1. Electro-Harmonix 9v Power Supply
Product Details:
The electro-harmonix ehx9.6dc-200 is the player’s choice of battery eliminator for many of the world’s most popular effects pedals including ehx, boss, mxr, ibanez and others. it is a 9.6 volt dc/200ma linearly regulated power supply with 2.1mm x 5.5mm center negative barrel plug. to check if your pedal uses the ehx9.6dc-200, please refer to the list on the ehx website uk9.6v (united kingdom) 9 volt dc mains adapter will power most pedals and stomp-boxes ensure you never run out of power!
Reviews:
If your using one of those 3.5 mm adapters, and 9 volt daisy chain, you need one of these. I personally think you should toss the daisy chain in the trash, it's not the way to go. Older Electro Harmonix, DOD, MXR, and a few other companies pedals run better with the slightly higher 9.6 volt output. Even if you have one of those power bricks, if it doesn't have 9.6, or 10 volt output, you may still want this. Providing your pedals with the correct output voltage, from an isolated source (adapter or power supply brick), will always give the best results. You should have noticeably less line noise by following these rules as well. On the adapter itself, I've owned a few of these over the years, and they're one of the more durable ones out there. The plug part isn't incredibly huge or heavy either, which is nice.weatherreport08
Got this for my CryBaby Wah and an old DOD pedal. Works great. 1/8 plug.jk
2. Ernie Ball P06191 Volt Power Supply
Product Details:
Don’t step onstage without the ernie ball volt power supply. for musicians on the move, this ultra-compact, road-ready unit puts a complete powering solution in the palm of your hand. connect all your favorite digital and analog pedals to multiple high current dc outputs for clean, regulated power. relax and rely on thermally protected, short circuit-proof design with ultra-low noise operation. when the road calls, the volt demands a place on your pedalboard. when your pedals are the heart of your rig, the ernie ball volt is the one-stop solution. it couldn’t be easier to plug the volt into the venue’s outlet and feed power to every analog or digital pedal on your board via the five 9 or 18 volt dc outputs. and while direct outlet power is often inconsistent, the volt provides your pedals with far cleaner, fully regulated power with complete electrical isolation. lose the frustrating buzz from your audio, and ensure your signature sound is always ready to go, with crystal-clean powering to everything from classic wahs to modern overdrives.

Powers up everything on my sub board, fits nicely and does what it should. Only concern was the Talkbox (18V, 1000ma) but it seems to work just fine! I powered up everything simultaneously (never would happen in a performance) – all lights stayed bright & no sound degradation or noise.Mojodelic

This supply performs quite well and has very little RF radiation. The only thing I do not like about it is its running temperature. Running my Drake receiver with less than a 2 amp load makes this supply run really hot! The transistor on the backside is too hot to touch. This observation does not bode well for longevity.nunubee
I bought this for a 12V CB in my house. When using the power supply there is a noticeable hum coming from my CB. It's worse when I transmit. I've never had this problem so I'm thinking it's the power supply. I went out in my Jeep and talked to my wife over it and I can not hear the hum in the transmissions so I'm going to go ahead and keep it. Not sure I would recommend.Alfreda
The Pyramid PS14KX power supply is just what I need—12 volts at 12 amperes. Actually, 13.8 volts at 12 amperes. The 13.8 volts insures the device I am running receives all the power it requires. The power supply features temperature and overload protection— valuable insurance against fire. A word of caution: the heat sinks located on the back of the unit get very warm (which is normal), so be sure to keep heat sensitive objects away from the back. Also, there are ventilation holes all over the chassis box. Don't cover the unit with anything which might block this ventilation, as that could cause overheating, and it could shut down. This unit is more a utility power supply, and does not offer elegance—but it suits my application perfectly. One more note: There are two power terminals with black and red nuts to attach the power output cord, so you may need to purchase an adapter to connect it to the device you are running. Make sure you get the polarity correct!ChazProd

