1. Musician's Gear A-Frame Stand For Acoustic, Electric, And Bass Guitars (2 Pack) Black
Product Details:
These a-frame acoustic guitar stands are ideal for home studio work when you have to put your guitar down often. the guitar stand boasts rugged square-tube construction and holds your instrument securely.
Reviews:
Overall, these are great little stands. The issues I have with them are minor but you should be aware of them. First, the way the stands are made doesn't let them sit well on uneven surfaces.I use mine primarily in the studio so this hasn't been an issue with me yet, I have plenty of tripod guitar stands just in case. My other issue is with the hard rubber covering where the legs pivot and the back of the guitar rests. Given the chance I think this could leave marks on the guitar finish. The neck plate on my electric guitars rests on the stand so it's no a problem with them, but my Ibanez bass doesn't have a metal plate and of course my acoustic guitars don't as well. The problem is easily solved by putting a small towel over the top of the stand. This actually is a handy place to put the towel I use to wipe down the strings before I put the guitar down.Dj Phil
I've been playing at my and my friends' homes for years, and I've always just set the guitar down. I finally got this and made a place for it in the corner. But I would still set the guitar down by where I was playing. Then — DUH — I simply brought the stand with the guitar! I play in the chair, it's next to me. I play on the couch, it's next to me. I stand up and record, it's next to me. And when I'm done, I put the guitar and stand in the corner. I should have had one of these years ago! I've never performed with a guitar stand, and I've never recorded professionally, but I would not see any problems with this stand.Someday Guitarist
Adam's purchase of a "Musician's Gear A-frame Stand for Acoustic, Electric, and Bass Guitars" … it's rare but, I have few words for a review of this item … at a price of only $12.99 or less with holiday promo or RedCard discounts and free shipping, I do not have any complaints … unfortunately the guitar stand requires replacement cushions, what appears to be rubberized foam tubing, flattens under the weight of a guitar within only weeks, as many products did the same for decades … it's a shame but, I still love it … intend to spend a few dollars at the local hardware store for correctly sized and more durable tubing … probably chat with Target.com and email Music123, partner sellers … there could be improved replacement parts available … you never know? After playing guitars for 25 years, I have matured and appreciate a great deal and disappointments happen everyday. Thanks Target! AdamAdam of New York

Reviews:
I had to make major modifications to make this fit me. I'm 5' 8" 140 lbs. Owned mine for 2 years, but had to cut the legs 2 1/2" shorter, move the seat rest down and backwards a few inches, widen the footrest and remove the guitar rest. It's now fine for a 3 hour gig, but was HORRIBLE before!!! Strength and quality of materials, construction and padding are very good, but ergonomics are by some strangely built weirdo, unfortunately!! They need to redesign it to fit an average human!!!!! If they made it fit right, it's worth the cost. If you can't modify it as I have, buy something elseTim
I have been performing an acoustic set for sometime now and I have to lug a stand, stool, the guitar and I take a tablet for a cheat sheet and requests. This cuts most of my lugging in half and the seat is comfortable. I love the fact I can just bring 3 things to my gigs and have the peace of mind that I don't loose track of a stand or the stool. I mean seriously I would never forget my guitar but a guitar stand is easily misplaced or someone confiscates your stool and then the bar now has an extra stool and you left without your stool. These things may sound silly but when being a performing musician and not having people working for you keeping track of your stuff it's easy to have stuff go missing. This item molds two things into one and makes the gig easier and it's comfortable! So all around just a great product.dyerknight
Must have been designed for ppl at least 7 feet tall. Most of you will be cutting 2 or 3 inches off the legs. Most ppls feet do won't reach the floor and the foot rest are not appropriate height. That alone makes it very uncomfortable and renders it almost non usable. The back rest may be risky as it did snap off for at least one person and I found it to feel very unlikely of holding any of my weight. Also the back rest was not lined up when assembled at the factory and is off skew. Looks dumb. Could it be fixed without damaging? Maybe. The guitar rest do not hold an electric guitar on mine without it setting sideways and risking a fall. Can I bend them around to work? Maybe. I don't currently have an acoustic on hand to test. "I barely have a butt but still find this hard to get situated on. Very small seat. Hard and not comfortable. I never believed there could be so many issues with a simple chair. I may cut the legs and basically rebuild the rest of it and keep it, but I have to say it is nowhere near worth the price. If I don't take it back, I will likely use it after repair for a while and then buy a nice office chair later and give this thing away.Chuck

