Have zero issues with this at my house, but other places power supply does not seems to work properly leaving me without a board. I only have 3 pedals connected. This is cause for concern especially if I'm at a gig. May have to re-think this for live playing.

I got this for a replacement of my Chemistry Design Werks pedal board, which never really served my purposes and was difficult to organize the pedals do to the holes and zipties. The Pedaltrain board everyone always considers the industry standard, was three times the price and I didnt like the spacing of the rails (smaller pedals kind of fall through the cracks, so to speak. This board had more surface area to velcro the pedals to and the ability to use it at table height with a keyboard stand. If I want to put it on the floor there are kick out legs to raise it to the appropriate angle. Nice soft case if it needs to be transported. Recommended to anyone looking for a large board for 10-15 pedals, or anyone that prefers their pedals up where you can turn the knobs.Jeffrey

This is a great board. Very sturdy. Light weight. Easy to setup. The two layers are great for stacking pedals to condense space. Provided Velcro is very strong. Sliding shelves are easily adjustable. Nice travel case. My power supply fits perfectly under the top shelf in the back. Space is limited so check your power supply dimensions. At first I had trouble getting all the pedals on the board that I wanted. After changing my patch cable to low profile I was able to squeeze 4 standard Boss pedals, an EH Q-Tron(the big one), EH Cock Fight (expression pedal doesn't fit – off to the side), and a Ditto X4 Looper. It's is a bit more than normal people use, so your stuff should fit just fine. Hope they come out with a longer one. All that and it has big style. I'm sure you will dig this in your rig as much as you look good having it in front of you. I was sold when I watched the video. That dude is hella cool. I was looking for a compact board for just a few pedals. I was looking at the Pedaltrain Nano and the MONO Lite because I wanted something that could fit in my MONO Guitar Tick. As much as I like Pedaltrain boards, their bags are junk and nice padded bags can cost as much as the board they carry. While the Dingbat Small is a bit bigger than the PT Nano, it came with what appeared to be (and is) a nice padded soft case at a price equivalent to the MONO Lite Plus without the case. Construction is very similar to the MONO: a bent aluminum sheet with holes for routing cables. One nice feature of the Dingbat is that it is built to accommodate a wide range of Voodoo Lab power supplies. Since I happened to have a VL 4×4 on hand, that was both convenient and cost-saving for me. Since I've made such a big deal of how a padded bag is included, I'll talk a little about it. It's form-fitting but has a good bit of extra space so you can stash extra goodies on top of or beneath the board when it's in the bag. With that extra space, it has velcro straps that help keep the board from shifting while in the case. Padding is quite good. It's no flight case but it'll help protect your board when thrown in the back of a car. The outer covering isn't quite as indestructible as on my MONO cases but I expect it to hold up for some time. Voodoo Lab does sell replacement cases so if I wear this one out, at least I can get another.Alec

I am happy with both brands. The boards are well-made, sturdy and provide practical solutions for using multiple pedals. There is one major difference (in my opinion) that distinguishes them. Pedaltrain boards have slots that span the entire length of the board making it very easy to set up your cables. However, this design sometimes makes it a little more challenging securing certain pedals with velcro because there may be less surface area. On the other hand, the Voodoo Lab Dingbat has much smaller slots for setting up your cables. I found this to be a bit more challenging because many of the holes are covered up by your pedals (especially larger pedals), so I had to be more creative in figuring out where my cables should go. However, this was certainly not a "deal killer." It just required a little more thought. Also, the Dingbat has more surface area so my smaller pedals are generally more secure. Both brands offer good soft cases. But I like the fact that the Dingbat case has internal straps that provide more secure packaging for traveling with your rig. Bought this board to replace a Behringer 6 pedal board so I could put up to ten pedals in this one. The engineering on this board is great. It has much more usuable space than the Behringer and is the same width and only a few inches deeper. The shell has a very low profile making it much easier to access your pedals without having to raise you leg much higher as I did with the other board. The foam floor covers the plastic shell floor which has recessed tracks to run your daisy chain across the board underneath the foam and if you need more than the precut openings, it is easy to do so. The floor shell has rubber non scid feet which keeps it from sliding like my other board did. This also protects my hardwood floor when I practice. The top is about 3" deep and lined with egg shell foam and snaps on & off easily with heavy duty slide latches. When closed, all pedals are held firmly in place in their cutout slots. I highly recommend this board.
Without going into too much detail, this version improves many aspects of the BCB-60 that I also had, it increased the amount of space it offers with the practicality of having a power source, I honestly love it, the only con I find is that the high-density foam It is not found to buy anywhere contrary to what the manual says, apart from that, spectacularFheder

