Reviews:
What a brilliant guitar and superb value package! I have owned ‘real’ Gibsons over the years and bought this outfit as a birthday gift for my granddaughter who is learning to play. She has had a fender acoustic for a couple of years and now wants her own electric guitar. I chose this outfit as having previously owned one in the past I like Epiphone guitars. Before giving it to her I thought it best to check it over and set it up but there was nothing to do really, after tuning this guitar was perfectly playable right out the box! The feel, balance and weight is very like my Gibson and the sound is superb. The amp is excellent and packs enough punch to put a smile on your face too. She’s delighted with the built in tuner as well as the other essentials included in the outfit. What’s not to like? I can’t find a better value package!W O.
My original review still stands, but I made cosmetic-only upgrades for less than an average couple's meal at a casual restaurant that makes this look much, much more expensive. No tuner, pickup or pot swaps. Replaced black plastic parts with cream, added cream pickguard, replaced chrome tuner knobs with Klausen-style ivory-look knobs. Installed chrome pickup covers. Replaced speed knobs with gold top-hats.Easily done to make this look like a proper Les Paul. I'm happy with the looks for the little extra money spent.Steve
As the song says: "I'm a Sucker for a Cheap Guitar". I own over 30 – some cheap, some not so cheap. This one arrived perfectly set up: low action, no buzzing, no sharp fret edges, easy to play – amazing for a guitar in this price range. Although not great, the pickups even sounded acceptable. It's heavy, which to me means good, though not as heavy as my Gibson. It's OK-looking, but needed something to enhance it – a pickguard. I added one and it looks much better – more expensive. Instead of cutting off part of the guard to accommodate the knob as I've seen some others do, I drilled a hole big enough for the nut on the body underneath the knob to fit through the guard (see photos). Since the guard isn't much thicker than the nut, it allowed the guard to fit flush with the body and the knob to turn without any restriction of motion, and the pickguard is not butchered. It's a very clean look – like it came that way – not modified. So, I am pleased with this instrument, and would recommend it to anyone for any purpose: especially beginners to play or someone like me who just collects cheap guitars to hang on the wall of their studiio.Steve
2. Hercules Gs200b Ez Pack Acoustic / Electric Guitar Stand
Product Details:
Ezpack guitar stand though compact, the gs200b fits both acoustic and electric guitars and its rugged yet lightweight design folds down small enough to stow in your instrument case or backpack. the gs200b is the only stand you need to bring to the gig. quick and easy setup, perfect fit for both acoustic and electric guitars. soft rubber padded on all contacting points provides stable resting of guitars. the compact size and lightweight design allow it to fold down small to put inside gig bags or cases for easy transportation.
Reviews:
This little folding Hercules stand is a great little piece of kit for when you need to travel light. It's surprisingly stable fits easily into a gig bag pocket or even a coat pocket. The clever little push down supports allow you to use it for both solid bodied or acoustic guitars. It works really well for studio or home use. I don't know if I'd put so much faith in it on a busy stage with clumsy or pumped up musos on the rampage but otherwise, it's just fine.6stringnick
A great little stand that I can easily fit into my gig bag thereby helping me to reduce still further the weight load of what I take to gigs. The name of the game for me these days is to travel as light as is possible and practicable and this is a further step in that direction. And it does the job perfectly. As an aside, I bought a Lakland Skyline 44-02 from GUITARGUITAR around 12 months ago. It arrived within 48 hours well protected and packaged and is the best bass I have ever owned by a mile.Reviewed by guitarguitar custome
Value for money and well built guitar stand. Well designed and easy to transport and use. Too many people have their guitars damaged because they have leaned their guitars against tables or chairs, this solves that problem. I have used many types of guitar stands, all with advantages and disadvantages. This stand is one of my favourites, it's biggest strength is portability and cost. It's an inexpensive solution and easy to transport – a winner!nylex2010
3. Musician's Gear Electric, Acoustic And Bass Guitar Stands (2-Pack)
Product Details:
Each made to exacting specs with soft black neoprene rubber tubing to protect your guitar. folds up for easy transport. not for nitrocellulose-finish guitars.
