I got my 1×12 cabinet for compact use. It works and sound great. Bad knees and joints from being prior military makes a 412 or 212 hauling to practice or gigs a pain, so compartmentalizing it all is good. It’s way easier to swap speakers too. It’s sturdy which is good. I recommend it.William B.
This is my second Seismic 1×12. The first one I bought was years ago… this new one has some improvements over the original in terms of fit n finish. When I bought the first one, you had to install the T nuts your self. This one came with them pre installed. The only issue for this cab is the spacing holes are meant for Celestion and my example did not fit my Eminence speaker at all! So if you are planning to load an Eminence speaker in here, you may have issues. Otherwise…. I really do not think you can beat these. Those 440live cabinets aren't even as good.Max S.

Purchased the SA-212 cab about a year ago now and I've just gotten done putting it through the paces. Major kudos to Seismic Audio for making an affordable 2×12 with surprising sturdy build quality with excellent clarity and depth to match! I run my EMG X-Series equipped seven string guitar through a Peavey 6505 head with a boost in front and a graphic EQ in the fx loop like any (in)sane metal head would. I would be lying if I said I haven't been completely floored by this cabinet since day one. The top end is clear and crisp and there's enough deep bass to crumble sheetrock walls lol. It definitely has a voicing all its own and it honestly might sound better than my Mesa 2×12 with V30s. It took me a little re-learning how to dial in my amp to get the most out of it, but when I finally found "that" tone, I knew it was gonna be one heck of a ride and faces have melted accordingly. If you're on the fence like I was, take the chance with this cab. I am farest from disappointed and I'm sure you will be too.
The cab I bought did not have the center front to back brace that was in the photos at the the time. I brought this up with Seismic and they said "oops, we didn't know" basically. They updated the photos since but offered nothing to me. Also, "carpet" is a loose description of the covering. It's felt. Internal edge bracing does not go from edge to edge. It starts at the floor of the cabinet but stops a few inches from the top of the cabinet. The back and walls are an inexpensive particle board. The front baffle is as described. You will need to drill and add your own t-nuts and mounting screws. For the money, it's a decent cab but is not pro quality. Good for simple home use. Shipment and correspondence were quick as always with Seismic.

I use this Cab 27 as a home practice amp. Being more of an audiophile than a musician, I'm critical to sound quality. I was shocked with how well engineered the Cab 27 is. I use this cab with a Vox Night Train 15w head. It is a little too bright with the stock speaker, but I was expecting that. I love this cab however, built solidly, tolex looks good and it seems like it will last a long time. I de-badged it, as I do with most things, and what is nice is that is only removing two screws and there is no glue. So it looks like just a generic cab. BUY IT! You may need a speaker swap for which I reccomend warehouse guitar speakers. I got the reaper HP to use with the night train and it made a HUGE difference. This cab is a permanent addition.The Beag

From what I have heard, these are absolutely amazing! Unfortunately, every time I go to order a pair of these…They are out of stock. When I contacted the company, I was informed that these are barely made because they are not popular….I find that a little hard to believe because every time they wind back up on the shelf…they're gone within a week or two! I actually found these used at my local GC, and since I had been playing through my friend's 2×15 cab for over a year, I knew I had to have them! I was afraid of losing a little of the low end by going to a 1×15, but surprisingly there's still plenty there (probably too much before?). The 2×10 adds just the right brightness and punch. I couldn't ask for a better setup. Yes, I now have to make two trips to carry them in, but it is two easy trips instead of one heavy and hard to handle trip with the 2×15. I play in a rock 'n roll cover band, playing everything from Bryan Adams to White Zombie, and Franz Ferdinand to Led Zeppelin, with some Iron Maiden and Queensryche thrown in. These cabs keep up with all of it! I play through a 200w SWR Workingman's 2004 amp head and have plenty of headroom no matter what venue we are playing. I definitely recommend this combo!Kyle D.
Ive purchased this bass cab and paired it with a trace eliot elf bass amp and Allen Eden jazz bass v…….the sound is flawless. It cuts right though the mix and I get alot of compliments from band members and the sound guy while playing at church. It's not too heavy and fits great inside my lil 4 door sedan while traveling to different gigs and churches. I feel like this cab is very sturdy and reliable, I would describe the sound to gk swr and aguilar cabs.

I've been playing guitar for almost 40 years and always in search of the right cabinet to compliment my many amp heads. Fortunately, I found this cabinet and it has performed perfectly. It is solid and has a great sounds. I found it to be very well built and the price couldn't be beat. I have gigged out with this cabinet many times and have recommended Seismic Audio cabinets to many of my musician friends.
This particular cab was missing one set of bolt but the mount points don't ever align with all four points on these cabs. You get 2 or 3 points you can actually use. The speaker cut outs aren't even but its covered with a grill. Despite that if you can snag one for under $200 I would certainly buy Seismic cab (I have 3 so far) over building it myself or buying it from someone else.Peter H.

