Reviews:
Some love Vintage 30's. My preference is creambacks. I like to play smooth jazz as well as classic rock and some harder rock. Vintage 30s are built more for rock where as the creambacks In my opinion have that smoother rounder sound. A little more versatile. For me when I want to go for jazz the blues to rock it just works better with a cream back maybe I'm spoiled because I've used a lot of cream bag versus vintage 30s maybe I need more break in. On the speaker not saying it's bad sounding care of it all just that I prefer the creambacks. I'll give the vintage 30s a little longer and then I may actually swap them out at some point which is why I did purchase the open back cab is part of my decision . I would prefer to build in the US and I don't know why they built this one in China and then for $200 more added another small piece of wood to make it a close back that I'm puzzled why Orange made that move. I imagine they probably sell more open open back cabs if they built them on the US. However I am grateful for the lower price because I did not want to spend that much on an open back. This cat is extremely light matter fact it's lighter than my head which is the rocker verb 100 but it matches perfectly. What's nice about this cab is it has that ternal character that only open backs can give you . That's a matter of preference for most but if you're used to a combo amp and you go to a close back chances are you're not going to like the tone of a closed back. If your looking for bloom and warm round sound this cab is incredible. I actually was surprised it does throw much more volume but does add more warmth. Overall a great cab. If you love the sound of vintage 30s a perfect cab.Jazman
This 16ohm cabinet sounds absolutely fantastic and is built like a tank! Don't be fooled: even though it's a 2×12, it weighs as much as some 4×12 cabs out there. Take that into consideration when deciding to buy or not, it's quite a deciding factor for sure! The build quality is fabulous though! That being said, not only its weight is heavy. The sound coming from this cab is powerful, clear, well-defined. If you like the overall sound of V30 celestion speakers, you will love this well-resonating cabinet. Our band plays heavy grunge / stoner metal type music, with heavy emphasis on powerful growling walls of guitar and rhythmically diverse riffs. Influences: Deftones, Nirvana, Wolfmother, Kylesa, Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, Steak Number Eight, … It's great for that type of sound, especially when coupled with an Orange amp. Coupled with my Rockerverb 100W, playing with a 1999 Gibson Explorer, I can get smooth, vintage, creamy, clear and natural sounding overdrive, but also devastatingly powerful walls of dirt on channel 2, which sounds a bit like a mix between a distortion and fuzz. Just the way I like it. I'm sure the cabinet would pair well with other amps as well. I don't think you can go wrong with this cab, if you need a 16ohm 2×12 and can deal with the weight. 5 stars from me!
I've had my share of different speaker cabs from 2×10's, 2×12's, 4×10's to 4×12's to even 6×10's. If you're a "tone seeker" like myself, you'll understand how speakers and enclosures affect your guitar tone. To make this short, this cab has blown my mind on how my guitar tone has changed for the better. Although I've had a closed back Orange 2×12 with same Vintage 30s speakers in the past, I did not hear a difference on how tone could improve as I was running it through an Orange AD30 head. I now use a Peavey 5150 and it sounds incredibly beastly! The 5150 and Orange 2×12 configuration really makes both head and cab shine and morphs into that abominable monster when you engage it. There is really no question on how good Orange cabs are and truly improve your tone to your needs. It is worth every penny and will not make you regret the purchase.