So far, really impressed with this edition of the pedal power. The new Voodoo X4 is perfect for tight spaces or a small pedal board, and it's the size and weight of a pack of cigarettes! I have thirteen pedals on my board, a Voodoo Power Plus running 9 pedals, now the X4 is powering the remaining four. Before I had a big mess of wires with those 9v ac adapters that all have oversized plug/prong ends that take up too much space (my eight outlet power strip only fit four). Now I have two cords coming out of the board, powering thirteen pedals! No noise, no hum, whisper quiet, and built to last. No noise with a Mini Cry Baby on board either. Voodoo Labs Power is a smart buy.The Electric Healer
I've been using the X4 by Voodoo Lab for months, and enjoying the small size, light weight, and reliable isolated "juice," lol. Not much I can add to the other reviews, except: V/L developed this power pack to *fit* under the smaller low profile pedalboards. So read the specs. I'll be buying another X4 soon. Reviews:
Just received my Jackery Explorer 290 Portable Power Solar Power Generator a few days ago and have been testing it out. First off I must say that the build quality of this product is very sturdy and does not feel cheap. Along with the Jackery Explorer 290 comes an AC & AC Adapter, Car Charger Cable, cloth pouch, and user documentation. It's recommended to fully charge the power station before putting it to use, which took me roughly 5 to 6 hours for it to be fully charged. Simply plug in the wall adapter into the DC Input port on the front of the power station. Also on the power station is 2 standard USB ports, an AC Output port, as well as a Car Port. There is also a small LCD display on the front which illuminates when display button is pressed. This shows current battery power as well as power being used. Once fully charge, the power station is fairly simple and easy to use. Just plug in any small electronics you may need to charge or small appliances or devices, you may be using while out on a camping trip. Great for charging cell phones, tablets, laptops, or even a CPAP machine. I recently purchased and tested another similar power station by another company within the same price range as the Jackery 290, and that power station features a larger LCD display, an additional AC output port, as well as a USB-C port which comes in hand now that more and more products are switching over to USB-C. Now this is not necessarily a deal-breaker, but just wanted to state that point. The other power station was able to handle a bit more than the Jackery Explorer 290, but this is still a great product.Mistabritt
I’ve been looking for a battery generator to take on weekend camping trips for a long time and Jackery has always caught my eye. They’ve always had great reviews and seemed to offer tons of power to charge whatever I needed on overnight camping trips. My only problem was the ones I kept seeing were expensive because they offered so much power. Then came this 290! The price point was great and based on the specs it would charge my phones and devices on a weekend camping trip no problem. Out of the box this thing is dead simple. It comes with an AC and DC adapter to charge it and let’s you charge devices with a normal 120v outlet, 2 usb and a cigarette lighter. Charging up via wall outlet takes a few hours, so I just left it and came back to a fully charged generator before our trip. From what I understand, charging via cigarette lighter takes forever so I didn’t even try it. There is also an option to purchase Jackery solar panels that can charge on the go. This is a really cool idea, but the panels are outrageously expensive and you can only use proprietary panels on the Jackery, no third party here. The device held a charge great, I’ve used it to charge cell phones and laptops and even ran a PA system off of it for a little while and had no trouble getting through a weekend camping trip. One of the biggest surprises was how light this generator was. It is considerably lighter than I expected, which made it great for hiking into camp. I would say this is perfect for a weekend warrior, though if you are needing continuous power or have devices that are very power hungry, I would recommend getting one of the bigger Jackery. But if you just need to charge phones, run some camp lights for a few hours this is perfect!Clshipp91
The Jackery Explorer 290 power generator is a great choice for anyone that spends time off of the power grid camping or anywhere that doesn’t have power outlets available to charge up devices. It is also an excellent idea to have one or two of them available in case of an extended power outage. Since I live in Florida, which has a yearly risk of hurricane related power disruptions, I am looking forward to having it at the ready in case it is needed. I especially like that it provides power without the excessive noise and dangerous carbon monoxide fumes of a gas generator. As long as you understand the limitations, I think anyone will be pleased with the performance and capabilities of the Jackery Explorer 290. It can handle powering devices that draw up to 200 watts using the power outlet. It also provides power from two USB-A ports, and a single 12V car socket. It is charged using the included AC adapter that plugs into a wall outlet, or the included DC adapter that plugs into a 12V vehicle socket. The ability to charge it using a vehicle makes it especially useful and versatile. Very nicely done Jackery! Surprisingly it only takes about 6 hours to charge it fully from empty. Since it is a lithium ion battery, it will discharge itself at no more than about 5 percent per month. This makes it very suitable for storage until it is called into service. In addition to the AC and DC charging cables, also included is a quality zippered soft storage case with the Jackery logo. Available to purchase separately is a solar panel. The Jackery Explorer 290 power generator is a powerhouse that provides more than enough power to charge several different devices multiple times. It will do everything an external battery can, but better because of its size, weight, design and capacity to hold and deliver a charge. Highly recommended for anyone!Kotor

