Reviews:
I bought this cabinet with the intention of beefing up my Hot Rod deluxe which it did. The combination of closed back from this cabinet and the open back of the deluxe resulted in a much more richer sound not to mention that at 4 ohms with the cabinet the amp seems to be more responsive to my playing. It also looks cool sitting under the Hot Rod Deluxe III. It not only sounds great with the Hot Rod but with my 30 watt PRS amp head, a Quilter 200 and boy was I surprised when I plugged in my Mesa Mark IV. Awesome little cabinet for the money. Thank you American Musical Supply.Carlos Perez professional musici
This was bought to add an extension cabinet to my mesa boogie nomad 100. My nomad was a single 12 speaker with an open back cab and needed a little more bass. the sealed fender cabinet was the exact same dimensions and fits nicely under the boogie. Sound was as I expected, bass increase as well as a tight sound from the closed back cabinet. Also raised the nomad to a better overall height. Very happy with my purchase. I did not give it 5 stars for several reasons. 1) made in Mexico which I expected for the price but that is the problem! Speaker jack fell out of the back of the cabinet when I removed the cable. Compared to yesteryear and I have owned a lot of fender equipment construction was much better. To repair the speaker jack and not go through returning the cabinet I opened the back to see what holds the jack in place. Half the screws used to seal the back of the cabinet were to short and already stripped out. There were two different length screws used and none were long enough to do the job properly! They were #6 wood screws so a trip to Lowes for proper hardware about 8 duckets worth of new fasteners (went to #8 wood screws and new finishing washers) took care of the problem. The jack is another issue that will require a large fender washer and a new jack with longer threads. about 6 duckets in hardware to repair properly. The strips of wood that hold the back on are only pressed wood and one side was spilt open from not predrilling holes and forcing the screws to create there own holes when installed. This is a time saver at the factory but poor practice in my opinion! The front baffle that holds the speaker in place was held in with 6 bolts, nuts and washers. All were loose and if I did not retighten these the vibration from the speaker would have caused these all to come apart! So over all construction was less then stellar and about what I expected for the price. Still final quality checks should have caught all of this on the assembly line.Strat Blaster
I bought this to go with a Tone King Gremlin head. I figured a fender speaker would pair well with a fender clone amp. The enclosure is quite nice. The speaker however is not. I did read the poor reviews the celestion 70/80 gets online, they are spot on. This speaker is so shrill I felt like my ears were going to bleed. It has a pronounced mid scoop. Instead of returning I decided I like the fender box enough ( and the reasonable price compared to others ) and bought a different speaker. After swapping the 70/80 with a Eminence Cannabis rex, it really sounds great.Josh B

Reviews:
I'm running this with my 5153 lbx head and it sounds great. Can only compare to my peavey 1×12 with a greenback…the cab speakers seem to have less bass response but it was easy to bring that up. Overall, I would recommend to anyone looking for a great budget cab!Aaron C
Some genius at Line 6 decided to knock 6 cents off the cost to build this otherwise very nicely built cab by using cheesey nuts on the speaker mounts THEN using red loctite on them so you can never change out the speakers without stripping the mounts.Ruairi
I have one of these and the thing is tough that's for sure. I've had this particular one for about 6 yrs or so and Its been all over the place. You can really dial in some great tones with it. The classic line 6 tones are top notch in these pre-usb era models, true grit , smooth, and triply if you're into the acid rock type. Plus if you like earlier Metal this was the amp most young musicians were playing in the late 90's. I kind of prefer it over a lot of other amps strung about that may be because I am familiar with it though I think its because it reminds me of that time era and the sound is comforting . Really, I guess it depends on what you are using it for. Its quick and versatile. But… It is what it is and it will never be a Marshal JCM or one of the Fender Classics there is no substitute for them and they're not trying to be, but its a great intermediate-pro model and for $100 you cant beat these second edition Spiders. Rock on man!!juice_3311

Very impressive construction. The only (minor) problem is the mounting hardware for the speakers do not line up with the EMINENCE speakers I put in. It's only a minor problem because TWO of four positions on the speakers DO line up and hold the speakers firmly in place. Very well built, great price, quick delivery time. Well done.James T.
