Harmony model h44 electric guitar, 1950s (used) condition: used, very good our notes: this vintage harmony model h44 hails from the 1950s. the finish had been stripped off at some point, but paint inside the control cavity indicates it was probably a copper color. stripped, the neck-thru-body feature is revealed. the fingerboard is in very good condition, fret wear is light to moderate. the action is fairly high, about 9/64 at the 12th fret. the action could be taken down by reducing the bridge thickness, but we elect to leave it as is because it makes a sweet slide guitar in its current condition. the volume control works cleanly (having been sprayed). the tone knob is ineffective as is; the capacitor is probably kaput, considering its age. the switch, assuming that it is on/off remains on regardless of position. the tuners appear to be original and function well. all in all a real sweet guitar. this is a harmony h44 solid hardwood easy-to-handle electric guitar – light weight and designed in smooth cutaway

Vintage, rare, made in the usa! 1965 harmony holiday model 1478, also sometimes labeled as the harmony model h19, as well as the silvertone silhouette . all original parts except for control harness electronics (replaced 2022), control knobs (replaced 2022), strings (replaced 2022), and upgraded tuning machines. this was not a guitar that sat in a closet for half a century! it was played, it was used, possibly abused, has acquired plenty of natural mojo, battle scares, chips, dings, dents, scuffs, all just cosmetic wear and tear. any structural cracks have been addressed, glued, repaired, and sparingly touched up with paint, stain, and clear coat. this is a vintage guitar over 50 years old! please do not expect it to play like a 2022 squier stratocaster from down at guitar center!all of my guitars have been fully tested and are functional. all of my guitars have been set up (neck straightness adjusted when possible, fingerboard …
