I use both the Eon12s and the Eon15s. Both are excellent powered speakers. The bass sounds better than QSC and the highs are very crisp. I dj weddings. The speakers look beautiful and sound fantastic. The DSP EQ Settings are wonderful. The EON 15s and 12s are selling at a great price because previous buyers didnt understand that the blue tooth is only for adjusting the speakers EQ. I used to use the old JBS MR 15s with a QSC Amp. These speakers sound almost as good as expensive passive speakers. What is best about them? They can take punishment. 3 years and no problems with any of the 15 EONs my DJs use. These speakers are also very simple to use and run in series with each other. Speakers that cost $1,800.00 do not sound as good as the EON Series from JBL. I run my audio feed to them through a compressor, which keep the audio spikes from blowing the speakers. They also sound great using them with a raw feed directly out of your mixer. I've been using a ~$200 10" powered speaker with Roland synth modules and a Yamaha WX7 for a couple years to emulate brass, winds, and strings. Clean sound, portability, and small size are all a must. This speaker was "ok," but in some situations, sounded slightly ragged. I need another speaker and decided to go upscale with the EON 610, knowing it was about 6lb and a couple inches larger, all around. Compared to my old 10" speaker, the JBL seems taller, wider, and deeper than the dimensional differences would suggest — it's almost as large as some economy 12" models. Where the old box could be planted unobtrusively in front of a music stand or to the side of my chair, the JBL's size might be an issue. Sound-wise, the EON 610 is LOUD, very clean (like listening with a pair of headphones), tight, and transparent. Even with the gain set for mic input, it is extremely quiet. Instruments are smoother and more realistic, although not dramatically. Extended A-B comparison gave the JBL the edge, which, at near twice the cost and twice the power, isn't surprising. Dual channel mixer and selectable EQ curves are nice touches. It's definitely worth the extra $$$, size, and weight. The negatives — yes there are a few. No manual in the box (you need to download it). The Android Bluetooth app requires Android 4.4 or better (why not 4.0?). Unless you have a device with Kit Kat, you are out of luck (or more $$$) to use the heavily advertised Bluetooth feature to tweak EQ and gain with your smart phone or tablet. Various JBL info states all the EON 600 series boxes have a handle on each side, but the 610 has side handles only. Lastly (and this is an observation, not a gripe), the 610 appears not to have the fancy woofer wave guide. Regardless, the coverage is still wider than the 12" or 15" model. In all, the EON 610 might be a little large for a tight pit orchestra, but can probably hold its own on stage for many applications where the smaller box won't cut it. Great performance extracts a small penalty in weight and size. Price gets JBL sound and quality, and a sense of confidence that goes with them. It's a keeper.Guy
I get good compliments for having this JBL brand EON610 PA/speaker for its realistic, clear sound of my voice, which is very easy to understand, even in the back of the audience. I use this for small church audiences. I am told it that my voice sounds very clear and the volume is very good, even from the back of the audience, without being too loud for the front row. One frustrating hassle is that the instructions are extremely brief. If you really search online you can find enough info eventually, but it takes time and persistence, It took me a few hours, over the course of a few days, to figure out how to make the most out of just plugging in my Shure vocal microphone. The Channel 1 and Channel 2 Mic/Line switches are confusing to look at and hard to use without getting a tool to operate the button. The symbols next to the Mic/Line switches say depressed for Mic and not depressed for Line, but it LOOKS like the button is missing! it is actually a white button recessed behind the hole, it requires a dow rod (or anything that will fit) narrow enough to stick in the hole, only then is it easy to feel the click of depressing the button for Mic, (my EON610 arrived as not depressed for Line, so my Shure vocal mic was only as loud as my speaking voice, with the GAIN and MASTER VOLUME both at max). I wondered and stressed for a day if I needed to buy a preamp, before I figured this trick on my own. I don't like having to use my iPhone to operate the EQ. I don't like having to have a mandatory third party remote control. The iPhone app is sluggish making its Bluetooth connection, so I have to fumble around for 10 minutes or more. To be fair, the JBL preset for SPEECH seems to be just fine for my audience, even though it seems a bit boomy to me. The mid-range EQ seems to offer more versatility after much research online. I would recommend this to a friend if I could show them the tricks, straight out of the box. You really need someone to give you tips.Rev316