The Quality is Excellent. I paid the high price figuring I was helping a small American company make it thru these Covid times. I believe it's made overseas, not the end of the world, still helping somebody. There are many struggling Musicians and gear companies at this time. I rotate an Eminence Texas Heat and a Vintage 30 and they both sound great cranked up and at low volume with many different heads pushing it . I'm satisfieddatie_28
I was looking for a horizontal 212 cab and found your company. This thing is great!!!! I installed a couple of speakers I had and it matches my guitar head just great!! Quality built and should stand a lifetime of playing. Price was right also. I could not have built one any cheaper that looks this good. I will be adding a carry strap to top but that is my only negative. Great job everybody!!WILLIAM T.

Just got this cab on a trade and it sounds really good with both my Peavey, as well as the ZT lunchbox, serving as head amps respectively. The enclosure is probably not made out of the finest wood but it feels sturdy and it is fairly heavy for its size, at about 32 lb. I really like the white tolex-looks like the EVH 112 and with the same dimensions( although the EVH will cost you three times more). I might try to match other speakers with this cab in the future, but for now I am happy with the stock one.swingordie

Overall: Sounds great! Has a lot of low end and is perfect with the RG1003 head. I've been using it playing shows for the past 6 months and it's never failed me. The only thing that sucks if that it is pretty heavy but the casters that come with it work amazing, It showed up with a little scuff on the side but nothing I was too worried about.Andrew
I plugged this cab into my 1976 Kustom Amp. All I can say is this thing ROCKS, can't believe the clear sounds, not to mention when I kick on the Dimebag Distortion LOOK OUT this Randall cab rocks harder than my Marshall cab, I'll be buying another one and a Randall Head. As always thank you AMS. for perfect service.BADD67
Well, besides the price being amazing…this thing looks cool and sounds awesome. Very pleased with this purchase, I'll probably buy another and stack these monsters.

Reviews:
I was pairing my Tweaker with a 2×10 Panama Guitar cab and could never get tone I liked. Very dark sounding. 10 band EQ pedal helped some but was still not happy. Received my Egnater 112x yesterday and I was immediately impressed with the Very noticable difference in what I was hearing. Clear and articulate and a tighter responsive bass. Much better control over sculpting my sound. I know with proper break-in period that it will improve even more. I am Very pleased with this cabscrumm21
I recently down sized my equipment to the Rebel 1/12 extension cabinet which I now own two of.I was using the 4/12 Egnater Tourmaster that sounds awesome but is very heavy. I play in a three piece band and we play a verity of music from country to heavy metal. These cabinets sound amazing for any club gig you want to play. I did keep my 4/12 cabinet incase we play a bigger venue. Egnater speaker cabinets are awesome, however, I cant say the same for their amps. They sound great but are very unreliable as they break down when you need them most.D. Blackburn
I'm not a writer in any way, but since there was no review on it I thought I would try to give some sort of direction for people looking. Overall: This is kindof your do it all amp, blues like crazy, overdriven rock does just that. The Reverb on this is really to die for. The only possible complaint is it IS so much amp. It's potentially eardrum blowing. If you really want to get into the best Overdriven state I've ever heard out of tubes, I suggest not living in an apartment or near neighbors with infants. The blues I can pull out of this is more than I've heard out of any fender in years. I've been amazingly happy with this in every aspect. I quite often use alot of pedals depending on my mood. When the rock influence is on I run clean channel with a DimeWah & Distortion among other things. Performs amazingly. When I'm running on the bridge with the Les, I don't get alot of bottom end. Seems to be nice for leads. Anything in rhythm is full bodied, highs and lows just sing out. Negatives: 18w/65w switch really doesn't seem to do what I feel like its for which is bringing down the power. When I first bought it I was hoping that this switch would give me that 100w rhythm and the 50w volume 9-10 overdrive sound which isn't the case, you get the 100w overdrive. Positive: For the one negative there is 10x positive. I'm sure I don't really touch this things total potential. I certainly wanted to get something I would never replace nor need to upgrade, which I'm positive I've gotten. Only things I've seen around Four to Five thousand have this many switches, and knobs. Speakers are the Best, Amp is amazing, Craftsmenship is all there and how I would want to make it if I was selling this myself. Might be more than your wanting if you can't take the volume for your playstyle, Blues are great even @ low volume. It's when you get into the overdrive even though it sounds amazing around 5-6, the legendary 8-10 overdrive your after is loud.

