Reviews:
Really impressed with the sound. Stays in tune well and the sound and the sustain are more than I expected from this little guitar. I have Martins and Taylors and even a couple of guitars I made and this one is running in the same group. For a solid top and laminated wood back and sides its sound is clear and the neck plays well. Finish is great and the deep blue back and sides gives it a cool vibe. Slotted head stock is also classic and Inthink helps add to the sound.Captcham

crackin good wee travel guitar looks good plays well handy for traveljacanderson482012
Bought this as a damaged item to tinker with and see if it could become playable. I could not raise the crushed area around the bridge as it had epoxy poured on so I just used more resin to level it up, sanded and painted, glued a small section of bridge material against the existing bridge to raise the low E string to level, put some silk and steel light strings on and she played fine. Happy to have a great travel guitar for half the R.R.P. I meant high E string of course.nigelw3012

for $350 there's nothing nicer . small body , smooth neck. well worth the money.stev.sir
Overall: Sounds very good. It's my first spruce top acoustic. The body and sides are striking. Tuners have no play in either direction. The S24S is easy to hold, not jumbo or thick. They put on some excellent strings, D'Addario Coated Phosphor Bronze. The surface of the spruce reveals different shades and bright spots, looks textured. The only issue is that the fret ends have a minor edge, but don't notice it when playing. I've had many acoustics and could never get any of them to sound good. The Washburn S24S is an improvement and affordable.Cimmay

A ty co hrály opravdu dobře, byly v cenové kategorii 20.000 Kč a výš.

Reviews:
After lusting over this guitar for awhile, I finally took the plunge. I needed a low-cost replacement for a Taylor T-5 that I sold recently – and I just wanted something for strumming when the urge strikes. Something I call a "campfire acoustic" (and usually found used in a pawn shop). I couldn't believe how great this one looks in the photos EVERYWHERE online, and without sticker-shock! Well I just got mine yesterday and immediately noticed the poor workmanship (crooked tuners and off center nut, etc.), AND the fact that there is NO abalone inlay ANYWHERE on it! The headstock photos of this instrument clearly shows an abalone Washburn logo and medallion AND abalone inlay ring around the soundhole. In REALITY both of these are cheap looking DECALS! The one on the headstock is the worst of the 2 because it's nothing more than a bright white decal under the finish – AND is poorly aligned and off center! The one around the soundhole is at LEAST a low quality photo reproduction of the true abalone as shown in the pics. I'm a self-taught guitar tech (having done all of my own guitar maintenance and customization's since my earliest guitars in my teen years), so making any instrument better-than-factory has always been a given for me. My point is that this guitar has all of the potential that I expected, but I NEVER expected to be mislead! And that's PRECISELY what Washburn is doing with the ad campaign for this particular model of the Festival line. I like it (for the price), so it's a keeper. I just don't appreciate dishonesty from ANY manufacturer. The product photos should reflect only the TRUTH!!Rick
This is an awsome guitar that looks and sounds great. The perfect guitar for the intermediate or entry level guitarist. Even an experienced guitar player like myself (47 years)wont find too much to complain about. What I like is the full sound from the smaller body size. You cannot go wrong with this guitar.wilderbeast 59
I am sixty years of age now and have owned more guitars than I can remember, but this guitar is perfect for me. It is almost as expressive to every nuance of style from harmonics, to soft hand muted picking, to high volume strumming of that of a banjo head. It meets every single requirement for me as a musician, including looks! The blonde version I purchased reminded me so much of a George Benson GB10 I had back in the eighties, absolutely gorgeous fire maple backs and sides. I just dropped by a local music store not even looking to buy, but after playing it for only 10 minutes, I walked it to the counter and bought it. I never even plugged it into an amp! … but the on board electronics are no let down either! Fast and accurate pitch adjustable built in tuner, EQ, Notch, Volume, great sounding amplified as well. I don't know if every single one of these guitars sounds and plays like mine, or if mine is just one of those rare combinations when the universe conspires and all the pieces fall into place to create and result in a perfect instrument, but all I do know is that I am in LOVE with this guitar!!rightfromtheart
8. Washburn Festival Series Acoustic-Electric Guitar Tobacco Burst
Product Details:
Washburn designed the festival series to address the needs of the performing musician and it has succeeded for over 25 years. the festival series was the standard acoustic/electric guitar seen on mtv's unplugged series and has since become one of the best selling and most copied guitars on the market. a comfortable body teamed up with quality barcus-berry electronics, hardware, and fine woods allows the pristine, crystalline highs to blend perfectly with a full, well rounded low end. the ea15's mini jumbo body is easier to play for those that find the larger dreadnought and grand auditorium shapes uncomfortable. the ea15 mj is suited for smaller players, young learners, or musicians looking for the more focused and intimate voice that a small bodied guitar provides. built with a cutaway so that access to the upper frets is a breeze. plug-in ready and pre-equipped with a pre-amp and pickup loaded with features such as an onboard tuner, eq controls and feedback resistance, all from barcus berry, the developer of the first ever piezo crystal transducer for musical instruments in 1963. a tobacco burst gloss finish is applied to this festival ea15 to create an instant classic. the coffee colored fade from dark to light really brings out the character of the wood in its figured maple top.
Reviews:
This is advertised as a florintine in write-up and pictures. The one the shipped me was not a floritine but a rounded cut away. Not sure if this was a production change or what. In spite of quality issues, the sound is beautiful. It has a smaller body than I expected but it still projects nicely. I like the neck feel and the small body make it comfortable to play. If the quality was as good as my last Washburn I would give it a 10. I really like the guitar, but quality is way less than expected based on other Washburn product I have seen. Nice having the tuner built in. I like sliders for controls better than small knobs. Disappointed. Bought for my son. I would return it but he played it and says he wants to keep it. The pictures and writ-up say it is a Florintine cut away. It is not. Nice flame maple top. Resonable fret work. Varnish has some runs and imperfections. Sand marks in neck under the varnish, does not effect play or feel. Also some glue left at some joints and binding less than perfect. Not as well built as my 11 year old Washburn D10CEB was. Hard to beat the price but quality is not what I expected from Washburn.srk
Overall this guitar is fantastic! Perfect beginner sized guitar that I will enjoy for years to come! First and formost I would like to state that this guitar is exactly like shown in the picture above. As you can see in the above picture the body comes to a curved edge by the cutaway not a sharp one making it a venetian body style not a florenine like stated in the discription! Other then that, the onboard tuner is really cool with its LCD screen and tuning nobs (not sliders)! The light D'Addario strings sit close to the fret board making this a very easy to play guitar! All wood work is incredible and looks beautiful!! Only thing I see that could possibly be wrong is the white binding on the neck has some hairline cracks right under the fret bars but every guitar I have played has these! Outside of that, the quality of this guitar is awesome! There are no runs, left over glue, scratches or anything! The flame top looks amazing and is absolutely flawless! Very deep shine and the internals look pristine! Very, very good quality as you should expect from a Washburn guitar! Tough to beat the value of this guitar with the quality and beauty of this instrument!

