2. Prs Mark Tremonti Mt 1×12 Cabinet
Product Details:
The mt 15 is a commanding two channel amp with balanced aggression and articulation. powered by 6l6 tubes, the mt 15 has a large, bold sound, so you can dig in heavy with rhythms but also get singing lead tones out of one amp. whether recording, practicing, writing, or playing a small room, this amp has everything you need. the mt 15’s design started with heavier players in mind, but in the end, it has a lot to offer players of all genres. like the prs archon amplifier, the mt 15 features five gain stages before the master for full, lush distortion. the gain channel gets big, chunky tone with massive, tight low end, but it never loses its articulate note definition or great lead tone. the clean channel is bright and chimey, good with chords and fingerstyle playing – whether with a pic or not. the clean channel also features a push/pull boost control that adds a little overdrive for old school crunch. no matter what tone you dial in, the mt 15 stays balanced across the spectrum with a sweet, smooth tone that won’t bite your head off. additional features include an effects loop and bias adjusters that are accessible from the back panel for ease of servicing. despite its 15 watts, the mt 15 sounds more like 50, so a half power switch that takes the mt to 7 watts is a welcome addition. bottom line, the amount of features, the hugeness of the sound, and the raw horsepower of the circuit make the mt 15 an impressive lunchbox hero. the mt 15 is mark tremonti’s first signature amplifier.

Reviews:
Paired this with a Hughes & Kettner TM-18 also purchased from AMS. The Celestion V-30 speaker is something I’ve used before and is an awesome speaker for a variety of tones. PRS just makes gear right. The cab is built solid. Cleans are absolutely pure and as you break up the signal the cab projects crisp. It maintains this integrity as you get to “11”. Very impressed but not surprised as it is PRS.Brad E
Considering the reasonable price, I decided to try this cab. I've been playing for about 40 years, but I don't have a lot of experience experimenting with different speakers and cabs. I had been told by many other guitarists not to bother with the new Celestion V-type because it is made in China, yet I just couldn't resist the price. I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised with this cab. I play mostly clean, and sometimes a little overdrive, but never distortion. The cab does sound evenly balanced across the frequency spectrum. For my taste and style, I prefer a bit more scoop in the low mids, and occasionally, the bottom end in this cab is a bit too soft for me, but that could be due to the depth of the cab and not the speakers themselves. I can't speak for how this cab would do with heavy metal or even classic rock, but there are certainly no frequencies that seem to jump out and make the cab sound notched. Also, I like the clarity of the mids. Luckily, I didn't get any mud from this cab, just a nice, smooth balance.sparrow

Reviews:
I bought this cabinet with the intention of beefing up my Hot Rod deluxe which it did. The combination of closed back from this cabinet and the open back of the deluxe resulted in a much more richer sound not to mention that at 4 ohms with the cabinet the amp seems to be more responsive to my playing. It also looks cool sitting under the Hot Rod Deluxe III. It not only sounds great with the Hot Rod but with my 30 watt PRS amp head, a Quilter 200 and boy was I surprised when I plugged in my Mesa Mark IV. Awesome little cabinet for the money. Thank you American Musical Supply.Carlos Perez professional musici
This was bought to add an extension cabinet to my mesa boogie nomad 100. My nomad was a single 12 speaker with an open back cab and needed a little more bass. the sealed fender cabinet was the exact same dimensions and fits nicely under the boogie. Sound was as I expected, bass increase as well as a tight sound from the closed back cabinet. Also raised the nomad to a better overall height. Very happy with my purchase. I did not give it 5 stars for several reasons. 1) made in Mexico which I expected for the price but that is the problem! Speaker jack fell out of the back of the cabinet when I removed the cable. Compared to yesteryear and I have owned a lot of fender equipment construction was much better. To repair the speaker jack and not go through returning the cabinet I opened the back to see what holds the jack in place. Half the screws used to seal the back of the cabinet were to short and already stripped out. There were two different length screws used and none were long enough to do the job properly! They were #6 wood screws so a trip to Lowes for proper hardware about 8 duckets worth of new fasteners (went to #8 wood screws and new finishing washers) took care of the problem. The jack is another issue that will require a large fender washer and a new jack with longer threads. about 6 duckets in hardware to repair properly. The strips of wood that hold the back on are only pressed wood and one side was spilt open from not predrilling holes and forcing the screws to create there own holes when installed. This is a time saver at the factory but poor practice in my opinion! The front baffle that holds the speaker in place was held in with 6 bolts, nuts and washers. All were loose and if I did not retighten these the vibration from the speaker would have caused these all to come apart! So over all construction was less then stellar and about what I expected for the price. Still final quality checks should have caught all of this on the assembly line.Strat Blaster
I bought this to go with a Tone King Gremlin head. I figured a fender speaker would pair well with a fender clone amp. The enclosure is quite nice. The speaker however is not. I did read the poor reviews the celestion 70/80 gets online, they are spot on. This speaker is so shrill I felt like my ears were going to bleed. It has a pronounced mid scoop. Instead of returning I decided I like the fender box enough ( and the reasonable price compared to others ) and bought a different speaker. After swapping the 70/80 with a Eminence Cannabis rex, it really sounds great.Josh B

