If you sing and play or just have a need for a (not so) mini pa, this is it! Accept xlr mics and offer a rack of digital effects already on board. You can also use these same effects on your guitar channel. At 65 watts, you have the power to fill a small to mid size venue. The speaker is long throw, so this may work a larger room in a pinch. Separate jacks for acoustic or electric guitar. If using electric, you will need a tone pedal like distortion or overdrive since the amp has no tone or distortion of its own. It simply amplifies. Kustom amps are a great value. This is the third I own and the second acoustic amp. For a 16 watt amp with an 8 inch speaker, it sounds very clean very clear and extremely natural. I bought it for use with a keyboard because of the 4 band equalizer, 2 inputs and the reverb. I love this amp so much that I now own two of them. Has separate microphone and instrument channels, each with its own volume control and pad, shared three-band EQ with sweep feedback notch filter. Nicely matched 10-inch speaker to 30-watt amplifier makes it both clean and loud. Nice little digital effects selection and output patch points (line out, extension speaker, etc.) I'm a solo vocalist-guitarist playing up to 100-seat rooms, and it is the perfect size and weight. Looks good, too, with retro tan covering and brown grill cloth. My only quibble is with the retro leather handle which already broke on one of them. Replaced it with a Fender dogbone handle that's way better and also suits the amp. You cannot go wrong with this amp considering features for the price.casperlittlebit

This little amp packs quite a punch… Wonderful clean section with a gain control that just gets you close enough to saturation but still remains resolved. The crunch side of things gets a little smooth but still could use some of that cottony warmth of a tube rig… Add an overdrive and some light modulation and this lovely little beast really comes to life………!BobC
Great clean sound with a full dynamic range. The power is apparent in the relative response player input provided. The overdrive picks up where the clean channel leaves off and provides adequate and believable breakup / distortion as gain is increased. I suspect this will replace my combo tube amp and a few pedals as the the reverb and overdrive on the amp do the job well and I desire to carry and setup less equipment at this point in life. The FSW works great using a standard off the shelf foot selector from musicians friend ( momentary switch, I believe). Plays well with my tele and my PRS with dual hum bucks. I feel this amp will suffice for jazz, rock/country rock, and contemporary worship, and more power than I'll ever require…Jaybird

Petit ampli parfait pour le transport de part son poids et ses dimensions remarquablement petits. Je le prends partout avec moi car il tient dans une petite valise dans laquelle j'ai même pu mettre mon sans fil, mes effets et tous mes câbles. Premier essai, les boutons craquent un peu mais cela disparait avec le temps. Les 250W sont presque un peu trop puissants pour des petites scènes ; volume même pas au quart et ça crache ! Je pense que la version 50W serait plus adaptée pour un groupe qui débute. La réverbe n'est pas d'une grande utilité car trop profonde mais le son clean et la disto sont ce que j'attendais d'un ampli à transistor. Bref je le conseille vivement !