Reviews:
These Jackery battery backup power sources are great for peace in mind when losing your utility power is a possibility. I can’t sleep without my CPAP, but the power it draws with the humidifier running over an eight hour span is beyond the capacity of some of the backups out there. My previous backup would only run about 4 hours. My Jackery 550 still has 15% left after running my CPAP with the humidifier running all night in the 110 socket and it has 44% left after 8 hours plugged into the 12 volt socket. I bought a 12 volt adapter for my ResMed Airsense 10. The Jackery also has the pass through capability, meaning it can be charging at the same time you’re drawing from it so if the power should go out during the night there’s no disruption. I researched buying a deep cycle battery, but they’re just as expensive as the Jackery, but much heavier. My Jackery 550 weighs 13 pounds. If I need to recharge the Jackery and the power’s still out I can plug it into my Champion 2500 watt dual fuel generator or plug it into my truck 12 volt port (cigarette lighter) or recharge with solar panels. The front outlets and switches are well designed and laid out. There’s a little display that shows the current percentage of the charge. It also shows the input wattage it’s drawing when charging and the output wattage the appliance you have plugged into it is drawing as it’s running. One very important thing you need to remember: There are three switches that turn on and off each of the three power sources, 110 outlet, 12 volt car port, and USB sockets. Whichever power source you’re using must be turned on. It can be confusing because you might be a little excited to try it out like I was especially if the Jackery is on the floor and you don’t have a good view of the front of the unit. I plugged my CPAP in when I first got the Jackery and then scratched my head a bit wondering why it wasn’t powered on. The switches themselves aren’t real apparent, but they light up a green light when on. Conversely, make sure all switches for power sources you are NOT using are OFF. Especially turn OFF all switches when you’re not using the Jackery because they draw power when they’re on. If you charge up the Jackery to 100% and put it away for a month or more with switches left on you won’t have 100% next time you go to use it. I put mine away at 100% charge with all switches off for 3 weeks and it was still at 100% so it holds a charge very well. I’ve uploaded some pics of the front of the unit showing switches on and off. It comes in a very nice box with foam pads and a handle that I will use to keep it from getting dinged up in the back of my truck when I’m going somewhere. I know there’s a lot of these battery backups on the market and I’m sure there are others that might be on par with the Jackery, but I can’t determine how equal or how much better they might be, nor do I need to. I’m very happy so far with every aspect of my Jackery 550. It fits my needs very well and I recommend to anyone that might be looking for a back up power source. They also have a smaller unit and I believe two even larger capacity units.Carl B
Glad I purchased the Explorer 1000 Power Station coupled with the Jackery 100w solar panel SolarSaga. I use it for my 27’ boat due to how quiet the unit is during operation. It powers my mini fridge with no problem and gets enough juice from the sun with a single solar panel. I plan on purchasing another SolarSaga 100w to charge a bit faster. However, one so far one has done the job with the amount of output power I use. I was gifted an off brand 100w solar panel for Christmas and it did not perform nearly as well as the SolarSaga. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $ on a SolarSaga. We often use the Explorer Power Station to charge our phones, run the mini fridge, and power my led light strips all throughout the boat. When I have the SolarSaga plugged in while powering my mini fridge, it drains the battery much slower and if the sun is strong enough, sometimes it continues to charge or stays consistent. The portability is extremely convenient. When I don’t feel like using the big boat, I hop on my dinghy or go pier fishing and take the jackery with me. The size of the unit and grab handle make it easy. I plug my light under DC power and plug in my radio into AC. Runs for hours. When it gets too cold it will even power a mini heater with no problem. Of course the more output power you use, the faster it will drain. Although, I’m very impressed with how long the Explorer Power Station lasts despite having multiple things plugged into it. I’m excited to take it camping and love the piece of mind that if there was ever a black out or some sort of reason we lose power and find ourselves off the grid, I will still have portable power.SoCalFlip
The Jackery Explorer 1000 is my favorite solar generator so far. I hope they come out with a 2000 Watt version that includes all of the new features found on the updated Jackery Explorer 500. The well planned and smartly designed control panel layout of the Explorer 1000 is simply a pleasure to use. For future models, I hope they mount the lcd display on top, include a tilt display or install a tilt-back kickstand. When the Jackery is on the ground, the display is difficult to see without tilting the unit back. Since the new iPhones do not come with a USB-C charger, the Jackery’s USB-C port came in handy as my only USB-C charger. Jackery batting 1000, iPhone batting a big fat ZERO on that front. The included Solarsaga parallel Anderson to 2 DC Y adapter cable makes it easy to connect two barrel connected solar panels to the Jackery Anderson solar input. It would have been more versatile and convenient to include an MC4 to Anderson cable, with the ability to use one solar panel. That being said, the included adapter also works with two barrel-connected non-Jackery solar panels if desired. Based on the outstanding build quality of the Explorer 1000, I expect to have many years of dependable, trouble free, and pure sine wave off-grid power.GQ