I thought it was time to upgrade my speakers. So I took a spontaneous plunge into investing on a pair of PRX815Ws. Since I still own my EONs, I had to do a side by side comparison. I gotta say, it makes a big difference in sound quality. The EONs have a narrow sounding sound that when you pair up two of them, you won’t really notice a difference. But the PRX have a wide expansive clear tone to them, even when playing a single one. The Bass to both series are similar, but the loudness of the PRX makes the difference in an overall sound. Bass, Mids and Highs all upgrade the sound from the EONs to the PRX. I don’t see myself going back to EONs again, but I still have respect for them. Awesome built speakers by JBL!Luis
I have the 2 15’s of these. I wanted to add 2 12’s that can be used as monitors at larger DJ gigs or just a small add on for weddings. I almost feel like I like these 12 inch speakers better than the 15 inch ones. Great sound. Low end is great! They are lightweight (great for transporting) I highly suggest getting the covers. These are amazing looking but from my experience before it’s easier to keep them from getting scuffed or scratch with the covers. I highly recommend these for anyone looking for some small PA speakers that can produce some big sound or someone looking to add some extra thump to the DJ booth as monitors. A confusing and frustrating PRX Connect app knocks a star off an otherwise great sounding speaker. I was ready to repack these bad boys and return them, but a cooler head prevailed and I dug deep into how to make the PRX Connect work. You will need a router in order for it (PRX Connect) to work or you will be left with a speaker that isn't properly EQ'ed and will leave it sounding flat. What even makes it more frustrating is that the app isn't compatible for cellphones, but work on either iOS or Android tablets…they need to make it where it works with cellphones as well, then this will be a 5 star product.The goods of these speakers are that they are very capable of reaching clear and high volumes when set up properly. They can get very touchy when not set accordingly to your equipment and will trigger the clip light. Great looking and professional design. You can use it as a stage monitor (horizontally) or on speaker stands vertically. I like that it has two positions for the speaker pole to mount into, either the speaker sits straight or slightly angled down. I used a pair of these and an EV ELX200-18SP sub and it sounded solid! The guests loved it, but those that sat closer to the speakers say that it was at times a bit too loud.The only con I can think of is that these things have a good amount of weight behind them. What do you expect from wood cabinet speakers.Over all these speakers are excellent for any genre of music. I cannot comment on how they sound with electric instruments. There is a saying among consumers that goes something like this: this particular product is good for the price. But I will say that these particular speakers are absolutely great speakers, period! On top of that, they are offered at a great price! The sound that comes out of them is absolutely stunning. It allows you to work on sound editing and mixing without missing anything. Nothing escapes these speakers so if you need to hear everything that you recorded, whether an open-air interview or production sound of a short film, it will definitely be audible with these quality speakers. I connect these speakers to my old (2008) 27 iMac using an amplifier, and this set up is amazing for the work I do. I highly recommend these speakers to anyone looking to work on mid-level sound production, editing, and mixing. Even for the casual consumer, listening to music and TV shows and movies with these speakers is absolutely amazing!
I am a long time JBL'er. This pair of speakers was 2 of the 6 that I bought to update my surround system. They were easy to mount on the wall and the sound quality is crisp and clear. The JBL surround system that I was using still was still a great sounding system, it pales in comparison with the new speaker set up. I joined these speakers up with 2 JBL Sub 100P subwoofers and most recently a JBL Loft 20 center channel speaker. Surround heaven! I'm never looking back.rbjosh11

