Product Details:

Reviews:
They don't make like they use to not happy w/the workmanship & there is no pad for the back of guitar to rest on. they once made a v shape piece of bar w/foam on it to secure any guitar SG to LP's Strats Bass Acoustics would fit securely , Not so w/these stands the bent bar used is crooked bent & sit too high up off the ground. I miss the old A frame stands by "Ultra" they were all the same now I'm not so sure about the cheaper mic stands if they allow this to pass thru QC. Some Guitar's I would NOT place on these stands other yes. So I gotta keep my good stands away from these.Watchman
I have two. I already had the On-Stage Stands GS7462B Professional A-FRAME Stand and it works great. The A-Frame Acoustic Guitar Stand works just as well and and it has the bonus of having an adjustable width not to mention it's half the price. It's just as stable as the On Stage A-Frame. It is designed for an acoustic guitar and I use it for my Taylor 714 but my Tele sits in it just fine. So now I have three so just one sits in the car taking up little room and reducing my schlep for gigs. Of course it's an A-Frame so you can't be bumping into it, but it's better than leaning my guitar against an amp on breaks.FunkenFire
I use this guitar stand for my yamaha pacifica 112V. At first I was reluctant in purchasing this item because of the price and the simplicity of the stand. Upon receiving this item It was folded and compact. All I had to do was pull on the sides and the stand would open. To my surprise this is a very sturdy stand even without the neck support. After owning this stand for a few weeks I'd say this is the best stand I have owned. However I read that the stand would damage Nitrocellulose guitar finishes, so if you have a guitar that has one I'd go with something more suitable for that.NibiruRising

Reviews:
I like this stand more than the regular floor stand because this does not put any pressure on my plugs and cords. The bottom of the guitar doesn't touch the stand. The large footprint adds stability, which is great, but it takes up a whole bunch of floor space! My only real concern about this stand is how durable the padding on the neck support is; will it last very long? It seems a bit thin, and moves around when I place my bass in it. The support itself is sturdy and will hold the instrument with no problems. Overall, I am happy with this stand and will be using it as my primary since I do have the space for it.Craig O.
I picked these up from a DotD specifically for a Fender Meteora style guitar, which won't sit so nicely in regular stands due to its shape. I also wanted a good yoke, as a few of my super cheap stands had hard, protruding bits that left small dents in one of my guitar necks. This satisfied both needs. That said, you're likely weighing between a Hercules and this Fender stand. I'd say spend a little more and pick up the Hercs on a DotD. I picked a pair of Hercs up on a later DotD, and the clutch is much, much better on the Herc than the Fender's simple lever. The Herc has indentations in the support that allows the clutch to lock. The Fender is fine for lighter guitars, but can loosen up and drop if too much downward force is put on the yoke support. I had this happen once so far, and have moved my heavier guitars to the Hercs. I would not recommend this for a heavy bass guitar. All of that said! It's a nice stand, and does its job. I don't regret picking it up.Diffracted
I have similar stands from another company which are a slightly different design. The other stands are slightly more compact, since the yoke folds over the top of stand and lays flat against the rise shaft. That is the ONLY thing better about the other stands. The other stands were more expensive, have just as much plastic in the manufacturing, and were less stable due the fold-down locking leg design. Worst of all the other stands have the awful "locking" yoke, which folds tabs down on either side of the neck/headstock joint, at least until they break (which one of mine has). I don't understand the need for this locking yoke device. If the stand gets knocked hard enough to tip, as soon as the body of the guitar hits the floor, the yoke is going to release anyway and the guitar is going to fall out of it, right? Maybe I'm not seeing the purpose of that yoke, but it just seems like another point of failure to me. These Fender stands were an incredible bargain on the SDOTD. I wish I could fold them a little smaller for transport, but that would probably undermine the great stability they have, so I'll accept the very slight lack of portability in favor of the security and confidence they give. The yoke is stationary, welded to the rise shaft. It's slightly narrow, so I have to start the guitar into the yoke at an angle, then rotate it into position. This just adds to the stability, so no big deal once you get in the habit. If you try to pull the guitar straight out of the stand, it will pull the stand toward you along with the guitar. Once again, not a big deal if you simply remember to twist-then-pull. The only other issue may be the base mechanism's screw/handle, which holds the legs in the spread position. The screw is threaded through the red plastic piece which holds the legs. Only time will tell if this design will hold up to regular use, and is my only real concern with these stands. Not worthy of a star deduction yet, but we'll see…Steve-O

