Great products from TC Electronic (as usual) and great price/availability from DV247, but poor service. No shipping e-mail sent, so no idea when items were on the way, and TC Electronic 9v power supply was shipped with EU plug only rather than various adapters, so no good for UK use. UK adapter requested from DV247 and promised to be shipped separately, but we will see…
Great but nearly as expensive as the pedal 🤷♂️Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.

I bought my first CS-6 to use with my Pedatrain Nano+. The slim profile fits perfectly under the board. Buying another one for my DIY medium size board that also has a low profile. The layout and mix of power ports (selectable 9v, 12v, 18v) is really flexible for providing isolated power to a combination of analog and digital pedals. The included set of power cables is perfect. Installation was a breeze with the included drill template.Steve from NJ
Having used Voodoo Lab power supplies for years, this is the first True Tone supply with isolated power that I've had. I bought it for the low profile which allows it to be mounted under pedaltrain Nano and Metro boards. It's got 6 9v DC outlets, with some options for 12v and 18v (2 switchable to 12v, two to 18v), and comes with a bunch of cables and adapters. Two of the adapters will power 500mA each, which cover the hungriest digital pedals, like the Strymon, two will power 200mA and the other two 100mA. I've just rigged up a practice pedalboard with 6 pedals, and there are no noise issues at all – so the isolation is working perfectly for me. It comes with screws and a drilling template for mounting, but you can just velcro it on the underside of your board if you prefer. It feels really solid, so the build quality looks great too. I reckon this is the best low profile power supply on the market, and it was also cheaper than the other options I considered.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
I bought a Mono Pedalboard Lite and wanted a power supply that would mount to the board but not so thick that it would hold the board up off the floor. This CS6 is thin enough for that. And it has more than enough power outlets to handle all the pedals I could possibly fit on my board. Major props for being able to solidly mount this to my board. It came with the 3 screws that were needed and a cardboard template for drilling the holes in my pedalboard to have it all lined up. No relying on sticky Velcro or other cheesy solutions. My power supply is screwed to my board. It's not going anywhere.StuartV
4. Friedman Power Grid 10 Power Supply
Product Details:
Dave friedman designed his power grid 10 pedalboard power supply to elicit optimum performance from your effects while eliminating some issues he had with other similar designs on the market. you'll find 10 x 9-volt outlets that are rated at 350ma each. that is more than enough power for most of today's power-hungry pedals. and friedman paid special attention to ensuring the power grid has absolutely zero field and proximity hum. you can even mount your favorite old-school fuzz right on top of the unit. with 10 isolated, high-current 9-volt outputs, the power grid 10 is perfect for complex pedal rigs. each output offers 350ma for power-hungry pedals. the power grid 10 exhibits zero field hum for a dead-quiet guitar rig, and universal power means you can use it anywhere in the world without an external transformer.

Overall: I bought this as an upgrade from a one spot daisy chain and oh boy what a difference. This vastly improved the tone of every single pedal I plugged into it. I run 6-8 pedals: overdrives, vibe (18 volts), fuzz (some center positive) and delay. Everything sounds richer. I like the reverse polarity cables for some Fulltone fuzzes and the 18-volt adapter for my vibe unit. Can’t go wrong with this product. I was planning on selling a bunch of pedals before I bought this because they didn’t sound that great, but turns out the power supply was the issue.Mike

Cioks knocks it out of the park with having 7 independent and powerful power provision. I can power several big pedals like the timeline, bigsky, h9, and more. On top of that, this kit comes with several incredibly useful power adapters. I wont name any brands, but 3 of the other major pedal power solutions give like 8-12 normal power cables and maybe 1-2 specialty cables. This unit came with like 10 normal cables, 2 multi tap pedals, 3-4 eventide rated pedals, negative and positive center cables, etc… What this product does requires 3-4 add on kits from other brands to make up a portion. Its small and has been solid as a rock.Eric j
Great power supply!!!! I powers everything I have and more! Connections are easily made and it is dead quiet. It's light weight and easily fits my Pedal Train Pedalboard. I've gotten rid of all my wallwarts and the power strip i had velcro'd to the bottom of my board (more weight reduction). So far, it's working great and lights up beautifully! Very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend it.jhfuzzpedal
Unbelievably light and powerful. Built just as impressively as the older heavier stuff. A win!