I was sceptical replacing a trusty old pair of passive Klipsch's. Hooked them up in my living room and gave em a try. Awesome! The sound from these is clear, clean and loud, almost overkill for my average 50-100 person gigs and could easily cover 200+. I ran music out of my laptop with a Behringer UAC202 sound card to a little Mackie 402VLZ3 mixer, then to the speaker. The PRX712 sounds great from a low dinner volume up as high as I could stand (had tons of headroom left). I set the PRX712 volume/gain to 50% at 12 o-clock position and controlled volume from the mixers main, the max my ears could stand was about 30% at the mixer ( -12db lit -4db blinking).ballisticrealestate

These have no screws going through the magnet into the frame. They glued them instead and I've had to have both repaired. These appear to have just been glued on with no addition support….. not to mention that a horn became unsoldered which makes 3 repairs in less than 3 years. No way to use the warranty because of shipping costs. Very disappointed in this brand JBL and would not buy again. If you are a regular serious gigging musician these are not dependable.Fry Project
These speakers sound and work exactly as you would expect from a JBL speaker. Although they are a base line model, they perform great with our setup. They are paired with the same model line 18 subwoofer and EQed to remove most of the bass. However, I suspect they would sound great full range.Rachel
I love jbl speakers. The quality and sound of the speakers are awsome! All my speakers are passive. I already own 2 of the jbl jrx 215s… Plenty of low end even without a sub. Bought these jrx 200s to bring some more high end out of music. I run 2 12s and 2 15s with my rockville rpm 109. Powered mixer. 4800 watts. These speakers can handle alot.i have it turned up a little over half way and they sound great!i plan on at least getting 1 powered 18" jbl sub in the future. I love jbl's speaker line up. Passive and powered!

I purchased these speakers for my basement home entertainment system to replace my front Infinity Studio Monitors. The sound dispersion, clarity and musical accuracy is great. The only real area that I think they are lacking is in low end bass response which I believe is less than what is delivered by my old Infinity Reference Six four-way towers in my family room system. The mid-bass performance of the JBL's is fine. I purchased and installed a new Infinity Reference SUB R12 subwoofer to go along with the Stage A190s that does a very good job in taking care of the low end bass. I also have the Stage A190's used with a JBL Studio center channel speaker and Infinity Reference bookshelf speakers for the rear surround. All combined these speakers sound great when watching movies and deliver a theater-like experience. The JBL Stage A190s also sound great when listening to classic rock. Моим dls m6/5 mk4 пришёл конец спустя 10 лет их работы, так что сравнивать буду с ними. Правда сравнение будет не совсем честным, потому что когда менял динамики за одно зашумил двери. Разница кончено более чем ощутима. JBL играют гораздо лучше средние и даже слишком многих высоких частот. Наверное зря оставил нажатыми на кроссовере кнопку +2db. Очень странно, но при всем при этом магнит у jbl меньше чем был у dls. При покупке обратите внимание на разбег цен от 2800 до 4500 не переплатите. Ещё есть модель без грилей с маркировкой без буквы F на конце, но узнал я об этом уже позже, так что могу обменять их на бутылочку пивка если кому нужны) Достоинства: Хороший звук за свои деньги на всем диапазоне от низких до высоких. Устанавливаются в штатные места. На поло седан пищалки поставил в треугольники регулировки зеркал. В комплекте идут переходники можно и на торпеду прикрепить у стекла. Хороший ход подвеса. Недостатки: Мне не очень нравится яркий восклицательный знак или что это на пищалках, лучше бы просто черные оставили.

