Product was milled smooth and straight, and I was able to glue up four lengths to make the top without any need for a joiner. Dry fit couldn't be improved upon. The under side has a rabbit done with a 3/8 straight bit in router table. Cuts clean leaving a smooth edge. First time I've work this species, and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.KEN
I ordered two pieces of the Bolivian Rosewood. When they arrived one was perfect, the other looked like an airplane propeller! It was useless. I contacted Rockler customer service. They promptly took care of the problem and sent me a new board that was perfect. This wood is amazing and has beautiful grain.James
Excellent grain and color on this piece of wood. Rosewood is approximately three times as hard as red oak and is extremely strong. The piece from Rockler was very finely finished on the surface, making for little sanding period it takes only a tiny bit – if any at all – stain. All you really need to do, is put on your final finish or some oil.Barry