Essendo a \2 piani\ l\'alimentatore può essere velcrato sotto quello in alto sfruttando appieno tutte le uscite contro altre pedalboard che causa elastici di sostegno si è costretti a sacrificare qualche uscita. Borsa robusta con chiusure efficienti, la tasca frontale completa la pedaliera permettendo di inserire cavi e accessori che magari graffierebbero i pedali, ottimi anche i ganci da applicare per il passaggio dei cavi… Magari potevano metterne 5 o 6 al posto dei 2 forniti.
Overall: First, be aware that you are getting the smaller version of this pedalboard (the M model #) for the $99.99 price point. I misunderstood and though the board came in a kit with both the L and M side panels to customize the board yourself. I was wrong, it came with the M board and it was pre-assembled. It's a sturdy board that looks good and has a well thought out design. My Walrus Aetos power supply barely fits under the rear panel, but it works. It comes with everything you need to attached your pedals and the carrying case seems to be good quality. I have no idea why the others cost so much more relative to what you get here. Solid and stable. The slats are adjustable, allowing for a variety of set up possibilities. Using the second, back level for pedals also allows you to easily put your power supply, always-on pedals (like a buffer) under that section. The sides are also designed so many power supplies and cables can be routed out thru the sides – a feature a lot of boards lack. The carry bag is excellent quality and it even comes with spare bolts, wire management clips and 3M Dual Lock tape. Either size of this pedal board is a great value.Rob

I was looking for a compact board for just a few pedals. I was looking at the Pedaltrain Nano and the MONO Lite because I wanted something that could fit in my MONO Guitar Tick. As much as I like Pedaltrain boards, their bags are junk and nice padded bags can cost as much as the board they carry. While the Dingbat Small is a bit bigger than the PT Nano, it came with what appeared to be (and is) a nice padded soft case at a price equivalent to the MONO Lite Plus without the case. Construction is very similar to the MONO: a bent aluminum sheet with holes for routing cables. One nice feature of the Dingbat is that it is built to accommodate a wide range of Voodoo Lab power supplies. Since I happened to have a VL 4×4 on hand, that was both convenient and cost-saving for me. Since I've made such a big deal of how a padded bag is included, I'll talk a little about it. It's form-fitting but has a good bit of extra space so you can stash extra goodies on top of or beneath the board when it's in the bag. With that extra space, it has velcro straps that help keep the board from shifting while in the case. Padding is quite good. It's no flight case but it'll help protect your board when thrown in the back of a car. The outer covering isn't quite as indestructible as on my MONO cases but I expect it to hold up for some time. Pedaltrain boards have slots that span the entire length of the board making it very easy to set up your cables. However, this design sometimes makes it a little more challenging securing certain pedals with velcro because there may be less surface area. On the other hand, the Voodoo Lab Dingbat has much smaller slots for setting up your cables. I found this to be a bit more challenging because many of the holes are covered up by your pedals (especially larger pedals), so I had to be more creative in figuring out where my cables should go. However, this was certainly not a "deal killer." It just required a little more thought. Also, the Dingbat has more surface area so my smaller pedals are generally more secure. Both brands offer good soft cases. But I like the fact that the Dingbat case has internal straps that provide more secure packaging for traveling with your rig. The magic number is 8 pedals. 5 across the bottom, 3 on top sideways. If you do 5 right side up on top, you're likely over the edge on both rows. Also, keep in mind in mind where your inputs and power jacks are on your pedals. The holes are place in a convenient mid section and top side which helps keep things neatly tucked under. I bought this pedal board as an alternative to Gator's aluminum pedal boards to piece together a basic board for my acoustic guitar effects and preamp. I chose this over the Gator offerings (which I also own, both the small and large size for my bass and guitar boards, respectively) because 1) the attractive price and 2) it's exactly the size I needed for my pedals. I gave the board four stars instead of five primarily because I have experience with the similar and slightly more upscale Gator boards. The carrying bag is identical in configuration to the Gator bags, but it feels a little flimsier. That's not to say that it isn't perfectly functional and able to survive the relatively gentle treatment I will give it. This board also does not have the power supply mounting bracket the Gator boards have, but that does not bother me in this instance because I am using a simple daisy chain. That said, it has enough room to mount one under it if you don't mind doing some drilling. For the positives, it's a solid, sturdy, lightweight board and the cable routing holes are practically placed for my needs. I mounted my pedals with both Velrco and zip ties (it sounds overkill, but in my experience necessary) and the holes also work well for that. It came with an ample supply of Velcro, too. This little case holds 5 mini-pedals which will get you through most gigs, rehearsals and open jams. It also has a power connection for each pedal with single point for the power source. It is well made and the pedals are snugly fitted/protected. Super convenient and useful.jcebv04
The pedal board is a great idea and works well with the stomp boxes that are built to fit. The down side is that PE has taken it on themselves to try to a make a few extra bucks and sell the power supply that is suppose to be included in the price separately. If you go Also you can only purchase the box through Parts Express which leads me to believe they are also the manufacturers. Is there no end to greed for big business?? I got this reply to a similar post from a PE "customer". Justin replied: "Had the same issue but PE sent a power supply to make it right. I was the first in the pool with this and they corrected the typo. Excellent support as always" I called PE Customer Service after getting this and they blew me off!RICHARD

