I wanted an acoustic that wouldn't break the bank and that had a nice rich sound. This was it! This guitar is well build and stays in tune. The maple inlay on the back of the guitar is beautiful. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. From awesome looks to awesome sound, the GN93 is rock solid! Thanks Takamine!evansj87
First things first this guitar is amazing. Exactly as described and plays great. This was my first acoustic guitar and I had several questions about this one versus a few other models. Josh answered many questions that I had about this one and was extremely patient and informative with his responses. I will recommend anyone to reach out to them to see if they can help you. I truly felt that he was answering my question not to sell this guitar but to help me out in my quest to find the right one for me. Stand up guys! I received the guitar very well packaged and safe much faster than I thought it would take. The guitar was 99% in tune and only required a couple of minor tuning to get it to start playing. I will always look to these guys for any of my guitar needs in the future before I look anywhere else.bvericker
Has more bass and cleaner notes than the baby Taylor .. More sustain as a full size guitar would have..oprystationusa

Reviews:
Overall, I'd say that I'm very happy with the guitar. It plays well, and it sounds great. I had to tweak it a bit, though. It had a respectable amount of bow in the neck when I received it. I've torqued most of it out, but I have the truss rod tightened as far as I dare to. The action is still a bit high at the 12th fret, but I'll take care of that when I change out the strings. It sounds very chimey and bright with no bottom end at all, hopefully a beefier set of strings will help with that. Skinny frets, I wish they were a bit more robust. String spacing (between pairs) isn't consistent between the nut and the bridge, I may notch the bridge a bit to eliminate that. Otherwise, it's a beautifully built guitar and a great value for the price. You won't be disappointed.
I had a cheap 12 string guitar for about almost two years. I had been playing corridos during this time. However, I had played guitar for several years. Mainly rock and other stuff. Well, after I got it, I could play all the solos I couldn't really play clean. I guess the other guitar really was bad, or this one is great. Funny thing, I had a really good player tell me to not buy this model but the more expensive one. Well, I'm glad I decided to go with this one. This guitar sounds great and it's extremely easy to play. The guitar stays in tune fairly well for a 12 string guitar. The action is low. I haven't tried it the electronics aside from the tuner which works fairly well compared to my snark. I do have a Taylor and Martin guitar, and the tone on this guitar is pretty clean.Juan
This Guitar plays like a dream, sounds great no matter if it is plugged in or not, stays in tune and looks great. This is a great price for a guitar of this quality, but thanks to another dealers daily deal and Guitar Center's price matching, it was even better. I was able to get this out of layaway for $240 less. I am very happy with this guitar. I have not played in a band for a while, but getting back into practice and plan to start back with some solo acoustic gigs. Having this awesome new guitar is surely an inspiration to help me want to practice more.Kip

Great product Happy with my purchaseReviewed by guitarguitar custome
I love this guitar! Great quality at an affordable price. Plays like a dream, chords easy and sounds amazing. I am an "advanced beginner", this takamine blows away the Yamaha I started with, which is a good entry level guitar on it's own. Muscian's friend was a great experience, easy transaction and very fast shipping…will definitely be coming backtexastarheel7
Looks great value, and looks like a keeper, for the perceived quality
4. Takamine Gn30ce Acoustic Electric Guitar Black
Product Details:
The gn30ce uses takamine's most famous body design – the nex – to create an affordable guitar that is big on sound and low on price. this body size is a little bit smaller than a standard jumbo size but retains much of the big sound that jumbos are noted for. this is ideal because the guitar itself is a good deal more comfortable to get to grips with and is more 'lap-friendly' than a jumbo! sonically, the body size works with the solid spruce top and laminated mahogany to produce a strong, balanced sound with a bright response that records exceptionally well and suits strumming techniques in particular. there is a cutaway on the lower bout to facilitate upper fret access. the black finish has some nicely contrasting black and white binding around it to finish things neatly.takamine's own design tp-4t preamp and pickup system is fitted to ensure live performances sound professional and inspiring. this guitar is a handsome and affordable choice for players looking for a good songwriting machine with a balanced, resonant tone that will just keep on improving the more you play it.

Reviews:
What a superb guitar at a real, real bargain price from Korg. I read loads of reviews before buying and they're all true – a beautiful tone in the lounge but really comes into its own when used plugged in on stage. Needed very little set up (all new accoustics need some initial adjustments) Absolutely no regrets.gmrals

When I'm sitting at home, my go to guitar is my Martin 000-28. If that guitar is not in my hands then I have my gn75ce in my lap. This guitar was playable and set up well right out of the box. Good enough that it's not worth the money to take to luthier to have it dialed in. I don't use the electronics on this guitar so I can't comment on that. As far as everything else , this is a well-constructed durable mid-range priced guitar. I'm quite pleased that I purchased it. it makes a wonderful addition my collection. It's a beautiful looking axe. I would highly recommend this guitar to anybody just starting to learn how to play or somebody wanting to add to their collection without spending thousands of dollars.Matthew Topp

