Best Guitar Hero Setlist (2024 Update)

I used to play Guitar Hero when I was a teen so it's cool to be able to play it with my kids, and now on the Wii! (Didn't have the Wii back then LOL.) The graphics are really good and overall it has definitely improved since the earlier versions. Tons of great song choices and fun for the whole family to play. No issues at all being refurbished, can't even tell.maddiegirl

Why I bought it… Because of the free GH: Van Halen offer. Had it not have had that I would have just waited until the price dropped To me the setlist is bad and I figured GH:Mix would do the same thing the others did. I didn't think it would be any better than Guitar Hero World Tour GH:WT and definitely not as good as GH Metallica GH:M. I was right, again the song list had the worst choice of songs with the exception of 3 Doors Down, Iron, Maiden, and Bon Jovi. As for the graphics there quite a bite better than any of the others. The create a rocker is almost the same as in the past. Lot's of custimazation but very few decent hair choices. The chothes all all the same, might and I stress might be 2 or 3 new peices. But overall same old same old.. The competitive games are ok if you can play someone as good as you are you will have a blast. But for me it still gets old fast. I haven't tried the online portion of the game so I will not judge how that is. GH Mix: I thought for sure GH:M's GH Mix would not be beat. I am supprised to say I am wrong, for the most part. They almost out did them themselves on this. There needs to be more Metal tones, it's only got 2 good ones. I think there are way too many clean and oddball tones. They removed too many Keyboard tones as well. Back to the guitar though if you have GH:WT or GH:M I am sure you know what happens when you do quick power cord changes, you get that choppy cut sound. That was the only thing I had against GH:M's GH Mix and figured this one would be no different. I am very happy to say I was wrong. I tried everything I could to make it mess up but failed epicly. It isn't without problems though. After watching some videos on youtube of other peoples songs and thought that you could have power chords and lead on one chart, which would have been really cool. Sadly another dissapointment, all you can do is activate other notes so it just looks like you played the power chord. So that is an all but useless feature. GHTunes… Is like grass that never gets mowed… It would be half way neat if 99% of it wasn't crap… All you find on there is immpossible this or to hard that… GHTunes should have a "Remove it" feature where if the song gets enough of those votes it should be permemently removed from GHTunes… That would save alot of space and let all the good ones be heard. And thats pretty much it for my review of Guitar Hero 5. Ill end it with an over all rating on some of the aspects. Scale is 1 to 5 with 5 as best. Presentation: 3 Reminds me a lot of the older Guitar Heroes. Some new game modes but thats it. Graphics: 4 Very good graphics easily there best. The fret boards suck though. Its the same thing for all characters unlike the older GHs which where different. Gameplay: 2 Same old, same old, play each song once which is okay with me 96% of the songs I could only stand to play once anyway but it is getting old, Rock Band is far better. Sound: 3 Its only getting a 3 from me because it has Bon Jovi, Iron Maiden and 3 Doors Down on it. You can also play the DLC from GH:WT. Other than that this setlist should be balled up thrown in a rocket and shot into the sun. Lasting Appeal: 2 For me it's an epic failure the only thing that will keep me playing which is once every other week is GH:Mix and DLC. If you like all of the songs then youll not get board. Guitar hero 5 is an average game from the GH series however it is a Lot better than others such as the most recent Worriors of rock. The game doesn't come close to tendon numbing games such as Metallica but does have a good selection of toe-tapper songs and maybe even get your head banging. The guitar is probably the best part of the bundle pack. It amay not look as cool as the Gibson or Worriors of Rock Axe guitar but unlike those guitars, it does come with the "neck slide" feature (same as the Metallica bundle) which I personaly think should come with all the guitars. It gives another dimension of game play and slightly more sense of realism and adds a bit more of a challenge for all ranges of gamers. All in all, I would recommend this game/bundle because of the above however if you don't already own one, I'd say get the Metallica bundle instead and find GH5 (second hand) to purchase on its own. It would probably work out a lot cheaper this way than if you were to buy Metallica seperately instead. There's great "battle" modes against some real guitaring legends. The songs are from a wide range of bands (mainly picked by Mettalica themselves) and are by far the best variety (and challenging) of all of the Guitar Hero games I've played so far.thatcherl