Bought this as a toy to mess about with as for this price I wasnt expecting it to be any good. My expectations dropped even more when it arrived and I saw the size of it. It is TINY!. Plugged it in to a 15w valve head and my god what a surprise. It sounds HUGE which I am still baffled by as it is a very small closed back cab. Cranked the amp expecting the speaker to collapse but nope, easily handled everything I could throw at it. Sounds really nice clean too. I am just blown away by how good this is. Might have to look at getting a proper sized Orange cab because if this is anything to go by it should be brilliant. Oh it comes with a speaker cable too 😀dan-d15b2
I've used this for about a year now with a Micro Terror Dark and I'm not that happy with it. It's primarily for home studio and recording . I should have gone with the 1×12. This one sounds a bit tinny and thin. It also cracks up a bit in anything past mid level volumes. I knew that going into the purchase as I gave away a large performance Peavy amp in leu of something where I am not keeping the neighbors up (or my kids and wife) at night. But that said – get the 1×12 – its a bit more – but I think worth it, unless you are really strapped for cash.Adamo
WOW! Surprised is an understatement… This little combo blew my tiny musical mind! I typically play through a Marshall SV20 head into two 1×12 Marshall Cabinets and have been very well pleased with the tone that it delivers. I purchased the Micro Terror + 8" Black Cabinet mostly because I wanted to sample that unique Orange sound and to have an alternative to stuffing all that Marshall gear in the car for practice or gigs. This little combo is an absolute screamer! There may only be 3x knobs on the front of it, but ****** with them for a few minutes and you will be amazed at the versatility and dynamics of this tiny little combo. It has delightfully crisp and bright clean tones and when you crank up the gain you get a huge wall of creamy controllable feedback. The "Shape" knob in the middle of the box provides a surprising amount of EQ and compression control to your sound and depending which way you spin it, makes for some very interesting mid-range cut and boost tones. I have used it as a stand alone amp in full band jam sessions and it will definitely get loud enough to be heard over your acoustic drums, bass or anything else in the room. I currently have it set up in stereo with my Marshall SV20 and it adds an indescribable but very pleasant fatness to my tone that just wasn't there before. It just makes everything sound bigger and thicker. There is no effects loop on this lil fella, but the only effect I am adding is some reverb for ambience. I also have a Marshall Guv'nor that I use to push the gain for feedback and the feedback look through that tiny little Orange cabinet is massive! It can get very loud without clipping or distorting into an **** farty mess. I honestly thought that I would play through this kit occasionally to change things up for a different sound, but this little dynamo has quickly earned it's permanent place as part of my every day rig. I see now why this little combo is so very highly rated. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that plays. Get one and hear for yourself. This is dripping with that awesome Orange sound and I'm certain you won't be disappointed.
12. Bluguitar Nanocab 60w 1×12 Compact Speaker Cabinet
Product Details:
Packs a punch the optimum punch for rock sounds is best achieved with a closed cabinet. this is how bluguitar came to the idea of the nanocabs small opening, which can easily be opened or closed according to your needs. to create more warmth the speaker was mounted to the baffle and a basket weave covering was chosen. big sounds from a small unit it doesn't matter what style of guitar you play – whether clean, crunched or high gain – jazz, blues or rock the combination of nanocaband amp1 sounds perfect! thanks to the bass-reflex harmonization, the nanocab produces a really big sound with unexpected low-end. it is also perfect for living rooms, because it has such a full and balanced sound, even at low volume. furthermore it's astounding how well this small box has established itself in a band context. the nanocab fits in a suitcase and, thanks to its compact design, can even be transported by plane, train or on a motorcycle. the bluguitar nanocab is the smallest 1×12“ box with the biggest sound a real recommendation as a compact cabinet, without any real competitors.

13. Line 6 Powercab 112 Speaker Cabinet
Product Details:
Do you use amp modeling? if so, the line 6 powercab 112 was tailor-made for you. experience every detail of your amplifier simulations, thanks to this active guitar speaker's flat frequency response and generous headroom. or enjoy that familiar "amp-in-a-room" vibe with six different built-in speaker emulations. an integrated 250-watt power amp delivers enough volume for most live situations, and a microphone-emulated output makes running straight into the pa a breeze. beyond that, the lightweight powercab 112 is easy to transport, and its foldout kickstands allow for angled backline placement or angled floor-monitor usage. line 6 knows a thing or two about amp modeling, and it shows with the powercab 112.
