This is a very good 1×12 cab. You can't go wrong with a V30, and it songs great in this cab. The porting makes for a bigger low end than say my mesa 1×12, but not quite a defined as the mesa but still plenty good. Pairing this with the Mesa makes for a great combo, as this provides the low end the Mesa lacks. The cab looks great, and has help up respectable after 4-5 gigs with it. I have two small tolex tears that i repaired – not indestructible, but not really cheap or falling apart either. This cab has sounded great at gigs, my sound really cuts through since i've been using it in addition to a 2×12. I like the fact that it's angled behind the grill, so you still get a full size cab even though it's angled.

I use this cab with a Vox Night Train 15w head. It is a little too bright with the stock speaker, but I was expecting that. I love this cab however, built solidly, tolex looks good and it seems like it will last a long time. I de-badged it, as I do with most things, and what is nice is that is only removing two screws and there is no glue. So it looks like just a generic cab. BUY IT! You may need a speaker swap for which I reccomend warehouse guitar speakers. I got the reaper HP to use with the night train and it made a HUGE difference. This cab is a permanent addition.The Beag

Paired this with a Hughes & Kettner TM-18 also purchased from AMS. The Celestion V-30 speaker is something I’ve used before and is an awesome speaker for a variety of tones. PRS just makes gear right. The cab is built solid. Cleans are absolutely pure and as you break up the signal the cab projects crisp. It maintains this integrity as you get to “11”. I had been told by many other guitarists not to bother with the new Celestion V-type because it is made in China, yet I just couldn't resist the price. I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised with this cab. I play mostly clean, and sometimes a little overdrive, but never distortion. The cab does sound evenly balanced across the frequency spectrum. For my taste and style, I prefer a bit more scoop in the low mids, and occasionally, the bottom end in this cab is a bit too soft for me, but that could be due to the depth of the cab and not the speakers themselves. I can't speak for how this cab would do with heavy metal or even classic rock, but there are certainly no frequencies that seem to jump out and make the cab sound notched. Also, I like the clarity of the mids. Luckily, I didn't get any mud from this cab, just a nice, smooth balance.sparrow

This is the best 12" cabinet you can buy at this price range. It's well built, looks good and sounds ok, but the first thing I did after playing it a couple of times is change the speaker to get the sound I was looking for. This cabinet comes with an un-branded, completely un-marked 12" speaker. It isn't marked as a Blue Marvel speaker as advertised. I suspected that would be the case when I bought it. The cabinet alone is worth the price, so that's why i bought it.jim7699
I realize some people complain about the Blue Marvel speaker it comes with, but it really sounds great with the cabinet. I play mostly small clubs, I use 2 of these with a Peavey head and works great. Tough, great value and does the job perfectly. Zero complaints. It's a Peavey. Good enough for me. There are better ones out there, but the differences are negligible. I'd be hard pressed to find someone in the audience who would say "but it's not loaded with a higher priced driver". That pretty much never happens in that environment. The amp produces some great sounds and this cabinet accurately does it's job. Why pay the extra $100 bucks for what only gear snobs say is better. I got my 1×12 cabinet for compact use. It works and sound great. Bad knees and joints from being prior military makes a 412 or 212 hauling to practice or gigs a pain, so compartmentalizing it all is good. It’s way easier to swap speakers too. It’s sturdy which is good. I recommend it.William B.
This is my second Seismic 1×12. The first one I bought was years ago… this new one has some improvements over the original in terms of fit n finish. When I bought the first one, you had to install the T nuts your self. This one came with them pre installed. The only issue for this cab is the spacing holes are meant for Celestion and my example did not fit my Eminence speaker at all! So if you are planning to load an Eminence speaker in here, you may have issues. Otherwise…. I really do not think you can beat these. Those 440live cabinets aren't even as good.Max S.

This is a quality made and excellent sounding speaker cab. It delivers a full sound from a single 1×12 cab. The cab is front ported and closed in the back, so the sound is focused to the front. This particular cab has a newer Fillmore Speaker instead of the usual Mesa Black Shadow C90 or Vintage V30 speaker. Mesa boogie recto 1×12 with vintage 30 i have two of these cabinets available with sequential serial numbers. i purchased them last year to test out a stereo rig. they sound great and are manufactured to the highest possible quality. as you can see from the pictures there's no damage to the tolex or leather corners, and the leather handles are in great condition. each cabinet is wired to connect in parallel to an additional cabinet using the built in connector on the jack plate. the jack plate is marked 8-ohms, however, the sparker is 16 ohms (see picture). this makes the pair operate at 8 ohms when connected together.

I picked this up for a Matchless lightning head that I just picked up. This is a better match than my matchless ES112 from 1999 with the Matchless version of the Celestion V30. The closed back really produces a very tight bass and I have to back off on the bass tone control. I play clean just to the edge of break up and this cab is very even across the frequency range. I was worried that the closed back might be too much on the bass end, but it is perfect with the lightning.Jim