Reviews:
I ordered one, liked it so much, I ordered two more. For my needs this worked perfectly for my classical, as well as my 12-string and 6-striing acoustic guitars. I like the weight and the balance of this stand. The padding that touches the instrument surface, I feel, is quite adequate. Had also hoped to "kill two birds" by using one as a tabletop music holder; it seems to do the job, in my case only by placing a ruler along either the top front of the stand (behind the book), and possibly other methods I haven't tried yet. Am used to standard guitar stands, so if I had small kids or pets of concern I Might be a little more cautious with type of stand, though, as with any free-standing instrument.Pat
I've always been happy with ChromaCast products in general. A decent product at a fair price. I've bought several different ChromaCast products they have always been a consistant quality and beat comparably priced items I have tried in the past.Soundman
Not the best stand I have, but for the low cost, you simply can't beat it. The build quality is excellent, and the welds (a common quality concern) are exceptional on this product. I've used this for stage and home use, and it's very solid. In fact it's sturdy enough to hold a five and four string jazz bass at the same time. This makes for an incredibly small footprint on small stages or tight rehearsal spaces. It folds for storage, with the only issue being the arms that hold the guitars don't fold, or cannot be taken off for even a smaller load. Regardless, this stand is such a deal for the price, it's hard to find any flaws. Due to space, this is the only stand I'm using at my home right now, and it's holding a 1400.00 bass. That is reason enough to buy itjamesbaghr

Reviews:
I purchased floor model from the Guitar Center, so there was no disclaimer. I was later told of this disclaimer after it had already ruined the finish on my Heritage H150! The issue I have is, WHY would Guitar Center continue to sell these? They really are garbage. The cheap stands that have the neck support (also sold by Guitar Center) will,do,the same thing, they will leave marks on the neck as well as the body rim. Bottom line….BUY A GOOD STAND FROM A REAL MUSIC STORE,Steve
Bought the two-pack on a discount. Would have liked to get the non-acoustic configuration, as I will most often use this to hold a bass guitar – but the guitar sits nicely in the frame and while it is a knock-over risk (no upper arm holding the neck in place) – the guitar is secure enough for temp/quick storage. Now the important bits – it is well made, feels sturdy and looks like it will last. the Frame isn't too heavy and is compact enough to fit into a duffle bag for transport to a practice space or a gig. I would suspect that I will have these frames for life with my limited use demands. If you prefer more secure storage, try a frame with a neck holder or a wall hanger. If you need transportation and weight over complete security – this is a perfect travel companion. Just robust enough.Axiom71
Before I purchased this item, I read all the comments. There was one that was pretty negative and it almost made me pass on this incredible device. This guitar stand is just as good as the more expensive guitar stands because I have one of those more expensive guitar stands. To be honest, I cannot tell the difference. Don't spend twice as much for a guitar stand that is not any better. This guitar stand is an outstanding deal.CJ

6. Musician's Gear Electric, Acoustic And Bass Guitar Stand Black
Product Details:
Adjustable guitar stand fits electric, acoustic and bass guitars lightweight and durable steel tubing with soft rubber padding includes rubber security strap and non-slip rubber feet wide, secure tripod base folds down for easy storage strongest, sturdiest tubular folding stand weve seen anywhere! made to exacting specs with soft black neoprene rubber tubing to protect your guitar. folds up for easy transport. not for nitrocellulose-finish guitars.
Reviews:
Bought 2 of these when they were the Stupid Deal of the Day. I figured even if they were a little flimsy, they would do an adequate job of holding three guitars in my studio or living room, or maybe even serve for a gig. I am very disappointed in this product. As stated in other customer reviews, no matter what guitars you put on the stands, the headstocks will touch. There is no simple adjustment you can make to the stand to avoid this. If you have the right sized guitars, you may be able to angle them just so to avoid touching, but this level of thought should not be necessary for such a critical piece of kit. It's clunky, poorly designed, and wobbly: the little rubber arm that prevents your guitar from falling out is, sadly, a necessary precaution when leaving your guitar in the stand. At this price point (yes, I mean cheap), I guess it's meant to be disposable. I recommend spending more and getting a Hercules or something more reliable and worthy of your instruments. This last recommendation should also be applied when considering the purchase of any Musician's Gear product.Chordtone
I purchased one of these previously and it was fine. My second unit had the vertical bar mounted to the base so crooked that would nearly fall over backward when a guitar was placed on it. Customer service was super friendly and helpful and sent me another unit at no cost. Unfortunately the replacement was almost as bad, with the vertical bar now leaning to the left. At this point I just gave up. Some say "you get what you pay for" but I would expect any item sold to at the very least fulfill it's primary function to some degree, but these don't. Again, Musicians Friend has good customer service, but this stand is not usable.Clint
Once setting this up out of the box, an issue was obvious. Apparently when this was constructed and welded/soldered at the factory, the connection of the vertical section to the tripod base was done so crookedly, and leaning to one side. there was no way to correct this as it's either soldered or welded at the bottom section, and I wouldn't trust a guitar on this stand. This was a few bucks cheaper than the Chromecast brand so I thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately even at $10, it was a waste of time needing to process a return/refund. See attacded photos.UnsatisifitedCustomer