The stand is portable and easily fits into an equiipment gig bag; this is the main reason I purchased it. I own to others I use on stage, and this one serves as a backup stand as well as one I use when I travel for practice sessions. It provides decent support to guitars and basses, thought it's not as supportive as taller stands can be, especially those that hold the headstock and neck in place.zippystooge
I was successful at bending the padded support arms to fit a tenor ukulele. Not a perfect solution, but for casual use this foldable stand is light and easily transportable. There is virtually nothing that can be manually adjusted to fit, unless you are willing to take a little risk by physically deforming the original configuration. There is no case, and as such it is not a good candidate to travel in anything but an equipment bag or box. So far, the construction of the stand is in line with what I thought I was getting for my money. I can make it work, but time will tell if it will hold up.Wiley
Like the title indicates, I have been using these stands for 24 years. My recent purchase was to replace one that finally failed (the screw stripped). I am a solo musician, I play 3 and 4 hour gigs almost every day during the tourist season. I main instrument is a Fender Stratocaster but I have Acoustic guitars and use the acoustic stands as well. I have also placed my bass guitars on the electric guitar stand as well. I love that I can put the stand in the guitar case. I see many of my fellow entertainers carry these bulky, awkward stands that have to be carried separately. I highly recommend this product to any performer that needs to carry equipment to every gig.JT

7. Musician's Gear A-Frame Stand For Acoustic, Electric, And Bass Guitars (2 Pack) Black
Product Details:
These a-frame acoustic guitar stands are ideal for home studio work when you have to put your guitar down often. the guitar stand boasts rugged square-tube construction and holds your instrument securely.
Reviews:
Overall, these are great little stands. The issues I have with them are minor but you should be aware of them. First, the way the stands are made doesn't let them sit well on uneven surfaces.I use mine primarily in the studio so this hasn't been an issue with me yet, I have plenty of tripod guitar stands just in case. My other issue is with the hard rubber covering where the legs pivot and the back of the guitar rests. Given the chance I think this could leave marks on the guitar finish. The neck plate on my electric guitars rests on the stand so it's no a problem with them, but my Ibanez bass doesn't have a metal plate and of course my acoustic guitars don't as well. The problem is easily solved by putting a small towel over the top of the stand. This actually is a handy place to put the towel I use to wipe down the strings before I put the guitar down.Dj Phil
I've been playing at my and my friends' homes for years, and I've always just set the guitar down. I finally got this and made a place for it in the corner. But I would still set the guitar down by where I was playing. Then — DUH — I simply brought the stand with the guitar! I play in the chair, it's next to me. I play on the couch, it's next to me. I stand up and record, it's next to me. And when I'm done, I put the guitar and stand in the corner. I should have had one of these years ago! I've never performed with a guitar stand, and I've never recorded professionally, but I would not see any problems with this stand.Someday Guitarist
Adam's purchase of a "Musician's Gear A-frame Stand for Acoustic, Electric, and Bass Guitars" … it's rare but, I have few words for a review of this item … at a price of only $12.99 or less with holiday promo or RedCard discounts and free shipping, I do not have any complaints … unfortunately the guitar stand requires replacement cushions, what appears to be rubberized foam tubing, flattens under the weight of a guitar within only weeks, as many products did the same for decades … it's a shame but, I still love it … intend to spend a few dollars at the local hardware store for correctly sized and more durable tubing … probably chat with Target.com and email Music123, partner sellers … there could be improved replacement parts available … you never know? After playing guitars for 25 years, I have matured and appreciate a great deal and disappointments happen everyday. Thanks Target! AdamAdam of New York
8. Musician's Gear Deluxe A-Frame Electric Guitar And Bass Stand Black
Product Details:
Rugged square-tube construction. adjustable neck support. super stable design. color: black. gender: male. age group: 12 up.
Reviews:
As noted in other reviews, bottom curved part hits against bottom knob, and tends to turn it slightly, when inserting or removing the guitar, if it has more than 3 pots/knobs. Care must be exercised when putting a guitar into the stand and when removing it from the stand. The stand is not practical for acoustic guitars. I have less expensive stands that are easier to use, don't conflict with knobs, and accommodate all my guitars, both acoustic and electric. This stand has a relatively small footprint, and will hold an electric guitar securely for display purposes, but I would not recommend it to anyone who wants to pick up the guitar, or put it on the stand, quickly and easily.Bass Pretender
Bought this item for the purpose of modifying and marrying to a small speaker stand. The purpose of this was to manufacture a bass guitar stand that would hold my bass in an upright position for easier left hand positioning because of carpal tunnel problems, also to remove the weight of the bass from my shoulder due to lumbar spinal stenosis. Worked great as you can see from photo.visualword
I used the products to display my guitars. I have acoustic/electrics and they are a bit thicker than I had hoped and hardly fit the stands. I made it work. The twelve-strings didn't work at all. The stands are sturdy and don't tip or fall over when lifting out or putting back in. It was my fault I misunderstood the reading what they were for.Cheryl

