The washburn n2 electric guitar was designed with the benefit of top guitarist nuno bettencourt's extensive knowledge of luthiery. this washburn n-series guitar has an extremely fast maple neck with the easy access stephen's cutaway for upper fretboard acrobatics. comes equipped with a washburn neck position humbucker and a bill lawrence l-500 pickup in the bridge position that are powerful and packed with great tone and a wide frequency range. the floyd rose-licensed trem system keeps in tune no matter how wild the whammy bar action. washburn includes a gig bag with the n2 electric guitar. check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.

I have been wanting an N4 for the past 20 years. I'm so glad that I finally decided to go for it. I can honestly say that this is one of the nicest guitars I have ever owned. True, there is no fancy top wood or finish. It is the tele of the super strat world. It's a cutting board with strings and a Floyd Rose trem. The fit and finish were all superb. It just feels so good in your hands. Like that old pair of boots that just hug your feet in all the the right ways, and makes you smile. This guitar wants to be played fast. The neck is super comfortable and did I mention fast?!!? Unplugged, the guitar sounds warm and balanced. Plugged in, it snarls and bites and cuts like a knife. It is both thick and biting all at the same time. The Bill Lawrence USA L500 bridge pickup is it's own unique thing. Its a humbucker that has some of the tonal properties of a single-coil pickup. That upper high end stringy quality. You'll either like it, or you won't. (A simple thing to change out if you don't) The Seymour Duncan 59n in the neck sounds very sweet and warm, without being muddy in this guitar. Ultimately, this is an extremely nice guitar. It is utilitarian in its design. A one stop rock machine. However, it is so much more. I am super impressed with the attention to detail. Everything is exactly where is should be. Exactly how is should be. The most honest assessment I can give is that it feels like a professional guitar.Joel

This is my first Washburn, and this Michael Sweet Signature Parallax V is a complete Shredder. The neck feels great and the tone is right on. PRO: This is a fine guitar. Good tuners, great pickups, a fast and friendly neck (not "chunky" at all, and more comfortable than typical Fender neck). The neck PUP sounds slightly more full than typical single-coil, but still "Stratty." The middle PUP will give you "Sultans of Swing" or "Sweet Home Alabama." The humbucker is POTENT. You'll want to lower it as per distinctive power jump when you switch to it, but it has some very distinctive voicing. I am delighted when I switch it on, and the humbucker was not a main reason for buying this axe. CON: This axe does NOT look like Washburn pictures – at all. Their pictures show a very distinctive orangey-brown color with grain accents that look very much like Flamed Maple. The reality is a maple-syrup-brown fade. If you are expecting that flamed-maple look, it's not even close. This is misleading (if not deceptive) on the part of Washburn (view pictures on Amazon or elsewhere too). Erik Bothwell from Sweetwater was very understanding when I contacted them about this, but it seems there is no remedy. I fault Washburn, and I'd say the pictures on Sweetwater are closest to actual. If UR okay with a plain brown-fade finish, everything else about the guitar is on-par with ST-style guitars in the $500 range.

Washburn lyon li15 2010 6-string electric guitarmodified and partly refurbished1xvolume, 2xtone, 3-way toggle and killswitchthis guitar came in to my possession in very poor quality and i put my best effort into restoring as much as possible. aside cleaning and polishing, i refinished the neck with a tung oil finish making feel as close to raw wood as possible, i scraped the fingerboard and applied oil to restore the wood, i also installed new tuners, a new bridge, 2 paf humbuckers and wired everything together cleanly. i did full set up as well including string action and intonation. this guitar is currently set-up for e standard and now plays beautifully without issue and feels great. aside from a few flaws in the finish, this guitar plays like new.
