Reviews:
Attractive and seems sturdy so far. Holds my guitars in a nice array that makes me proud of them and keeps them visible and accessible so I always get excited to play. I'm able to fit three electrics, a full sized acoustic, and a mini acoustic all on there at once – barely! The downside: manufacturing defects made it very difficult to assemble. Welding flaws in the tubing made it so the tubes couldn't slide together. I had to use hammer and pliers to whack the tubes together and twist them into position. Ultimately, now that it's built I'm happy with it, but be aware you may need to get creative to put it together.STEVEN
This was a great purchase. After reading reviews of "cheaper" versions of multi-guitar stands I decided to spend the extra $ for the Fender rack. After assembling the rack (< 10 minutes) I easily put five guitars in the available space ( a Les Paul, two Strats, a Dean Acoustic, and a Regal Resonator). It's a close fit but taking 3 extra seconds to pick up or put back a $800 guitar isn't too big of a deal. The rack works as advertised, is super light to carry, folds up when needed, and looks great. The only quibble I have is one small piece of black foam rubber was torn when I got it and I wrapped a piece if black electrical tape around it.Jim
If you have anything more than toy inflatable guitars, this thing will not hold more than two. You'd be lucky with that. The instructions say not to tighten things so much the rack isn't able to fold. But that's a useless direction because you can't possibly tighten things that tight. I tightened everything as tight as possible and put an acoustic and a hollowbody on and it just tilted backwards. If you put this up against a wall, your guitars will end up being supported by the headstock, not the rack. Absolutely horrible product.Brogan T.

Reviews:
I like this stand more than the regular floor stand because this does not put any pressure on my plugs and cords. The bottom of the guitar doesn't touch the stand. The large footprint adds stability, which is great, but it takes up a whole bunch of floor space! My only real concern about this stand is how durable the padding on the neck support is; will it last very long? It seems a bit thin, and moves around when I place my bass in it. The support itself is sturdy and will hold the instrument with no problems. Overall, I am happy with this stand and will be using it as my primary since I do have the space for it.Craig O.
I picked these up from a DotD specifically for a Fender Meteora style guitar, which won't sit so nicely in regular stands due to its shape. I also wanted a good yoke, as a few of my super cheap stands had hard, protruding bits that left small dents in one of my guitar necks. This satisfied both needs. That said, you're likely weighing between a Hercules and this Fender stand. I'd say spend a little more and pick up the Hercs on a DotD. I picked a pair of Hercs up on a later DotD, and the clutch is much, much better on the Herc than the Fender's simple lever. The Herc has indentations in the support that allows the clutch to lock. The Fender is fine for lighter guitars, but can loosen up and drop if too much downward force is put on the yoke support. I had this happen once so far, and have moved my heavier guitars to the Hercs. I would not recommend this for a heavy bass guitar. All of that said! It's a nice stand, and does its job. I don't regret picking it up.Diffracted
I have similar stands from another company which are a slightly different design. The other stands are slightly more compact, since the yoke folds over the top of stand and lays flat against the rise shaft. That is the ONLY thing better about the other stands. The other stands were more expensive, have just as much plastic in the manufacturing, and were less stable due the fold-down locking leg design. Worst of all the other stands have the awful "locking" yoke, which folds tabs down on either side of the neck/headstock joint, at least until they break (which one of mine has). I don't understand the need for this locking yoke device. If the stand gets knocked hard enough to tip, as soon as the body of the guitar hits the floor, the yoke is going to release anyway and the guitar is going to fall out of it, right? Maybe I'm not seeing the purpose of that yoke, but it just seems like another point of failure to me. These Fender stands were an incredible bargain on the SDOTD. I wish I could fold them a little smaller for transport, but that would probably undermine the great stability they have, so I'll accept the very slight lack of portability in favor of the security and confidence they give. The yoke is stationary, welded to the rise shaft. It's slightly narrow, so I have to start the guitar into the yoke at an angle, then rotate it into position. This just adds to the stability, so no big deal once you get in the habit. If you try to pull the guitar straight out of the stand, it will pull the stand toward you along with the guitar. Once again, not a big deal if you simply remember to twist-then-pull. The only other issue may be the base mechanism's screw/handle, which holds the legs in the spread position. The screw is threaded through the red plastic piece which holds the legs. Only time will tell if this design will hold up to regular use, and is my only real concern with these stands. Not worthy of a star deduction yet, but we'll see…Steve-O

