Rock Band Guitar Tips For Sale (2024 Update)

Recently acquired a Peavey Predator that was in a storage wear house since 1991 & was never sold new. I wante to age it up a bit so I changed out the pickups to fender strats with aged white covers, added an aged white pearloid pick guard with aged white knobs & pickup selector switch knob. This trem arm end was an added touch but I didn't like being forced to buy two in a pack just to get one.Pa Jim

The aged tremolo arm tip is very functional and looks nice. Non-threaded tips are always hard to replace. I put the tremolo arm in a vice with folded leather round it for protection. Then use my wife's hair dryer to heat the old tip to remove it. I then heat the arm and new tip to install it. The process still takes some serious pulling and pushing! A little patience is needed but it works well.Austin

I obtained this to replace the damaged part on my guitar. Although it appears expensive for what it is – it is an original part, and supplied in original branded packaging. Just one thing to bear in mind is that depending on the age of the guitar this is going to be used on, some tremolo arms are 5mm in diameter while others are 6mm. This particular item is to fit the vintage 5mm diameter arm.raz6452

The software version that came with our purchase was v1.0. When you insert the disk, the game console checks to see if there's a new version. We played v1.0 while v2.03 downloaded in the background. The game is VERY jumpy and pauses often which made it impossible to play – very annoying! We thought maybe the update download was causing troubles but we had troubles even after the download was complete. The new version 2.03 won't even start!!! I've opened two support tickets with the game manufacturer (not Playstation) and they give me the "reboot and it will work" – not the case. I've updated firmware to the instruments and all kinds of steps to resolve. At this point the manufacturer won't even respond. I was so happy to actually find this bundle. If you can find this during the pandemic for a good price do not hesitate, but it immediately. This has been so much fun for my family and friends. The guitar is my personal favorite but no matter what role you take on, you are 100% going to have a blast. They also have an amazing sound track with a lot more to offer via DLC.delorein.h

Rockband 4 is the definitive experience on PS4. Guitar Hero Live sucks on so many levels. This however keeps the basic formula fresh! With a better wireless guitar controller (which took me a while to get used to but now I love it!) and updated graphics and effects, Rockband remains true to what made these games so great (unlike GH Live, seriously that game sucks). HOWEVER your enjoyment of all these types of games always comes down to lag compensation, if you haven't got your TV set up just right you're gonna have a bad time. It took me weeks to get mine set up just right, but once I did I was shredding through songs on expert like I was born to it! BE WARNED this is very much a DLC song. The on disc track list is the weakest of any Rock Band/ Guitar Hero game for a long time. I literally only bought this for that one 'Mumford and Sons' and 'The Killers' song :p But after sinking an embarrassing amount of money into downloadable tracks, I now have over 300 songs in my library and it's GREAT! I play this ALL THE TIME! Thankfully, Harmonix have had the best post-game launch support I've seen in ages, with regular game updates that actually improve performance and fix little bugs, and by far the best part is that there has been a CONSTANT stream of new DLC almost every week, with not just old favourites, but a tonne of modern songs that a popular right now! I love checking each week and seeing a song I love hearing on the radio being brought to Rockband 4! Another major downside is that although your old guitar and drum controllers will work with this game, you cannot sign in to an PSN account with them, so your scores will never be saved AND it causes alot of performance issues in band play. I HOPE it's not just a problem with the game like in the previous titles where it works fine when there's only one player, but as soon as you get two people playing it lags and makes you miss notes that you hit. If this is still a problem even if you have all modern controllers then THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! I SHOULD NOT BE PENALIZED WHEN I'M GOING 100% ON A SONG AND JUST BECAUSE MY FRIEND ISN'T DOING SO WELL IT SAYS I MISS NOTES. But other than that the game is incredibly fun. Rock band has surpassed itself with its latest version of the Rock Band Stratocaster. No clacky strum bar that ruins play, this time has even improved on previous models, that compared to the racket made by Guitar Hero peripherals is playable without having to use noise cancelling headphones. And because the neck buttons are quite subtle it also looks like a real guitar. OK one that's 3/4 the size. My new fave guitar peripheral.houndofculaine

Still getting use to them but so far it's held up nicely to everything I've thrown at it. It's definitely got the grip and the the flexibility together which to me are uncommon in one pick. So with those 2 things and it's versatility I'd definitely rate this 5 stars. It may not be for everyone but I like them so far. As far as the music I'm playing, it falls right where I need to be with playing metal all the way down to simple strumming on the electric and acoustic guitars.Michael

I have been a music teacher for several years now and one of the hardest things for me to teach during lessons is how to grip a pick, mainly because I prefer finger-picking (mainly because I used to have a hard time with picks)… however, the Davas fit nicely in my hand and I don't have to worry about dropping it. I love the multi gauge design and the comfort. In fact, I noticed such a difference in my playing, that I let students try them. The change in their comfort level and ability was so instant, I now give each of my students a Dava pick when they start. I've noticed the students who scoop strings have stopped, and the pick droppers can hold on for an entire song. The only drawbacks are that they cost nearly $1/pick, and if you do a lot of heavy strumming, they get worn down and bend/break quicker than others. I know we all like something different when it comes to picks but I'm quite impressed with these Dava pics, particularly the yellow ones which seem a little softer and warmer. Great grip for anyone who hangs onto their pic fairly lightly while strumming. A tighter grip stiffens them up for picking. Give 'em a go, they may be what you're looking for.charlie-c-62

I used a stylus pick a few years back and was looking for one when I found these. I thought this would be the closest to a stylus pick I'm gonna find. I bought 'em, and I love 'em. These picks have inspired me to work my guitar with better technique which makes my playing better, and anything that makes my playing better is just what I want. Inexpensive, sturdy and the thumb and finger grooves are perfect. Pick up a set of these picks, you'll love 'em.Mykoe

I've been trying a lot of different materials and this group of horn picks has gained a place in the collection. These generate their own full sounds as they are clearly different type horn or "tusq" which is a blend one seen used for the nut creating a very full sound as well making a guitar sound very different. I'll recognize when someone is using a pick like this visually anyway. They sound great!CJ

This is a reasonable package for its price. The mp3 tracks are professionally done. The play along vocals are a pleasant accompaniment also. This would be a precursor for those wanting to improve their musical abilities and skills in a fun way, maybe with future options in mind or as just a personal achievement in rebuilding confidence.smalleaglelozo