Reviews:
Sound: I’m very happy with the sound quality. It may not sound identical to the original speakers modeled but honestly I don’t have that good of an ear to know the difference. I do know my high gain and crunch patches with the Vintage or Green sound just like I want, and for clean-ish tones the Essex with a Vox amp does the job quite nicely. Whether it has the mythical “amp in the room” sound or not is going to be up to each user’s own ears. I will say it sounds more organic and amp-like than any FRFR I’ve used and leave it at that. Features: This has so many features it’s hard to list what I find most useful. Physical features like being fairly lightweight and having tiltback legs are certainly helpful to an old guy like me. The tiltback seems extreme but it works well and I don’t feel the need for an amp stand. MIDI or L6 link to remotely change cabinets with each patch is great, and with the L6 link it can easily be done within each patch. I also like that the L6 link runs audio and data. Why use 2 cables when you can to it all with one? The ability to use it as a standard FRFR to run IR is another cool feature and I like that if I need to I can go direct to FOH via through the PC+ and use a separate IR to FOH and speaker modeling in the cab. Lastly, this can be used with any modeler. You can send MIDI messages via standard 5 pin MIDI cable to change speakers and IR within patches from just about any modeling product. If something ever trumps the Helix, I’ll still have a great cab to pair it with. Ease of Use: It’s incredibly easy to get good sounds. Turn the knob on the top until you get a speaker you like. The speaker modeling sounds great. I’ve dabbled with some of the IR’s and they sound great too. Some folks have complained that it doesn’t have enough volume but that’s not been the case with me. You will need to make sure the output levels on your modeler are properly set to get the most volume and avoid clipping. If you aren’t familiar with how to do this, I would suggest checking out YouTube videos by Jason Sadites or Steve Sterlacci on how to properly set patch levels. It’s super easy and mostly common sense, but something a lot of folks overlook. And don’t forget to include your solo boosts when setting levels!! Quality: By all appearances it seems very well built and sturdy and has a quality feel. I know there are people using these on the road and that also says a lot about the build quality. It’s been tossed in and out of my trunk a few times now with minimal wear and tear showing. It would be nice if it was made of birch and covered with Tolex, but that would only add to the cost and weight. As it is the box is solid. Value: At first glance $799 seems expensive for a 1×12 cab. However, when you consider what it can do that others can’t and then compare it to other 1×12 FRFR that are $1,000 and up it starts becoming a better and better value. If you don’t need MIDI or remote speaker switching, then there’s also the standard Powercab that’s a couple hundred less. Sounds the same just not as many features. Manufacturer Support: Over the years I’ve purchased quite a bit of Line6 gear and they have always provided me with great support. They have a very good user forum with plenty of knowledgeable and helpful people and Line6 also has reps in some of the larger gear forums. Line6 has a good history of product updates as well. The PC+ has already received an update with some additional features and I expect they will continue to update as needed. They seem to do a pretty good job of listening to their customers when it comes to requesting features etc. The Wow Factor: Speaker modeling, FRFR, and IR all in one cab that sounds really good. That’s pretty wow to me! I think this will appeal to players like myself who use modeling and are looking for the best sound without a lot of fussing, or just plain don’t like the sound of an FRFR as much as a normal amp and cab. Overall: I just went back to Helix after using Mesa MKV and Friedman JJ amps. The band doesn’t play a lot of gigs that require miking up the guitars or using direct FOH, so the speaker I chose had to sound great on its own and not just something to monitor myself with. The last time I went down the FRFR road it didn’t work out very well. I know it’s not the boxes it’s me, but regardless I got tired of constantly trying to find the right IR or thinking I found one that sounded good at home only to have it sound like crap at band volume yada yada. When I was researching speakers for the Helix I heard a lot of great things about the Powercab so I thought I’d give it a shot. The speaker modeling is somewhat unique, and I thought it might be the shorter path to better tone for me. It arrived 2 days after I ordered and the set up was very easy. I had already decided to use L6 link instead of XLR because I wanted to remotely control the cab via the Helix and not have to set up MIDI. Out of the box it was still on an old software version and needAllan