Overall: Very happy with this purchase. I don’t use a ton of pedals so the 4+4 power supply shouldnbe plenty. Smells of quality and built to last. Plenty of space for MXR wah, Fender Marine Reverb, Radial ABY, Boss Tuner and Supro Tremolo footswitch. Will add an Overdrive Boost and a Leslie pedal. Good documentation, leads and Velcro. Bag is very hardy. Terrific value package IMHO. Haven’t needed to use support but email warranty followup indicates Voodoo Labs wants to do right by its customers.Matthew
I was looking for a compact board for just a few pedals. I was looking at the Pedaltrain Nano and the MONO Lite because I wanted something that could fit in my MONO Guitar Tick. As much as I like Pedaltrain boards, their bags are junk and nice padded bags can cost as much as the board they carry. While the Dingbat Small is a bit bigger than the PT Nano, it came with what appeared to be (and is) a nice padded soft case at a price equivalent to the MONO Lite Plus without the case. Construction is very similar to the MONO: a bent aluminum sheet with holes for routing cables. One nice feature of the Dingbat is that it is built to accommodate a wide range of Voodoo Lab power supplies. Since I happened to have a VL 4×4 on hand, that was both convenient and cost-saving for me. Since I've made such a big deal of how a padded bag is included, I'll talk a little about it. It's form-fitting but has a good bit of extra space so you can stash extra goodies on top of or beneath the board when it's in the bag. With that extra space, it has velcro straps that help keep the board from shifting while in the case. Padding is quite good. It's no flight case but it'll help protect your board when thrown in the back of a car. The outer covering isn't quite as indestructible as on my MONO cases but I expect it to hold up for some time. Voodoo Lab does sell replacement cases so if I wear this one out, at least I can get another.Alec
Just finished setting up my Dingbat Large pedalboard and overall, I am satisfied with the product. I own a couple of Pedaltrain boards as well, so I was able to compare them to the Dingbat. I am happy with both brands. The boards are well-made, sturdy and provide practical solutions for using multiple pedals. There is one major difference (in my opinion) that distinguishes them. Pedaltrain boards have slots that span the entire length of the board making it very easy to set up your cables. However, this design sometimes makes it a little more challenging securing certain pedals with velcro because there may be less surface area. On the other hand, the Voodoo Lab Dingbat has much smaller slots for setting up your cables. I found this to be a bit more challenging because many of the holes are covered up by your pedals (especially larger pedals), so I had to be more creative in figuring out where my cables should go. However, this was certainly not a "deal killer." It just required a little more thought. Also, the Dingbat has more surface area so my smaller pedals are generally more secure. Both brands offer good soft cases. But I like the fact that the Dingbat case has internal straps that provide more secure packaging for traveling with your rig. I'm happy with both brands and recommend both.Breukelenman