Reviews:
i got this cabinet about a month ago and so far have used it at two gigs. i have a bugera 6262 head that i purchased it for. i couldn't be more pleased with the purchase. it has searing low's, crisp high's and a mid punch that cut's through the mix on solos. the ohm switch allows you to play with pretty much any head out there. you can run 4, 8, or 16 ohms, pretty kewl feature. very versatile. you won't find a better cabinet for the price, i would stack this cabinet up against any thing else out there. i gave it four stars because of the handle on top. it's a great handle, but big and bulky. my head would not sit on top of the cabinet with out tetering. it was an easy fix though, the feet on the cabinet are huge about an inch in height, and the feet on my head are about a 1/2 inch in height, but other than that the same size. i just swapped them and no problems now, the head sits just fine on there. over all a great piece of equipment. looks killer, sounds killer.hollywood hig
I used to play through a Marshall 4×12 cab loaded with GT 75 Celestions. I was a heavy amp owing to the fact it had 4 speakers so I wanted something a little lighter and I came across this Bugera 2×12 with the Turbosound speakers. This is an impressive Cab and is versatile. You can run it in stereo or bridged mono, and it's got some great power handling capabilities. The sound is very clear and if you crank up the bass in your amp head or effects, it can get very "throaty". For the money, this is a big bang for the buck. Would definitely purchase again.beautifulloser
Bought this mostly for implementing a stereo setup for live performances. Use it with my Hot Rod Deville. Good sound in stereo operation with the DeVille, but the low end is lacking. It is heavy in the mid range area of the sound spectrum. However the 4, 8, 16 Ohm operating modes are great for the type of different configurations I was looking to using it with. I was thinking the cabinet and the operating modes alone made it a good try, since I can always change the speakers to Celestion or Eminence to get the sound I am looking for. Couldn't build a cabinet of that quality for the price I paid. No lose situation for my needs.Vetteman

Good speaker cabinet… WAY more sound than it looks like it should provide… especially more bottom end than expected!Easy to lift and transport. Sounds great! Nice cabinet! Love the mix of speakers. Nearly perfect… tolex lifting inside the cabinet… nothing a bit of gaffer's tape can't fix but a little unexpected for a new cabinet. As with all Marshall, there is intrinsic value to the name alone…jimsmith
This cabinet is too small for JVM 205H. I bought because I saw the indentions in the cabinet for the legs of the amp head in the picture. Beware these indentions are not in this cabinet. If you just need an ext. cab. and don't care about size then this cab. would work well.Just a player

Reviews:
I use this with my Fender Super Champ X2 head. It's a good cabinet. The closed back brings a lot of oomph to the low end. The speaker, a G12P-80 (aka the "Seventy-80") is a decent all-purpose speaker. I personally find it sounds a tad bright, but it's versatile and cuts through a band mix well. Some day I might upgrade the speaker to a greenback or Vintage 30. The box is well made and not overly heavy. Despite the picture, there is a carrying strap on top. I've gigged this cab for over a year and it's proven durable and 100% reliable. Fender does not make a cover for this cab, but their Blues Junior cover fits it perfectly.Montana Ax-Man
I researched several speakers before buying this one. Everything I listened to was helping me confirm that I prefer Celestion brand. When I looked up the cost of materials I was pleasantly surprised to find that I cannot build the same bottom for its retail price. It's a perfect match for the Fender Super Champ X2 HD. I'm pleased with the speaker and the amp. My customers love it!Nielsen Custom Guitars

Way lighter than the Ibanez and Marshall 4×12's I used to own back in the day. I use this with a rack power amp and a multi FX pedal from Zoom. Sounds nothing shy of amazing. Originally purchased while living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, back in 2011. Currently living in Tacoma, Washington. Still using this cab. Still loving it. Amazing clarity, and phenomenal bass definition without getting muddy, even in super low tunings and on 7 string guitars, including with sub-optimal string gauge for said tunings. On a side note, a friend of mine still living in FL uses this same cab after I recommended it to him, and he has a Peavey 6505+, all tube head, and he said his $200USD mexican strat played through that setup with this cab at home sounds better than some fancy Jackson with Seymour Duncans he used to test the amp in store (Guitar Center) with the matching cab from Peavey, and an audio engineer mutual friend has confirmed this. These cabs are amazing, hands down. Get. One. NOW!! Thank me (and yourself) later!!Richard G.

