When it comes to strings, I have always opted for the biggies, usually D'Addario extra hard tension (and the titanium treble set is my go-to). I believed in the SRV adage: Bigger strings give bigger tone. I picked up a set of these Augustines the last time they were on sale at MF. I confess I got 'em because they had Segovia on the package and were on sale. My heart sank when the strings arrived, they are the black label set and are marked "extra light tension." I teach in a public school and thought I'd put these strings on and beat them to death in a matter of days. That was over a month ago, and my mid 70s Yamaha (solid cedar/rosewood) has never sounded better. I don't know what it is about these strings (components, care of manufacture), but they seem to really lay flat on the board, and I mean that in a good way. I have already admitted that my classical technique really blows, but when I try to bear down on the lower strings, the heavier wound strings almost seem to "roll" under my stupid sausage fingers. Not so these guys. Very pleasant sound and feel, I may have switched brands to Augustine Blacks. And did I mention Segovia's picture is on the label?…E. T.

Usually when I string my guitars I use Savarez high tension strings, however, I became curious and decided to use Sevilla for the first time. When I put them on a good mid-low action guitar and tried a rasgueo, it sounded BEAUTIFUL. It has that incredible crispy tone, that sexy dramatic snappy percussion sound. Regardless of what other people say about this(probably because they're not players of Flamenco, shocking how these strings are labeled for classical yet sound so essential for Flamenco.) That "metallic" sound they're describing is that aggressive beautiful sound that comes from Flamenco's dramatic passion. Overall this is a wonderful brand and it is true how it lasts very long.
My classical requires ball end strings. I have tried every different brand of less expensive strings, and most are great. However, these are exceptional. I hate having to spend forty clams for two sets of strings, but Sevilla are the best. I have had to return some before because of tarnish, and I have broken new strings before, which makes me so mad. Yet when everything goes according to plan, the tone, the feel, and the warmth are unsurpassed. In addition, my current set has been on for about a year, and are still awesome. Peace.pipe925

I prefer ball end strings, simply because the restring goes quicker. However, I shouldn't have to restring this guitar for a very long time, that's nice on my own guitars, but when restringing for clients, I prefer the ball end … time is money, you know. I just don't think you can beat these strings, not for the price. you could spend a lot more, and not do as well. Other than the way they're packaged, which is obviously done to keep the cost lower, they're as good as any I've ever used or heard. You can spend twenty times as much money, and not have any better strings, for all my trained ears can tell. There aren't really any features, they're stings. These are the tie on kind, not ball end, perfect for a true classical guitar. Once stretched in, they do play easily, and are much softer on the fingers than steel. These strings should last a very long time. They don't take near the tension of steel strings to tune up, and once they're stretched in, they stay in tune quite well … better than steel strings … the break in period will throw you, but if you know a few of the tricks of installing nylon strings, you can hurry this along. Do not install them and expect to play them at a public performance the same day, especially right before the gig. As with ALL nylon strings, they absolutely must have a period of time to stretch. I didn't like the packaging, all the strings came in one bundle, not separate, labeled strings. Sometimes hard to tell which string is which. You simply can't do better on price. Maybe they're not as good as some of the name brand nylon strings, but I'd be hard pressed to tell by ear or feel. I can't tell the difference. I like the ease of fingering, and the mellow tone they produce. Maybe you don't like it so mellow, but that's personal taste and has nothing to do with the quality or value.David Broughhton
Okay, these are all nylon, "student" strings. However, once you get them "stretched in" they stay in tune well, sound as good as any, and last a very long time. I've had a set on my favorite classical guitar for over two years now, and they still sound great, and stay in tune well. Can't say that about most strings, espeically steel ones. The nylon makes them not hurt the fingers so much when doing extended practice sessions. Great for a biginner or pro.David Broughhton

I've bought the keyboard a few months ago and it's been holding up, for the budget it's really well built and i wouldn't expect anything less, rgb is alright, doesn't have that many options and you can't change the colors. Only thing I'd recommend is to buy the black version, if there is one. White keyboards are just not the go. Also I've noticed that there isn't any anti-ghosting.