Reviews:
Great solution to keep your guitars around, and easy to reach, and still safe. the guitar body is well protected, and help in place, and leather strap prevents them from falling. the case is a bit bulky, and can fit 2 dreadnoughts along with a solid body. plenty of room inside the case also for your accessory's, like straps and cases. Case looks nice, imo, but is a bit flashy.
TL/DR: 10/10 would recommend, even at the higher price point compared to other case stands. Best case stand because it also looks great on its own VS basic racks. This tweed guitar rack/display stand from Fender is exactly what I was looking for to store a few electrics in my new home studio. The tweed shell with red crushed interior looks great and more era-correct (than typical black metal racks) for my 50's Custom Shop Jazzmaster & Nocaster, along with an R8 Les Paul. I have wanted a floor rack, versus wall hangers like I've used in the past, and this case rack definitely makes the room look professional and a little bit nicer than the typical floor stands you usually see. I also love that it's an actual Fender branded case and the tweed & crushed red interior exactly matches my Fender guitar cases. The floor of the case has movable foam-core & crushed wrapped spacers. They are not secured to the floor of the case by any type of velcro, so you can move them around to fid the bottom width of your guitar. I am only using this case for electrics, but you could easily store an acoustic, but understand you will not be able to fit 5 (or 7 depending on the model case you buy) electrics IF you are also storing an acoustic. If you are looking for a sturdy, attractive and Fender branded display for your nicest guitars, this should be at the top of your list. Since I own a few Fender & Gibson Custom Shop guitars, I wanted a really nice case display for them, and having a Fender branded tweed case, for me, was a no brainer. I am also looking at the black Tolex version for my 60's guitars, as this keeps them era-correct and really finishes up the look of a studio.LG

The stand is portable and easily fits into an equiipment gig bag; this is the main reason I purchased it. I own to others I use on stage, and this one serves as a backup stand as well as one I use when I travel for practice sessions. It provides decent support to guitars and basses, thought it's not as supportive as taller stands can be, especially those that hold the headstock and neck in place.zippystooge
I was successful at bending the padded support arms to fit a tenor ukulele. Not a perfect solution, but for casual use this foldable stand is light and easily transportable. There is virtually nothing that can be manually adjusted to fit, unless you are willing to take a little risk by physically deforming the original configuration. There is no case, and as such it is not a good candidate to travel in anything but an equipment bag or box. So far, the construction of the stand is in line with what I thought I was getting for my money. I can make it work, but time will tell if it will hold up.Wiley
Like the title indicates, I have been using these stands for 24 years. My recent purchase was to replace one that finally failed (the screw stripped). I am a solo musician, I play 3 and 4 hour gigs almost every day during the tourist season. I main instrument is a Fender Stratocaster but I have Acoustic guitars and use the acoustic stands as well. I have also placed my bass guitars on the electric guitar stand as well. I love that I can put the stand in the guitar case. I see many of my fellow entertainers carry these bulky, awkward stands that have to be carried separately. I highly recommend this product to any performer that needs to carry equipment to every gig.JT