Overall: Sounds great! Has a lot of low end and is perfect with the RG1003 head. I've been using it playing shows for the past 6 months and it's never failed me. The only thing that sucks if that it is pretty heavy but the casters that come with it work amazing, It showed up with a little scuff on the side but nothing I was too worried about.Andrew
I plugged this cab into my 1976 Kustom Amp. All I can say is this thing ROCKS, can't believe the clear sounds, not to mention when I kick on the Dimebag Distortion LOOK OUT this Randall cab rocks harder than my Marshall cab, I'll be buying another one and a Randall Head. As always thank you AMS. for perfect service.BADD67
11. Orange Amplifiers Ppc212-V Black Vertical 2×12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet
Product Details:
The orange ppc212v 2 x 12-inch vertical guitar speaker cabinet takes on the classic workmanship that has seen orange cabinets become the industry standard, with a workhorse attitude and timeless style. the ppc212v is orange's first vertical cabinet, which is lightweight and easy to transport without compromising on tonal excellence. solid orange construction to ensure that their cabinets are road-worthy, orange have constructed the ppc212v using 15mm birch plywood, which is light and compact yet as tough as they come. boasting an impressive ability to withstand the rigours of touring life, the cabinet is covered in orange's customary tolex, with reinforced corners to maximise strength for increased resilience. celestion speakers internally, the speakers used are a pair of 12-inch celestion neo creambacks. rather than using ceramic magnets, the speaker is built using a neodymium magnet, making it around half the weight of a traditional design. however, thanks to some technical wizardry by celestion's engineers, the same rich creamback tone is yours for the taking. the same customary low-end punch, warm, throaty midrange energy, and sweetly refined highs are on offers to give your tone the ferocity it deserves. if reliability, endurance and peerless tonal response is a must for you, with the addition of a lightweight and easily transportable design, then look no further than the awesome orange ppc212v 2 x 12 inch vertical guitar speaker cabinet.

Reviews:
Sound: I don't know how they do it, but it sounds excellent. I think this is a great overall cab that can cover just about any style and it's great for someone who plays covers and needs something that spans a lot of ground. Features: Not much as far as features go, it's a cab. I love the look though. Something about that Orange tolex and the psychedelic font that oozes 'cool' to me. Maybe I'm just old lol. If I had to give any negative remarks it would be that there's a slight color difference in the Tolex between the offshore and UK made gear, but it's minor. Ease of Use: Plug it in and adjust your volume. Boom, great sound. Quality: It's still early but this seems really well made. I've watched a few videos on how their UK cabs are made and it's a solid build process. One thing that surprised me was how light it is for a 2×12 plywood cab. It's only about 43 pounds so it's very portable. Value: It's not cheap, but it is in line with other what Western world manufacturers charge for gear that's not outsourced. In other words, it's worth the money to me! Manufacturer Support: I have had a few Orange products over the years but never had to deal with them directly. Seems they crowdsource quite a bit. There are several Facebook groups that have a lot of answers. Their old forums are still up but are only there for reference. The Wow Factor: It's an Orange, and it's orange. You either love that or you hate it lol. I love the look, the sound, and the general cool factor their products give off. I'm sure I'll be buying more of their gear. Overall: For years I've heard people rave about Orange cabs and how great they sound. You can't find an IR pack out there that doesn't have at least one Orange cab in it. I recently picked up the Super Crush 100 head and decided I needed an Orange cab to go with it. To be honest, mostly for aesthetic reasons! I was torn between the 212V, 212OB, and the Super Crush 412. The 212V won out primarily because of size and weight and mostly stellar reviews around the internets. As soon as I plugged it in though, I got it. It just sounds great! The open back with the Neo Creamback's is a great pairing for the music I play which is mostly classic and 90's rock. It pushes and projects without being overly punchy like my closed back 212 V30 cab. Just to see how it sounded I plugged my Carvin V3M into it (Mesa ish style amp) and it cranked out the high gain really well also. I'm really happy with this cab!Allan
First the neo creambacks sound absolutely incredible. They really remind me of my vintage greenbacks in my 4×12. They sound excellent. Don’t worry about them having neo mags. That only makes the cabinet that much lighter. I can easily lift this cab with one hand and move it about. Orange cabs are always fit and finished too notch. Also this thing really sings with my Rockerverb MkIII 50. Just a great vintage tone and super solid construction.
12. Randall Rx412 Cabinet Black
Product Details:
This item was returned in mint condition. it is free of any performance issues, and has no scratches, blemishes, or other cosmetic flaws.randall's rx412 cabinet delivers huge sound that rivals the tone and power of much larger, more expensive boxes. much of its power comes from the 4 – 12" randall jaguar speakers, but throw in the rx tone circuits and it delivers plenty of tight lows and enough top end sizzle to satisfy any metal monster.