Reviews:
Musician's Gear guitar stand compared to Gear One GS5 stand. I recently purchased a pair of Musician's Gear stands that are made in a similar design to the Gear One GS5 stand. The Musician's Gear stands were on sale 2 for 10 bucks and when I bought the Gear One stand on sale, I believe for a similar but maybe slightly higher price. Can't remember exactly since it was a few months ago. The Gear One is made of larger, thicker, heavier metal and when you pick up both stands, the Gear One is substantially heavier and stronger. Less flex when handled. The Musicians Gear stands are fine for most guitars and the price is great, but if I were going to use one of these for my Peavy T-40 bass which is very heavy, it would be the Gear One. One good point for the Musician's Gear stands is the rubber strap that goes across the neck yoke. The Gear One did not have one. I do not use it often but at least it is there if I should need it. The tripod base on the Musician's Gear is slightly larger, maybe 1/2" longer legs and the neck pole is perhaps 2-3 inches longer. I personally like the Gear One better due to it's more substantial build quality. It is worth the small price difference. However I do not feel I got ripped off by purchasing the Musician's Gear stands. They do what they are supposed to do for a great price.Bobby
These stands are OK for the money, but the picture on the website for these stands did NOT represent what I received when I purchased them online. The GC advertised picture show the cradle attachment as connected/inserted in to a front-mounted connector piece. What I received did not have this feature, but instead a couple of holes in the stand to insert the cradle pin into. A front-mounted connector serves 1, to provide a better angle of stability and clearance, 2. Allows the sliding portion of the stand to adjust all the way to the ground for smaller stringed instruments, and 3. It's simply easier to insert the cradle pin into the front-mounted connector rather than syncing the cradle pin through two holes in the stand. Yes, they smelled bad, kind of toxic. But they didn't break for the brief time I had my guitars in them and I did not notice any damage to the guitar finishes. Needless to say, I returned these and purchased some Ultra 2445 black stands from somewhere else, as these have been reliable for many years. Had the picture on the Guitar Center website accurately represented the product, I never would have purchased these in the first place.Dave
First off: Musicians Friend was awesome about this. The first two-pack of stands had a distinct and nauseating smell of petroleum. (Yeah, I know, there's undoubtedly a large petroleum composition of the foam, but still…..!) Musician's Friend immediately replaced them, even going so far as to send me two individual stands, probably hoping that it would have come from a different job lot and might not smell so bad. This worked, sorta; the replacements were not nearly as stinky (though I can still smell the oily "frangrance"), and I chose to keep them. However, the center of gravity in these stands is higher than in the Open Stage stands I've bought previously, so much so, that my new Bedell acoustic has already tipped over once after being accidentally nudged gently. Fortunately it didn't fall all the way over, but it did bang into my son's guitar. So I won't buy these again, and the two I have will be kept back near the wall, out of the way. For inexpensive stands, I'd recommend you buy Open Stage, not Musician's Gear.Michael D from Tennessee
4. Musician's Gear Electric, Acoustic And Bass Guitar Stand Black
Product Details:
Adjustable guitar stand fits electric, acoustic and bass guitars lightweight and durable steel tubing with soft rubber padding includes rubber security strap and non-slip rubber feet wide, secure tripod base folds down for easy storage strongest, sturdiest tubular folding stand weve seen anywhere! made to exacting specs with soft black neoprene rubber tubing to protect your guitar. folds up for easy transport. not for nitrocellulose-finish guitars.