I got a great deal on my copy on ebay and love it for that fact. I have been an RockBand fanatic from the get-go and actually bought Guitar Hero: World Tour with very dissappointing results. However, THIS game was something I really wanted to have. With the RockBand / GH cross compatibility with equipment, made this purchase an easy one and something that was cheap enough not to require an entire switchover to a whole other game franchise and their gear. I had been initially worried since this game had been given away as a 'promotional copy' for free along with advance purchases of GH5. So I had always been eyeing auctions to find a copy for about half the cost of the GH5 purchase price (assuming the person wasn't a VH fan). I knew that I was going to try and spend around $30. I ended up winning a full copy and can verify that there is no difference, other than a lack of case and booklet in the promo version. Like many reviewers have mentioned, the game lacks a few things, like even using 'younger' versions of the VH members and the exclusion of some select songs. But all in all, I have to admit, for the master tracks and the ability to play along with some of what I consider the absolute classics of VH, it is well worth the price of admission. I love drumming 'Jump' and 'Ice Cream Man' is pretty sweet… I certainly wouldn't reccommend running out and buying a full copy of it off the shelves, for like $60-70, but securing a copy for under $30, regardless of whether it is a promo version or not, will not affect your enjoyment of the game. One word of advice I might throw out though is if you ARE a GH fan and own most fo the game. Do make sure you ask the seller if they've used the import code or not, if you plan on merging this VH library into your existing main game (GH5? GHWT?) Only because, most might've done this and are dumping the game for cheap, forcing you to play this as a stand-alone. I didn't care either way, as this is the only GH game I own or will play. Don't waste you money on the PS2 version, it is a piece of junk! Bought this game brand new and it keeps freezing up. I can play a few songs in quickplay mode, but after a few songs it freezes up when trying to load another song. I could not play career mode because it freezes up when trying to load it. Activision(the maker of the game) claims that my PS2 is in need of repair, but I don't have any problems playing any of my other hundred games. Also, if you check out the reviews of this game on Walmart.com you will see that many others have had the same problem I've had! Their PS2s work fine except for when trying to play this game. Activision is just like all the other big companies – let's blame someone else so we make a profit on a piece of junk. Don't waste your time or your money on the PS2 version!!!!!!!!!!!!!!bolts89

There is a reason why Activision was giving this game away for free for people who bought Guitar Hero 5. It's not a good game! First of all, it's missing two vital people who at one time were in Van Halen, namely Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony. The fact that they aren't even mentioned in the game is a slap in the face to them. Instead Eddie's 16 year old son, Wolfgang, takes over on bass guitar, even when you progress in the game and play as the classic Van Halen with Dave's long hair and Eddie's flowing locks as well. And then you look over and there's Wolfie who evidentally discovered time travel and went back to play with them. I guess Michael was sick that night. Another is that you can only create one band at a time in career mode, that's right, ONE band. Not two, not four like you could in Guitar Hero 5. And one more flaw is the choices in songs. I think I could have done without "Stacy's Mom" and another song that sounds weird to be included with Guitar Hero Van Halen. And can someone explain to me why I have to play the keyboards to "Jump" on the guitar?dodgerman5150