I was looking for an inexpensive bass cab for an old head I had so I didn't need anything too fancy, or pricey. I'm a guitarist so I don't geek out too much on bass gear. Just wanted something with excellent Value for Money as a routine principle– SA delivered. I set it up the other day and put it through it's paces. It's sturdy, manageable in weight, clean, and sounds like a monster 2×15 should. Will be adding casters of some sort though I am able to one-hand carry in the upright position like a heavy suitcase without too much trouble. Would definitely recommend the product and the manufacturer based on this purchase.Peter P.
Awesome cab. I have a Hartke HA5500 hooked to it and it sounds amazing. Deep bass and great mids and highs. 66lbs so not too heavy at all. I installed casters and stand it on its side. Looks great and everything is at arm level. Have played a few gigs with it so far and so far so good!Jeffrey M.

Our "luke series" seismic audio empty guitar cabinets are made of 1/2 inch birch plywood on all 6 sides. these cabinets come loaded with everything you need except the speaker. these each have a wheat grill of various colors and are covered with a clean cut tolex. the luke series cabinets can be front loaded, as the front cloth grill is removable and easily reapplied. some of the luke series empty guitar cabinets cab be rear loaded as well. each cabinet comes with a dual 1/4 inch metal jack plate and plenty of wire to hook up your speaker. each cabinet is well braced and offers a nice boutique look.

Purchased this cab recently and installed a Jenson 1×12 speaker. Amazing quality and craftsmanship for the money. This is a well built cab and prewired with predrilled holes. This is a great cabinet for the money, and I think you would be hard pressed to find a better value. Mine arrived blemish free, was solidly built and wired up for an easy speaker installation. I really like the wheat grille too, and think it's a nice look. I wish the Seismic nameplate was removeable, but that's not a big deal. Don't listen to the negative jackelopes out there saying "Seismic is garbage, get Avatar" etc etc. Sure Avatar is better, but it's also 2X the cost. I seriously believe these Seismic cabs would fit the bill for like 90% of players needs out there. The 90% that are not Slash, Steve Vai or David Gilmour.Jason W.

In excellent shape save for a few little tolex tears around the bottom rim.although, smaller than most 4 x 10 and tweeter cabinets, this innovative design blends the punch and quickness of four premium neodymium 10 drivers, in a vented bass reflex enclosure, and the performance and pattern control of a 6 x 3 neodymium paper cone driver line array element. the placement of the line array in front, and between the 10 woofers further provides an extremely broad projection pattern, immediate quickness and clarity that is not possible with standard 4 10 designs. also due to line array principals the all-important mid and high frequencies have a much wider horizontal dispersion with a more controlled vertical pattern. this offers the most even projection possible around the perimeter of the stage and audience.

Overall: As soon as I plugged this cab into my Mesa Titan Big Block V12 amp, I knew I was in for a surprise. I found myself playing sliding runs and bending notes in the first several seconds after powering up. I don't normally play that way so I knew it was the speaker cab that was inspiring me to go that direction. I just sat there and jammed. I normally play through a 4×12 Mesa cab. I also used to play through 2 ampeg 4×10 cabs, so I am used to playing through great cabs and I know how a great cab should perform. I was worried about this cab at first as it is only 55 lbs but after throwing my back out while loading my Mesa 4×12 I was willing to take the "risk". At rehearsal, I simply tasked this cab to do everything I expected from my other cabs and it did? Like I said, I'm used to big heavy cabs and this was a change for me. Highs and mids are very present while lows punch and it has no difficulty with my 5 string bass tuned down a step. It is very loud and powerful. I have not played through my Mesa 4×12 cab since I bought this cab last month. No need. I have everything I need in this 55 lb monster.Billy

I have always been on the fence about SA. I was initially hesitant about quality in sound and build. However, once I unboxed my SA 4×8 and rigged up my SWR 350x and 1×15 Kustom cab with this beautiful cab at my thrash metal practice I was instantly sold. This cab has so much punch and all the cut that I was craving. Sad to hear that this cabinet is discontinued. By the time I decide to purchase a second one I fear it will be no longer available. I have not had the cab more than a week so I can't comment on the long term durability. I am a little worried about how it will hold up over the years if it is constructed from MDF. I plan to have a padded vinyl cover made for the cab to keep it safe from weather, spills, and load in/out wear. Overall I am extremely pleased with SA and their gear selection. I am already planning to replace my kustom 1×15 with a SA cab in the future.