Reviews:
Bought 2 of these when they were the Stupid Deal of the Day. I figured even if they were a little flimsy, they would do an adequate job of holding three guitars in my studio or living room, or maybe even serve for a gig. I am very disappointed in this product. As stated in other customer reviews, no matter what guitars you put on the stands, the headstocks will touch. There is no simple adjustment you can make to the stand to avoid this. If you have the right sized guitars, you may be able to angle them just so to avoid touching, but this level of thought should not be necessary for such a critical piece of kit. It's clunky, poorly designed, and wobbly: the little rubber arm that prevents your guitar from falling out is, sadly, a necessary precaution when leaving your guitar in the stand. At this price point (yes, I mean cheap), I guess it's meant to be disposable. I recommend spending more and getting a Hercules or something more reliable and worthy of your instruments. This last recommendation should also be applied when considering the purchase of any Musician's Gear product.Chordtone
I purchased one of these previously and it was fine. My second unit had the vertical bar mounted to the base so crooked that would nearly fall over backward when a guitar was placed on it. Customer service was super friendly and helpful and sent me another unit at no cost. Unfortunately the replacement was almost as bad, with the vertical bar now leaning to the left. At this point I just gave up. Some say "you get what you pay for" but I would expect any item sold to at the very least fulfill it's primary function to some degree, but these don't. Again, Musicians Friend has good customer service, but this stand is not usable.Clint
Once setting this up out of the box, an issue was obvious. Apparently when this was constructed and welded/soldered at the factory, the connection of the vertical section to the tripod base was done so crookedly, and leaning to one side. there was no way to correct this as it's either soldered or welded at the bottom section, and I wouldn't trust a guitar on this stand. This was a few bucks cheaper than the Chromecast brand so I thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately even at $10, it was a waste of time needing to process a return/refund. 5. D&a Gigstand Electric Guitar Stand Black
Product Details:
Believe it or not, you can solidly support your electric guitar with a stand that folds down small enough to fit in your pocket believe it or not, you can solidly support your electric guitar with a stand that folds down small enough to fit in your pocket. the d&a gigstand electric guitar stand enhances the safety and security of your instrument while also showing off your guitar properly. the gigstand is lightweight, coming in at about 20 oz., and it folds down in just two steps to slide easily into your pocket or a gig bag. but it's strong enough to display your electric guitar securely, thanks to its lattice ribbing and reinforced joints. plus, the gigstand employs d&a's proprietary grip friction system on the stand's contact points — soft nodules of thermal plastic elastromer (tpe), a polymer that's safe for all guitar finishes — which virtually eliminates the possibility of slippage.

Reviews:
Very well made product. Excellent weight, which provides outstanding stability. The only nitpick, would be that the rubber is indeed rather, grippy. So, your guitar doesn't exactly slide into place. However, I haven't been annoyed by it yet. I'll probably pick up another just in case they catch on to how much these actually *should* cost! 🙂Xyrium
I play in Cover bands, switching from Ultimate foldable tripod stands which served me for many years. The K & M stands fold flat, fitting in my gig case nicely. Footprint onstage a bit smaller than most and I was surprised how heavy and stable they are. It's easier to pull my guitars up to play, as the Ultimate uses a 2-pronged fork at the top which grabs at the guitar headstock as I pulled the guitar away. Highly recommended for working musicians like me.Framster
Got 2 of these guitar stands for my Jackson 88LTD and a Jem. I love 'em they hold the guitar well and don't touch the neck at all. I can't stand hanging a guitar from the neck just a pet peeve I guess.Jimmy Z

I needed a 2nd Stand, as I am about to start practicing with a new band. I am getting on a bit and want as little to carry as possible. This item folds down small enough to fit in my bag, with all my leads, picks e.t.c. It's ridiculously easy to assemble and very stable with a guitar resting on it. Great piece of kit.Roy T.
I have had two of these ( 1 acoustic and 1 electric ) for many years and they are still as good as the day I bought them. Reason for buying another one? New guitar = new stand. Wouldn't buy anything else. So compact and one piece makes them great for gigging with no pieces to get lost.marshallgw
Compact heavy duty folding stand, nicely packs away for travel, I imagine this would work well on stage for 2nd/backup guitars too! Just the job!Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.

