Dual Electric Guitar Gig Bag For Sale (2024 Update)

I give this bag only 3 stars because unless Gator upgraded the bag or is making it in the U.S., I don't see the reason for the price increase. I bought one of these for a Sterling by Music Man bass as I was under the impression Gator bags were made in the U.S. when, come to find out, they're made in China (as are Fender gig bags). As the photos indicate, this bag will work for a Fender P Bass, but the Fender FB620 is a better bag for that and other Fender bass guitars while presently costing 10 less than the Gator while offering better protection and features. The Gator GB-4G seems to be more of a universal fit bag accommodating a wider range of sizes. The thing it seemed to have going for it the most was its zipper which seemed heavy duty. I say "seemed" because I returned the bass and so the bag as well.Vice

As you can see by the photos, there's too much room in the bag for a Strat size guitar (though one might be able to insert the headstock into the bag's internal top pocket to prevent the guitar from sliding around too much in the bag). The Gator GB-4G ELEC Series Gig Bag is more of a universal fit bag better suited for guitars longer and/or wider than a Strat.Vice

It's a great gig bag to have for you to carry a extra guitar just in case and have enough room for cables and a pedal or two and it's double padded on both side for both guitars.qslimtim

This is a gig worthy bag. It hold two electrics, Two of a Tele, Les, Strat. Even a 7 string Ibanez RG5127 and an 8 string Ibanez RG852.starofradiance

A brilliantly well made high quality guitar case that I specifically purchased for travelling. I often use the electric part of the case for carrying clothes whilst I travelling. Back straps are adequate, strong and comfortable to walk long distance between venues. All together I'm well pleasedTrevor B.

The zippers on these bags are junk. they need to use heavier top notch zippers. the zipper on the smaller compartment areas is too small for real usage. Not sure why they just dont use the larger zipper on EVERYTHING. The a 3 point velcro rings for the tick bag should be 4 point (it sags on the single point if the tick bag is packed). where they strap at the top with 2 points is good, but its a bit wonky on the single strap in the middle because what happens is if you are carrying the guitar by the handle the tick bag sags down at that point a little bit. The guitar bags are kinda spendy but if you've invested into it, then the company should go the extra mile.I just wonder how much these guys have really travelled gig after gig with these bags. They are better than most out there though but also a lot more money too. I just think they need to use better zippers and add better/stiffer sidewalls for the guitar cases. My rig is heavy and wonder how long the guitar bag shoulder straps will last too. They seem sturdy, and so far so good. I play a Les Paul and the case could have stiffer sides for a heavier guitar. If you play a Strat or Tele then you're probably OK. Also, the smaller compartments are pretty much usesless too. they try to compartmenalize everything and all they need to do is keep it simple becuase NOTHING fits into the tight little spaces inside the pockets, unless you carry a lot of pens? I like spaces large enough for a couple extra pre-amp tubes, and slides but most of the inside pocket spaces are way too small for anything except, sharpies, or cable tips? . Someone who designed it must have carried a lot of pens/sharpies around because nothing else fits into them. I'd rather see a single zipper or velco space where you can just stuff everything itno it. Overall its a decent bag and better than most gig bags but these arent inexpensive either. The larger compartment could open a bit wider too. Its pretty small compared to the picture.effective.edge

Hands down this has been the best gig bag i have ever purchased and likely the last until it has to be replaced. I had previous cheaper versions and they were just that, cheap. This MONO bag has been a huge upgrade and im so happy i made the decision to get it. The linning inside makes sure the finish is well protected and the neck strap and support block are such a great insurance knowing guitar is not going to swing around in the space. The storage is great holding all my cable (both 1/4 inch and Kemper pedal cable) In ears, picks,spare strings and even having both guitars loaded (An ESP telecaster and PRS 7 string) its not a bad weight evenly distributed when strapped on your back. Outer shell is extremely well made and looks like its going to stand up to the road well. Bottom has rubber treads to set it on the ground without worry. If your looking at it but are scared of the price dont be, after your first set you will be glad you got itDaniel

Decent gig bag, especially when you consider the low price. Construction is very good and fits many of my electrics. I have gig bags that are much better, but they are 3 or 4 times the price. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the thin padding.JJRCANUCK

For MY review… These Glary made "Wayfinder" gig bags are not really made to protect a vintage / collectable guitar. They are made (In my humble opinion) for storage or shipping ANY guitar. I sell guitars for a living, and I buy these Wayfinder gig bags to pack / protect guitars for shipping. That said… These are the absolute best value for what they are. The padding is medium density 5MM P.E. foam (good enough for storage), and the outer shell is a fair choice of a Nylon material. The stitching is also a Nylon format, and the zipper is more than sturdy enough for a "snug fitting guitar". IF you need something to carry a guitar from place to place I would spend a FEW dollars more, and look at the Glary "Hard Shell" cases but IF you are storing or shipping guitars… I think these are the best value gig bag on the market. I agree with a previous post that it is made for a 3/4” more than full size, however it will fit a full size. Just length wise it’s a bit of a stretch. My Jasmine S-35 did just that. As far as material and padding, you are getting $14 worth which is what I paid. Nylon material is a little lighter than others and the padding will protect from light dings while moving around but not more forceful impacts. All in all, it’s a good bag to transport your guitar from point A to point B such as classes, or to your practice spot or a friend’s house. If you want a bag to travel and throw around with the luggage and gear, maybe upgrade a little.jmedi