This thing is MEAN. The dual dirty channels are great for switching between blues and melt-your-face metal tones. I play A LOT of Metallica and SRV and this this id perfect! I did miss the chorus from my Fender Ultimate Chorus amp, so I just added a chorus pedal to my current set up ( delay, KH Ghoul jr, and Kirk Hammett whah pedal) and BINGO! I'm back in action! This little amp really surprised me. It only has 20 watts but with the 12 inch speaker it will rattle the window in your bedroom. I'm just learning how to play bass so I will be using this amp for awhile. I think Kustom amps are not given the respect they deserve, this amp is a quality built solid piece of equipment. Owned this about 8 months . Bought to use in small venues but the integrated power cord (does not unplug from amp) makes it very difficult to transport. I bought a rolling cart and still fight with cord constantly. Pros: Well made, solid unit. Cons: The preset sounds are absolutely awful! The gain channels are very distorted to the point of everything sounding like mush. The clean tones are anything but. I have several standard amps and after watching the official Kustom video for this amp on YouTube decided to buy it as an all round practice amp. The amp sounds nothing like the video. It's like comparing night with day! Don't waste your money. It's OK for a beginner, but the fact is there are many many more able modeling amps out there and I wish I'd have bought one!Anthony
You get over 20 professional rig setting at the turn of a switch. Each mix is very authentic and very different. From clean to metal it's all very present and on demand. The amp is very portable and so easy to use, it's very sturdy and comes with a headphone jack so you can play anywhere and anytime. Got this practice amp a couple of weeks ago. Have had Kustom P.A in the past that was a real good one ,so for $99 , I thought I would check it out. Sounds good overall. The pre- set channels are ok. I prefer to set it on the cleanest channel which is #1 and use my Sonic Cake sound bar to dial in my preferred sound. A little reverb and delay is all I really need for the type of music I do . I prefer the crunch channel of my sound bar over any of the several crunchy channels on the amp its self. Now the cleaner channels (3) on the amp itself are pretty good sounding I must say. One thing they could have added was a Line Out plug in so you can connect to a P.A .Maybe a Cabinet simulator too , but it's a cool sounding basic amp. Nice speaker sound. I bought a Kustom P.a 50 before getting this recently. Same awesome quality and sound for a budget.systemaxguitar

For less than $200, the Kustom KG100 FX 2.0 Guitar Amplifier is one of the best bargains. It's got a 12" speaker, so it can 'chug' really well. It may not be the loudest 100watt amplifier, but it does get loud; capable of keeping up with a drummer/bass player, given that the drums and bass are not too extreme. I don't want to undersell this amp though. It is very difficult to find both a) 12" speaker and b) 100 watts for under $200. The FX loop jacks (send/return), external speaker jack, and footswitch jack (TRS for 'boost' and 'channel') are a good touch. Here is what I would do to make this amp even better though. The built-in FX — delay and chorus don't interest me. It would be great to actually see this as a 'KG100 3.0" with no FX, and to have an 'attenuation' switch to give the options for say, 10watts, and 1watt, as an alternative to 100 watts. I didn't buy this amp for the 'drive' channel, but the plan was instead to use 'dirt' pedals on the clean channel.Having only had this amp for a few hours, I've not tried the drive channel; but have to say, the clean channel is better than anticipated; very very smooth considering what you might expect (the 'icepick in the ear' attack of so many budget solid state amps and their clean channels). I daresay the KG100FX's clean channelis superior to that of the Peavey Bandit, which is twice the price. Now, maybe an older Bandit is better, but the comparing this KG100FX with contemporary Bandit; the KG100FX's clean is equal to, if not actually superior to; that of the Bandit. For great value, the only other 'solid state' amps I would compare this to at less than $200 would be the Fender Champion 40, and the Boss Katana 50. You can pay more, but this KG100FX is a great starting place as a pedal platform, and with the capability to get impressively loud. YMMVmrblitz_pcb
Was looking for a small amp with enough power for my guitar and violin. Looping was a big plus as I use both instr. jacks and can get the sounds I need via my pedal board for both guitar and violin. Didn't take hardly any time at all to get everything set to where I needed it. This saves lugging 2 amps around! Are their better. This is a 50-year-old functional kustom 250 amplifier in outstanding condition. the electronics could use a good cleaning (scratchy pots and jacks), but both channels are functioning input volume, tone controls, bright switch….all of it! i noticed that with the volume all the way down i could still hear a little bit of volume from the amp when testing with an iphone -i m sure that would be much more minimal with a passive bass guitar. other observations: the power light is not working (probably a bulb?) but the switch functions. the polarity light works, but the switch is not returning correctly when i pressed it (the spring inside the switch). both of those things don t really affect the functionality of the amp, but sure could be fixed. looks like it s missing two bolts underneath that mount the chassis to the cabinet. (those should be standard and simple enough to find.) there s one small cigarette burn on the top of the vinyl cabinet. other than that, the tuck-and-roll cabinet…
