Ok so it's Chinese made, but this is why it does not cost 1500. The build quality is good, the setup out of the box was great. Low action and easy to play, even accounting for wider than standard 6 string neck. ( And I don't have long fingers) The electrics work great and the hidden nature of controls is cool, if you don't want a big hole cut in the side of your guitar. Solid woods throughout, with great finish. Weakest point is the tuners, but it holds tune well for a 12 string, which in itself is unheard of!jacol-431
I've wanted a Guild 12-string since college, over over 40 years ago. Back then I had a Lyle Hummingbird clone 12-string, which sounded okay (laminated body, spruce top, Japanese manufacture.) Before I left college I also bought a Guild G-37, blonde, arch back 6-string. I still have both guitars. I loved the sweet, well balanced tone of the G-37, but could never afford one of their 12-strings to mate up with it. Fast forward to now – haven't played any of my guitars in several years, and wanted to get back into it. With the Westerly Collection, a 12 string was now affordable, and all the reviews and videos convinced me that this was the time! My new F2512E Deluxe arrived the other day, and it's stunning! Flawless finish, precision inlays, and oh that tone! Just like the tone of some of my favorite artists from the folk era, like John Denver. Can't wait to try Rocky Mountain High on this baby, but I'll also be learning or relearning some more contemporary tunes as well. Thanks Guild for making an affordable but terrific sounding 12!Mike
Bought this guitar to add to my acoustic collection. For this price my exoectations were low as I own a Martin, Gibson, Ovation Elite and Yamaha Transacoustic all which cost considerbly more so I was abslutely blown away by this guitar. It came perfectly setup out of the box with nice low action-no adjustment needed. The glossy sunburst finish over the flamed maple back and sides is absolutely beautiful-the top and is matched spruce and the back is matched flamed maple. Beautiful shimmery sound and the pickup sounds great plugged into my deluxe reverb amp. The satin neck finish is smooth and the frets are smooth and polished. The quality of this guitar is outstanding-I could not find a flaw in its material or construction anywhere. Nice bright maple jumbo guitar that I am glad I purchased. Don't let the price point and the made in China sticker scare you away-this guitar holds its own against my Martin HD-35, Gibson hummingbird and my other acoustic guitars. I bought a gator jumbo case to keep it safe and the ase fits nicely.DWB

A comfortable guitar… not as bulky as a dreadnaught. Just right for fingerpickers. Awesome sound for a smaller sized guitar. Perfect for the "folk baroque" sound like John Renbourn. I intended to buy a cheap parlor guitar but then I saw this one, bought it and knew it was a keeper. Only con, as is the case with all out of the box guitars, it needs to be set up properly for comfortable playing. Have Guitar Center do it for you or other experienced repair person. 3. Guild F-2512e 12-String Acoustic Guitar Maple

This guitar comes with a first-rate roadrunner case. this is a beautiful 12 string acoustic. the top is a lovely spruce. i have tried in three photos to make clear the inch long scratch on the top near the strap button. as far as scratches go, this one is placed pretty well. it goes with the grain, as you can see in the photos, so you have to catch it in the light just right to see it. sides and back are maple, and the arched back, with its tiger eye-style markings, is especially beautiful. as you can imagine, it has a bright yet robust ringing sound. it does have a piezo pickup, and the electronics, like everything else on this guitar, work perfectly. it has been kept in a humidity-controlled, smoke-free home. it comes with a roadrunner case that is in perfect structural condition, but the previous owner had children who chose to do a little light coloring on the top.