Regardless of what the younger people think, Aerosmith was a huge success in the 70s with songs like Combination, No More No More, and Back In The Saddle. The fact that they then reinvented themselves in the 80s and 90s to become as significant a band as they were decades before is proof they are worthy of respect for the full spectrum of their work. That is why I bought this game and I challenge anyone who says the songs are "too easy" and they played it through on expert without problems. The difficulty of these songs and Joe Perry's guitar brilliance makes this a great buy. I agree that the reduced price is worth the wait but I feel that way about all games. I never buy during the craze faze of $50 prices. I have enjoyed working through these songs and even found a new appreciation for the ones I liked less than others (Draw The Line, No Suprize) with the background info in the interviews. I personally would have liked to see additional interview segements as the difficulty increases. I rate this as one of the best of the Guitar Hero series because I have been a fan since 1975. I agree there could have been more songs from "Pump", Nine Lives, etc., but greats like NO More No More are missing as well. Had they been included, this would be a solid 5/5 in my book. I decided to buy this game because first of all this game was cheap and it game with the guitar which is really amazing and a way better upgrade then the guitar hero 3 guitar. The actual game on the other hand is a different story. The game itself actually has some pretty good songs on the game such as, Crazy Train, B.Y.O.B, Hotel California. It also has a music studio which i must say is pretty pointless unless you want to put your entire life into making something you can listen to. But it is fun to play crazy customs people online make. The graphics are also amazingly good everything is a step up from guitar hero 3 including the full band. The one thing i cannot stand about the game is the charts. Some of the songs are so stupidly charted. Not to mention the annoying purple notes which are supposed to help but indeed mess you up. The slide bar on the guitar was supposed to help but its kind of hard to use when you are in the middle of actually using it then all of a sudden it changes back to regular buttons. Rockband has actually got that part down. The singing on the game is pretty hard to the free form sections in vocals is idiotic. Because you have know idea what to sing and how to sing it. Also another error is you can't get a 100% on the song with vocals, which I have heard they have fixed in future games like Guitar Hero: Metallica, and Guitar Hero: Smash Hits. I have yet to experience the drum set. But i have heard the pads out of the box had problems with it. But this game is an Average to Below Average. I bought the guitar pack also before this. My guitar strum bar doesn't work from that one and the slide bar strums automatically. I bought this set for the drums and guitar, thinking it was just the individual controller's mistake last time. It works fine, but after maybe a half an hour of having it on, the strum bar strums for you in the game. The drums seem to have sensitivity problems, which can be fixed, but is very frustrating. The game is fun, but some songs seem very long and then at the very end, get hard; now, you've wasted about 6 minutes just to fail it. The presentation and songs, in my opinion, are not up to the standard Rock Band 2 set, especially with the abundance of downloadable content which personalizes the game more than fun, yet low quality song creation. The game looks great graphically, but the note track is small and looks less professional. The notes turn all the same color during a star power sequence, and if playing the drums without being used to the set-up, it can be somewhat confusing. I'm not sure about Rock Band 2's controllers compared to these, but my original Rock Band controllers are still functional. Three drums cracked, but hits still register, and the whammy bar is broken, but still can be used. Although the GHWT controllers can be sent in for a replacement, it is much easier just to avoid the game. Overall, the game is fun. Without some of the problems faced, most importantly the lacking hardware, this would be a great game.superunknown9

Anyone who has ever played any Guitar Hero title for an extended period of time will invariably come across a song that completely owns them. I'm not talking about a Pat Benatar number, or something from the Killers or Nirvana. They're easy. No, the song that will have you staring in fear at a wall of notes while your rock meter goes into the red faster than ACC will almost certainly be metal, and extremely heavy at that. The reason you never got past hard on Guitar Hero III was because of Slayer, not Santana. Overjoyed as we were with the news last year that Metallica would not only contribute a bunch of their songs for a band-exclusive Guitar Hero title, we were far more interested to see just how developers Neversoft would deal with the difficulty level. World Tour and Aerosmith were noticeably easier than Guitar Hero III, the former going as far as to require much more accurate tracking for hammer-ons and pull-offs, the latter – well, Aerosmith could be described in a lot of ways, but "brutally hard" would not be one of them. Before we get to what it's like to play, it's worth noting just how inclusive this title is when it comes to Metallica lore. The band members were involved in every step of the development, with James Hetfield personally laying down the basic idea for the Career Mode storyline. This is based on a group of fans who followed Metallica around on tour in the early 1990's. It's important to realise that career progression is not done in chorological order like Aerosmith – Metallica vetoed that suggestion, and it's just as well. In a game called Guitar Hero Metallica you'd think there'd be well more Metallica songs. Only about half the songs in the game are from Metallica the other from artist "inspired" by Metallica. It's said Metallica hand picked the other artist in this game but who knows. It's just really disappointing the Metallica games in this song be they their greatest hits or just some random ones are really fun to play. It's such a thrill with the music blaring and rocking out with some of your friends to these songs. Even the less famous ones get you going. Say what you will about Metallica but seeing them play live is a thrill. Which in this game you get to be them playing these songs feeling awesome after pulling off some crazy guitar solo or a really hard drum solo. Which is why this game gets so disappointing when you have to play the other songs which have none of the impact that the Metallica songs have. Sadly this is the formula which Guitar Hero follows. They've done it with Guitar Hero Aerosmith with Metallica and most recently Guitar Hero Van Halen. It lessens the experience. Plus most of the other "inspired by" artist songs pale in comparison and cheapen the experience. Hopefully Activision and Neversoft have learned from the dismal sales of Van Halen and Aerosmith and will try to learn from Mtv games and Harmonix success with The Beatles: Rock Band. Every single song is a Beatles song and there are even full albums you can download to add to your collection something none of the previously mentioned guitar hero games have. If you can find Guitar Hero Metallica for about 25 to 30 bucks its definitely worth the price but not for more then that. In the end it hits a great note when playing the Metallica songs then takes a dive when it forces you to play the other songs in career mode.ucnyc21