Reviews:
The stand is portable and easily fits into an equiipment gig bag; this is the main reason I purchased it. I own to others I use on stage, and this one serves as a backup stand as well as one I use when I travel for practice sessions. It provides decent support to guitars and basses, thought it's not as supportive as taller stands can be, especially those that hold the headstock and neck in place.zippystooge
I was successful at bending the padded support arms to fit a tenor ukulele. Not a perfect solution, but for casual use this foldable stand is light and easily transportable. There is virtually nothing that can be manually adjusted to fit, unless you are willing to take a little risk by physically deforming the original configuration. There is no case, and as such it is not a good candidate to travel in anything but an equipment bag or box. So far, the construction of the stand is in line with what I thought I was getting for my money. I can make it work, but time will tell if it will hold up.Wiley
Like the title indicates, I have been using these stands for 24 years. My recent purchase was to replace one that finally failed (the screw stripped). I am a solo musician, I play 3 and 4 hour gigs almost every day during the tourist season. I main instrument is a Fender Stratocaster but I have Acoustic guitars and use the acoustic stands as well. I have also placed my bass guitars on the electric guitar stand as well. I love that I can put the stand in the guitar case. I see many of my fellow entertainers carry these bulky, awkward stands that have to be carried separately. I highly recommend this product to any performer that needs to carry equipment to every gig.JT

Very sturdy, suitable for expensive gear
I liked the old Quik Lok stands better, but they changed their design so it's far less functional now. In light of that, I opted for this more expensive stand that works well for Strats, but anything with squared off sides will sit on just 4 contact points. That's enough to hold the guitar securely, but only time will tell wether or not it will affect the finish at those points.JDBlues
I bought this for my Epiphone G-1275 double neck. Sturdy and 3-click adjustable for the extra width of the double neck body. As far as my single neck guitars being secure though, I prefer the "hanging" guitar stands like the Ultimate Support GS-100 Genesis. You can't fasten a guitar neck "seat belt" on this one.John

Reviews:
This is a VERY solid 7 string. I've tried quite a few brands searching for the perfect intermediate 7 string, both active and passive electronics. So far, the best ones, by far, have been LTD and Schecter, with this one taking the cake (even over an $850 Ltd ec-407). First off, the guitar is beautiful, and the neck feels great. I usually don't like the super-strat body style, but this one has the top curves in all the right places. There is a bit of fret buzz when strummed hard on the low B, but that's to be expected and it's much more manageable than some of the others I tried. If it's a problem, I'd recommend a thicker gauge string set, I like ghs boomers in a heavy gauge (they eliminated fret buzz on a previously owned, less expensive LTD 7 string I owned) The pickups sound incredible, honestly. There are models of this same guitar with Duncan Designed pickups, and that model is slightly more expensive, but I assure you that you're not missing out if you get this one with Schecter Diamond active pickups instead. In fact… I think these sounded better in some applications! Fantastic gain, clarity, and definition, and perfect for metal, they will make your riffs sound brutal… they sound good clean too though! Overall the best bang for your buck 7 string I've tried yet. I've personally owned 5 different ones, but this and the now-discontinued Jackson slathx-m 3-7, which come stock with Seymour Duncan Sentient and Nazgul passive pickups, take the cake for the best I've played.Brian F
I was honestly quite skeptical about the idea of an eight string. A few of my buddies and I decided that, based on the type of music that we wanted to play, an eight string was the right answer. Not wanting to spend a ton on an eight string if I didn't like it, I found this model at a decent price. Needless to say, I was blown away by this guitar. Everything about it is above what I would expect for a guitar of this price point. The neck is very fast with a smooth finish, the action was set up just right, the intonation is spot on, and the correct gauge strings for the tuning we are in were already installed. I was also worried about the neck being much thicker than I would have liked, but Schecter did a phenomenal job with his neck. Another concern that I had was the electronics. In my experience, a guitar that has stock branded pickups has never really been that great. These pickups more than do the job. Eventually I can see switching them out for Fishman Fluence, but they will certainly do for now.Derek
This guitar hits a real sweet spot! If you're looking to get into a seven string on a budget, but want to guarantee you're getting a trustworthy guitar, this is the one! The quality is unbelievably good for the price. For an entry level purchase, you're getting some of the best components that Schecter has to offer; borrowing its design and some features from the iconic Hellraiser series. Side-by-side, the Omen is just as nice – almost indistinguishable in build quality and overall appearance. The guitar also came perfectly set up and ready to play from Sweetwater. Nice low action, fast neck, responsive and strong sounding pickups. I bought this guitar because I was a little hesitant to try some of the cheaper options like Harley-Benton and cheap Jacksons. I do not regret this decision one bit! The Schecter is much classier looking, has a great feel to it, and will likely last a very long time with minimal maintenance. My only real complaint with the guitar is that Schecter switched to a more swirly-patterned quilted maple finish on their newer models and I was hoping for more of the woodgrain / tiger stripe appearance that the older ones seemed to have. It's not a dealbreaker though, the finish still looks great in person! Overall I am extremely pleased. Playing 7-string is so much fun and this was the best way to get involved without risking a huge investment.