First off, some people don't know the real characteristics of a Guild 12 string. And, no, they aren't ALL supposed to be deep….The wood determines the sound. Denser wood, deeper sound…lighter wood, brighter the sound…I bought one after playing MANY 12 strings. Including Taylor, Martin, Takamine….and this one was my favorite. Frets easy, sound is bright yet full, loud, and just a great guitar. As for the electronics..ehh..not the best…but…I am running a LR Baggs acoustic preamp pedal and it brings the guitars natural sound. I turn up the bottom just a bit…sounds amazing…LOVE THIS GUITAR…and it's beautiful to boot….Jamie
I ran into one of these in a guitar store and was immediately impressed compared to the other 12-strings in the acoustic room. It's not a Guild 512, but it has a good, solid sound and nice neck. I was concerned about the tuners, but they seem to work fine and stay in tune and they are the same as on the deluxe Westerly models. My guitar showed up with a detached soundhole control. I almost sent it back, but I liked the sound of the guitar enough that I just decided to reattach the soundhole control with some double sided tape. We'll see how that holds up, but I wasn't impressed with the original glue job. Otherwise, nice guitar. A 12-string has so much going on sonically, that I don't think I need a more expensive model to get good sound. The pickup sounds nice, too. I also like the satin finish. Good guitar. This is the worst guitar for the money I have ever purchased. My brother took sick just before it was delivered. I never got a chance to check this guitar before the time expires. Where should I start. To say this guitar's flyncey is an understatement. The neck is very uneven! The body is so thin even at its great size it cannot give a deep tone. The head of this guitar is heavier than the whole guitar. I see positive reviews on this guitar and I wonder which cartoon characters are posting them or if they are even real. The sound system is is pathetic! It does not matter which amplifier or PA system I play it through it is totally inadequate. And it is incapable of being used in any type of venue through any type of sound system. Why put it in there at all. Guild should be ashamed of itself!!!!! Overall: I ordered the Guild F-250CE from zZounds and was promptly shipped this Guitar and also a Gator jumbo case to go with it. I was very skeptical of a guitar in this price range but ordered it anyway. I figured if I didn't like it, I could return it. I've been playing Guitar for over 40 years and play a Martin HD28, Taylor 810E DLX, Guild F55 and aTakamine John Jorgenson 12 string. My expectations were high and I purchased the Guild F250CE because I was looking for a Guitar that was balanced but with a nice crisp bright tone and I am not disappointed!The quality is excellent on this Guitar and she's a beauty. The top is a nice Sitka Spruce and the back and sides are beautiful Flamed Maple. I'm not sure if the sides and back are a veneer but I can tell you that looking inside the Guitar, it's definately Maple. Trim and finish are excellent. This Guitar rivals American made guitar at 4 times the cost. I've added a bone saddle and bridge pins and this improved the sound a bit, (not that there was anything wrong with the sound to start.) I did have to adjust the neck which is normal for a new guitar. The action is excellent with no fret buzz whatsoever. She's so easy to play up and down the entire scale. The fret work is good and fretboard wood is excellent.The sound on the under $700 Guild is outstanding. She has plenty of bottom end bass and you can feel every note in your chest while playing the guitar. The mids are very nice but the top end is the gem on the F-250CE. She's nice and bright with tons of sustain. This guitar sounds better than some of my American made guitars and I'm playing it more than my other acoustics. Don't let the made in China dissuade you. In my opinion this Guitar is worth much more than I played for it. How do they make a beautiful Guitar for so little dollars? This guitar would be a great add for beginner to advanced players. Bang for the buck, you can't beat it!
The flamed maple back and sides are really nice looking. The spruce top isn't the most select grade visually, but the sound quality is still excellent and the sunburst finish still looks good. It feels solid and well made with good tuners. It is a really big guitar, that along with the maple body and arched back provides lots of volume. Just needs a case.Okie Picker