I bought my first CS-6 to use with my Pedatrain Nano+. The slim profile fits perfectly under the board. Buying another one for my DIY medium size board that also has a low profile. The layout and mix of power ports (selectable 9v, 12v, 18v) is really flexible for providing isolated power to a combination of analog and digital pedals. The included set of power cables is perfect. Installation was a breeze with the included drill template.Steve from NJ
Having used Voodoo Lab power supplies for years, this is the first True Tone supply with isolated power that I've had. I bought it for the low profile which allows it to be mounted under pedaltrain Nano and Metro boards. It's got 6 9v DC outlets, with some options for 12v and 18v (2 switchable to 12v, two to 18v), and comes with a bunch of cables and adapters. Two of the adapters will power 500mA each, which cover the hungriest digital pedals, like the Strymon, two will power 200mA and the other two 100mA. I've just rigged up a practice pedalboard with 6 pedals, and there are no noise issues at all – so the isolation is working perfectly for me. It comes with screws and a drilling template for mounting, but you can just velcro it on the underside of your board if you prefer. It feels really solid, so the build quality looks great too. I reckon this is the best low profile power supply on the market, and it was also cheaper than the other options I considered.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
I bought a Mono Pedalboard Lite and wanted a power supply that would mount to the board but not so thick that it would hold the board up off the floor. This CS6 is thin enough for that. And it has more than enough power outlets to handle all the pedals I could possibly fit on my board. Major props for being able to solidly mount this to my board. It came with the 3 screws that were needed and a cardboard template for drilling the holes in my pedalboard to have it all lined up. No relying on sticky Velcro or other cheesy solutions. My power supply is screwed to my board. It's not going anywhere.StuartV
13. Voodoo Lab 2 Plus 8-Output Isolated Guitar Pedal Power Supply
Product Details:
Live sound accessories – the voodoo lab pedal power 2 plus is a universal power supply for all battery-operated guitar pedal effects. new features include two outputs that will power line 6 modeling pedals and two outputs that can have a variable voltage sag to emulate dying carbon batteries. like the original pedal power, each of its eight outputs are completely isolated, short-circuit protected, regulated, and highly filtered. the pedal power 2 plus comes complete with cables and a detachable ac power cord; it is handmade in the us and carries a 5-year warranty. – voodoo lab pedal power 2 plus universal 8-output power supply at a glance: isolated outputs. short-circuit protection. toroidal transformer. isolated outputs – each output is completely isolated, so you won't have any ground loops or interaction between pedals that can cause hum and noise. unlike other common ground power supplies, you can run effects that have both negative and positive grounds without difficulty. – short-circuit protection – the pedal power 2 plus's outputs are individually short-circuit protected. if you have a short in a power cable, or one of your pedals malfunctions, the pedal power 2 plus will temporarily turn off the power to that pedal. all other outputs will continue to function normally, and the pedal power 2 plus will not be damaged. – toroidal transformer – power transformers create an electric field that can cause hum and noise in your effects. some effects, such as wahs, are particularly susceptible to this. a toroidal transformer has a specially designed core that greatly reduces this electric field. the pedal power 2 plus uses this type of power transformer so that your pedalboard is quiet. – voodoo lab pedal power 2 plus universal 8-output power supply features: powers up to 8 pedals. isolated outputs. short-circuit protection. toroidal transformer. included cables: 5.5 x 2.1mm right-angle barrel connectors (6). 5.5 x 2.1mm straight barrel connectors (2). 5.5 x 2.5mm red barrel for l6 (1). 3.5mm mini plug for vintage mxr or electro-harmonix (1). 9-volt battery snap for pedals without a power jack (1). note: does not ship with mounting brackets. power supplies & adapters