Reviews:
As I crammed more and more pedals on to my pedal board over the last few months, it was fast outgrowing the mini 5-output power supply I had purchased for it. When I saw this unit with 8 power outputs, a light went off in my head and I thought, why not battery-powered? After a bit of modification to my pedal board, I was able to mount it and power up the board – all systems go! Mission Engineering products have a great reputation for quality, so no worries on that end. I haven't used it long enough to know exactly how long the battery will last at full charge, but they supply you with a decent adapter/charger so that's a nice fallback method of powering the board. Mission seems to have thought of everything on this product. The only thing I need to remember now is to turn it off when I'm done. 🙂
8. Electro-Harmonix 9v Power Supply
Product Details:
The electro-harmonix ehx9.6dc-200 is the player’s choice of battery eliminator for many of the world’s most popular effects pedals including ehx, boss, mxr, ibanez and others. it is a 9.6 volt dc/200ma linearly regulated power supply with 2.1mm x 5.5mm center negative barrel plug. to check if your pedal uses the ehx9.6dc-200, please refer to the list on the ehx website uk9.6v (united kingdom) 9 volt dc mains adapter will power most pedals and stomp-boxes ensure you never run out of power!
Reviews:
If your using one of those 3.5 mm adapters, and 9 volt daisy chain, you need one of these. I personally think you should toss the daisy chain in the trash, it's not the way to go. Older Electro Harmonix, DOD, MXR, and a few other companies pedals run better with the slightly higher 9.6 volt output. Even if you have one of those power bricks, if it doesn't have 9.6, or 10 volt output, you may still want this. Providing your pedals with the correct output voltage, from an isolated source (adapter or power supply brick), will always give the best results. You should have noticeably less line noise by following these rules as well. On the adapter itself, I've owned a few of these over the years, and they're one of the more durable ones out there. The plug part isn't incredibly huge or heavy either, which is nice.weatherreport08
Got this for my CryBaby Wah and an old DOD pedal. Works great. 1/8 plug.jk
9. Truetone Cs12 1 Spot Pro Power Supply
Product Details:
The truetone 1 spot pro cs12 power supply can provide three times as much power to pedals as transformer-based power bricks. each of the 12 outputs are completely isolated, regulated and filtered to give noise-free performance. with no transformer to hinder its abilities, there is never any proximity noise. and being the world’s first multi-output switching power supply for musicians, it will work anywhere in the world without modification.
Reviews:
This is a good power supply. It's nice to see 12 outputs on the brick at a reasonable price. The Truetone DC power cables are particularly nice compared to Voodoo labs and some other vendors – a little heavier I applaud the variety of outputs available – 9V @ 100, 250, and 500ma, 12V and 18V as well as a 9VAC. (and technically 36V but that's not something pedals run on.) But, it lacks configurability on 3 of the outputs and that means unless you have the need for two 18V and a 9VAC, this is $10 more than a Pedaltrain Pedalpower 2+ and gets you 1 more 9V DC output. (i t Had they made the 18V outputs configurable, it would be fair to say the extra $10 gets you 3 more usable outputs. (9,10, and 11) plus the AC output most people will never use. I will never use the AC 9V output – that cannot be used for any pedals that run on DC. There are only a few vendors who do AC powered pedals – digitech has a few and line 6 has one. I only have 1 pedal that runs on 18V and I'm thinking about selling it….so those may also be wasted. You cannot use an adapter to reduce 18V down to 9V. Those two 18V outputs are only good for 18V. There are a variety of pedals in the market that can run on a range from 9-18 so it's somewhat more possible to use the 18V than that 9VAC, but still, a simple dipswitch to make these 9/18V would have made a lot of sense, especially since they are doing it for all the 9/12V outlets. Also the risk of plugging that 18V into a pedal and frying it is real if you forget about it being 18V and just grab a cable from the topside thinking it's 9V and change the pedal out to something else. They color code their cables by length rather than function also adding to confusion. On the CS-6 – the 18V output is switchable between 9V and 18V with a dipswitch. They should have done the same on the CS-7 and CS-12 models.FeelThePower
It's a good power supply and does what it says it does. The AC port is a MUCH appreciated feature to get rid of my old, bulky, Line 6 power supply (for an MM4). I'm powering 10 pedals with it and I'm going to be getting another to power the rest (I've got a big board). BUT… Be forewarned if you are seeking to put it under a Pedal Train board. I've never faced such a frustrating install before. I can't speak for all models, but I put it under a Novo 32 and the mounting brackets do not fit properly. They'll WORK, but they're at odd angles and you can't get the screws in all the way. Also the install instructions say clearly that if you're using a powered screwdriver you won't need to drill holes. Well…after 20 minutes on the first screw, I drilled guide holes for the other three and had a much better time. Just drill smaller than the screw so you can still create a thread. It'll save you time and sweat. The power supply is great. It works wonderfully as a power supply. But if I were 1 Spot, I'd stop claiming the mounting brackets are for Pedal Train boards. They're just not…or they're only for some of them. But in general, if you're looking for an affordable power supply with a good number of isolated outputs, you can buy into the voodoo of other brands, but you'll pay a lot less for the same (in some ways better) concept here.Derek the Guy Who Bought This Th
So I had a regular little One Spot daisychain unit running power to my bass pedals on a makeshift server-shelf-pedalboard, but once I added the envelope filter, it was one too many for the noise threshold, apparently, and the POG was bleeding through the whole signal. I had this little 20" x 8" three-rail entry-level pedalboard setup I had grabbed on sale somewhere, and I decided to hot-rod it way beyond its intended use case. There was no room underneath the slightly-tilted chassis, so I just got me a One Spot Pro and mounted it on top, through the magic of Dual-Lock. This completely solved the noise issue and also gave me expansion options to power a looper or something off to the side, should I need it. It's overkill, but it's fabulous overkill which doesn't weigh down the board as much as you'd think. I love the positioning of the modular power cord jack, making the entire board a lot more utilitarian for quick stage setups.