Reviews:
There's a lot of budget guitars out there, but I decided to try this one based on the Fender reputation. I couldn't be happier. First of all, the guitar is stunning to look at, just plain beautiful. That's only the tip of the iceberg. The neck is fast, the action great, and it just feels good to play. Fret ends are so smooth you hardly know they are there, tuners hold tune so well I have only had to tune once in the last week. Checked the intonation on the meter when it arrived and all strings were right on the money. I'm frankly surprised to get such a good instrument at this price point, if I had paid twice as much would still have felt like I stole it. I recommend without reservation, you can't go wrong with this little beauty. One note, it will not fit most gig bags, it is almost 42", if you want a bag or case, make sure it is going to fit!
The guitar arrived with no tool kit or case candy, labels, etc. There was a piece of thread where a label should have been, but no label. I restrung it and tried for two days to get the tuning and intonation right, to no avail. (I have been playing a lot of years…not a beginner). Worst of all looking around the guitar there was a patch of, what appeared to be, dried blood. My conclusion was that this guitar had been sent out to someone else. They had possibly pricked a finger whilst stringing it, then realising it was badly made had returned it. When I ordered, PMT just sent the returned guitar out to me hence no label or tool kit. Like my review title says…very disapointed.Hugh C.
Incredible guitar in all respects. Plays very nicely. Plenty of volume, and killer tone. Built like a truck! Finish, and look are stellar! Light weight, and balanced. Great for rock, blues, and jazz! Neck is really nice! A simply super quality guitar thats worth every penny. Way above a starter guitar. Used for pro recording, and concerts. Fender has this one done right. If you want more tones, go the the 399 model, but this one is great, and versatile enough for me. Gets many comps from the crowd, and other musicians! Very original cool design!Jack

Really useful item for standing your guitar and very versatile too. I do like the adjustable neck. Could do with a little more padding where the guitar rests but other than that very good indeed.john70000_1
There are a lot of guitar stands for sale, most are cheap and poorly made. This however is a real quality item which should last forever. Great price too.artflashart

If you plug into the bottom edge, like a Les Paul, you may need to drill a hole. Well constructed. Hard to use seated. Could use a gooseneck. Sturdy. Great for standing.nolens
With high hopes and expectations I was let down with this stand. Several of the parts are plastic and that didn't give me confidence. After firmly affixing my guitar to the stand, and with an extra pull, really made sure my expensive instrument was ready, I knelt down to adjust pedals. At that moment, my guitar swung down and extracted itself from the stand, breaking it's fall across my neck, back and shoulders. Needless to say, I don't think this stand is show-worthy. I returned it and got my refund. I had a Gracie stand prior to this one, and it worked well for years. Those are heavy and bulky stands-but hey-the gear will thank you for it.cittadinadibergamo

Reviews:
I purchased this guitar when it was $95 off full price. So that kind of makes it a worthwhile purchase. Definitely not worth full price in my opinion. Poorly packed with insufficient padding in the box allowed two of the strings to be bent during shipping. I assume this happened during shipping. They wouldnt send bent strings right? Thankfully they provided back up strings… The nut is very poorly crafted. You can visibly see burrs and imperfections in the nut that cause the strings to ring out of tune on certain parts of the fret board even after tuning. The pick-up selector nob fell right off first time I adjusted it. I will have to glue it myself. When the notes do play out true the triple pick ups sound better than the Peavy beginner guitar I used to have– Which only had two pickups and came in a similar starter package but was about half the price as this guitar. I think if I research how to fix some of the issues I can make it playable. But this guitar is far from playable out of the box. Fairly poor quality control.Cody
I was looking forward to ordering this as my first guitar after taking some classes a couple years back. The shipping was remarkably fast–however, when the product arrived the amp was completely broken. Upon plugging the guitar into the amp and strumming, it would make a horrendous scratching, broken sound. Plucking strings has the exact same effect, and occasionally the amp will cut off after a second of playing. I've tried adjusting the dials, turning overdrive on and off, I even bought a new cord thinking that was the issue to no avail. To make matters worse I have called the customer support number multiple times asking if I could recieve a partial refund, or ship back the amp for a functioning replacement–every time I'm left on hold before the call disconnects, if I can even get through to begin with. The only reason this isn't a one star review is that the guitar itself works fine and looks beautiful! I wouldn't reccomend buying the full set if they don't bother to make sure one of the most essential parts is functioning before shipping however.James B.