I've been a fan of Guild Guitars for many years. I'm 73 now and when I started taking guitar lessons when I was 16 years old I learned on a Guild Guitar. I always loved the way the Guitars played and felt and this latest purchase of the Guild X175 Manhattan Special Hollow Body was no exception. It was everything I expected from a Guild Guitar. The Guitar just looks beautiful and the build quality is excellent. First time out playing it the Guitar received many favorable comments. I play acoustic sessions with a friend in my basement. Was looking for some new instruments to mix things up (I also bought the Guild F-2512E 12-string which is phenomenal for the price). The vintage look of this guitar caught my eye. I played others (Gretsch G5420T, Godin Kingpin). They were good, but I preferred the rich tones that I heard from this Guild in the online videos. The guitar is even more impressive in real life. The finish is gloss (some pictures look matte). It's gorgeous. And tone, tone, tone. I've mostly played this through my iRig with virtual amps and headphones to jam along to songs. My friend lent me his Gibson ES335, and this Guild sounds better. Super versatile from classic jazz to rock distortion with that bit of vintage twang. The P90 pickups do hum when you add distortion, but this is the tradeoff for better tone. I was concerned about the floating bridge and vibrato tailpiece knocking it out of tune, but it stays in tune great. I was also concerned that the U-shape neck and 9.5" fretboard radius would be too different from my Martin D-16RGT. But I easily go back and forth between the two guitars. There isn't much unamplified acoustic value to this guitar, but that's true with every archtop I played. Really nice hard case too.Dan
This is the most versatile guitar that I own. the main reason I purchased it is for jazz. It is definitely a throwback from the 50's. What I've found is that it also has some twang, it can be a rock and blues machine! The vintage sunburst is beautiful and flawless, as is the fretwork and neck. Mine did not need a setup but I did lower the bridge, the nut was cut perfect and all is well. It took a little time to intonate but that was easy enough. The pickups do not sound like P-90's to me as they are low output but beautifully smoothe for my needs. Also, it comes with a nice Guild case and they even put a second bridge in the case! The Newark St guitars do seem to recapture the style and sound of the past. Guild has taken some of their classic guitars and made them available and my X 175 Manhattan has captured my heart. I love this guitar. It's the best sounding axe I have ever played. Hard to put down.
I have a vintage Takamini 12 string that I love. It's a beauty. But there is a reason Guild is considered the 12 string king. Clearly they put serious time into designing and making this guitar. You just have to pick up this and immediately are aware the quality, strength, tone of this is on another level. It projects a rich tone unlike anything I've ever heard. The build and action is perfect. It's an extremely easy guitar to play. The neck is ridiculously strong and can handle thick strings but I recommend lighter gauge still. It makes it even more of a gem to play and sounds amazing and you don't need as much truss rod.Scott
Great tone and volume. It has warmth and dimension when played lightly but can produce a tremendous range without ever sounding harsh or overplayed. It is responsive to player input and responds well different styles and techniques of playing. It is the first 12-string that I have ever played that works well with capo and slide. This guitar has an amazing sound and the archback give it a full sound. I also own the Guild OM-240e and absolutely love it. So I saw that this is essentially the same, but is smaller. I wanted a travel guitar and one to use on the couch. This is perfect, it is a smaller body and has a sound that is surprising for its size. The solid spruce top give it a bright sound and the mahogany back and sides, coupled with the archback is a perfect combination. The action is spot on and was set up perfectly from the get go. I have played many Martin's and Taylor's and a few Gibson's and I will say that this little guitar is on par, actually better, because the price is a fraction of the cost! Good guitar for recording. The sound hole pickup works well. This the first sound hole pick up in a guitar that I have owned and is a completely different animal. The last 3 times I went to Guitar center I picked this up and the 3rd time it followed me home. As you get older, and your belly gets bigger a smaller guitar fits better.OldFartDave