I picked this up for my ESP LTD B206 and it’s perfect. It’s super snug so your instrument doesn’t move around. I love the neck support with Velcro enclosure to secure the instrument. I also appreciate the end pin padding. I keeps the end pin from poking through the bag. Well built and durable. I love this case. I always bring two guitars in case of broken strings, and different songs call for different sounds. Having both in one bag makes load in and out a breeze. my only con would be the straps need to be wider. two guitars no matter how light are heavy and wider straps would be better.Leon

Doesn't have an enormous amount of storage but the big pocket is roomy enough for cables, tablet, etc. It's smaller than the the other dual bags I looked at and you'd be forgiven if you thought it was a bag for a single acoustic guitar at first glance. Inside it's nothing fancy but it holds the guitars in well and the material is the type that won't leave fuzz on your instrument. Well worth the money if you need to take 2 guitars along with you to gigs or practice. It's the perfect balance of good protection without being overly bulky or expensive. Check them out!AJB

This bag is a bargain! Has plenty of solid padding and really offers Cadillac protection at a budget price. Have tested it with both straight and tilted headstocks and it works great with both, and offers much better protection than normal gig bags. Also offers more storage space than most other gig bags regardless of price range. Showed it to others in my original band and they couldn't believe the quality for the price! I've used the single guitar gig bag before and knew it was high quality and so far not disappointed at all with this new one. If you're considering a double guitar gig bag you can't go wrong with this one!PRSman

This was priced right and will do the job. It's not the most heavy duty bag I have, but definitely not the worst. All in all I'd recommend it for a gigging player with work tools, but NOT collectable axes. There's no real neck support in this bag, but if you're careful, you should be OK.Keith L

Fender branded electric guitar case. Fits a Stratocaster. The padding is on the thinner side (the FE620 model has thicker padding and better protection). Plenty of pockets for accessories. Ok yes the build quality is decent and it's good looking. Don't just accept other reviews at face value that this is some kind of panacea of quality. It's fine. Probably wouldn't hold up to heavy regular use but for medium to light use it should be fine. The carrying handle on particular looks like it would wear out quickly. I don't gig a lot anymore so the price/quality seemed good. My biggest complaint and the reason I'm returning it is the sizing is kind of absurd. It's way too big. I bought mainly to use with a Strat and there are big gaps all the way around. Cases of any type only work well when the fit is snug. If there is slop, bad things happen. I've traveled with many types of instruments over the last 20 years and the ones that have never been damaged were the ones that were well fitted in their cases. Picture attached with Strat.DR

This model checks of most of the basic features today's players expect from a high-end gig bag, and does so at an amazing price! The fabric, stitching and padding are top notch. The accessory pocket is classy – I like the removeable pouch that is perfect for a trem arm and setup tools. This gig bag is very ergonomic and is easy to carry. Obviously designed to fit a strat like a glove it may not fit other guitars as well. I did managed to get my Fernandes Retrorocket in it, even with the angled reverse headstock, but it was a bit too muck work. My Warmoth body Strat fits perfectly. Strat/Tele owners should jump all over this insane value. I couldn't be happier.Tim H.

I ordered 2 ChromCast Padded Gig Bags for my Telecaster and LesPaul guitars. The build quality of ChromCast products is consistently excellent, made with heavy duty material and zipper. The bottom of the bag has a rubber bumper which adds protection to the instrument. Some other brands don?t have this feature. Inside the bag, the padding is thick enough to absorb shock while the lining material is smooth and soft as silk for your precious guitar. It also has a Velcro strap to hold down the neck. There are also thick lining materials for the headstock and bridge location to protect it from getting torn by the sharp ends of the strings or bridge screws. My kids (ages 9 and 11) got guitars as gifts a year ago. They have been taking beginner guitar lessons for a year now. The guitars originally came with very thin guitar bags with no padding. After a year of taking these guitars to and from lessons, the other bags were tearing apart. So I wanted to get replacement bags for them, but I don't have a lot of knowledge about guitars. So we found these bags and wanted to give them a try. We have had two of these bags for three weeks now and both of my kids LOVE these bags. They are padded, well made bags that have 6 pockets. They have two sets of carry handles and backpack style straps. These bags meet our needs for a beginning guitar player who takes their guitars to lessons each week. Plenty of room for beginner kid sized acoustic guitars and the pockets are great for storing tuners, capos, picks, music and they still have storage pockets that they haven't used yet. Other reviewers talk about how good these bags are for experienced players, but I wanted to give the perspective of how handy these bags are for kids who are beginning guitar players.aandjshop