Awesome. Powers everything. No compromise. Mine was short a few cables, and Cioks customer support mailed me a bunch of extra cables and I got them in just a few days. Excellent product made and backed my an excellent company. Cioks is the only power supplies I will use. Mounts to Pedaltrains easily with their Cioks Grip mounting bracket. Absolutely brilliant all around. If you're looking for a new power supply, strongly consider this one. Worth the price.KC
This is such a good power brick. It’s got so many options for powering different pedals, including using just one output with a daisy chain to give juice to less power hungry pedals, or using a Y cable to use two outputs to power super hungry pedals. It can run different voltages, be used with expansion packs for even more versatility, and fits perfectly under a pedaltrain board. I use mine to power 9 pedals with zero noise or interference. I can’t recommend this highly enough.Neil G.
The Cioks DC7 is undeniably one of the best power supplies you can get for your pedalboard, if not THE best. This is my second Cioks power supply. I just upgraded from the DC5 to the DC7 and also sold off another very popular power supply from another brand. The DC7 essentially replaced both of them. It's extremely quiet, and most important to me, no transformer to cause interference with other pedals or cables. With my old power supplies, I had to watch where my effects loop cables were sitting because they'd pick up hum from the transformer. It's not an issue with the DC7. I could lay my effects loop cables right on top and not hear any noise whatsoever. The RCA plugs on the Cioks products are vastly superior to the usual Boss-style plugs on other power supplies. Never had any trouble with my old DC5 or this newer DC7. Expands easily in the future if I need to with the Cioks 4 or Cioks 8. Currently running 8 pedals on a Pedaltrain Metro 20, and I'm nowhere near even beginning to tax the power output on this unit. The DC7 is amazing in every way a pedal power source should be.KC