It is the last game in the series to be developed by Neversoft, due to weak sales the Guitar Hero series was placed on hiatus. Warriors of Rock was designed to return to the series' roots (to late), focusing heavily on lead guitar and towards the existing base of skilled players of the series. The game features a remade career mode called "Quest" set to a story influenced by heavy metal and narrated by Gene Simmons. Part of the story is influenced by the lyrics of the song "2112" by Rush, who narrate this portion of the game, while the finale is set to a new song performed by Megadeth and written by Dave Mustaine specifically to challenge Guitar Hero players. The game features 93 songs on disc, and compatibility with existing exportable songs and downloadable content from several previous games in the Guitar Hero series. Highlights the "2112" segment and the game's improved Quickplay+ mode, but a lackluster Quest mode's story and the lack of focus within the soundtrack. There was a tear on the box (which I assume happened during the shipping process), but it was packaged well enough that nothing broke. I was surprised when I found a USB adapter inside the guitar. More than I was expecting, but I already had one, so I have a spare now I guess. Plays perfectly, a bit squeaky, but that's about it. Easily recommended purchase for those looking for a plastic guitar. Although I wouldn't anticipate getting more than just the guitar, I guess I was just lucky.virgijalo_0

This game is the best guitar hero game ever, and that's including the new one that have out for the XBOX ONE. The graphics is the best of the series (before the XBOX ONE because of course that game is the best since it's just "live people"), the songs are great also. You really get a large variety of different music and it's A LOT of songs to play through. I love that you can customize your character and you just have a lot of options to choose how you want to play. If you like your music note hitting games, THIS IS A MUST HAVE.roosoraida

For fans of the Guitar Hero series, this is by far one of the best in that series. Excellent setlist, excellent gameplay. In previous GH titles, you had to unlock all the songs by completing a certain number of songs in different locations. IN Gh 5, all the songs are unlocked and ready to play in Quickplay mode. The bonus battles in Career mode have you playing against the likes of Zakk Wylde, Billy Corbin, and Carlos Santana. Great game to kill time with, especially when you play "Do You Feel Like We Do?", which is about a 14 minute song. Great graphics and decent load times. So there's a few things I liked about this game. They changed the guitar so that way for people like me who can't reach the orange button, now I can reach all the buttons on the guitar. There's the regular version to unlock all of the songs they have Guitar Hero TV where people can play online and you can play other songs then the ones on the game. The reason I only have it 3 stars is the actual guitar itself. My guitar was not working well so we returned it and got a newer one. This one now the strum doesn't really work that well at all. Sometimes down works and it doesn't. So majority you have to strum up but, again works sometimes. Now it has to be returned a second time. So for an anticipated game, game was awesome. The equipment on the other hand needs work.nicole.f

