Better then the genuine article, a lot of super glues just don't do what they advertise for some reason (except glue your fingers-they do manage to do that). I had a broken rubber foot on an old Zenith turntable that couldn't be replaced with a new one, so I glued the foot back together with this, and much to my surprise it was as strong of a bond as I've ever seen on a soft material like rubber. I use it in my model making to hold LEDs into position in the belly of spaceships, etc. and it works great. It holds solid in just a few seconds and takes a few hours to completely cure, but nothing moves once it's set. Also, the bottle can sit with the cap on for months and you can come back to it and it will be just like new. No frozen cap, no crusty nozzle, no gimmicks. It just works and you can use a lot of the bottle. In fact, I have yet to finish my first one and after a year, it's still just like new. I will buy again.Marvin W.

I used your glue to create an aquascape. This is a newer approach to creating a habitat in a marine reef aquarium. Previously, the norm was to arrange rocks to create caves and overhangs, but it was basically a pile of rocks. In recent years, hobbyists started breaking up rocks and using mortar or epoxies to create interesting shapes. I discovered a YouTube that demonstrated using thin super glue. First break rocks into smaller pieces. Smash small rubble to a powder. Join 2 pieces, sprinkle powder into joint, apply thin glue….. Resulting in one solid piece. The resulting structures imitate real reef shapes (see photos) I would suggest your viewing YouTube “BRS Aquascape” and also contacting Bulk Reef Supply. They would be a great outlet for your product. I've only had this product for a few small jobs. It's so far saved my butt well over a dozen times already which makes it well worth it to me. I have an accelerator that I also bought off Gluemasters that I use in conjunction with this product and it really helps with those freak blowouts of the wood and those quick work holds you need in combinations with normal wood glue.Its only downside will be to see how well it stores, i'll be sure to keep track of that.If anything changes i'll be sure to update my review but so far so good- it's already paid for itself in my book.Gabe

Out of my normal hardware stores, Rockler was the only place that had Titebond III in the gallon container. Buying by the gallon saves over half compared to buying the smaller containers. We tested the waterproofness of Titebond III in side by side comparisons with Titebond I by poring a little in some open containers then adding water to see how if they would mix, and then by gluing up some wood scrapes and letting them soak in water. In both cases the Titebond III held up to the water flawlessly. After a month Titebond III is holding the outdoor projects together with no sign of weakness or problems. The only issue was when the dog somehow got some glue on his rear end fur and we had to explain it to my wife. The glue held up well to the hot water, soap and scrubbing in the dog bath. We did not try paint thinner or any other chemicals. The dog did not care but the wife did so I had to endure some good natured ribbing until it wore off after a month or so.Steve

My Grandfather's 1900 Violin had been neglected and improperly stored for about 50 years. The fingerboard had deep groves from excessive playing and the whole bottom of the violin had come apart, and even wooden parts from inside came off. I ordered the Tightbond Hide Glue #5012 because restoration articles suggested it as a glue that should be used for musical instruments and at a later time, if necessary, you could heat the parts glued and safely remove them without cracking or damaging the wood, such as a fretboard, bridge or nut. I was amazed how easily I could work with the glue. A little goes a long way on a Violin. I glued and clamped the entire bottom and associated parts. 24 hours later, I removed the clamps and it looked like new. Then I removed the fretboard and replaced it with a new one, clamping it again for 24 hours with success. I had gotten some glue on my hands and some had gotten on the edge of the Violin while I was working on it, but as soon as I installed the clamps, I was able to wipe off the excess glue with a dampened rag and it also came off my hands easily with soap and water. This is the best glue that I have ever used. I am extremely happy with the results. I was happy with Titebond I & II. Both are great products. My daughter wanted me to make some butcher block counter tops for her kitchen and bathroom. The wood pieces are 3/4" X 1 3/4" nice thick counter tops. I figured I better use the Titebond III. It is for exterior and is water proof. I was very happy with the spread ability and the amount of open time I had. I used the Rockler roller glue bottle and it went smooth and fast. I wiped all the surfaces with acetone before I glued. It was a lot of exotic wood. Black palm, Zebra, Purple heart, walnut, Maple, Oak and Cherry. The tops are beautiful. She loves them. LCLC

I purchased this to repair my expensive end grain chopping board onto which I had put a leaking hot water heater, I didn't know it was going to leak I hasten to add !! Anyway I needed this type of glue to repair the cracks that had appeared as it is graded as "food safe" Board dried, cracks cleaned out and glue carefully inserted into the cracks, clamps tightened and left for 48 hours (my choice). As a woodturner I have used Titebond medium, thin and thick CA glue for a number of years to fill cracks that show up in bowl blanks as the wood is turned away. It's not a perfect solution but it's as good as anything else I have tried and a lot quicker. I have also used the thin version to put a hard finish on bottle stoppers, pizza cutters and ice cream scoops. It has very strong bond and you dont need much, and it has the settling time as promised on the bottle. After years of use, our Dungeons & Dragons rulebooks were disintegrating into dozens of individual clumps of pages. We couldn't find any PVA glue at local stores, so we ordered this stuff, which was reasonably priced and arrived quickly. Sure enough, it did the trick. After a full day of drying time, our books are now whole once again and have stood up to all the page-flipping we have dealt out since. We haven't tried any other brand of bookbinding glue, so can't say how this compares to other brands, but it definitely works.haverwench

It sets quite fast (around 20-30mins depending on the temperature). But you cannot really stress it until a few hours. The bond is really strong after fully drying (which is a few hours-recommended 24 hours). I have tried breaking the bond, but usually the wood breaks before the bond even shows a sign of yielding.abouzar

I have not used this my latest purchase of Titebond Original just yet. But having used it previously, I am aware of its value. I am currently working on a project that is not ready for the glue up stage. Because I have no local outlet for it I didn't wish to be left with the problem of having to wait when I needed it.Whyron