I received and installed this on my pedal board. It doesnt come with any brackets, so I had to improvise with some L brackets from True Value. After testing each output with a pedal, I found that the unit can be a little finicky when powering some sensitive pedals. I used canned air to try to clean any debris that may have found its way into the output jacks. Finally I licked the terminal on the disconnected wire and my pedals started working. It didnt fix my initial problem with my pedals (my delay and reverb are distorting) but it does feel nice to have a good power supply. This isnt a fix-it-all solution, but its much better than a wall wart setup. The power supply brick is solidly built to last. With a little ingenuity, you can find some DIY brackets at the local hardware store to mount the unit (which I highly recommend mounting it so it wont move). Overall, Id hoped that it would fix the problems I had, but it works very well otherwise. I believe that using a lower rated current wall wart power supply harmed my pedals that needed more current, so whatever you do (dont do what I did) make sure that your power supply meets or exceeds the power draw of your pedals.dreamenvision79-1
I use the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 PLUS to feed my Dunlop Wah Wha, EVH 5150 OD, Big Muf fuzz, DOD Gunslinger distortion, direct into the front of my Fender Bassbreaker 15watt. I run my MXR analog chorus, MXR Phase 90, and a Boss RC-3 Lopper into the effects loop. I was using a daisy chain with a name brand power source, or more like a hum chain. I can't express enough how much of a noticeable change I have experienced by adding a isolated power source. I still have hum, but it is amp hum. If you want to get rid of that kind of hum, don't buy a tube amp. Of all the great pedals I have, they don't mean squat without the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 PLUS. Did I mention it's made in America? I looked at other brands, but I am very satisfied with the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 PLUS.Hoo Doo Voo Doo
I got this as an upgrade from my Dunlop DC brick, hoping to have less noise and isolation. The transformer in this thing will interfere with any pedal near it. In my case the HX Stomp. After unplugging and isolating each pedal I realized that it wasn't patch cables, the pedals themselves or my wall outlet/ surge protector. It was the power supply itself. Save yourself the throbbing hum chase and get a switching power supply like a Truetone CS series or a Strymon Zuma instead. I mainly got this to power the HX Stomp, and after buying a current doubler and other bells and whistles for my board I cut my losses and returned this noisy B. Hope this helps you fellow pedal junkies.

The ISO 5 is a great option for small pedalboards. I was able to get it hooked up quickly and easily, and it came with all the cords I needed (including a power cable for my Eventide H9 multiprocessor). The down side? I had to be selective about the pedals I have on the board, so I have a few leftovers that will be moved to a secondary board. I should have gotten a larger power supply, but I also wanted a realistic board that didn't have everything on it and would be more portable!Nick in NH
I too attempted to replace a One Spot daisy chain configuration for a pedal board of about 30 pedals with the Voodoo Lab ISO 5 power supply. Contrary to other users' experience, what I found was that the device simply would not power all of my pedals, and when I broke it down into 4 different chains of fewer pedals per chain, the sound quality was terrible. I didn't notice that it was quieter or desirable whatsoever, I noticed that it sounded atrocious. I am returning the device to GC but I might possibly buy a bigger model if it will work to power the pedals that I have. My One Spot may be loud but I can turn down my pedals and manage the output that way. I was seriously disappointed with the ISO 5.rbt_austin
I've been using Voo Doo Labs pedal power supplies for years and years. I've never had an issue with the hundreds of shows my pedal boards see… withstanding all the rain, cold, or heat from those outdoor shows, and the drinks sloshing on the board from the crowd at the clubs. I trust they keep the voltages regulated and keep my pedals sounding their best. I don't care for those toyish power supplies that some of the pedal power units come with, so it's always been a must to be able to use a standar IEC power cable, so that's another plus. Again, great gear with no issues, so I'll keep buying them as I expand or build new pedal boards.Swerve City Guitarist