Hands down, Washburn gives the best bang for the buck in guitars. I hobby in repairing/building guitars and was very impressed with the quality of this guitar. You could pay a couple hundred dollars more and get something not as good. I have bought other Washburns and continue to be impressed with their products. One was a Washburn steel string Mahogany acoustic. I set it up with a new, bone nut and saddle. The $150 guitar now plays like a $1500 one. I gave it as a gift to my brother and still marvel when I pick it up. Anyway This C5CE clssical is another great product.aleface781
The guitar came promptly within a few days. I haven't found any flaws in this guitar. Action is nice and low with no fret buzz. Came with a nice long cord and truss rod tool. I registered the warranty which i have never had any problems with Wasburn customer service. The electronics amplify all strings evenly. The built in tuner works spot on. The look and quality of this guitar is very nice.reagle63
So I was looking to get the Ibanez GA35TCE or This Washburn classical guitar. Acoustically both guitars are nice except that the Ibanez was a bit flat from G-E nylon strings. It also had a buzz in the bridge that I did not like however the electrics of the Ibanez were flawless, clean and no hum or hiss. Now the Wshburn, the guitar is a beautiful guitar, nice finish and well made. Acoustically the tone is clearer and more balanced throughout all 6 strings compared to the Ibanez. The ibanez probaby could do with better quality strings to fix the flat sound issue. The Washburn has very good sustain and resonance such that at times other strings start resonating and dirtying the sound – especially when playing solo sections. This may be fixed with a new set of higher end strings which I will chnage after I use the ones that came with it or changing the bridge and nut to graphtech. Maybe I'll switch in the future. The electrics are ok. The electric pickup reporoduced the guitar sound pretty well except that there is a lot of Hiss with the BBand system. The pickup has treble, mid and bass EQ plus a presence knob where you can mold the tone as youplease. It also has a built in tuner that work well. So I sent back the Ibanez and kept the Washburn. The tonal character was much better. If the ibanez goes as a SDOTD sale dirt cheap I will pick it up just because of the cleaner pickup system.Afee

Reviews:
for $350 there's nothing nicer . small body , smooth neck. well worth the money.stev.sir