Reviews:
I fretted and researched and watched reviews on YT… finally pulled the trigger on an MXR iso power source. I only run a few pedals. Never really got into the giant pedal board thing. The MXR M238 is way more than I will ever need or use. I bought it to give the few pedals I do have a quality isolated power source. I was using a power all which works great for a couple of low power consuming pedals. The MXR M238 is a quality piece of gear and I highly recommend it. It has two adjustable plugs that range from 6-15v which is awesome for those pedals that can take variable voltage without blowing up. With the variety of power plugs available it is super flexible and I feel certain this would power a large board if you daisy chained maybe 2-3 of your low power consuming pedals to a higher mA plug. There's so many options with this unit, that was the deciding factor for me when buying this. It's built like a tank in an all metal enclosure. It came with extra DC power cables. The biggest surprise is how small it is. It isn't much bigger than your average size effect pedal.mathewsguitarworks
After researching the various pedalboard power supplies, the ISO-Brick seemed to offer the best bang for the buck for me. It has a generous number of isolated DC outputs (10 total). I was particularly impressed that there was a generous range of amperage ratings for the 6 dedicated 9V outputs that were available (2x100mA, 2x300mA and 2x450mA). While the 100mA outputs are adequate for overdrives and some other analog pedals, the 300 and 450 mA 9V outputs are particularly helpful for driving digital pedals. I have a variety of TC Electronic pedals, so the additional amperage compared to competing products was an important selling point for me. The ISO-Brick also offers two 18V/250mA outputs, which works great for my Pigtronix Tremvelope. There are also two variable voltage outputs (6-15V) rated at 250 mA. Each of these two outputs have a tiny pot to adjust the voltage and the only marking between 6-15V is for 9V. I would have preferred at least one dedicated 12V output at greater than 300mA to drive my TCE Nova Repeater. Instead, I am using a 9V 450mA output for the Repeater. The lower voltage limits the headroom the Repeater but it is rated from 9-12V and seems to work fine. My ISO-Brick came with ten 26-inch end-to-end DC supply cables. These cables seem to be reasonably good quality. Given the variety of outputs and the potential for confusion when connecting a bunch of pedals, color-coded cables and outputs would have been a nice touch but a little bit of colored electrical tape did the trick for me. I also appreciate that the ISO-Brick has a bright blue LED for each output to verify each is connected to a pedal. All in all, I am very pleased with the ISO-Brick. It does its job for minimizing noise and allows you to connect up to 10 pedals.Victor
I am running several pedals into my half stack Vai Legacy tube amp and getting a hum mainly from my boost pedal and compressor/sustain pedals. I bought a Furmin power conditioner and then the iso brick but still have a hum. I guess Ill just have to get a noise gate? (my old one died, maybe from too much noise! Lol). I researched several isolated power supplies and I believe this is a good value, but didnt solve MY problem. It may solve yours, but its hard to recommend something that didnt help me.imwrenscott

No ground loop problems in my studio at all. I did a direct comparison, same circuitry, same same same powering up my noise supressor direct in with nothing else in the line. compared with boss, one spot, and outlaw. Outlaw actually INTRODUCED noise where previously there was none, other plugs did not. Turned the plug around and tried numerous other "fixes" to no avail. Works but NOISY.Frequent Flyer
My One Spot power supply failed. I dont use more than two pedals at most ( a reverb for my lightweight stage setup with a quilter microblock is the most common, maybe a tuna melt vibrato on occasion) For just two pedals this has enough power rating to handle them both and not spend more $$ for capacity that is not needed. We shall see about durability over timeAC Steel

Overall: I bought the DC4 to hook up to the 24v expansion port on my DC7. That port has to be the best feature of any power supply on the market today. My board is on the larger side and I have quite a few power hungry digital pedals. This combo powers everything and more. Couldn't recommend more!

Several years ago, I bought a budget pedalboard with a built-in power supply from my local music store. It was actually working pretty well for me, until I started adding more pedals. The more I added, the more buzz I had. I tried everything, different wall warts, several wall warts, a different (cheap) power supply. Very frustrating. After doing some research, I found the MC403. It had excellent reviews and was more than adequate to power the number and variety of pedals in my collection. So I decided to buy a Pedaltrain PT-3 and the MC403. One of the best decisions of my musical career. NO BUZZ! Highly recommended!!Tracy
Absolutely a perfect fit for my board. Came loaded with everything I needed to install and set up my pedals. Quality!
