed in hooking my pocket pod up to a sound board. However, where this product ultimately fails is there is NO On/Off switch! To activate the pod you plug your guitar directly into the input jack and it comes on. Once on you pretty much have to leave the guitar plugged in for your entire set or risk getting a loud pop through the PA system. And leaving the pod plugged in makes the pod get very warm and drains your batteries. I have a circuit breaker guitar cable so I can switch guitars without getting the dreaded pop in the PA system. I'm sure the people at Line 6 cut out the On/Off feature to save room. But I've never seen any piece of equipment that can't be turned off with a button. I purchased these headphones for use at the gym and possibly occasional online game use. The JBL headphones quickly connected to Bluetooth on my Samsung tablet. I had to bring up a hidden menu the first time connected to my Moto G Power 2021 phone so make sure location is turned on to the Hidden Menus system app. After initial connection, it became easy to connect to Bluetooth through Bluetooth settings. The headphones sound really good for a lesser expensive set. They are easily adjusted for a comfortable fit on the ears. The head part is padded although you can feel it after they've been on awhile. I have not tried answering a phone call on these. I use them mostly for music. These sure beats those earphones that kept falling out of my ears. Most phone chargers will work for these. The charging cord doesn't fit very tight so make sure the charging light illuminates. If the light turns white, you are not connected to Bluetooth.geigi41fisherman
Maybe I just have a really big head-OR I just need to get used to headphones again? I’ve been using various earphones for years, mid to upper edge quality. I’m more or less bedridden right now, going through Chemo and I purchased these to wear to my almost daily appointments. Right now, a comfortable fit is even more important than sound-although it is WONDERFUL to hear such great quality and an even greater price! My only real issue is I can’t wear them more than about 15min at a time because my ears get sore and I develop a headache after 30 min or so. I’m hoping that with frequent use, I “break them in” so-to-speak; OR just become more comfortable with use. I’m not going to return them because I realize it WILL take more than a few days to get used to. If I still can’t tolerate them after a month or so of use…my beautiful eldest daughter has a smaller head! Early Christmas present for her and her wife! They sound so good though and I DO want try try and keep them for myself! Other than that; everything worked GREAT out of the box: charge time, play length, pairing, controls, volume, bass and treble, distance, etc. ONLY other issue is I have to either keep it out of my dear kitty’s reach OR watch her when I have them on to make sure she doesn’t try stealing them again. When the headphones get low on charge, they beep at their max volume with a high pitch. This is obnoxious and probably damages your ears. If you aren't wearing the headphones, you can clearly hear it from 10 feet away. It also pauses the playback of whatever you were listening for couple seconds during the beep, so you have to rewind. If you thought that was already bad, it does this every couple minutes for 10+ times until it finally runs out of power or is recharged. What were the engineers thinking??? One of the worst design choices ever made and needs to get fixed asap for next batch of the product. One beep is enough, it should be up to the listener is he/she wants to recharge or not. It definitely shouldn't pause the playback and the beep shouldn't be so loud that it hurts your ears.Ahonen

I cant believe the power and features that this unit offer. From cell phone control, to recording, includes guitar and bass amps, Nux will destroy the market, this unit just replaced my Boss GT-1, Pod HD 500 and the guitar section of my tc helicon voicelive 3. Easy to carry , awesome effects, and very low price, no noticeable latency, and battery last enough for my gigs at church. Shimmer effect is killer and much better than many other units more expensive, I am really serious in getting also the nux mg30. Nux amps sound really good.Evaristo
It's not supposed to go this way. I'm supposed to exchange $100 for a scarcely tolerable practice toy that ranks 1.75x give or take below my mediocre expectations. I'm supposed to struggle with whether to return it now or just learn to deal with it. It had been so long since going otherwise that I'd totally forgotten that once in a super rare while, maybe b/c my good deed count + sum of past sufferings punches thru some magic karmic threshold and a shockingly good thing happens. So a full day passed b4 I had time to do the Nux MPP a sesh. It was a day wasted. This lil fkr's factory presets pleasantly suprised me. But after downloading the app and < 10 min of tweak to build a deliciously melting, studio quality Robin Trower flanged OD, I realized somebody's really looking out for my health and well being. Ok maybe it's just the techs at Nux. Fine with me. They nailed it. This first ad hoc sound design attempt using their mobile app delivered 2-3x above expectations. I got these with my MacBook as a student deal in the colour black. These have lasted a good 3 years for me. The leather on the ears are now starting to come untucked from the ear piece but the sound quality is astonishing. I love how strong and deep the bass gets and it holds a great charge, even if you only charge them for 15 minutes. They last hours and still hold up their great battery life to this day, 3 years later. I think that the price for them is very expensive but they do last and I think the quality is there, no doubt. Again, I did get them in a student deal so I didn’t pay for them. I think if you listen to some loud music, there is some sound leakage but overall they’re a great pair and have helped me survive and enjoy college more. If you want to splurge on a sleek and good quality pair of headphones , these are a good way to go.meghan.y
I bought these on John Lewis back in 2020. I've left it awhile before reviewing, so I can give an honest review, with plenty of use, rather than reviewing right away. Pros: The sound quality is very clear & crisps, with a good ammount of bass. They look good, I chose matt black, they're stylish. I pair them with my android smart phone, I've also used them with my TV. No issues what so ever and the Bluetooth range is good. The battery life is great, they last for hours, which you can't get from smaller headphones. Cons: The band can sometimes feel restrictive, but I understand they are tight fitting (so they don't keep slipping down) But after prolonged use, it can feel alittle uncomfortable & after a while you do get damp ears. Overall BEATS SOLO 3 are a good wireless option. They don't look huge and fold up compact in their own storage bag. I like to try the new 'BEATS fot Pro True Wireless' Earpods to do a true comparison of the two, at some point.SarahCool
I purchased these a few years ago for work. I worked in a factory with my dad that painted care parts I either inspected everyone's finished parts or used air tools to fix defects in the paint (loved that job!) Easiest job I've ever had though it was pretty hard for a lot of people to learn. Anyways, it was LOUD in there especially using the air tools all day. I had wired headphones at one point that ended up getting snagged in my buffer ripping the cord it smacked me in the face and left a huge welt I was pissed lol and after work that day I went to Wal-mart to finally get Bluetooth headphones. I saw these and thought it would be perfect they would block out the noise and no cord to catch on my tools. But I had a really hard time giving up $300 for headphones I mean I wouldn't go broke buying them I just don't usually spend that kind of money on myself I would rather get my kids something. I got them thinking I would most likely return them, well I took them out used them at work the next day and couldn't bring them back I loved them! They were comfortable and blocked out all the noise from the tools and blowers the battery life is amazing I can use them for days without charging them and they are pretty sturdy. Only thing that sucked was the ear pads are white and got dirty really fast. Idk they were worth it to me for sure, now that I'm not working (I had my daughter 18 months ago) I share with my kids and they really enjoy them too.rachel.m