I worked outside for my father for a good many weeks while the guitar was on sale, and when I got it, I had mixed emotions. After a few days, the gig bag started to rip and now theres a big hole in it. Its still usable, but it isnt really well made. Also the bag isnt really protective. Its more decorative. The strings on it and the other ones were both junk, my local guitar shop guy told me that himself, but strings are moderately priced, and most of the time they last a while, so thats not much of a deal. The amp is lower end, and the cable that plugs into the amp and the guitar started to show copper wire around 2 weeks after purchase. It still works, but it should have lasted longer. And the stand on the amp didnt hold up at all, the plastic on it broke and now it wont angle so the sound comes at your face. But other than that its a good purchase, i would just suggest to just buy the guitar alone, and buy the amp separately, instead of the kit, but that may get expensive, so check out those options and compare them to this product and decide for yourself. My local guitar shop guy told me that the guitar itself is great quality though, but there are more expensive guitars out there, its a great guitar to start out with. Another side note, not relating to the quality of the guitar, but for beginners, how to learn how to play it fast. I suggest buying Rocksmith 2014 with this for PC, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One and other game consoles. Although it is expensive, the cable that comes with it counts as $20 dollars of it, and it actually surprisingly works! I started playing the game in late june or early july this year and I learned pretty quickly, to the point where I am now thinking about combining lessons and the game together to speed up the learning process even faster. Now it wont turn you into Guns N Roses overnight, but its pretty effective.TheVanillaMiner

Reviews:
Without a doubt, this instrument is on par with the most expensive jazz guitars I have ever picked up in 45 years. The workmanship, detail, and component quality are right up there with the best. I did change the strings to LaBella Flats because I like flat-wounds on jazz instruments rather than the round-wounds. The action was perfectly set at 5/64th on delivery. I readjusted the bridge for a flat intonation of the high E, but that's it. I have the HB model (humbuckers) because I prefer them to P90's both sonically and cosmetically. The humbuckers are wide response with excellent output level. The only things you might object to is 1) the matte finish if you prefer glossy, and 2) lack of individual Volume/Tone controls for each pickup – but the feel, sound, and action match the best. I am a Godin fan for life! What a great value.bbqbob
I have been using this guitar for 3 weeks now. Beautiful instrument, it really stands out from the crowded guitar market with its unique design. I do not see any technical or presentation flaw on the instrument. The neck is very comfortable to play up to the 12th fret. Beyond this, the continuous play is not terribly comfortable due to the size of the body (I always had solid body guitar in the past). But that is fine for jazz. The sound is great! when it is unplugged, it has a beautiful resonance and tone (especially with flat-wound strings). Furthermore, due to the strings beyond the bridge, there is great sustain and overtones. Maybe even a bit too much. When the guitar is plugged in, it has a beautiful rich tone. I had a gig with a jazz quartet when I played in front of the amp, and there was no feedback at all. The mini-humbucker pickup is a little quiet compared to my other guitar that has Seymour Duncan active pickups, but that is ok. I just need to turn the volume a bit more up. The guitar is super light weight! It is nothing compared to my mahogany solid body guitar. This is again a great feature when you have to stand for long during a gig. The body size is not too large, not too small, very comfortable to play for longer periods. The case is similarly superb: lightweight and really solid construction. The only problem is that it does not fit in the boot of my car anymore (Mazda 3).. Overall, great guitar, fully recommend it. In terms of delivery, the only issue was that it was not stated upfront that the guitar has to be ordered from Canada. My impression was that it was available in the store already, but after ordering, it turned out that there was a waiting time. It was not bad, I have received the guitar in 2 weeks (including professional setup). It could have been worse. Apart from this communication issue, Richard was really supportive and set the guitar up without a flaw. Everything went really smoothly, though I was really itchy during the waiting time to finally receive this great guitar.Attila L.