I have this close to my desk with my favorite assortment of guitars handsomely displayed and ready for action. The top acts as a shelve for picks, toner, capo etc…Wayne
Great solution to keep your guitars around, and easy to reach, and still safe. the guitar body is well protected, and help in place, and leather strap prevents them from falling. the case is a bit bulky, and can fit 2 dreadnoughts along with a solid body. plenty of room inside the case also for your accessory's, like straps and cases. Case looks nice, imo, but is a bit flashy.
TL/DR: 10/10 would recommend, even at the higher price point compared to other case stands. Best case stand because it also looks great on its own VS basic racks. This tweed guitar rack/display stand from Fender is exactly what I was looking for to store a few electrics in my new home studio. The tweed shell with red crushed interior looks great and more era-correct (than typical black metal racks) for my 50's Custom Shop Jazzmaster & Nocaster, along with an R8 Les Paul. I have wanted a floor rack, versus wall hangers like I've used in the past, and this case rack definitely makes the room look professional and a little bit nicer than the typical floor stands you usually see. I also love that it's an actual Fender branded case and the tweed & crushed red interior exactly matches my Fender guitar cases. The floor of the case has movable foam-core & crushed wrapped spacers. They are not secured to the floor of the case by any type of velcro, so you can move them around to fid the bottom width of your guitar. I am only using this case for electrics, but you could easily store an acoustic, but understand you will not be able to fit 5 (or 7 depending on the model case you buy) electrics IF you are also storing an acoustic. If you are looking for a sturdy, attractive and Fender branded display for your nicest guitars, this should be at the top of your list. Since I own a few Fender & Gibson Custom Shop guitars, I wanted a really nice case display for them, and having a Fender branded tweed case, for me, was a no brainer. I am also looking at the black Tolex version for my 60's guitars, as this keeps them era-correct and really finishes up the look of a studio.LG

I ordered 2 of these on a Sunday afternoon and they arrived safely on Monday lunchtime! Great service, and the product itself is 2nd to none. Solid, reliable, cost effective, looks good, feels good… a premium item. The upgraded parts are far superior to the old model. Ill never trust another brand with my prize instruments! Thanks PMT.Bill C.
I’m using it for a very long and heavy bass. Was a bit difficult to adjust for height when first setting up as I had the bass in one hand with nowhere convenient to put it whilst sliding the stand into the correct height. Don’t adjust it whilst the instrument is sitting in the yoke. Once in action, it’s pretty damn good, with the AGS lock being fast and sure. I’m now thinking of getting more for my other guitars.
I have owned quite a few guitar stands and this one is absolutely the best. It is the sturdiest stand I have ever owned. The auto lock feature is incredible. I now own 2 and will never buy another companies stands. If you are worried because you have a nitrocellulose finish, hopefully this works out for you. As far as I know, Fender and Gibson are the only ones who still use that inferior finish.Travis