Everything I expected from Line 6. This Power Cab Plus 112 is blowing my mind right now. I usually never go with solid state amps. I've been playing through Fender Deluxe Reverbs, Hot Rod Deluxe' and my latest Fender Princeton Reverb. These are for sure amazing go to amps. However, to my ears, with the HELIX LT that I play through, I'm getting similar tones and even more using the built-in speaker models that come with stock with the Power Cab Plus 112. I've never had this much versatility in a rig before. I love it. I also use the genuine Line 6 L6 Link cable (witch is just a good quality AES/EBU cable) connected between my HELIX LT and the Power Cab Plus 112 so that I can change speaker models on the fly with my presets. I really can't ask for more. Simple, light weight, professional sounding tones, all at my toe tips. This is good times for sure.FELIX
I had high hopes, when I saw that Line 6 was offering powered speaker cabs, I thought wow ! Like the Tech 21 Power Engine but better !!!! Wrong… I sold my pair of Tech 21 Power Engines when I purchased a pair of these cabs… wrong move. I unpacked the Power Cabs and thought .. BEAUTIFUL !!! Sturdy, stylish… when I plugged in my HELIX…. I literally could not get a usable sound out of it, I fiddled for hours. After a few days of fiddling with new presets I was able to get a decent basic sound so I thought I was golden. I took it out for on gig doing a outdoor surf meet event… OUCH ! Fizzy, treble ridden, buzz saw city. I could not even get a decent volume from it, the tone because it was so "HIFI" was so buried in the mix I could barely hear myself. Besides the lack of volume, I could not believe the absolute atrocious tone I was getting(think BUZZSAW). This is not a good match for a helix or any floor processors or modelers. I regret getting rid of my Tech 21's they were a tad noisy but they sounded 100% better than these. I keep hearing and seeing the reviews for the Plus version, but seems odd that for something that is supposed to simply amplify the sound you get from your Helix would do such a poor job. WIth the covers and the shipping I paid mucho dinero so saying I am unhappy is an understatement. I've been told with tweaking you can get the cab to sound good, I've spent hours doing this. I don't think its possible. Avoid this… I have been using my cabs as vocal monitors, just because I would get smashed if I tried to sell them. I've used this for one gig, maybe 6 times at rehearsal, sadly they are horrible, giving it 2 stars is quite generous….Guitar Kahuna

Reviews:
Overall: Overall: These speakers are an amazing value! They sounds just as good as any other FRFR speakers I've seen, and at the price, they're an absolute no-brainer. Designed for guitar multi-fx, but literally everything I've thrown at them sounds incredible. I've got two, and I run them in my backyard to play music. They are very loud, and have no problem filling a large space with sound.Features: They're a speaker in a box. Not a ton of features to be expected, although there are 2 volume-controllable XLR-1/4'' inputs, which is pretty nice. They've also got an output for daisy-chaining, but I have them running stereo, so I have no need for this.Quality: Pretty decent, especially for the price! The plastic casing seems sturdy enough to trust at gigs, although I haven't had the chance to yet. The metal grill is sturdy aswell, and has yet to dent, even after I've gotten my hands on a pair.Manufacturer Support: I've never had to contact the Manufacturer.Sound: Amazing! For a $300 speaker, these things really sound incredible. The day I got them, I literally sat there listening to my guitar's reverb tail off for what seemed like forever. Very low noise speakers, even at higher volumes.Ease of Use: They're a speaker. I'm confident you can figure them out. Value: These speakers are one of the best value FRFR speakers I've ever seen. I spent $600 on a pair, at a time where I was looking at other speakers that would have cost me double that. The Wow Factor: These speakers blew me away as soon as I plugged them in. Really a fantastic product, and I can't wait for Headrush to come out with a 4×12 cab version of these. I'd buy that in a heartbeat, get on it guys!Alexander
Overall: I shopped for months comparing the Alto, Headrush, EV, and several other options. I actually purchased the Line 6 cabinet and was tremendously disappointed in it's output and tone. I tried a headrush 112 and absolutely loved it. People will say its really bassy but I prefer it, here's why. In the age of the new modelers taking over, some of us are still used to hearing that "amp like" air moving behind us and the headrush 12 makes me feel like there's still an amp on stage with me. Tip: if you have an issue with the bass, clean up your presets a tad: there are several ways to mitigate it (low cut on the amp models, low cut in the eq chain, low cut block in the chain, low cut on effects, and so on). Some will even say that adding low cut will screw your front-of-house sound, but thats not true either for the Helix, you just need to split your signal paths so that you can enjoy the speaker as a monitor and let the sound tech also do his job. I have used it all weekend as a monitor and also as my main stage amp, PLENTY of power. Im going to buy another just to run a stereo setup. Couldnt be happier. I do wish they made a speaker cover for it though.Johnathan