Really useful item for standing your guitar and very versatile too. I do like the adjustable neck. Could do with a little more padding where the guitar rests but other than that very good indeed.john70000_1

Works well and fast to set up and carryglyn
I tried one of the stands for my bass guitar. It was very flexible plastic. Even when adjusted correctly for the bass, it flexed a lot and eventually my expensive bass fell off the stand, without being bumped. This bass weighs around 9 pounds, so is on the heavy side. I think these stands would be fine for an electric guitar or an acoustic, but I do not recommend these for bass guitars at all. I returned them and Parts Express promptly refunded. I would suggest that Talent, who is a subsidiary of PE just like Dayton Audio, would do a second model of these stands for bass that are made of a stiffer plastic. The basic foldup design is excellent, and I would buy it if newly designed for bass.M
plastic arm broke just after I got it. should have ordered a stronger stand..Robert

Reviews:
I love these perfect dor my needs. The guitar quickly index the stand and fits righting no matter how I plce it. I keep to next to me in the tv room. One has an electric and the other an acoustic. When ever I get the need during commercials I pick up a guitar, play, and then saddle it. Great price. Well made and sturdy. I will be buying several more as stocking staffers for Christmas.candelljr123
this is a very sturdy stand that collapes easily into a very managable size. a great value. i have two, and might get a couple more.funhog*steve
It's made well, sturdy. I don't know why some other owners claimed it was weak and flimsy. The hardware is similar to a decent camera tripod. I own several different types of guitar stands. While there are portable stands that are smaller and lighter they also cost twice as much. I'd highly recommend this one!Wavygravy

Reviews:
I can only say that it works well with a Fender Jaguar. The quality seems pretty good. Not K&M good, but still. I did notice some scratches here and there on the stand out of the box, but nothing too crazy. Besides, it doesn't have to look pretty. It just has to work. And the stability is great.
If you own a BC Rich guitar or bass, or a flying V or other guitar or bass with an oddly-shaped body, you need this stand for gigging and/or breaks during rehearsals. I'd like to address the criticisms of this stand that I've read in other reviews: first, yes, it would be more convenient for setup purposes if the support arms were designed to slide up and down and lock in place with setscrews. On the other hand, the remove-and-reinsert design Fender has employed here means that, once you get this stand set up, THE SUPPORTS CAN'T SLIP OUT OF ALIGNMENT. That's a net plus, in my book, and properly setting the stand up really doesn't take that long in my experience. Secondly, it's true that this stand is not as stable as I'd like it to be. That's principally because the unit's stance is too narrow. If the legs opened wider than they do, it would be at least as solid as any other body-support-style stand. So that's an issue. However, the complaint about it not being stable enough for a bass guitar is off-base. The solution is to LOWER THE BOTTOM-MOST SUPPORT ARM to the lowest hole in the leg on that side, rather than to leave it in place at the third or fourth hole up. It's a pretty simple issue of geometry and physics: the lower the center of gravity, the more stable your instrument will be. If you're foolish enough to leave the lowest support arm in its default position, OF COURSE it won't be stable enough to reliably support a bass guitar. Heck, I wouldn't trust it to support my Mockingbird without that mod. Finally, the little support arm is kind of useful to provide additional lateral stability for your instrument's upper body. Not REAL useful, but still … I'm happy with mine.
I bought this for my BC Rich Warlock bass and it adapts to the shape very well. The bass is cradled properly and securely. A nice stable stand, with only the poorly stuck on rubber feet reducing its star rating.
