Powers up everything on my sub board, fits nicely and does what it should. Only concern was the Talkbox (18V, 1000ma) but it seems to work just fine! I powered up everything simultaneously (never would happen in a performance) – all lights stayed bright & no sound degradation or noise.Mojodelic

It is doing a good job of powering my pedal board. It is small enough to fit under my rather low PedalTrain Metro 20. All the power leads are 90degree to linear. It would have been better for users with small boards to have some 90 to 90 degree. I think small / low profile boards are what this relatively low depth power supply is aimed at, so probably a bit of an oversight on the manufacturers part.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
Started my 1st pedalboard, this year. Searched through a lot of power supplies and settled on the MXR. Since pedal boards are a never completed project, I should have opted for a larger unit with more outlets, as I'm maxxed out on power supply now. But thats the process. It would be nice if there was an on-off switch on this.
I recently delved back into the world of pedalboards by building one to accommodate my setup, which rarely exceeds 8 pedals. Having previously used a daisy chain, which met my needs for the time, I decided it was time to upgrade and get something a little less messy and could guarantee noise reduction because, hey…gigs and electrical interference varies as much as cloud shapes. Besides, I disliked the clutter and eyesores it created. But with this present economy and the need for minimal intrusion on my board, a pricey and bulking power supply looked less than appealing. Then the knowledgeable salesman showed me this gem. It was a true power supply, sleek, light, perfectly matched for my eight 9v pedals, fit snug and out of sight and best of all, didn't break the bank. When I fired it up, there was zero noise. I cranked it with my P90s through a Blues Jr…the only noise was what I played. I love it. As my pedals increase, so will my power needs. I will happily get another one.Billy

I fretted and researched and watched reviews on YT… finally pulled the trigger on an MXR iso power source. I only run a few pedals. Never really got into the giant pedal board thing. The MXR M238 is way more than I will ever need or use. I bought it to give the few pedals I do have a quality isolated power source. I was using a power all which works great for a couple of low power consuming pedals. The MXR M238 is a quality piece of gear and I highly recommend it. It has two adjustable plugs that range from 6-15v which is awesome for those pedals that can take variable voltage without blowing up. With the variety of power plugs available it is super flexible and I feel certain this would power a large board if you daisy chained maybe 2-3 of your low power consuming pedals to a higher mA plug. There's so many options with this unit, that was the deciding factor for me when buying this. It's built like a tank in an all metal enclosure. It came with extra DC power cables. The biggest surprise is how small it is. It isn't much bigger than your average size effect pedal.mathewsguitarworks
After researching the various pedalboard power supplies, the ISO-Brick seemed to offer the best bang for the buck for me. It has a generous number of isolated DC outputs (10 total). I was particularly impressed that there was a generous range of amperage ratings for the 6 dedicated 9V outputs that were available (2x100mA, 2x300mA and 2x450mA). While the 100mA outputs are adequate for overdrives and some other analog pedals, the 300 and 450 mA 9V outputs are particularly helpful for driving digital pedals. I have a variety of TC Electronic pedals, so the additional amperage compared to competing products was an important selling point for me. The ISO-Brick also offers two 18V/250mA outputs, which works great for my Pigtronix Tremvelope. There are also two variable voltage outputs (6-15V) rated at 250 mA. Each of these two outputs have a tiny pot to adjust the voltage and the only marking between 6-15V is for 9V. I would have preferred at least one dedicated 12V output at greater than 300mA to drive my TCE Nova Repeater. Instead, I am using a 9V 450mA output for the Repeater. The lower voltage limits the headroom the Repeater but it is rated from 9-12V and seems to work fine. My ISO-Brick came with ten 26-inch end-to-end DC supply cables. These cables seem to be reasonably good quality. Given the variety of outputs and the potential for confusion when connecting a bunch of pedals, color-coded cables and outputs would have been a nice touch but a little bit of colored electrical tape did the trick for me. I also appreciate that the ISO-Brick has a bright blue LED for each output to verify each is connected to a pedal. All in all, I am very pleased with the ISO-Brick. It does its job for minimizing noise and allows you to connect up to 10 pedals.Victor
I am running several pedals into my half stack Vai Legacy tube amp and getting a hum mainly from my boost pedal and compressor/sustain pedals. I bought a Furmin power conditioner and then the iso brick but still have a hum. I guess Ill just have to get a noise gate? (my old one died, maybe from too much noise! Lol). I researched several isolated power supplies and I believe this is a good value, but didnt solve MY problem. It may solve yours, but its hard to recommend something that didnt help me.imwrenscott