Reviews:
I can only say that it works well with a Fender Jaguar. The quality seems pretty good. Not K&M good, but still. I did notice some scratches here and there on the stand out of the box, but nothing too crazy. Besides, it doesn't have to look pretty. It just has to work. And the stability is great.
If you own a BC Rich guitar or bass, or a flying V or other guitar or bass with an oddly-shaped body, you need this stand for gigging and/or breaks during rehearsals. I'd like to address the criticisms of this stand that I've read in other reviews: first, yes, it would be more convenient for setup purposes if the support arms were designed to slide up and down and lock in place with setscrews. On the other hand, the remove-and-reinsert design Fender has employed here means that, once you get this stand set up, THE SUPPORTS CAN'T SLIP OUT OF ALIGNMENT. That's a net plus, in my book, and properly setting the stand up really doesn't take that long in my experience. Secondly, it's true that this stand is not as stable as I'd like it to be. That's principally because the unit's stance is too narrow. If the legs opened wider than they do, it would be at least as solid as any other body-support-style stand. So that's an issue. However, the complaint about it not being stable enough for a bass guitar is off-base. The solution is to LOWER THE BOTTOM-MOST SUPPORT ARM to the lowest hole in the leg on that side, rather than to leave it in place at the third or fourth hole up. It's a pretty simple issue of geometry and physics: the lower the center of gravity, the more stable your instrument will be. If you're foolish enough to leave the lowest support arm in its default position, OF COURSE it won't be stable enough to reliably support a bass guitar. Heck, I wouldn't trust it to support my Mockingbird without that mod. Finally, the little support arm is kind of useful to provide additional lateral stability for your instrument's upper body. Not REAL useful, but still … I'm happy with mine.

This is a beautiful stand and assembly was a breeze. I have a variety of different guitars acoustic, hard body electric, and hollow body electric. The only problem with this stand is the guitars seem to fall forward so I'm going to add a leather strap on the neck rest blocks. I just ordered all the parts I need to make the straps. I have very high end guitars and don't want the guitars to fall forward hitting the other guitars.Alphonse

The guardian holds 5 guitars securely, saves space and allows you an easy overview of your guitars. no matter whether you have acoustic, electrical or bass guitars, the special instrument-compatible supports protectively hold max. 5 guitars. the protective bars stop the guitars from rotating and prevent inadvertent removal or knocks or bumps when taking the guitars from the stand or placing them. the soft pads made of high quality thermoplastic elastomer have cushioning characteristics. therefore they protectively take the weight of the guitar and avoid damages of the instrument. the innovative folding mechanism used on the guardian allows the stand to be carried easily and it can be left standing upright. highly flexible, sub-divided support arms with integrated pick holders mean the guitar can be held from either side (right or left) and that the strings are untouched. the structural design allows the guardian to be positioned against a wall. the guardian is available entirely in black or with translucent (colorless) elements made of high quality elastomer plastic, which are suitable for all kind of guitar lacquers, including nitro lacquer. discoloration from the stand to the guitar does not occur.
Reviews:
Admittedly, this is a rather expensive guitar stand. I've tried the type that have the parallel bars wrapped in foam rubber insulation. The problem with them is the foam compresses and, eventually, there's barely any protection between the guitar and crossbars. This is especially worrisome when the bars are square rather than round. Replacing the foam requires a trip to a large hardware store and disassembly of the stand. They also generally don't keep the bodies from banging into each other. I then went with a large QuikLok stand that holds 7 guitars. Not having any acoustic guitars, that stand was not very space efficient for my needs. It did come with locking casters which was nice. I bought this one because it is smaller in width and depth and perfectly fits on top on my dresser (yes, space is at a premium in my tiny NYC apt). The cradles are very protective of both the necks and the bodies. I just bought a 2nd one of these that I'll put on casters so I can wheel it into the living room when needed. I probably would not recommend this type for stage use but it's perfect for home and studio.ShortScale
…right out of the box. Went from box to stage in less than a minute. Stable, solid, plenty of traction when the basses are seated. One note: If you have front-loading/top-loading jacks and use a straight input you will need to watch how you seat and remove your basses. My wireless has straight and right angle, I leave a space if using a straight into a front-loader.
I've looked at other guitars stands and this is the best one available. What's great about it is that it locks into place and stays put. It can easily fall down also. When you spend as much money on your guitars as I do for mine, you want the best thing to protect them from damage.Bernard