Bought this to play in the bedroom for practice tonight. Wanted something with a gloss finish and a little fancier than most entry to mid level guitars. Got the guitar and it looked and sounded great! The action from the factory was pretty high and there was plenty of saddle to adjust it down to were I wanted it. The fret ends could us a little dressing as they're not the smoothest, but I'll get to that eventually. Very happy with this purchase and it will probably be with me for awhile!Jonathan
It's hard to describe the feeling I got when I unpacked this guitar (after waiting the recommended 24 hours) and strummed the first chord and it was in tune! This guitar is amazing and an incredible value. You'll be hard pressed to find an instrument with the same specs for under. The fit and finish is flawless and the sound it makes goes head to head with my Guild F-250 deluxe tone cannon! The solid mahogany is tight and pleasant sounding for finger picking and you can strum it as hard as you want and she won't crack! This was my first time buying from Sweetwater and it was a smooth transaction and lighting fast shipping. Much much better experience from another huge online store. Bought the F-250E to play small gigs. It is beautiful and booms! I also bought Gator's inexpensive jumbo case which is for sale with most major online vendors – it fits like a custom build. It is gig-able right out of the delivery truck. I am 6 foot and of average frame and ergonomically it is quite comfortable despite its size. You will catch yourself staring at the finish, it could have fallen out of a time machine from 1956. I highly recommend the F-250E.Thomas
Extremely happy with the Jumbo! Very pleasing warm tone. very loud if you get into it. Depending on the setting, play Rythm you may not need an amp. The finish is impeccable. 8/16/21. Recieved my f 250 from sweetwater. Couldnt be more pleased. Guitar came double boxed with plenty xtra padding. Only thing needed was a small tune.played great..However im kind of picky, so after an hour playing it, i destrung it and made a few minor personal adjustments.String action, truss rod, and new DR sunbeam strings 12 -53,s.This is an amazing guitar ,for what you pay, your getting twice the guitar.blindfold me ,let me play it, and i would believe i was playing a 1000.00 guitar. Nachdem ich die per Versand bei mir eingetroffene Guild D-2612CE Deluxe Antique Sunburst erwartungsvoll auspackte, war der erste Gesamteindruck von dem Instrument nach schneller Übersicht erst einmal recht gut. Eine insgesamt saubere und wertige Verarbeitung, und eine tolle Optik. Auf den zweiten Blick wurde mir die recht hohe Saitenlage gewahr. Nach dem späteren Stimmen und Anspielen wurde klar dass ein ungehindertes und entspanntes Greifen ab etwa dem 5. Bund so nicht möglich ist. Für eine Gitarre mit Cutaway, welche also das Spiel bis in die höheren Lagen ermöglichen sollte, ein eher unverständlicher (werkseitiger) Auslieferungszustand. Der Hals war zwar gerade, jedoch die Stegeinlage recht hoch… Da wäre also erst einmal der Gang zum Gitarrenbauer, zwecks Nacharbeiten erforderlich geworden. Zudem wären dort dann auch die Sattelkerben nachzuarbeiten gewesen, weil die Saiten beim Stimmen fürchterlich im Sattel hingen. Ok, grundsätzlich bisher alles machbar und verschmerzbar, wenn sich nicht noch ein weiteres Problem gezeigt hätte. Und zwar die mindere Qualität der Stimmtuner. Ehrlich gesagt, so etwas schlechtes erwarte ich bei einer Gitarre zum Neupreis von unter 100 Euro, aber nicht bei einem Markeninstrument für 640 Euro. Sehr ungleich und schwergängig, wobei einer der Tuner sogar nahezu klemmte und sich eher defekt anfühlte. Also auch bei völlig entspannter Saite, somit unabhängig von der schlecht gefeilten Sattelkerbe. Den Piezo-Tonabnehmer habe ich an einem Digitech RP355 über Kopfhörer getestet und da war nach meinem ersten Eindruck an der Qualität nichts auszusetzen. Fazit: Wäre ich bereit gewesen, die genannten Nacharbeiten in Kauf zu nehmen, einschließlich Austausch der Stimmmechaniken, hätte ich nun sicher eine ansonsten prima verarbeitete Gitarre. Und, natürlich muss meine Erfahrung NICHT auf alle Exemplare dieser Serie zutreffen!! Die Gitarre klingt übrigens auch sehr präsent, schön und ausgewogen, wobei ich den Punch in den Bässen ein wenig vermisse. Was möglicherweise auch an der werkseitigen Bespannung liegen kann. Ich habe mich dazu entschlossen die Gitarre zurück zu senden und ich werde statt dessen eine Zwölfsaitige von einem anderen Hersteller (diesmal aus europäischer Produktion?) auswählen. Abwicklung u. Korrespondenz seitens MUSIC STORE, trotz der pandemischen Bedingungen, wie immer kundenorientiert und top !

I went in a shop in Dortmund Germany just looking for flutes and keyboards for my wife. I had put myself on a guitar buying freeze, to quiet my wife, I am sure some of you guys know what I mean. then I wondered, by accident into the guitar parlor with 100 guitars in the room. So for merely educational purposes, I tried to play every solid wood guitar. I started from the cheapest to the Martins, Taylors, and Lakewoods. Well I was not a fan of the Taylor, I had a Martin at home and I wanted to really buy a Lakewood. But the last guitar the shop owner bought to me was the Mahogany Guild. I strummed it and it was the best sounding guitar to my ears. I compared it to the sprue top Guilds and this one was better and much better than the Lakewood. So I told the owner I would think about this hoping someone would come and buy it in the next moment. Well, My wife bought the guitar. I was one smiling dude. The guitar is beautiful and has a great tone, but the action is high (not certain if the nut will need to be shaved), and the strings are heavier than I'm used to making it harder to play. There is one note that when played there is fret buzz. The blemish isn't noticeable. I can't wait until things open up so I can get it to a luthier. I own the 2014 version of this model (the D125.) The tone is rich and even when strummed but articulates well for flatpicking melodies. When I played it for the first time I was surprised how vibrant it was. After playing other mahogany guitars, I wasn't expecting to like the sound this much. The action is low without buzzing on the frets. I really enjoy playing this instrument.Peter