Product Details:
Dave friedman designed his power grid 10 pedalboard power supply to elicit optimum performance from your effects while eliminating some issues he had with other similar designs on the market. you'll find 10 x 9-volt outlets that are rated at 350ma each. that is more than enough power for most of today's power-hungry pedals. and friedman paid special attention to ensuring the power grid has absolutely zero field and proximity hum. you can even mount your favorite old-school fuzz right on top of the unit. with 10 isolated, high-current 9-volt outputs, the power grid 10 is perfect for complex pedal rigs. each output offers 350ma for power-hungry pedals. the power grid 10 exhibits zero field hum for a dead-quiet guitar rig, and universal power means you can use it anywhere in the world without an external transformer.

Overall: I bought this as an upgrade from a one spot daisy chain and oh boy what a difference. This vastly improved the tone of every single pedal I plugged into it. I run 6-8 pedals: overdrives, vibe (18 volts), fuzz (some center positive) and delay. Everything sounds richer. I like the reverse polarity cables for some Fulltone fuzzes and the 18-volt adapter for my vibe unit. Can’t go wrong with this product. I was planning on selling a bunch of pedals before I bought this because they didn’t sound that great, but turns out the power supply was the issue.Mike

I bought my first CS-6 to use with my Pedatrain Nano+. The slim profile fits perfectly under the board. Buying another one for my DIY medium size board that also has a low profile. The layout and mix of power ports (selectable 9v, 12v, 18v) is really flexible for providing isolated power to a combination of analog and digital pedals. The included set of power cables is perfect. Installation was a breeze with the included drill template.Steve from NJ
Having used Voodoo Lab power supplies for years, this is the first True Tone supply with isolated power that I've had. I bought it for the low profile which allows it to be mounted under pedaltrain Nano and Metro boards. It's got 6 9v DC outlets, with some options for 12v and 18v (2 switchable to 12v, two to 18v), and comes with a bunch of cables and adapters. Two of the adapters will power 500mA each, which cover the hungriest digital pedals, like the Strymon, two will power 200mA and the other two 100mA. I've just rigged up a practice pedalboard with 6 pedals, and there are no noise issues at all – so the isolation is working perfectly for me. It comes with screws and a drilling template for mounting, but you can just velcro it on the underside of your board if you prefer. It feels really solid, so the build quality looks great too. I reckon this is the best low profile power supply on the market, and it was also cheaper than the other options I considered.Reviewed by Andertons Music Co.
I bought a Mono Pedalboard Lite and wanted a power supply that would mount to the board but not so thick that it would hold the board up off the floor. This CS6 is thin enough for that. And it has more than enough power outlets to handle all the pedals I could possibly fit on my board. Major props for being able to solidly mount this to my board. It came with the 3 screws that were needed and a cardboard template for drilling the holes in my pedalboard to have it all lined up. No relying on sticky Velcro or other cheesy solutions. My power supply is screwed to my board. It's not going anywhere.StuartV

Reviews:
As I crammed more and more pedals on to my pedal board over the last few months, it was fast outgrowing the mini 5-output power supply I had purchased for it. When I saw this unit with 8 power outputs, a light went off in my head and I thought, why not battery-powered? After a bit of modification to my pedal board, I was able to mount it and power up the board – all systems go! Mission Engineering products have a great reputation for quality, so no worries on that end. I haven't used it long enough to know exactly how long the battery will last at full charge, but they supply you with a decent adapter/charger so that's a nice fallback method of powering the board. Mission seems to have thought of everything on this product. The only thing I need to remember now is to turn it off when I'm done. 🙂

Cioks knocks it out of the park with having 7 independent and powerful power provision. I can power several big pedals like the timeline, bigsky, h9, and more. On top of that, this kit comes with several incredibly useful power adapters. I wont name any brands, but 3 of the other major pedal power solutions give like 8-12 normal power cables and maybe 1-2 specialty cables. This unit came with like 10 normal cables, 2 multi tap pedals, 3-4 eventide rated pedals, negative and positive center cables, etc… What this product does requires 3-4 add on kits from other brands to make up a portion. Its small and has been solid as a rock.Eric j
Great power supply!!!! I powers everything I have and more! Connections are easily made and it is dead quiet. It's light weight and easily fits my Pedal Train Pedalboard. I've gotten rid of all my wallwarts and the power strip i had velcro'd to the bottom of my board (more weight reduction). So far, it's working great and lights up beautifully! Very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend it.jhfuzzpedal

Best buy. Consigliatissimo.