This item is the offical power supply for blackstar products. But realy should be supplied with the blackstar products on purchase not as a overpriced separate Item. Even though blackstar fly products will run on batteries, the many AA batteries required to power the unit do not last long with constant use. So you will require a power supply if you use it often.nev-367
With large sound, small size and a beautiful digital tape delay effect, it's the perfect amp for my travelling needs! The ISF for EQ has to be one of the cool features allowing a more American or British tone or wherever in between! From crisp thick 'Fendery' cleans to the jangly breakup of a 'Voxy' top boost. From sweet American blues tones to the high gain, mid scooped in your face, kick to balls distortion. Or.. Thicken it up with some throaty British sounding blues to that thick, juicy, sound we all know and love.. Rock N Roll baby! As a travelling muso, this practice amp feels like so much more than that. I can have amazing sounds from something that fits in my backpack. This little thing has blown me far, far away with it versatility and massive sounds! If you're after a small battery powered practice amp that you can take anywhere and sound great… This is 110% the amp for you!turrs
I wanted a dedicated power supply for my amp, so I ordered one. Plugged it in, it powered up, but no sound. Plugged in a universal power supply n everything worked. Gave to a friend to try on his Blackstar amp, same thing. I returned it ordered another. Same thing, power on n no sound. It's on its way back, totally useless!!Rocker

I have been using this for approx 1 month driving 3 effects + pitchblack tuner, with both acoustic & electric guitars. So far, NO perceptible noise (I get more from the pedals); I have not noticed it getting particularly warm; the connectors all fit tightly; the power cord itself is LONG (a good thing!).

Very nice bit of kit. Neat and compact and came with a variety of leads and charger plugs, all well packaged. That it can be charged via USB whilst supplying a USB and 2x 9V outputs is excellent, and they are even isolated outputs to prevent ground loops. I didn't actually buy it for music … it's being used as a power supply for a high accuracy current sensor, for which it is ideal. I imagine it will work well on effects too (I have yet to try it).Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
Overall: Solved my problem of a power cord from my pedal train nano+ for six months. Then…..10 minutes before a performance the battery when from 4 lights (fully charged) to 1 light right before my eyes! The it shut off entirely. Next day I tried to charge it for the stated 7 hours and only two lights (half way charged) appeared and my 5 mini effects cut in and out at half volume. SIX MONTHS and it gives out! No manufacture phone number in the packaging for support. No signs of a warranty. My suggestion if you own one is to keep the female receptor on the daisy chain handy and on top of your pedal board so you can fit a 1 spot power adapter at the ready. I’m trying one more of there because it did work ( FOR SIX MONTHS) and made set up and break down much easier. We’ll see what happens. Initial disappointment.Wrenshaw

Reviews:
I don't actually own this model. I posted this review to cancel out Clayton's worthless 1 star review. If you don't do some research and understand what these things can power and for how long then you shouldn't be writing reviews. I have the smallest Jackery model that I don't think they make anymore, their 500 and 1000 watt models and they all work great for what they are able to do. If you are going to try and run any type of heating device this will not run it. If you want to run a 40" + tv it isn't going to run it very long. It will run your laptop or a small 24" tv or a bluetooth music box for quite a while though. Recharge cell phones and other smaller devices. Will probably run just about anything that doesn't create heat for a while. Something this size isn't meant to live off the grid on by itself. If will get you by for a few hours if the power goes out and you need to run a few things off of it. Drives me crazy reading reviews on Amazon and other places from people that think they can run a large tv, microwave, heater or air conditioner off of a small power station.Scot
Recent price reduction afforded me to purchase this item. I had it charged to its fullest capacity before using I then used it to test charge my cellphone and it did charge it short of its capacity, checked on the remaining charge available and it is surprising to see it dipped down to 93% for a short period the Jackery is not long lasting at all to my dismay. I have mixed feeling about this item whether to recommend it or not gave it the benefits of a doubt. I could have purchase a competing brand I am not mentioning here which was my first choice searching for a compact & portable charging station prior to buying this one. No cigar for the Jackery if I could start all over again I will not be buying this. Sorry Harbor Freight Tools. Not a lot of features either for this one. Power capacity is low also.Hobo tool user 7
I leave this in the back of my subaru charging while I drive. it has pure sine wave output so I can charge my Milwaukee m18 batteries on it, as well as some medical devices while I drive. only drawback is that It should have a usb-c output so I could directly charge my computer. I have to use a usb-2 to usb-c cord to do that. if you charge directly from DC, it does not go through the double transformer and resultant inefficiencies. I like it so well that I bought a similar model, not available from HF for my daughter and mated it with the HF 18 watt solar charger for her apartment in Manhattan as they are expected to have brown and black outs this summer. it will run my sleep apnea CPAP all night. Bought It on sale and it is a very nice value and I am very happy with it. wish there were more options to charge using solar panels though. you have to make your own. the next model up allows you to charge from USB-C and other devices, not just a plug in charger. I am not unhappy but this is staying in the back of my car getting charged every time I drive. dr bobDr Bob