Loving this guitar, nice compact size, big, punchy voice and easy to play. The flat finish is clean look and not fussy (not a fingerprint magnet), the tuners work well, and love the open back vintage look of them. And Guild includes all the allen wrenches and even a screwdriver to make adjustments…how cool. I'm thinking there may be another Guild guitar in my future.Tim
This guitar has an amazing sound and the archback give it a full sound. I also own the Guild OM-240e and absolutely love it. So I saw that this is essentially the same, but is smaller. I wanted a travel guitar and one to use on the couch. This is perfect, it is a smaller body and has a sound that is surprising for its size. The solid spruce top give it a bright sound and the mahogany back and sides, coupled with the archback is a perfect combination. The action is spot on and was set up perfectly from the get go. I have played many Martin's and Taylor's and a few Gibson's and I will say that this little guitar is on par, actually better, because the price is a fraction of the cost! Good guitar for recording. The sound hole pickup works well. This the first sound hole pick up in a guitar that I have owned and is a completely different animal. The last 3 times I went to Guitar center I picked this up and the 3rd time it followed me home. As you get older, and your belly gets bigger a smaller guitar fits better.OldFartDave

I got this as a backup for my 1980 Guild D-25 warhorse that needs a new under-the-saddle pickup. It handles pretty much the same as my old guitar, but lacks the unamplified projection/ volume of the old girl. But I do like the looks, sound and feel of this new instrument, and am looking forward to it improving with age like the old D-25. I have had many acoustic over the years, my last was Taylor but wasn't thrilled with it so I sold it 4 months after I bought it. I went into ASH and was all ready to buy an epiphone masterbilt when my sales guy Steven Sagel (yes, his real name)said, can I show you another guitar? The minute I put the GUILD D120ce in my hand and played one chord, I said Ill take this! Despite the neck being described as a slim c it is thicker than my Taylor, Yamaha and fender. It's a little difficult to wrap my hand around but I am a woman. A man probably won't have that problem. I bought it to be a beater, something lightweight I can take around with me that I don't care about getting damaged. I actually wish I got the Taylor GS now because the neck will probably be what I am used to but I already have two Taylor's and wanted a different guitar, I like having different brands. The pick guard looks surprisingly cheap in person. Idk maybe other people like that look. I like a tortoise shell pick guard but this guild one just looks kinda faded out or something and the tortoise colors aren't blended well. It doesn't come with a gig bag anymore I guess, some people got one, maybe that is in other countries outside the US idk. The sound is what you would expect from a small guitar. The action is ok, a tad bit high which I might get lowered in the future. Doesn't bother me actually. The guitar is VERY lightweight.Jayjay L
I've been playing a recording king dirty 30s OOO for three years, and this is a whole new galaxy of guitar quality. Fit, finish, and setup are all great for the price range. The neck profile is very comfy if you like chunkier necks (I do). The satin finish is fast but not slick and sweaty feeling. Good balanced sound at the low end of the fretboard, a little weaker at the high end, but not enough to bother me. It's very responsive to attack: it sounds great with bare fingers but doesn't get muddy or brassy when I bang on it with a pick. The pickup is exactly what I was hoping for: good sound reproduction, no frills no fuss. It's not my dad's vintage J-45 or even his GS-mini, but it holds its own.
The extra time at home during the pandemic has found me exploring short scale guitars and working on my finger-picking. I've acquired a Martin 000 Jr, and an all-mahogany Martin Dreadnought Jr. When I came across Guild's Jumbo Jr., I said, well, of course. How could I not? I thought a maple guitar would be a good addition to the Junior arsenal, and I wasn't disappointed. These Jumbo Juniors are beautiful, well made little instruments, fit and finish are superb. Mine has a couple bear claw inclusions on a very nicely book-matched solid Sitka spruce top, figured maple sides, and a bookmatched arched back of gorgeous, flamey, figured maple. The back and sides are laminates, but are very well chosen for their figuring. I thought the factory 13s were a bit too stiff, and the action a smidge high, so I had some nut and saddle work done, put a set of Martin Flexible Core 12s on, and just love this thing now. I think the factory idea behind the heavier strings is two-fold; to tighten up string tension that's inherently light due to the scale length, and to give it more low end. I think they just made it difficult to play. I haven't noticed any difference in tone switching to 12s, and the flexible core Martin strings have lighter string tension, enhancing playability. Given it's size, and that maple as a tone wood is on the bright side, you're not going to get a booming low end from this guitar – you might be better served in that regard by one of the mahogany bodied versions, but that's not what I was looking for. This guitar does have a fairly full and well balanced sound, nicely articulate with sparkling upper end resonance and great sustain. It plays well with the Martin Juniors, and has plenty of projection to keep up with the full-size boys, too. Great guitar!Rex K.