Reviews:
Overall: I have been looking for a 2×12 cab for along time. I bought a Laney IRT60h a few years ago, and have been blown away by the quality of that amp, and it’s made in china. So when this UK made cabinet arrived blown away can’t even begin to describe my feelings. Solid built. So well made. The tolex is perfect. The casters seem heavy enough to support a bus. The handles are integrated so smoothly. I can’t sing loud enough about the build quality of this cab. The sound it just as pleasing as the look. Tight and punchy. Just brilliant sound. I’m not sure what speakers are in there. I think they are vintage 30’s, but I can’t swear to it. They sound amazing. I have a vintage ADA 2×12 with G75T’s in it, and this Laney leaves my trusty ada in the dust. I’ve owned that cab since 1987. I think it’s going to get sold. I ran my new Laney cab through everything my IRT60 could toss at it. It never disappointed. Clean it just glistened. Those 12” drivers just sparkled. Crunch was perfect. Tight and punchy. The response from all that air moving in that ported cab just rocked. That’s all I can say. It rocked. The higain setting is where my rig really came alive though. Obviously the IRT is a metal monster. Although very capable in its own right, but that Black Country Custom just plain screamed when I hit the lead channel and ripped the gain off. Lol!! I’m not going to debate anyones personal preferences here. We all know there is plenty of quality out there. I am going to say this. My Laney is a heavyweight contender. It will go toe to toe with any mesa, and Marshall, and any other hi end manufacture you can throw at this thing.Tim

Reviews:
Good speaker cabinet… WAY more sound than it looks like it should provide… especially more bottom end than expected!Easy to lift and transport. Sounds great! Nice cabinet! Love the mix of speakers. Nearly perfect… tolex lifting inside the cabinet… nothing a bit of gaffer's tape can't fix but a little unexpected for a new cabinet. As with all Marshall, there is intrinsic value to the name alone…jimsmith
This cabinet is too small for JVM 205H. I bought because I saw the indentions in the cabinet for the legs of the amp head in the picture. Beware these indentions are not in this cabinet. If you just need an ext. cab. and don't care about size then this cab. would work well.Just a player

Reviews:
Very impressive construction. The only (minor) problem is the mounting hardware for the speakers do not line up with the EMINENCE speakers I put in. It's only a minor problem because TWO of four positions on the speakers DO line up and hold the speakers firmly in place. Very well built, great price, quick delivery time. Well done.James T.
The Quality is Excellent. I paid the high price figuring I was helping a small American company make it thru these Covid times. I believe it's made overseas, not the end of the world, still helping somebody. There are many struggling Musicians and gear companies at this time. I rotate an Eminence Texas Heat and a Vintage 30 and they both sound great cranked up and at low volume with many different heads pushing it . I'm satisfieddatie_28
I was looking for a horizontal 212 cab and found your company. This thing is great!!!! I installed a couple of speakers I had and it matches my guitar head just great!! Quality built and should stand a lifetime of playing. Price was right also. I could not have built one any cheaper that looks this good. I will be adding a carry strap to top but that is my only negative. Great job everybody!!WILLIAM T.

Reviews:
Paired this with a Hughes & Kettner TM-18 also purchased from AMS. The Celestion V-30 speaker is something I’ve used before and is an awesome speaker for a variety of tones. PRS just makes gear right. The cab is built solid. Cleans are absolutely pure and as you break up the signal the cab projects crisp. It maintains this integrity as you get to “11”. Very impressed but not surprised as it is PRS.Brad E
Considering the reasonable price, I decided to try this cab. I've been playing for about 40 years, but I don't have a lot of experience experimenting with different speakers and cabs. I had been told by many other guitarists not to bother with the new Celestion V-type because it is made in China, yet I just couldn't resist the price. I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised with this cab. I play mostly clean, and sometimes a little overdrive, but never distortion. The cab does sound evenly balanced across the frequency spectrum. For my taste and style, I prefer a bit more scoop in the low mids, and occasionally, the bottom end in this cab is a bit too soft for me, but that could be due to the depth of the cab and not the speakers themselves. I can't speak for how this cab would do with heavy metal or even classic rock, but there are certainly no frequencies that seem to jump out and make the cab sound notched. Also, I like the clarity of the mids. Luckily, I didn't get any mud from this cab, just a nice, smooth balance.sparrow