Не хотелось менять ничего и обойтись минимальным бюджетом. И шо вы думаете? таки да, звучат аки цельный одесский симфонический оркестр и даже в дверях появился басист, дай бог ему здоровья! и если из оркестра хтото не дорабатывает то ищите этого поца в оркестровой яме или голове дирижера! и шоб мне всю оставшуюся жизнь слушать музыку через рупор радиоточки, берите и будет вам чунга-чанга. За эти деньги так красиво вам не сыграет никто! Достоинства: Ставится в штатные места. Соотношение цена-качество!
четкий JBL с сочной серединой и упругим басом, верха как у обычных колонок, без претензий, громкие..на максимуме не смог, у меня на магнитоле шкала 0-30, слушаю максимум на 12. и то на трассе, а по городу на 3ке-4ке, и это без усилителя. Норм. Достоинства: цена/качество Недостатки: за эту цену нет

I was doing an update of a 70 volt system at our church facility and we needed to add an amp due to the new speaker installation. This amp fit the bill and was priced right. I Installed them today took out my old,factory speakers on my 08 equinox.After installing and playing on my sony knob deck,they were really loud on tweeter but,without a baffle for mid to low end you will be disappointed. I might need to get a amp and a 10" along with baffles for a decent audio system.Again I was just looking to upgrade my Factories but should of left them alone they sounded good..just my 2 cents pay a little extra and get better ones.epacheco4

Nie ma co się dużo rozpisywać na temat samych głośników bo jest to produkt JBL czyli z automatu mamy do czynienia z solidnym wykonaniem i świetną jakością. Natomiast należy wspomnieć co nieco o montażu i dopasowaniu. Do montażu musimy wyposażyć się dodatkowo w jakieś +/- dwa metry kabla i osiem końcówek konektorowych (4 wtyki – dwa średnie i dwa małe, 4 gniazda – dwa średnie i dwa małe) poza tym załączone śrubki do samej wymiany średnio się nadają. OEMowe tweetery przykręcone są na torxa, tweetery z zestawu nie mają za to właściwie żadnego mocowania oprócz miejsca na śrubę (ze sklejki można dorobić nowe mocowanie albo wcisnąć je w piankę o ile kupujący nadal taką posiada). Woofery mają delikatnie większe obręcze i rozpychają plastiki kołków ale o to nie należy się martwić ponieważ kołki są elementem ruchomym przez co "boczek" swobodnie wraca na swoje miejsce. Tutaj też zaznaczę, że woofer może stawiać opór podczas mocowania i sprawiać wrażenie za dużego ale powinien wejść. Maskownice są za duże i nie wejdą w miejsce OEMu – nie będzie szpanu na blaszkę JBL'a. Załączony kabel w zestawie ma zarobione końcówki konektorowe ale z racji tego, że powinien iść pod zwrotnicę, końcówki trzeba odciąć i zabielić lutownicą.
Osobiście nie polecam tych głośników osobą które chcą zastąpić swoje standardowe nagłośnienie tak jak ja to zrobiłem w swoim aucie. W Passacie B6 z 2008 głośniki pasują z niewielkimi przeróbkami ale dźwięk jest tragiczny jak dla mnie, płytki, zero basu i piakliwe głośniki wysokotonowe (odradzam ich montaż). Stare 13 letnie głośniki Blaupunkt grały zdecydowanie lepiej i dźwięk był znacznie głębszy. Drugi raz na pewno bym ich nie kupił. W przypadku gdy stary głośnik się przepali tak jak stało się to u mnie, polecam kupić oryginał bo będziecie żałować.
Wita. Zamontowałem głośniki do Hondy Civic viii tzw. Ufo. Oczywiście nie obeszło się bez małych przerubek ale myślę że nawet 12 latek by sobie poradził, jeśli chodzi o dopasowanie głośników w otwory. Radzę dołożyć metr kabelka żeby nie ruszać oryginalnej instalacji w razie gdyby jednak trzeba było wrzucić do oryginałów. Polecam również odrazu przykleić mate wygłuszającą na dzwi. Ja popełniłem ten błąd i 2 razy ściągałem boczki w dzwiach. Może w hondzie nie jest to zbyt trudne ale lepiej unikać niepotrzebnego ryzyka połamania uchwytów.