( DISCLAIMER) Let me start off by saying that maybe it was just my unit that I had, or that I possibly never figured out how to dial the modeler I was using properly. Everyone is different and perhaps the settings I was using was not correct for the cabinet's character. But that being said, I found this cabinet to be a total let down. I bought one of these to go with my Kemper because I wanted a budget friendly solution and I had heard great things about this unit over the web. I kept the Headrush for about 2 weeks before returning it. I never once got a usable sound out of it. It's built really well, and I like what they were going for, but the unit just sounds bad in my opinion. It's Way too bassy, all the clean sounds sound like they have a towel over the speaker, or it has a cold, and there's no way to get rid of it either by using the contour feature or through adjusting EQs through the modeler. The high gain sounds were the worst. It really lacked any real definition and it was hard to tell the difference between a 5150 profile, and a Plexi. IT also has a weird shrill sound out of it at louder gain volumes which was odd. The last thing that killed it for me was that it had an annoying hiss sound, which could of just been my unit but it was super unpleasant. To conclude. I can't recommend this unit out there to anyone. It's not a terrible unit, but I just feel like there are better options out there. IF you are on a really tight budget and can't afford anything else, its okay, but I would recommend getting the 108 model of this. It's a little smaller, but it has the same sound quality, plenty loud, it's cheaper, and I feel like that would be a better purchase. That way you wont be spending an extra $100 on this to see if you like it or not. If you can save up a little more cash I would HIGHLY!! recommend the Laney LFR 112 Powered Cab. It's a much better cabinet, and is in that same more budget friendly price range, and just sounds fantastic!ToneMage

I am so tired and worn out before playing a gig! To hell with heavy amps and speaker cabinets. The 210 is a perfect match for my 500. Thanks, Fender for a GREAT Bass Rig. Lightweight and has an awesome sound.Paulie
I use this cabinet with a fender rumble V3 2×10 combo and it fits perfectly in a neat stack. These V3 products are really great for the money as the quality is really good and the looks are really nice. They have that nice vintage vibe to them. As far as sound goes, this extension cab does produce very low sound as well as punchy mids and very clear highs. I play a lot of slap type stuff and this sucker translated that very well. Rock, jazz, r &b, country, whatever you play it will come across right. For what it is it gets really loud and sounds full and articulate to me. Every expressive thing I can throw at it with my bass, this cab reproduces it nicely. When playing at very high levels with LOTS of bass, the speakers do tend to break up a bit but that's really due to over driving my EQ with an unnatural amount of bass. I tried so many different sounds and it works great. Honestly when I say very high levels I mean a level I would never play at anyway. This cab won't fill a 50K seat auditorium, but that's not the intention. For small to small/medium venues, this is perfect. If you want just a little more booty but don't mind the mismatch look, the V3 1×15 sounds a bit fuller to me. Really it's up to you, both are worth every penny. Buy both cabs. The price is right. If you are considering this cabinet, try it. Musicians friend is sooo easy to work with. They offer terms that can't be beat. So, yes it's awesome. Worth every penny.Chippy
I bought this cab to round out my Bass set up. I recently purchased the Fender Bassman 500 (I absolutely love that head!)and the Rumble 1×15 cab. For most of what I do that was fine as I like a nice round tone that the 1×15 gives. I bought the 2×10 to add a bit of punch and to move move more air than the 1×15 alone. I am super satisfied with the both cabs. Fender puts out a great product, it not only sounds fantastic but looks great on stage as well. The set up has more power than I need but it is nice to be able to play and know there is more power if ever needed. Like all Fender products I expect this will last a lifetime with proper care. This icing on the cake is that both cabs weigh under 40 pounds each and don't break my back moving on and off the stage. PS don't forget your ear plugs, these cabs have the power to destroy your hearing!Bassman

Received my order 3 days after my order on a Wednesday. Have not had very much time to play with it. Have it paired with a Fender 2×10" Rumble cab. This 15" cab provides a much needed bottom that the Rumble(lots of mid)does not give. I plan to use this for larger indoor/outdoor venues that the Rumble will not cover. Using an Ampeg PF 350 head so this and the Rumble are well within the power handling of 350 watts at 4 ohms.Peter M.