The speaker cabinet was promptly shipped and arrived with no damage. Breaking in the stock speakers now. The 2 12" speakers sound better that I expected for the price point as I was expecting to swap out the stock speakers right away, but I will wait and see. The whole package is a screamin deal! Might buy another one.Pat H.
Purchased the SA-212 cab about a year ago now and I've just gotten done putting it through the paces. Major kudos to Seismic Audio for making an affordable 2×12 with surprising sturdy build quality with excellent clarity and depth to match! I run my EMG X-Series equipped seven string guitar through a Peavey 6505 head with a boost in front and a graphic EQ in the fx loop like any (in)sane metal head would. I would be lying if I said I haven't been completely floored by this cabinet since day one. The top end is clear and crisp and there's enough deep bass to crumble sheetrock walls lol. It definitely has a voicing all its own and it honestly might sound better than my Mesa 2×12 with V30s. It took me a little re-learning how to dial in my amp to get the most out of it, but when I finally found "that" tone, I knew it was gonna be one heck of a ride and faces have melted accordingly. If you're on the fence like I was, take the chance with this cab. I am farest from disappointed and I'm sure you will be too.
The cab I bought did not have the center front to back brace that was in the photos at the the time. I brought this up with Seismic and they said "oops, we didn't know" basically. They updated the photos since but offered nothing to me. Also, "carpet" is a loose description of the covering. It's felt. Internal edge bracing does not go from edge to edge. It starts at the floor of the cabinet but stops a few inches from the top of the cabinet. The back and walls are an inexpensive particle board. The front baffle is as described. You will need to drill and add your own t-nuts and mounting screws. For the money, it's a decent cab but is not pro quality. Good for simple home use. Shipment and correspondence were quick as always with Seismic.

Reviews:
I originally purchased this cabinet due to the fact it was loaded with 2 Celestion V30 speakers which I could not believe sounds as good or better than a Celestion loaded 4×12 cabinet with V30s! This is a versatile cabinet which provides tight, aggressive and focused sounds which rival most 4×12 cabinets!Alex
Phenomenal cab paired up with the Randall RD series heads. Cab sounds excellent with the V30's. This cab is super heavy but that's a good thing. Quality cabs are very heavy. The metal grill and Randall logo look awesome and really say "metal". The included casters are nice and just pop in/out of quick release sockets on the bottom of the amp. I chose to leave them off due to the fact I have hardwood floors and the wheels don't have any locks on them so the cab was free to roll around. If you choose to not use the casters like me it's no prob because the bottom of the cab has some nice rubber hockey puck type feet installed on all four corners on the bottom. Very cool for people not wanting to use the wheels. Overall very happy with the amp. Highly recommend it. Especially for playing metal with with the Randal RD heads.Matt

I was using a 1-12 Vintage Cab with my SB Friedman 50 watt head, and it was sound so good! I began looking at 2-12’s Friedman cab and decided to purchase it and it has been one of the best musical decisions I’ve made!! My sound now has so much headroom, and a spaciousness about the sound coming through the cab, as it almost sounds in stereo. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase and AMS is awesome might I add!!!

None of the speaker mounting holes would line-up!!! I was using Celestion speakers too!!! I had to fill all the holes, re drill them in the correct place and re install all the hardware!!! Not to mention..Very sloppy and uneven cutting everywhere!! I will never purchase one of there cabinets again!!!! Complete waste of money!!!Jason B.
This has got to be one of the best hidden gems out there, for the music world. If you are a “Name Brand” shopper, who would rather pay 3-5 times the price, for an unloaded speaker cabinet, that has no clue where the cabinet came from, or what country the customer support team is located in, then this is not for you. For everyone else, I promise you, you cannot beat this Memphis based company. They are the best. I submitted a question, through the support link, and had a response in less then 48 hours (and this was during the Christmas rush. Compared to another “Name Brand” loaded 2×12 cabinet that I own, that cost $150.00, more is an ok box. But I’ve turned around and have almost $200.00, in new speakers to put in it. Now I wish I would have ordered another unloaded cabinet. But, live and learn, because after putting the speakers I want, in this cabinet, my total price will be about $30-40, more than the loaded box. Put your trust and confidence, back in the American companies, and help the small business owners succeed.Christopher C.