Great starter bag, would recommend to anyone getting a beginner going on an acoustic. I bought this bag for a Fender Squire acoustic and it fits perfectly! The padding is good, but you will still need to handle the guitar carefully when in the bag. The straps are nice and the bag its self is well made with great pockets and handles. I would buy a hard case if kids are intendinf on traveling with it. The strap is pretty basic, and is cheaply made but will hold up fine for the introductory period until we decide to upgrade. Overall: See title. I own two gig bags from World Tour. One is an older model and the other is this one. Both are great. They offer a good bit of protection and they aren't too expensive. The materials feel very durable. Other gig bags cost double this and aren't as good. I highly recommend World Tour gig bags to anyone. As a heads up, my short scale bass is able to fit in this deluxe electric guitar bag. I am so happy. The next time I need a gig bag, I will get another one from World Tour.Marshall

I purchased this gig bag for a Squier Bullet Telecaster, and the guitar fit perfectly. I love the thickness of the padding and features such as the extra nylon pad on the headstock, so the strings don't rip apart the inside of the gig bag, as it happens with so many other ones. The pockets are nice and roomy, definitely more than enough for me. All handles and straps are high quality and feel sturdy, never makes you feel like they're gonna rip out on you. Zippers feel good, they're big and bulky, definitely high quality! You're getting quite a lot of value for the price this gig bag sells for! I've read terrible reviews and seen pictures of big brand gig bags (some of which retail for 2-3 times the price of this one, so I went with this one and can't recommend it enough!Oscar

At first glance it looks pretty minimal, but I wanted something lightweight for a guitar that would be carefully handled–by me. Although the padding is quite thin, it has a nice heft to it and provides better cushioning than some bags I've used that are much thicker. Also, it fits a Strat like a glove, and the padding is in all the right places, so there's no flopping around inside the bag, so the guitar is really very well protected. There's only an outside accessory pocket, but big enough for a strap and extra strings. If you need a lot of features or think the guitar will be handled roughly, then maybe this isn't for you. But for most players, it's a nice bag, very light in weight and provides very good protection if you use some common sense…Lefty

This is a nice, high quality bag but its not really made for a minion bass. Its made for a Minion Rhodes guitar. My Jackson JS1X minion bass fits but barely. Theres a lot of pressure on the headstock because of how tight it is – which reduces its protection.aaronheinly

Very well made gig bag. Holds the guitar cables and tuner etc in 2 decent sized zip pockets on the front. Very thick sturdy material. Jackson Soloist Pro fits like a glove. There is an extra layer of a thick rubber grip on the base of the bag which prevents water/beer soaking the bag and helps keep the bag stable.jonathan5774

It's a new bag with tags, though listed as "used." It's a very tight fit for the Jackson Kelly. You need to put the headstock in first and then work the back up over the body. It's well made and I'm glad it's got fabric corners holding it in and not just the zipper. It's a good substitute for a hard case when you compare the cost of any hard case for these weird-body guitars.frankb360

This fits my Firefly 338 nicely (should fit any 335 copy), with a little breathing room. Very well padded and seems very durable. I usually use hard cases, but this is a kind of kick-around guitar that I like to be able to throw on my back and take anywhere and still have both hands free. There are protectors on the inside for the headstock and bridge/pickup areas to prevent pulls in the fabric. The pockets are very useful, including some small zippered compartments. The larger pocket fits a 1" 3-ring binder I carry for sheet music nicely. the weak point of many of these gig bags is the zippers, these seem quite good; they seem to be nylon and look and feel durable, with nice long tags for grips. It's well padded and comes with straps for carrying. It's a very nice and well built case. I trust the guitar will be safe when kept in the bag!Tasha

This is not a snug fit, but it's long enough to contain the guitar. REINFORCED! Areas that touch the Tuners, Tremolo Block, Bottom Strap Pin have tough webbed panels and Exterior sides, expected areas of wear have synthetic leather panels. Very smart straps/hangers… GREAT BAG! 😁Bret

It should be made clear that this is a guitar bag, and not a hard case. It serves its purpose as a convenient yet very attractive way to locally transport my guitar, while also providing a few accessory pouches. Like most things now-a-days, it's made in China but seems to be designed and stitched well, with decent zippers, straps and handles. The only apparent downside is that the chemicals used in the production of this bag were retained within the shipping materials, and it smells really bad. A few days of airing it out should do the trick. Overall, this is a nice BAG.tully

This does not fit an acoustic guitar but shows up when u search for acoustic gig bag. its long enough but not wide enough. And they charge return shipping so 1 star for me. Quality is good if you bare using for a electric guitar or a very thin smaller acoustic.trevriffic