Product Details:
Black rat a108 a frame universal guitar stand, quick set-up and break down. lower cradles designed to hold either acoustic or electric guitars & basses. solid construction with high-grade steel and arc-welded joints. soft, rubberized cushioning holds guitar firmly in place without damaging finish. folds flat for easy transport.
Reviews:
Perfect fit for the acoustic guitar shape. Doesn’t have anything to cradle the neck so can slide if knocked.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
A decent quality, good value stand. It collapses down for storage/portability and locks in 3 positions with a spring loaded catch that works well. The back support has an ample sized rubber block so you won't scratch the back of your guitar. This is mounted on the front of a plastic housing that sits over the top of the frame which otherwise is all metal. The arms that cradle the base of your guitar are covered in a spongy material (apparently called 'laquer-safe EVA'). I bought this for my J-style bass which is not symmetrical so it didn't stand straight initially but I found you could bend the arms up or down fairly easily and without seemingly weakening it although you probably wouldn't want to be doing that too regularly. So now it sits (or should that be stands) in place nicely. I'm really happy with it.hoofjaw
Very good stand. Cheap and solid. Does exactly what they say on the box. Nothing more, nothing less.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.

When I practise I like to have my guitar next to me so I can set it down or grab it quickly when I adjust other stuff (online lessons settings or just taking a real). Tried a few other similar product and none of them provide me with a sense that the guitar would be secured, this Fender Amperstand has finally come along as the perfect solution. Stable, well made and well designed.Tat L.
Great little rest for leaning guitar up against. Simple and effective – no more precarious balancing guitar against wall!garry s.
I enjoy writing reviews for cool new ideas that makes musicians life's better or more fun and had to let you guys know about this new spin on an old idea. I got this product for my home studio/office and I had low expectations because the other concepts fell off easily, but not this one. It stays in place really well. It was my birthday and my wife needed an idea and it's affordable and I liked the concept a lot. A custom shop Strat was a solid no. lol. She got this for me and it's been a terrific tool so far. The microsuction works WAY better than I ever thought it could on tolex. It clings really well and you have to peel it off to even get it to come off. Lifting straight up lifts my amp off the floor. YES, the Microsuction s^cks … but in a good way. ;o) I'm really loving the cable and pick holder part. It's super nice to just have picks there and to keep the cable off the floor (and out of the jack) when I'm not playing. I have not taken it to a gig but I can see where it'd work fine there too. I don't use amps at gigs anymore so it won't work for me there; I can't lean my guitar on an Iridium. I like them so much I'm going to get a few more … well, actually, my kids will be getting them for me for Christmas (if I can wait that long). My overall assessment is pretty simple, if I lost this one I'd go right out and get a replacement that day. It's that good and I like it that much.Steve

Reviews:
It’s an awesome stand. But for a acoustic. I use them for my other guitars as well. But….. they lean back soooo much. Like I said. Get it for your acoustic instruments. Great quality hands down. Wasn’t a waste of money at all. They can take abuse.Syntex9
I was using a regular guitar stand, the kind with tripod feet and u-shaped rubber coated supports. But the banjo being heavier than guitar has a forward shifted center of balance that could cause it to easily tip over. So this A frame stand works much better. The banjo leans back more and the stands support arms have hooked ends to keep the instrument from slipping forward. I can also adjust the width of the feet to better fit between the banjo's brackets. Works as I wanted it to and at a fantastic price. I also like that it is foldable and easy to transport to gigs.knitpicker
These are very practical stands, and especially efficient when performing. The two legs that comprise the base are long and large enough to securely support most, if not all, guitars, and the top of the "A" tall enough for the back of the guitar to be supported. This, and the fact there are no encumbrances, makes lifting a guitar out of the stand or placing it back easy. I was originally cautioned about using a stand with a support for the instrument's neck, but in my experience, these extensions were more trouble than they were worth and, if the neck or one's hand caught an edge of the rubber "clip" meant to keep the instrument more securely in place, the whole stand would fall forward. On the double-instrument version, the whole stand fell to the side, carrying an expensive guitar along with it, crashing to the ground (the audience literally held their collective breath until it was obvious the guitar was ok). That's when I switched to the A-frame and have never looked back. This stand has worked well with classical and flattop guitars, a Strat-styled electric and a Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion III, even an authentic 1980's D'Aquisto "Jazz" archtop. My one question that remains unanswered is what, if any, effect or chemical reaction might be caused by the rubber protection when leaving an instrument in a stand over time? These stands are straightforward, strong, easy to pack up and take on the road and, thus far, unquestionably reliable.