Great addition to my rig. Prior to purchase I was playing an Ampeg PF 350 into a Rumble 2×10" cab. I was lacking some bottom end, the Rumble was a little weak there but is good for mid to high end. This cabinet exceeded what I was looking for, strong bottom end. I'm using both as a stack with the 15" cab on the bottom. I've only used it for practice but have an upcoming outdoor gig. I'm sure my set up will handle that. Would recommend SA for all speaker needs, both Bass and Guitar.Peter A.
Met my need for a robust portable bass guitar cabinet! Constuction is excellent – solid even though it’s MDF not plywood. Swapped out the seismic speaker (no offense) for a JBL K140. Worked like a charm. Might consider putting a horn in it. We’ll work the money. Thanks. IanIan R.
17. Orange Crush Pro 412 Guitar Speaker Cabinet
Product Details:
The orange crush pro crpro412 4×12 cabinet features the same durable construction as its larger sibling, the orange ppc412, in a smaller, lighter and more portable package. an 18mm birch plywood cabinet, hard wearing woven paper grille cloth, skid runners and steel hardware ensure the crpro412 is built to handle the rigours of the road, while a quartet of custom designed 12" voice of the world speakers deliver a full and punchy bottom-end, creamy mids and sweet highs. its high power handling makes the crpro412 an excellent pairing for virtually any orange head, as well as heads from other brands, although its crisp voice really suits the crush pro range, terror series and th heads.
Reviews:
This cabinet is slightly smaller than the ppc412, however the sound it can produce is very clear and full. It doesn't have the celestion vintage 30's but I wouldn't hesitate to run these voice of the world speakers in any performance. The cabinet is very solid and good looking and I don't foresee any reason I would ever need to replace it. I am actually considering a second cabinet to make full stack.Nate
An awesome cab, very well made and transport friendly for a 412, 240Watt cabinet. I was pairing the cab w/ my CR120H. I played many hours hoping to break in or loosen up the speakers a bit. For me the harshness and midrange was just too distinguished or prominent. I could compensate by lowering the guitars and amp's tone controls halfway but lost to much on the high and low end of the guitar. I kept switching between an 8Ohm 410 Marshall cab (140watts) to the 16Ohm Orange cab. The Marshall 8Ohm cab was louder, richer and all frequencies were much more favorable to the ear w/ the same settings on the head. For me a lower wattage cab may have been the answer (120-200Watt)so they could be pushed at a lower volume, tube or solid state. I returned the CR pro 412. G.C. was very helpful ordering and returning my purchase.Rooney
Amazing construction, plywood instead os OSB like budget Marshall cabs. The Voice of the world speakers are not my favorite, but once they are broken in they sound really good. If you need a reasonably priced cab this is for you!Taylor
18. Prs Mark Tremonti Mt 1×12 Cabinet
Product Details:
The mt 15 is a commanding two channel amp with balanced aggression and articulation. powered by 6l6 tubes, the mt 15 has a large, bold sound, so you can dig in heavy with rhythms but also get singing lead tones out of one amp. whether recording, practicing, writing, or playing a small room, this amp has everything you need. the mt 15’s design started with heavier players in mind, but in the end, it has a lot to offer players of all genres. like the prs archon amplifier, the mt 15 features five gain stages before the master for full, lush distortion. the gain channel gets big, chunky tone with massive, tight low end, but it never loses its articulate note definition or great lead tone. the clean channel is bright and chimey, good with chords and fingerstyle playing – whether with a pic or not. the clean channel also features a push/pull boost control that adds a little overdrive for old school crunch. no matter what tone you dial in, the mt 15 stays balanced across the spectrum with a sweet, smooth tone that won’t bite your head off. additional features include an effects loop and bias adjusters that are accessible from the back panel for ease of servicing. despite its 15 watts, the mt 15 sounds more like 50, so a half power switch that takes the mt to 7 watts is a welcome addition. bottom line, the amount of features, the hugeness of the sound, and the raw horsepower of the circuit make the mt 15 an impressive lunchbox hero. the mt 15 is mark tremonti’s first signature amplifier.

