The Sharper Image massaging neck wrap I guess, is a good concept but it needs work. This device wraps around your neck and it stays put via velcro. It has a vibrating motor and heating elements inside. The material used is soft, I will say it is microfiber or similar. You can choose from 3 different massaging speeds and 3 heating settings. There are two buttons on the device one will turn on the vibration and the other the heating. There is a long USB-A cable that will protrude from one of the flaps that can be connected to the USB socket or the included power brick. After using it for a few days I honestly did not feel any difference when it comes to comfort. I am a side sleeper and I often do get some neck discomfort from time to time. The vibration can be felt and is calming but at the lowest setting. At higher speed the noise from the motor becomes annoying and that’s because it is on your neck close to your ears. Something else I found annoying were the labels fixed on the flaps that go around your neck. Those labels are too big and stiff and they rub against your skin making it very uncomfortable. The work around was to fold the labels and put it behind the one that is made of fabric. Also the flaps could be kind of wide for someone with a small neck making it difficult to put your chin at a relaxed position. There were times that I had to loosen up a bit so I could look down while sitting on the bed. If not you will have to keep your head in a straight position. The heating felt really good, especially in a cold environment. It is also very hot at the highest setting, hot enough to make you sweat. A nice feature that was added was the vitality to turn itself off after 15 minutes. Overall is a good concept but this one needs more work. Maybe one in the future could be wireless instead. I like that they chose to use a USB cable to provide power. This gives more options for use when you don’t have access to a power outlet, but do have a spare powered USB port. At first glance I wasn’t sure what this wrap was really going to accomplish as I found it rather small in size,however,this little neck wrap proved to me that good things do come in small packages. I’ve owed other wraps and they can be rather cumbersome. This wrap is very soft and comfortable and comes with an extender strap to provide a better fit. I like the adjustable levels of heat, though the controls are on the wrap not on the wire. Because of this it can be difficult to know what the setting is (especially if you accidentally push the button while positioning the wrap) without taking the wrap off. It heats up fairly quickly and I feel it is adequate in targeting the achey muscles and relieving the tension without having to constantly readjust once it’s strapped in place.I am able to tolerate it comfortably even on the highest setting. The massage option in my opinion is mediocre as it is just vibrations which I don’t feel are that effective for me personally. The cord is adequate however doesn’t offer much mobility. I mainly use it at night while in bed winding down for the evening so it’s not a deal breaker for me. This telecaster has a Maple neck with a normal C shape and felt really unrefined for a "Fender" neck. I decided to get this Fender Telecaster Standard Replacement Neck with a Modern C shape neck. This new actual Fender neck was a drastic change in quality and performance. Here's just a quick Pros and Con of this product. PROS: Real Fender Product – Because this is an official Fender product, the neck replacement on my Squier was seamless and very simple. Modern C – Makes a better feeling guitar when playing compared to the normal C shape neck. Satin Neck Finish on back – The neck is very smooth feeling when playing. The finish on the back of the neck doesn't get in the way of you playing fast. This helps if you have sweaty hands when playing. Gloss fretboard – This makes a difference because if doesn't feel like your fingers are sticking to the fretboard. Medium Jumbo Frets – Just feels nice when moving around the fretboard. Bending strings feel nicer than my old Squier frets. Pre Drilled Holes for Tuners – I already had Fender locking tuners. So it was a simple swap with no mods needed. CONS: Nut not slotted – I don't understand why the NUT isn't slotted at least for common string size. It is very slightly to get you started but you would need a file. I just used the low E strong and used it like a file but it didn't come out too well and I've had to buy a new nut that comes preslotted. I can pull out my strat or tele after not playing them for a few days and they are right in tune look at the quality that is put into them and you'd agree. when screwed to a sunburst or pastel colored body they just really enhance the look of your instrument. the cost of the roasted neck is something you gotta think about like do you really want to spend that kinda Ching on a neck? hell you can buy a standard neck for less or even buy an after market neck and play the same its all about the stability of the wood that closed the deal for me. dig down deep in yer pocket and pony up the Ching for one of these I'm pretty sure you be pleased you did. I have them mounted to Mexican fenders and American fenders all have mated up perfect and very little fret work was needed this is my experience with these necks and you will find the same. in short I dig mine and will in the future will only use these beautiesho-joe56