First and foremost this guitar is beautiful to look at and play. The sound is rich, and with a little adjustment to the truss rods the action is excellent. The fit and finish is first class, I have it side by side with my Martin D28 from 1971 and the finish is comparable. Even the case is great, it's light weight, but seems to be as strong as a wood or clam shell case, Maybe the most amazing thing about this purchase was the price from Jet, they killed everyone else by a considerable margin, and threw in a bunch of neat accessories, you can't go wrong.Kimberly M

Overall: I have recently purchased a Guild D-40 Traditonal in Antique Sunburst finish. Although I am not a professional musician, I can tell you that you do not have be to understand how awesome this guitar is. From the first time you lay eyes on it, you know what a fine piece of craftsmanship, including the case it comes in. Its simply beautiful. And then you get to play it! Wow!, the sound is exquisit and playability is incredible. And, man does it boom. Guild isn't joking when they say its "Made to be Played" as I literally cannot put it down, just ask my wife (driving her nuts). This guitar easily competes with any other high end guitar on the market and I also love that it is made in the USA. Simply can't go wrong with this one!
I upgraded to the Guild D-40E after the better part of two decades with a well-made but student-level guitar. Looking for a US-made, all solid wood dreadnought, as I researched it seemed like a good time to consider the Guild USA line and I am glad I did. I could not be happier with this guitar. It has a nice combination of punch and warmth, projection and sustain. Significantly more responsive than my previous acoustic, it is also more forgiving if I am less than perfect in my playing. My practice amp is not doing the guitar's LR Baggs Element pickup justice and will have to be replaced. My playing friends insisted that I get a "real guitar" and now I've got one.Mark

This was my first "new" guitar purchase in over 20 years. I have been an avid purchaser/flipper on the "used" market for a long time – and finally decided that I wanted a slope shoulder dreadnought that would not break my budget. Why? Because they look so darn good and also my right shoulder has been getting worn out over the years trying to wrap around full-sized dreads. Additionally, I prefer laminated backs and sides for their stability and toughness in all weather/humidity/temp conditions – I like to take my guitars on road trips and they often get played in vacation rentals – sometimes on the coast. I ended up choosing the DS-240 Memoir because it ticked all my boxes: it's definitely affordable, has a full and defined sound especially in the tonal mid-range, solid spruce top, laminated 'hog sides, looks absolutely fantastic, and is a joy to play. Most importantly though – for me – when I look at it and pick it up, it inspires me to play – from the flawless vintage sunburst finish, the open gear tuners, to the throwback Guild lettering on the head-stock. I feel something so unmistakably familiar yet at the same time new and exciting. I'd say I finger-pick about 75% of the time and finger-nail strum about 25% of the time. The DS-240 responds well to both and when needed can produce significant volume if you pick-strum. This guitar arrived with a factory height on the bridge and nut. It is definitely very playable right out of the box, intonation was spot on, the frets and neck are very smooth – however, I prefer a very low action. It was easy enough to pull the bridge and sand it down to my preferred height. The tuners adjust smoothly and are snag-free. Guild necks are their own thing – it's about right in-between as far as thickness is concerned and very playable for my somewhat smaller hand size (7.5" middle finger tip to base of palm). I am incredibly happy with my new Guild DS-240 Memoir. It was definitely worth the wait.Jodythebaker
Overall: There is a lot to recommend for this guitar. It's eminently playable, looks great with it's 20s and 30s vibe, and a dark, brooding vintage sunburst top. From folk, blues, rock, bluegrass, new age(?), I think Robert Johnson, Jimmie Rodgers, or Muddy Waters could find themselves sitting down and kicking back old style. This guitar has the aura of being a time machine. It arrived with only a slightly high action. I remedied it with miniscule tweaks to the truss rod. It sounds and feels as good as any guitar I 've owned. Craftmanship, build, every detail was perfect out of the overpackaged box it arrived in. I like this guitar alot. It's bold blusterous voice can softly be tamed with delicate nuanced fine picking. Unless you can lay down long green for a USA model this is an excellent starting point with Guild.Louis
Bought it based on reviews online. Nice neck, smooth and easy to play, full sound as dread should be and set up was good when it arrived. I did lower the action a little and added new strings, but all to meet my needs, as it was fine out of the box. A good guitar at any price, the sound is clean, the frets are fine, the intonation out of the box was correct. Highly recommend the guitar to any user new or experienced.charlie