Product Details:
This item was returned in great condition. it looks and plays like new, with only minor signs of use (slight scuffs, etc.). the dv neoclassic 212 is a standard-sized 2×12" cabinet, but it feels much lighter than others in its class. thanks to its impressive 300w power handling, it can easily handle full-sized heads. it only weighs 27.33 lbs (12.4 kg)-the perfect choice for anyone who needs a small rig, with a classic tone in an ultra-portable unit.
Reviews:
Received the cab yesterday and have been playing it at home, so this is a preliminary review. I'm using a Mesa Roadster 100 watt head. Considering the speakers are neo, I was somewhat surprised by the tone of this cab, which did not impress me. I've played through other neo speakers that have that characteristic 'neo' sound – super clear and clean across the frequency spectrum – but I think this neo has been tweaked to play rock. I play mostly clean blues, jazz, and R&B, and I'm a little disappointed that the mids lack clarity, especially when playing jazz chords on the 'inside four.' Yet, the top end is still brash. I played this cab side-by-side (A/B) with my Mesa Lone Star 2×12 open back cab, and the Mark DV sounds like a tin can compared to the Mesa. Also, I have a Quilter amp with a neo speaker, and the clarity, even in the mid-range frequencies, sounds great. These speakers do not. My overall first impression is that this cab is strictly mediocre, nothing more.Sparrow
I have been using the DV mark multiamp for two years now. I didn't get a matching cab because it sounded great through any cab I used. Different, but great. Well, I'm tired of carrying these heavy cabs around every weekend. I've known about the DV Mark cabs being light so I figured I'd get one. At first I was thrown of by the weight! How could this thing possibly handle the high volumes I sometimes end up needing(freaking cymbals man!)?!? Its like carrying your guitar in its case, less than that even! Another thing I should point out, when I tested out my multiamp, it was through a neoclassic 2×12. I should have made the investment then! This cab has clarity, definition and handles the higher volumes perfectly. I have been playing professionally for 35 years. I have tube amps, some of the best available. I wanted something versatile, compact and can provide a good guitar tone, whatever style/genre. To anyone that reads this, please, just try it out. Especially guys who are working musicians like myself. Great sounding cab! P.S. tried it with my jvm410h and dual rectifier… It was different, but not bad… I've could have easily been just as comfortable without tweaking. Thanks for reading. Hope this helps.Rpc1971
I wrote my preliminary review a few months ago. After experimenting extensively with various heads, this is my update. (this review is a little better) While I still agree with my initial assessment that the cab has its limitation, I did find one application that works well. I have a Quilter 200 power block. This head has tremendous clean headroom, and it also has a mid-scoop feature on the tone control. I use this head for clean jazz, pop, and R&B. Now, because I have great clean headroom and scooped mids, this cabinet sounds better. As I said in my preliminary review, this cab might be good for rock and roll because the mids sounded soft, but forward, to me, but I can't speak to that because, well, I'm too old to rock and roll (but hopefully, too young to die).sparrow

I bought this to pair with my Grandmeister 36 and was not disappointed, in fact I was blown away! They sounded good at first but keep sounding but each time I use them as they break in. There are three portholes not visible the allow air flow. The vintage 30s are great, they were made in China but with this setup sound better than the UK V30s which surprised me because I was close to swapping them out. I like how you can stand it up or have normal to fit a standard head. Sounded great with my Marshall Class 5 too.Mike
Been playing through this amp for about 30 days and it has a horrible buzzing and rattle after only 30 days. Only connected to 40W amp, so its not like it was over powered. Musicians friend won't help because I ordered 2.5 months ago. But it took them 2 months to ship the amp so I didn't get to use the speaker cab until about a month ago. I guess I'm on my own now. I guess this isn't the quality equipment I expected for for this price range.unhappy customer
A Perfect addition to the 36 head Tubemiester Amp bought previously At GAK Has a clean sound and great depth and ideal for Band Gigs in the Pub circuit Any musician will want one of these two to be at the front of the pack with great performance You will not be disappointed Get Down to GAK and check them out Book a day trip and have fun too in Brighton Best Wishes William McCartneyWilliam M.