Will have to say I was surprised by this game. Being a long time player of the guitar hero games and mastering them to a high level I thought this was going to be a breeze. I was wrong. The 6 button layout is rather deep allowing complex chords at higher difficulties and the overall game play is fun and adds a new dimension to the genre. I thought i wasn't going to like the realistic visuals approach but this didn't matter in the end as the actual story mode this is used in is really short and can be completed in a few hours. The GHTV mode is where I have had the most fun as playing the random collection of songs was keeping me entertained and has a much larger selection of music which is going to be added to over time. The only problem with this mode is its free-to-play model. Where you need to earn coins to buy plays to play the songs you want otherwise you have to wait for them in rotation. This may sound horrible but its not too bad in the beginning as plays are easy to earn as your low levels increase. But after about level 10 you will have to rely on the coins to be able to get your plays. Overall I enjoyed the game and if they keep adding new music to GHTV to play whilst earning coins to play the songs you want, this model isn't too bad. I would recommend this to anyone looking to play a new guitar hero game, but if your all about playing the same songs over and over to increase your score and go for perfect runs it might not be the title for you.Bawhawhaw

This is a great game! I'm 30 now, so I don't have much time for gaming and time wasting, but this is a truly cool game! I find myself playing until my fingers start to hurt badly! This game works your time-spacial skills, putting an effort on your hand and eyes coordination. There is a great psicomotor component in the play, this is not a brain-controlling game that will leave your son brain-less. Give it a shot! Ah! And the songs are great too! I bought this for my daughter, she loves it. This is the PC version which runs well except for hanging up during a song occasionally. It would be nice if it had strings instead of the little paddle, then all your practice could be put to good use on a REAL guitar.terrycoxusa

I bought the guitar pack also before this. My guitar strum bar doesn't work from that one and the slide bar strums automatically. I bought this set for the drums and guitar, thinking it was just the individual controller's mistake last time. It works fine, but after maybe a half an hour of having it on, the strum bar strums for you in the game. The drums seem to have sensitivity problems, which can be fixed, but is very frustrating. The game is fun, but some songs seem very long and then at the very end, get hard; now, you've wasted about 6 minutes just to fail it. The presentation and songs, in my opinion, are not up to the standard Rock Band 2 set, especially with the abundance of downloadable content which personalizes the game more than fun, yet low quality song creation. The game looks great graphically, but the note track is small and looks less professional. The notes turn all the same color during a star power sequence, and if playing the drums without being used to the set-up, it can be somewhat confusing. I'm not sure about Rock Band 2's controllers compared to these, but my original Rock Band controllers are still functional. Three drums cracked, but hits still register, and the whammy bar is broken, but still can be used. Although the GHWT controllers can be sent in for a replacement, it is much easier just to avoid the game. Overall, the game is fun. Without some of the problems faced, most importantly the lacking hardware, this would be a great game.superunknown9