Reviews:
This is an amazing guitar for the money. I've owned Martin D18's that didn't sound this good! I used to play Bluegrass at one time and at any given point owned 4 or 5 Martins. This guitar could sell for $1000 and it would still be a good deal. This guitar is loud and has great tone with a good punch, but can be mellow as well. I'm blown away with the workmanship, quality and sound. I defy you to find a better guitar for the money.Mike S.
My daughter's first guitar that she picked out herself. She is an avid player and absolutely loves the sound. When she tried it out, she knew she had to have it, and played it all day every day for days after the purchase. She continues to shred on it! It seems like a super solid and well made piece of equipment.NICOLE

I have never bought a guitar online, so I was a bit nervous about it, but was I oh so pleased when I got it! I have heard Takamine guitars for years playing writers nights in Nashville, so I knew it would sound great, but I had never played one. I was so impressed! I'm sold on Takamine for life now! Solid build and what a rich wonderful sound, both acoustically and using the preamp. Wonderful product Takamine. It also looks great!Don Johns Music
I've always been a fan of Takamine guitars. They play and sound amazing. I tried this one at my local Sam Ash and was blown away with how full and rich the tone was. It sounded better than everything else in its price range and definitely hits above its weight class! And it's simply beautiful to look at. At it's price point, it makes a great beginner guitar, but the quality will hold up as one's skills improve. I can't rave enough about this guitar!Shawn
I have been playing guitar for 15 years, and this guitar is very very nice. It has a great sound and it looks and feels fantastic. The look is more flat than other typical guitars that have a high gloss finish. The internal pickups sounds as good through an amp as it does acoustic. The only draw back is it feels a little heavy compared to some other acoustic electrics I have played. That being said it is not so drastic that it would bother most players. It's a fantastic deal for the price in my opinion, and I would buy it again.ANDREW

I have always thought that the best low end guitars on the market, the most guitar for the dollar, etc. are Takemine's. This GD30 is a prime example of that. The quality in finish, tone and the playability are typical of an instrument one would pay a lot more for in other brands. For someone who doesn't want to pay a whole lot of money for a guitar but still wants one that is playable, looks good, sounds decent and will last a while, you really can't beat the Takemine.beau900
I used to play 12 strings for fun then stopped playing when I thought I plateaued. Now I'm all rusty and stiff.HGJ
On the guitar, it feels and plays very high end. Upgrading from a budget beginner the difference is night and day. Very low action makes this easy to play. Solid top, D'Addario strings, built in tuner. Wow, I am beyond impressed. Worth every penny. On Walmart online, again awesome. This guitar was flawless and they actually sent the guitar foam wrapped in the hard case within a thick cardboard box. This is a precision musical instrument and it was packaged and handled as such.coben

I typically play steel string acoustics. I wanted a quality nylon string guitar without the wide flat neck of a standard classical guitar. This is it. Extremely well made with quality woods (no laminates) that has a great sound (both amplified and unplugged). It does not have a large body and projection is somewhat limited when playing unplugged but has incredible sound both amplified and not amplified. Can be played quietly when everyone else has gone to sleep, or can flood the house with music if they're awake. The action and intonation on this guitar was fabulous right out of the box and I didn't have to make any setup adjustments. This is an awesome guitar and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nylon string acoustic.John
In 1981 I had three guitars, two of them acoustics, and one of those was an Ovation Country Artist–a nylon-string guitar with a 14 fret, comparatively narrow neck. It was my first good guitar, but when I left for grad school, I kept only a Martin OO-18, and sold the Ovation. In the 30 years since, I have been trying to find a replacement, I tried various Ibanez and Yamaha guitars, but they didn't have what it took. Then, a couple of months ago, needing a brain break, I left work and took myself to the acoustic room at Sam Ash. There was another guy in there playing, so I looked for a quiet instrument, and took this one down off the wall. Immediately, I knew that it was special. The clarity of the tone, and the richness of the bass, it was all there. The other guy liked the sound too, and soon we were jamming and telling stories. Both of us tried other neoclassical guitars, and agreed that this one was best. I loved the guitar at first note, but when I looked at the price tag, I knew I could never own it. So I bought (online) a similar guitar, but it lacked the feel and sound of this one. My wife heard me playing, asked what I thought about the similar guitar I'd bought, and I explained that it wasn't the same. Then she told me to buy this one. So I did, And I have been playing it daily since then. The OO-18 is still with me and still gets some time, but right now my fingers itch to play and hear this one. Did it replace my long-gone Country Artist? Not exactly–this Takamine is significantly superiod to the Country Artist in all respects. Even if I don't play it plugged in 🙂Andy M_S

I spent two days in the Jackson, MS GC center playing every acoustic-electric in my price-range (and quite a few that exceeded it) – while ALL of them sounded good, I was looking for a specific sounds and feel that would allow me to get back into playing after a wrist-injury that still brings fatigue and pain with some guitar necks. The moment I picked up this guitar and strummed a chord, I thought, "This is IT. It's the ONE I've been searching for…". It plays beautifully – just the richest, cleanest and crisp rich sound imaginable. It's perfect for strumming and finger-picking and even now, weeks later – every time I pick it up to play it, it still delivers that same "wow" factor that sold me in the store.
I record at home for my own entertainment. I used to be in a band when I was younger but I get a lot of pleasure doing my own thing. This guitar while not expensive sounds exceptional. The unplugged tone has it's own personality and the guitar plugged in is it's own animal. It's like having 2 guitars. If you want a good acoustic/electric guitar to jam with, get this one!!!BigDex