I believe cabs and amps are made to be paired. So getting another MT112 to compliment my PRS MT-15 and other MT112 is great to complete my mini stack. The MT-15 and two MT112s are perfect for my gigs.miller_time_915
Paired this with a Hughes & Kettner TM-18 also purchased from AMS. The Celestion V-30 speaker is something I’ve used before and is an awesome speaker for a variety of tones. PRS just makes gear right. The cab is built solid. Cleans are absolutely pure and as you break up the signal the cab projects crisp. It maintains this integrity as you get to “11”. Very impressed but not surprised as it is PRS.Brad E
Considering the reasonable price, I decided to try this cab. I've been playing for about 40 years, but I don't have a lot of experience experimenting with different speakers and cabs. I had been told by many other guitarists not to bother with the new Celestion V-type because it is made in China, yet I just couldn't resist the price. I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised with this cab. I play mostly clean, and sometimes a little overdrive, but never distortion. The cab does sound evenly balanced across the frequency spectrum. For my taste and style, I prefer a bit more scoop in the low mids, and occasionally, the bottom end in this cab is a bit too soft for me, but that could be due to the depth of the cab and not the speakers themselves. I can't speak for how this cab would do with heavy metal or even classic rock, but there are certainly no frequencies that seem to jump out and make the cab sound notched. Also, I like the clarity of the mids. Luckily, I didn't get any mud from this cab, just a nice, smooth balance.sparrow

If you want a classic rock and roll sounding cab this is the one for you. It's perfect for 70's rock, hard rock. Looks beautiful aswel. And comes with wheels.
The straight cab completed my full stack. I definitely would recommend the angled cab first or if buying only one 4×12. This thing roars! I am using a Marshall 205h head with it and the tones are unbelievable. Of course this setup is meant to be driven and played at high levels, but you can still get decent tones at practice levels. I use an Tube Screamer with it at lower volumes which I think helps. Lastly, don't listen to the naysayers! It is true that a full stack is" unnecessary" but it's a 10 on the cool meter so go for it! It might be a little impractical but you'll smile every time you look at it!Jetblast
I bought this cabinet as an alternative to my 1960A with G12T-75 speakers. My primary gigging amp is a RockittRetro '68 Marshall 1987 plexi clone. The AX cabinet gives me a much warmer, vintage tone. The Greenback speakers are very musical. I've used it live twice now and it's my new #1. Very happy with this cabinet.none

The speaker cabinet was promptly shipped and arrived with no damage. Breaking in the stock speakers now. The 2 12" speakers sound better that I expected for the price point as I was expecting to swap out the stock speakers right away, but I will wait and see. The whole package is a screamin deal! Might buy another one.Pat H.
Purchased the SA-212 cab about a year ago now and I've just gotten done putting it through the paces. Major kudos to Seismic Audio for making an affordable 2×12 with surprising sturdy build quality with excellent clarity and depth to match! I run my EMG X-Series equipped seven string guitar through a Peavey 6505 head with a boost in front and a graphic EQ in the fx loop like any (in)sane metal head would. I would be lying if I said I haven't been completely floored by this cabinet since day one. The top end is clear and crisp and there's enough deep bass to crumble sheetrock walls lol. It definitely has a voicing all its own and it honestly might sound better than my Mesa 2×12 with V30s. It took me a little re-learning how to dial in my amp to get the most out of it, but when I finally found "that" tone, I knew it was gonna be one heck of a ride and faces have melted accordingly. If you're on the fence like I was, take the chance with this cab. I am farest from disappointed and I'm sure you will be too.
The cab I bought did not have the center front to back brace that was in the photos at the the time. I brought this up with Seismic and they said "oops, we didn't know" basically. They updated the photos since but offered nothing to me. Also, "carpet" is a loose description of the covering. It's felt. Internal edge bracing does not go from edge to edge. It starts at the floor of the cabinet but stops a few inches from the top of the cabinet. The back and walls are an inexpensive particle board. The front baffle is as described. You will need to drill and add your own t-nuts and mounting screws. For the money, it's a decent cab but is not pro quality. Good for simple home use. Shipment and correspondence were quick as always with Seismic.