I used to play Guitar Hero when I was a teen so it's cool to be able to play it with my kids, and now on the Wii! (Didn't have the Wii back then LOL.) The graphics are really good and overall it has definitely improved since the earlier versions. Tons of great song choices and fun for the whole family to play. Why I bought it… Because of the free GH: Van Halen offer. Had it not have had that I would have just waited until the price dropped To me the setlist is bad and I figured GH:Mix would do the same thing the others did. I didn't think it would be any better than Guitar Hero World Tour GH:WT and definitely not as good as GH Metallica GH:M. I was right, again the song list had the worst choice of songs with the exception of 3 Doors Down, Iron, Maiden, and Bon Jovi. As for the graphics there quite a bite better than any of the others. The create a rocker is almost the same as in the past. Lot's of custimazation but very few decent hair choices. The chothes all all the same, might and I stress might be 2 or 3 new peices. But overall same old same old.. The competitive games are ok if you can play someone as good as you are you will have a blast. But for me it still gets old fast. I haven't tried the online portion of the game so I will not judge how that is. GH Mix: I thought for sure GH:M's GH Mix would not be beat. I am supprised to say I am wrong, for the most part. They almost out did them themselves on this. There needs to be more Metal tones, it's only got 2 good ones. I think there are way too many clean and oddball tones. They removed too many Keyboard tones as well. Back to the guitar though if you have GH:WT or GH:M I am sure you know what happens when you do quick power cord changes, you get that choppy cut sound. That was the only thing I had against GH:M's GH Mix and figured this one would be no different. I am very happy to say I was wrong. I tried everything I could to make it mess up but failed epicly. It isn't without problems though. After watching some videos on youtube of other peoples songs and thought that you could have power chords and lead on one chart, which would have been really cool. Sadly another dissapointment, all you can do is activate other notes so it just looks like you played the power chord. So that is an all but useless feature. GHTunes… Is like grass that never gets mowed… It would be half way neat if 99% of it wasn't crap… All you find on there is immpossible this or to hard that… GHTunes should have a "Remove it" feature where if the song gets enough of those votes it should be permemently removed from GHTunes… That would save alot of space and let all the good ones be heard. And thats pretty much it for my review of Guitar Hero 5. Ill end it with an over all rating on some of the aspects. Scale is 1 to 5 with 5 as best. Presentation: 3 Reminds me a lot of the older Guitar Heroes. Some new game modes but thats it. Graphics: 4 Very good graphics easily there best. The fret boards suck though. Its the same thing for all characters unlike the older GHs which where different. Gameplay: 2 Same old, same old, play each song once which is okay with me 96% of the songs I could only stand to play once anyway but it is getting old, Rock Band is far better. Sound: 3 Its only getting a 3 from me because it has Bon Jovi, Iron Maiden and 3 Doors Down on it. You can also play the DLC from GH:WT. Other than that this setlist should be balled up thrown in a rocket and shot into the sun. Lasting Appeal: 2 For me it's an epic failure the only thing that will keep me playing which is once every other week is GH:Mix and DLC. If you like all of the songs then youll not get board. Guitar hero 5 is an average game from the GH series however it is a Lot better than others such as the most recent Worriors of rock. The game doesn't come close to tendon numbing games such as Metallica but does have a good selection of toe-tapper songs and maybe even get your head banging. The guitar is probably the best part of the bundle pack. It amay not look as cool as the Gibson or Worriors of Rock Axe guitar but unlike those guitars, it does come with the "neck slide" feature (same as the Metallica bundle) which I personaly think should come with all the guitars. It gives another dimension of game play and slightly more sense of realism and adds a bit more of a challenge for all ranges of gamers. All in all, I would recommend this game/bundle because of the above however if you don't already own one, I'd say get the Metallica bundle instead and find GH5 (second hand) to purchase on its own. It would probably work out a lot cheaper this way than if you were to buy Metallica seperately instead. There's great "battle" modes against some real guitaring legends. The songs are from a wide range of bands (mainly picked by Mettalica themselves) and are by far the best variety (and challenging) of all of the Guitar Hero games I've played so far.thatcherl