This is a very nice guitar. The only thing I did to it was lower the action and change the strings to flatwounds. Because it does not have a heavy lacquer finish the tone really comes through. It is not fancy, but the wood is beautiful. The humbucker pickups are very clear and the tone knob changes the tone without muting the sound. Only one volume and one tone controls, so not lot of choices. At this price point this guitar is a great value. I really hated the TRIC case that comes with this guitar. It is made from Styrofoam with stretch canvas over it. It has cheap plastic hinges and the zippers don't always want to work. The handle is to tight and hard to get your hand around and the Velcro will not stay together. It is very large and bulky. It has backpack straps on the back side, but is too large to carry on your back. I don't know what they were thinking when they design this thing. I pull out my guitars and found that an Epiphone Emperor hardshell case (SKU 540810) will fit it perfect. In the TRIC case the guitar would move around, but in the Epiphone case it stays put. (See picture). I just put a Made in Canada sticker over the Epiphone logo and you would not know that in did not come in this case. 5 stars for the guitar and 1 star for the TRIC case. 🙂DonV
19. Musician's Gear Deluxe A-Frame Electric Guitar And Bass Stand Black
Product Details:
Rugged square-tube construction. adjustable neck support. super stable design. color: black. gender: male. age group: 12 up.
Reviews:
As noted in other reviews, bottom curved part hits against bottom knob, and tends to turn it slightly, when inserting or removing the guitar, if it has more than 3 pots/knobs. Care must be exercised when putting a guitar into the stand and when removing it from the stand. The stand is not practical for acoustic guitars. I have less expensive stands that are easier to use, don't conflict with knobs, and accommodate all my guitars, both acoustic and electric. This stand has a relatively small footprint, and will hold an electric guitar securely for display purposes, but I would not recommend it to anyone who wants to pick up the guitar, or put it on the stand, quickly and easily.Bass Pretender
Bought this item for the purpose of modifying and marrying to a small speaker stand. The purpose of this was to manufacture a bass guitar stand that would hold my bass in an upright position for easier left hand positioning because of carpal tunnel problems, also to remove the weight of the bass from my shoulder due to lumbar spinal stenosis. Worked great as you can see from photo.visualword
I used the products to display my guitars. I have acoustic/electrics and they are a bit thicker than I had hoped and hardly fit the stands. I made it work. The twelve-strings didn't work at all. The stands are sturdy and don't tip or fall over when lifting out or putting back in. It was my fault I misunderstood the reading what they were for.Cheryl
20. Hercules Gs302b Travlite Electric Guitar Stand
Product Details:
The hercules travlite electric guitar stand boasts pure convenience. it's lightweight, compact, and incredibly reliable. but that's not all, it folds down too. making it perfect for the travelling player searching for a stand that's ready for the road. all this convenience speaks to more than just the travelling player though, it's great for any electric guitarist looking for a sleek, non-invasive electric guitar stand for the home or studio as well. plus, with foam surrounding every possible contact point of your guitar, you have pure peace of mind that your instrument's finish is safe and sound too.
Reviews:
Overall the product is great. Collapses easily for transport to a gig or rehearsal. Issue I had was the yoke size. I have a hollow body electric bass almost 3" thick so ordered the acoustic version of this product first. But the yoke was too wide and the guitar tipped back and was unstable. I read that this electric guitar version would hold guitars up to 3.5" thick so bought it, but my guitar did not fit. I was able to bend the prongs back in my vise so my guitar now just fits. So be aware of your guitar width.Craig
Fits perfectly after fitting some extra padding to the pegs at the front. But impressed with the compact and solid design none of the less. Would recommend after appling some simple and cheap cotton wraps.Richard G.
What can I say – it's a guitar stand. Bought for small size, so I can tuck guitar away in the cornet of a room, tempting me to pick it up an play, rather than put it away in a case. This one is in Eb. I hope to get an Ab version one day.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