I should have thought about that with all of the moisture being removed from the wood. I used fender press fit tuner bushings and installed them with a C-clamp as I always have. I heard the headstock crack as I was installing the D string bushing and my heart sank. Luckily, I was able to inject some wood glue and clamp it overnight to close it up, but I reamed out the G tuner bushing and learned my lesson. use care when installing the tuner bushings on anything roasted as the fibers in the wood simply will not compress the same way another neck would.Grey

This is a fun way to get string and woodwind sounds from an electric guitar. It took me a couple of hours of practice to get to a point where I could produce a desired sound on command. Reading the manual is a must, as this is quite a different experience for guitar players. But the results are worth it, and you will be able to produce unique sounds that set you apart from a typical guitar player. The downside is that the unit is cased in plastic and will most likely not survive a bad drop. So treat it gingerly.gentlebanana

First thing is that my disappointment might be because e-bows won't work with active pickups due to their low magnetic field. However, before purchase, I did e-mail EMG to ask if it should work with their pickups (all my guitars have EMGs) and they said yes. However, despite this, on the normal setting, the e-bow did not produce any sound at all; on the harmonic setting, it took 5-6 seconds to build any sound at all. I just received the Ebow Plus, which has three modes, (Standard, Off and Harmony). It's fairly easy to use, but definitely requires a bit of practice before using during a live performance . Made of plastic (go figure) so you'd definitely want to avoid dropping it I'd say. Otherwise, it's pretty light and easy to grip in my opinion. I've read reviews that say it doesn't work well on single coil pickups, but I can certainly tell you that's not true! I have a stratocaster with all single coils and it works just fine. It's all about how well you position the Ebow correctly near the pickup selected. I don't see this as a gadget being used alot , but it's definitely a cool addition to your rig setup for a different effects like violin, Cello or woodwind. It holds sustain like there's no tomorrow, but keep in mind, you can only play the single string that you have this resting over, so if that's what you're lookin for, check out some youtube vids on it and get you one if so desire. I spent 15-20 minutes on the phone attempting to get info on the correct size Fret Wrap. I didn't. The CS person said this one would work. It's too small and depresses the strings rather that just muffling them. I play Ibanez and Fender electrics – so the necks are already pretty small at the nut. The medium size would have been the correct choice. So I can't NOT recommend them. Just get the right size for your needs.YeahOK

Bending strings feel nicer than my old Squier frets. Pre Drilled Holes for Tuners – I already had Fender locking tuners. So it was a simple swap with no mods needed. CONS: Nut not slotted – I don't understand why the NUT isn't slotted at least for common string size. It is very slightly to get you started but you would need a file. I just used the low E strong and used it like a file but it didn't come out too well and I've had to buy a new nut that comes preslotted. No predrilled String tree hold – This really wasn't too much of a problem but it's scary if you get it wrong. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase after two weeks of everyday playing with it. perfect fitment into a MIM fender body. finish was flawless and the dark maple is beautiful. mistake made on my part, not fender….. the roasted maple has so much less give than standard maple. I should have thought about that with all of the moisture being removed from the wood. I used fender press fit tuner bushings and installed them with a C-clamp as I always have. I heard the headstock crack as I was installing the D string bushing and my heart sank. Luckily, I was able to inject some wood glue and clamp it overnight to close it up, but I reamed out the G tuner bushing and learned my lesson. use care when installing the tuner bushings on anything roasted as the fibers in the wood simply will not compress the same way another neck would.Grey

I just received the heating pad and tried it for the first time today. I was pleasantly surprised at how warm the pad got. I had read reviews saying it didn’t get hot enough. If you’re looking for really hot use a rice bag in the microwave, but if you want a good amount of heat that relaxes you this heating pad is perfect! The fabric is really cozy and the strap is really helpful and nice to get the maximum heat from it. The only part I would say could be better is a stronger magnet on the neck piece. It holds if laying down and with very minimal movement but if switching positions while laying down or moving a lot it comes undone. For me it’s not a huge deal I’m the end but it would be nice to have it not do that. Overall I’m pleased with this purchase.Teddyreviews

Overall I like this product. It is especially nice while I am working at my desk. I can feel the heat on my shoulders and back, with most of the heat felt on my low back. My only complaint is that the magnetic closures on the shoulder heating area do not connect, so it does not fit securely. This may be because I am a tall guy (6' 5") with broad shoulders. However, while working on my computer it does not feel like it will fall off. Other than that, great product and would highly recommend it for anyone with tight shoulders and back pain.goof123