i got this cabinet about a month ago and so far have used it at two gigs. i have a bugera 6262 head that i purchased it for. i couldn't be more pleased with the purchase. it has searing low's, crisp high's and a mid punch that cut's through the mix on solos. the ohm switch allows you to play with pretty much any head out there. you can run 4, 8, or 16 ohms, pretty kewl feature. very versatile. you won't find a better cabinet for the price, i would stack this cabinet up against any thing else out there. i gave it four stars because of the handle on top. it's a great handle, but big and bulky. my head would not sit on top of the cabinet with out tetering. it was an easy fix though, the feet on the cabinet are huge about an inch in height, and the feet on my head are about a 1/2 inch in height, but other than that the same size. i just swapped them and no problems now, the head sits just fine on there. over all a great piece of equipment. looks killer, sounds killer.hollywood hig
I used to play through a Marshall 4×12 cab loaded with GT 75 Celestions. I was a heavy amp owing to the fact it had 4 speakers so I wanted something a little lighter and I came across this Bugera 2×12 with the Turbosound speakers. This is an impressive Cab and is versatile. You can run it in stereo or bridged mono, and it's got some great power handling capabilities. The sound is very clear and if you crank up the bass in your amp head or effects, it can get very "throaty". For the money, this is a big bang for the buck. Bought this mostly for implementing a stereo setup for live performances. Use it with my Hot Rod Deville. Good sound in stereo operation with the DeVille, but the low end is lacking. It is heavy in the mid range area of the sound spectrum. However the 4, 8, 16 Ohm operating modes are great for the type of different configurations I was looking to using it with. I was thinking the cabinet and the operating modes alone made it a good try, since I can always change the speakers to Celestion or Eminence to get the sound I am looking for. Couldn't build a cabinet of that quality for the price I paid. No lose situation for my needs.Vetteman

Blackstar are renowned for good amps and cabs so I bought this knowing it would be good. I was blown away with how good this thing sounds especially due to it's small (very portable) size. The addition of the removable back panel is a great idea so it can be used as an open or closed back cab – ingenious. I would highly recommend the cab to any band or guitarist, for bigger venues it can me 'mic'd up which is a simple process. I would give this 6 stars if the option were there lol.jaydeedrinker

Die 112er von Engl habe ich mir zur Ergänzung des Engl Ironball gekauft. Neben einem (sehr) guten Klang wollte ich, dass die Box 8 Ohm Impedanz hat (damit der Power Soak des Ironball nutzbar ist) und ich die Box alleine transportieren kann. Dies erfüllt die 112er in vollem Umfang. Sehr angenehm ist, dass die Höhen seidig sind und der Vintage 30 „obenrum“ nicht zu grell klingt. Mir ist das wichtig, da der Ton sonst im Zerrbetrieb der Ton nerven kann. Die Mittenbetonung mag ich persönlich und ist darüber hinaus im Bandgefüge sehr hilfreich, da die Gitarre hörbar bleibt, ohne dass der Verstärker weiter aufgedreht werden muss. Bei Zurücknehmen des Volumens (Gitarrenpoti/Lautstärkepedal), kann man so auch leicht die Mittenfrequenz für den Gesang wieder freigeben. Die Box ist sehr solide verarbeitet und strahlt – obwohl noch nicht eingespielt – druckvoll ab. Ich vermisse deshalb keine größere Box. Allerdings spielen wir im Proberaum und Gig mit relativ moderaten Lautstärken. Die 112er Pro erfüllt meine Erwartungen voll, sieht gut aus und ist für den Ironball wie gemacht. Aufgrund der überdurchschnittlichen Größe und des Gewichts von rd. 21 kg trägt sie sich zwar wie ein 1x12er Combo, ist für mich aber noch in Ordnung ist. Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, daher klare Kaufempfehlung!
Compré esta pantalla hace un par de meses para el cabezal Engl E606 ironball Head, y la combinación resultante es difícilmente mejorable. Esta pantalla no es precisamente barata, pero puedes estar seguro que la pantalla vale cada euro que pagas por ella. Nada más sacarla del embalaje, en el que viene perfectamente protegido, se nota la calidad de los materiales con los que está fabricada, además de las exquisitas terminaciones propias de los productos ENgL. La caja está fabricada en abedul siberiano y en su interior nos encontramos con un altavoz Celestion Vintaje 30 de 8 ohmios, el cual no necesita presentación. Con esta combinación se consigue un sonido con unos medios muy definidos, y en combinación con el cabezal E606 la respuesta a la ecualización es bastante dinámica. También dispone de conexión para poder conectarla con otra pantalla Por supuesto la pantalla da un sonido contundente, definido y sin ningún tipo de vibración, tanto a volúmenes bajos como elevados.Es totalmente recomendable para quien es exigente con el sonido ya que la calidad de la pantalla es dificilmente mejorable.Ademas de un envio rapido y sin demoras con embalage perfecto.
Eigentlich habe ich weniger erwartet vom Klang/Volumen dieser Box als ich diverse Kritiken gelesen hatte.Diese Box hat gengend Dampf um locker sich im Bandgefge zu behaupten.Spiele einen Engl Gigmaster 15 und der Sound und die Verarbeitung ist einfach nur Top. Wer meint es msste eine 1x 12er Box sein der sollte zumindest diese Box mal antesten,zumindest fr zu Hause eine absolut lohnende Anschaffung.blautroll333

Paired this with a Hughes & Kettner TM-18 also purchased from AMS. The Celestion V-30 speaker is something I’ve used before and is an awesome speaker for a variety of tones. PRS just makes gear right. The cab is built solid. Cleans are absolutely pure and as you break up the signal the cab projects crisp. It maintains this integrity as you get to “11”. Considering the reasonable price, I decided to try this cab. I've been playing for about 40 years, but I don't have a lot of experience experimenting with different speakers and cabs. I had been told by many other guitarists not to bother with the new Celestion V-type because it is made in China, yet I just couldn't resist the price. I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised with this cab. I play mostly clean, and sometimes a little overdrive, but never distortion. The cab does sound evenly balanced across the frequency spectrum. For my taste and style, I prefer a bit more scoop in the low mids, and occasionally, the bottom end in this cab is a bit too soft for me, but that could be due to the depth of the cab and not the speakers themselves. I can't speak for how this cab would do with heavy metal or even classic rock, but there are certainly no frequencies that seem to jump out and make the cab sound notched. Also, I like the clarity of the mids. Luckily, I didn't get any mud from this cab, just a nice, smooth balance.sparrow