Hooked this cab up to an Orange Crush Pro 120 head and was blown away how great it sounded. I played for a few hours I was so surprised. I also decided to run a Bugera head and Marshall head into it just to test the sound, all sounded great. I wish I had bought more than 1 to be honest.Michael
I've always used Marshalls. This year I decided to try Randall, and I'm so glad i did. This cab rocks. Built like a tank, so it can handle road wear, and the sound is lethal. The lows are punchy and rock soild. The highs are spot on for many different styles. However, do not mistaken this for an all styles kind of cab. This cab is ideal for metal…..thank god.Inkd0077
I would have given this 2 stars if it retailed for half the price. Then at least the wood would be worth it. The speakers aren't worth putting in your car stereo unless you actually *like* fizz. They should also tell you that it's smaller than a full size cab so, if you're just getting it to replace the speakers, that won't even work unless you have other mini cabs.Halen

Reviews:
Bought this to pair with my Orange Micro Terror and Micro Dark. I did a lot of research before buying this and I had high expectations based on what i read and heard. I am actually blown away by the quality and sound of this. These little amps can get pretty loud and this cab takes it and can be pushed even more. It has a surprisingly round full sound, doesn’t get fizzy when the gain is cranked. I definitively recommend this, especially if pairing with one of those little Orange Micros. They sound great running through it and they fit perfectly on top.BDub
I paired this up with a Vox BC108 cabinet for a full range sound spectrum and 50watts at 4ohms capacity into a Quilter Interblock 45watt amp. The sound is nothing short of magnificent! warm, deep, rich bass to nice, tight, clear highs that sound like angelic voices. You would not believe the sound was coming from two 8" speaker cabinets. Pair this with a few favorite pedals once in a while and I can practice guitar, 4 string Bass and acoustic guitar all with one rig and very minimal space taken up I my bedroom.

One of the best prices I could find for this item, and a very straightforward process to order.Reviewed by guitarguitar custome
This is a quality made and excellent sounding speaker cab. It delivers a full sound from a single 1×12 cab. The cab is front ported and closed in the back, so the sound is focused to the front. This particular cab has a newer Fillmore Speaker instead of the usual Mesa Black Shadow C90 or Vintage V30 speaker. The Thiele Speaker Cab works well by itself or paired with another 1×12 cab.robervanackoo_0

Just got this cab on a trade and it sounds really good with both my Peavey, as well as the ZT lunchbox, serving as head amps respectively. The enclosure is probably not made out of the finest wood but it feels sturdy and it is fairly heavy for its size, at about 32 lb. I really like the white tolex-looks like the EVH 112 and with the same dimensions( although the EVH will cost you three times more). I might try to match other speakers with this cab in the future, but for now I am happy with the stock one.swingordie

Overall: For the price of the cabinet it's not bad. The quality of the sound has a deeper tone (low end) than a regular 2×12 with high end driver. I believe this is because of the port hole. I do however, like the fact that the measurement is perfect for my Mesa Roadster. I replaced both drivers with a V-30 and made it a huge difference.Dee

Reviews:
I have one of these and the thing is tough that's for sure. I've had this particular one for about 6 yrs or so and Its been all over the place. You can really dial in some great tones with it. The classic line 6 tones are top notch in these pre-usb era models, true grit , smooth, and triply if you're into the acid rock type. Plus if you like earlier Metal this was the amp most young musicians were playing in the late 90's. I kind of prefer it over a lot of other amps strung about that may be because I am familiar with it though I think its because it reminds me of that time era and the sound is comforting . Really, I guess it depends on what you are using it for. Its quick and versatile. But… It is what it is and it will never be a Marshal JCM or one of the Fender Classics there is no substitute for them and they're not trying to be, but its a great intermediate-pro model and for $100 you cant beat these second edition Spiders. Rock on man!!juice_3311