I decided to buy this game because first of all this game was cheap and it game with the guitar which is really amazing and a way better upgrade then the guitar hero 3 guitar. The actual game on the other hand is a different story. The game itself actually has some pretty good songs on the game such as, Crazy Train, B.Y.O.B, Hotel California. It also has a music studio which i must say is pretty pointless unless you want to put your entire life into making something you can listen to. But it is fun to play crazy customs people online make. The graphics are also amazingly good everything is a step up from guitar hero 3 including the full band. The one thing i cannot stand about the game is the charts. Some of the songs are so stupidly charted. Not to mention the annoying purple notes which are supposed to help but indeed mess you up. The slide bar on the guitar was supposed to help but its kind of hard to use when you are in the middle of actually using it then all of a sudden it changes back to regular buttons. Rockband has actually got that part down. The singing on the game is pretty hard to the free form sections in vocals is idiotic. Because you have know idea what to sing and how to sing it. The software version that came with our purchase was v1.0. When you insert the disk, the game console checks to see if there's a new version. We played v1.0 while v2.03 downloaded in the background. The game is VERY jumpy and pauses often which made it impossible to play – very annoying! We thought maybe the update download was causing troubles but we had troubles even after the download was complete. The new version 2.03 won't even start!!! I've opened two support tickets with the game manufacturer (not Playstation) and they give me the "reboot and it will work" – not the case. I've updated firmware to the instruments and all kinds of steps to resolve. At this point the manufacturer won't even respond. I was so happy to actually find this bundle. If you can find this during the pandemic for a good price do not hesitate, but it immediately. This has been so much fun for my family and friends. Rockband 4 is the definitive experience on PS4. Guitar Hero Live sucks on so many levels. This however keeps the basic formula fresh! With a better wireless guitar controller (which took me a while to get used to but now I love it!) and updated graphics and effects, Rockband remains true to what made these games so great (unlike GH Live, seriously that game sucks). HOWEVER your enjoyment of all these types of games always comes down to lag compensation, if you haven't got your TV set up just right you're gonna have a bad time. It took me weeks to get mine set up just right, but once I did I was shredding through songs on expert like I was born to it! BE WARNED this is very much a DLC song. The on disc track list is the weakest of any Rock Band/ Guitar Hero game for a long time. I literally only bought this for that one 'Mumford and Sons' and 'The Killers' song :p But after sinking an embarrassing amount of money into downloadable tracks, I now have over 300 songs in my library and it's GREAT! I play this ALL THE TIME! Thankfully, Harmonix have had the best post-game launch support I've seen in ages, with regular game updates that actually improve performance and fix little bugs, and by far the best part is that there has been a CONSTANT stream of new DLC almost every week, with not just old favourites, but a tonne of modern songs that a popular right now! I love checking each week and seeing a song I love hearing on the radio being brought to Rockband 4! Another major downside is that although your old guitar and drum controllers will work with this game, you cannot sign in to an PSN account with them, so your scores will never be saved AND it causes alot of performance issues in band play. I HOPE it's not just a problem with the game like in the previous titles where it works fine when there's only one player, but as soon as you get two people playing it lags and makes you miss notes that you hit. If this is still a problem even if you have all modern controllers then THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! I SHOULD NOT BE PENALIZED WHEN I'M GOING 100% ON A SONG AND JUST BECAUSE MY FRIEND ISN'T DOING SO WELL IT SAYS I MISS NOTES. But other than that the game is incredibly fun. I am totally addicted to this game! Love the songs, I've already beat the game on easy and now working on the medium level. Lots of great songs and so much fun. Love the Run DMC bit, lots of cool cover band songs too. I skipped thru the Aerosmith interviews because I was so anxious to play. I totally "wussed out" on the guitar battle challenge. Even on easy it was way too hard for me. Hate that it actually says that I "wussed out" on that part on my "career". Guess I have to just keep practicing. :)My hands are all cramped up because I just can't put this thing down! You should be reading the list of ingredients, those ingredients after the proteins listed, like: Maltodextrin, Mono- And Diglycerides, Dipotassium Phosphate, Sodium Silicoaluminate, Disodium Phosphate, Silicon Dioxide, Artificial Flavors, Salt, Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium. So I see fats, salts, sugars, artificial flavors, etc. Look them up. To me that's not a 10. So, maybe it tastes good, but how will it help me with my goals…it won't. So many reviews on here are hung up on taste. If a supp taste lousy but works, I'll get it down…but supps shouldn't be about a taste contest. I am so thankful that I found one at such a cheap price and in this great of a condition. This piece was taken care of as far as dust, rust, wear and tear go. And completeness. It was missing the dongle which did make it a good bit cheaper. Thankfully, I had a copy of the same model. The copy that I had, the dongle worked but not the guitar. Good game with older songs. Not much fun on hard lvls with the sweet songs. Normal mode is do able it reminds me of play Simon says, with some good music and it's own little twist. I would recommend this to players if they doing the same thing over and overchristopher.w

Awesome stuff here. You get your favorite music and rock out with your guitar. It’s different from other games because you’re rocking out, standing up and slamming that guitar. A must have especially if you have friends over and go head to head. Love the guitar hero bundles.john.k