Seriously easy to use and really stable. It doesn’t quite sit against the wall or your machine heads touch the wall. With a typical acoustic the outer edge of the guitar is 25” from the wall. With a bass it could be more – it’s the head clearance! Even so, it takes a lot less space than individual stands. It’s also good at keeping your guitars from clonking against each other once they’re sat in place. As with any rack, care is needed when lifting a guitar into or out of position. It says room for five Guitars. That’s true but it forgets to say there’s loads of room left. Even with five acoustics I reckon I could squeeze in a couple or three electric ones. Thankfully there are kits to fit more neck holders & foam stops. Go on, you need one to justify your next axe 😜Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
The Hercules guitar rack is a well designed and solid piece of equipment. I have owned several racks in the past that were flimsy, warped, and just plain unreliable to trust with my beloved guitars. When it comes to purchasing a guitar rack, the age-old saying of "you get what you pay for" certainly comes into play. The Hercules stands are a bit more pricey, but I believed to be worth every bit of the price. The main thing is that it is solid. There is very little wobble even when loaded with heavy electric guitars. Even though I will not be using it for acoustic guitars, I put 5 of my acoustic guitars on it just to see if it would accommodate them, and of course, it did. The rack comes pre-assembled, and you simply have to unfold it. The rack is also fully adjustable so you can tweak it to maximize the efficiency of how it holds your guitars. The padding is sufficient to protect both the body and neck of your guitars. While I cannot speak of its longevity, I feel confident in saying that it will be around a long time. I own several single Hercules guitar stands, and they have lasted a long time. All in all, I believe the Hercules guitar stand does Homage to the legendary hero it's named after.Profdave
Not the worlds most exciting purchase but there are a few things i appreciate about buying this. Firstly, zero installation, you literally just fold it open. And second I like all my guitars being out. I used to just have my acoustic out and the rest were in cases/gig bags ready to take out for gigs or rehearsals. As gigs and rehearsals dried up I didn’t play anything but my acoustic… for years, now I’ve got the stand I’m playing more guitars, more often. There’s that and I just like the look of it, I like a room with five guitars in it. I reckon I’ll most likely end playing two of these guitars regularly once the novelty has worn off but they’ll always look good. Id rather have wall mounted but the walls in the room I’m using are rubbish, so this stand is a great solution.Reviewed by guitarguitar custome

Reviews:
I ordered one, liked it so much, I ordered two more. For my needs this worked perfectly for my classical, as well as my 12-string and 6-striing acoustic guitars. I like the weight and the balance of this stand. The padding that touches the instrument surface, I feel, is quite adequate. Had also hoped to "kill two birds" by using one as a tabletop music holder; it seems to do the job, in my case only by placing a ruler along either the top front of the stand (behind the book), and possibly other methods I haven't tried yet. Am used to standard guitar stands, so if I had small kids or pets of concern I Might be a little more cautious with type of stand, though, as with any free-standing instrument.Pat
Not the best stand I have, but for the low cost, you simply can't beat it. The build quality is excellent, and the welds (a common quality concern) are exceptional on this product. I've used this for stage and home use, and it's very solid. In fact it's sturdy enough to hold a five and four string jazz bass at the same time. This makes for an incredibly small footprint on small stages or tight rehearsal spaces. It folds for storage, with the only issue being the arms that hold the guitars don't fold, or cannot be taken off for even a smaller load. Regardless, this stand is such a deal for the price, it's hard to find any flaws. Due to space, this is the only stand I'm using at my home right now, and it's holding a 1400.00 bass. That is reason enough to buy itjamesbaghr

Reviews:
This stand is a sturdy stand but lacks ANY adjustment. I use it with a Fishman Loud Box mini and the amps feet sit right on the rails and the power cord is right at the back support, so it fits a little funny but works. This stand also has a pretty big foot print for a small amp stand. Does the job but nothing worthy of more than 3 stars.djnuckinfuts
Purchased for the Fender Mustang LT50, stand was too small, amp wanted to fall backwards into the rear opening, potentially damaging the speaker cone. Upper arms are not long enough to catch the closing back-plate at the top of the amp. Went with the gator combo amp stand. Solid build on the fender, would work great with an 8 or 10 inch speaker amp. Prefer the gator stand build quality, thats why I gave the Fender stand 4 stars, five star stand are available. If this fits your amp & budget, you wont be disappointed in the Fender small amp stand.ShyFalcon-24715