15. Walrus Audio Aetos 120v (8-Output) Power Supply
Product Details:
Read carefully i've listed this item as "fair" because it has one issue that effects the functionality of it. one of the 250ma outputs has acted with sporadic consistency (i've indicated it with a piece of tape and an arrow in the fourth picture). on occasion, the pedal that's plugged into this particular output will randomly turn off. i tried swapping different cables and pedals and it always seemed to act up. however sometimes it would have no problems at all, and i could have it powered on for hours at a time. all the other outputs work just fine. it's just one that acts up. unfortunately i needed all 8 outputs so i have to sell it. if i had a smaller board i would have kept it since everything else works just fine. one of the screws on the backplate doesn't match the others. i am including the 5 cables that are pictured. i don't have any other cables or accessories to include.

Bought unit new. Stayed on pedalboard for home use. Power input jack is intermittent after just 2 years light use. Power comes on and off depending on how hard you breathe on the cord. Tried several different cords and still same issue. Unit totally unusable at this point. Should have bought voodoo lab and so should you.72telecasterthinline
The Walrus Aetos Power supply Is the best one I have found so far. It really does make a difference in the sound. I AB'd it with a week known wall wort with a daisy chain with 5 effects. There was an audible noise signal. Using The Walrus, zip. Totally silent. At $169 it's not cheap, but if you use a lot of effects it's definitely worth the price. You won't be disappointed!squankman
I purchased the Aetos power supply and was extremely impressed with the build quality, effectiveness and the beautiful packaging. The sticker and guitar pick were very tasteful additions to the power supply, which itself came in with an amazing eagle design. There's a ton of life packed into this thing even though its just a power supply! Works flawlessly, and I'm very happy it includes the center positive cables

Had to downsize from a Truetone CS12 as i moved from a PT2 board to metro 16. This power brick has just as much juice and is silent too. Plus will work fine if i go back to the big board because I can just pick up the expansion kit had have another 5 outlets linked to this one! No brackets or way to mount to the metro series without using cable ties. leaves very little room under the board but thats not an issue related to this power brick, just something to consider if using the metro series of boardsluke
I mostly play at home and I keep my pedal on a shelf. This power supply is small enough to fit perfectly. It also pretty to look at! I run compressor/boot and several digital pedals (strymon and meris mostly) and have no problems with noise. The nice thing is that if I would need more outputs I can buy an extension which will run through the same power supply. Neat.
I already have a large Strymon power supply and wanted something small for a desktop practice setup with a few pedals. With splitters this could power quite a few pedals from the five outputs, each output provides a massive 500mA of current! With the usual PMT service and fast delivery this power supply was an awesome purchase.Daniel M.

So good I bought two. Excellent choice.Ric P.
This thing is just TOO KEWL! Charged her up and stuck her on the bottom of my Petaltrain nano with a Shure GLX-D16, ADA PBF Flanger, & Hartke Bass Chorus. That was a couple of days ago, been playing my Fender American Bullet bass for hours and hours! Still have not had to recharge it. Love this little jewel! Just plug a cord from the last pedal to the amp, hit the power switch and play. Doesn't get much better than this!missingu

first off, don't expect to rely on the daisy chaining. The multi-link cable that attaches to the main power source is a very flimsy connection–a slight pull of your foot will dislodge the connection. Also, the prongs on the power source itself tend to slip out of power outlets. It does have a good use, though. I run the main cable into a Boss TU-2 pedal, and then I use a Boss daisy chaining cable to supply my other pedals. Some of the adapter cable supplied are also good, as they also work with the Boss daisy chaining cable. But as a standalone power supply—watch out.rockon-nCWcG

I purchased this power supply to power a couple of TC Helicon pedals as well as a couple of boss pedals and a guitar tuner, the 9v outlets can handle several regular pedals and I use the two 12v outlets for the TC Helicon pedals , everything works great and it is super quiet great product !
I use this on my pedalboard to power a Shure receiver, Line 6 DL4, Strymon Deco and Leslie pedal. Works as it should.2manyguitars
