I use this Cab 27 as a home practice amp. Being more of an audiophile than a musician, I'm critical to sound quality. I was shocked with how well engineered the Cab 27 is. I'll have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. Lot's of volume, plenty of low end and low mid growl. It sounds really good! My only minor gripe with the cab is the weight. They could easily loose 15 lbs of cabinet weight by building it completely out of plywood, or offer it as an option. Both MDF and particle board are exceptionally heavy materials. But for this price I'm not going to complain too loud.Joe C.

I received my Seismic SA_210 bass cab. Fast shipping, well secure and protected for shipping. Upon pulling the cab out the box, I was surprised how much lighter than all my previous bass cabs. All looked good. Nice handles, grill, insert plug and covering. Placed on the floor, I plugged it in to my Like new Peavey Max700 350W@4ohms/700W@2ohms. Played my 4-string American Standard Jazz bass/passive. Of course all knobs centered on amp. After tweaking my knobs to fine my sweet spot. I got the smooth deep punch at a volume level that pleased me without distorting. Plugged my 5 string Warwick/active. Made the adjustments from centered knobs again. Wow, very impressive! Active bass is a whole other beast. This 2-10 cab holds it's own. Of course this cab was meant to stack on top my Peavey BW 4-10 cab. Sets just about the exact width, only 1/4" off, not noticable unless you know or look very close. Adding the Seismic SA 2-10 4ohm cab to my 4-10 allows my amp to push it's awesome power. It compliments my rig nicely. I will get the SA-215 cab in the near future to add to my different rigs. All I can say is, I am very satisfied with the sound, looks and quality. From what I have heard, these are absolutely amazing! Unfortunately, every time I go to order a pair of these…They are out of stock. When I contacted the company, I was informed that these are barely made because they are not popular….I find that a little hard to believe because every time they wind back up on the shelf…they're gone within a week or two! I would love to exclusively use Seismic Audio amplifiers!!
I actually found these used at my local GC, and since I had been playing through my friend's 2×15 cab for over a year, I knew I had to have them! I was afraid of losing a little of the low end by going to a 1×15, but surprisingly there's still plenty there (probably too much before?). The 2×10 adds just the right brightness and punch. I couldn't ask for a better setup. Yes, I now have to make two trips to carry them in, but it is two easy trips instead of one heavy and hard to handle trip with the 2×15. I play in a rock 'n roll cover band, playing everything from Bryan Adams to White Zombie, and Franz Ferdinand to Led Zeppelin, with some Iron Maiden and Queensryche thrown in. These cabs keep up with all of it! I play through a 200w SWR Workingman's 2004 amp head and have plenty of headroom no matter what venue we are playing. I definitely recommend this combo!Kyle D.
Ive purchased this bass cab and paired it with a trace eliot elf bass amp and Allen Eden jazz bass v…….the sound is flawless. It cuts right though the mix and I get alot of compliments from band members and the sound guy while playing at church. It's not too heavy and fits great inside my lil 4 door sedan while traveling to different gigs and churches. I feel like this cab is very sturdy and reliable, I would describe the sound to gk swr and aguilar cabs.

I have always been on the fence about SA. I was initially hesitant about quality in sound and build. However, once I unboxed my SA 4×8 and rigged up my SWR 350x and 1×15 Kustom cab with this beautiful cab at my thrash metal practice I was instantly sold. This cab has so much punch and all the cut that I was craving. Sad to hear that this cabinet is discontinued. By the time I decide to purchase a second one I fear it will be no longer available. I have not had the cab more than a week so I can't comment on the long term durability. I am a little worried about how it will hold up over the years if it is constructed from MDF. I plan to have a padded vinyl cover made for the cab to keep it safe from weather, spills, and load in/out wear. Overall I am extremely pleased with SA and their gear selection. I am already planning to replace my kustom 1×15 with a SA cab in the future.

Very impressive construction. The only (minor) problem is the mounting hardware for the speakers do not line up with the EMINENCE speakers I put in. Purchased the SA-212 cab about a year ago now and I've just gotten done putting it through the paces. Major kudos to Seismic Audio for making an affordable 2×12 with surprising sturdy build quality with excellent clarity and depth to match! I run my EMG X-Series equipped seven string guitar through a Peavey 6505 head with a boost in front and a graphic EQ in the fx loop like any (in)sane metal head would. I would be lying if I said I haven't been completely floored by this cabinet since day one. The top end is clear and crisp and there's enough deep bass to crumble sheetrock walls lol. It definitely has a voicing all its own and it honestly might sound better than my Mesa 2×12 with V30s. It took me a little re-learning how to dial in my amp to get the most out of it, but when I finally found "that" tone, I knew it was gonna be one heck of a ride and faces have melted accordingly. If you're on the fence like I was, take the chance with this cab. I am farest from disappointed and I'm sure you will be too.
The cab I bought did not have the center front to back brace that was in the photos at the the time. I brought this up with Seismic and they said "oops, we didn't know" basically. They updated the photos since but offered nothing to me. Also, "carpet" is a loose description of the covering. It's felt. Internal edge bracing does not go from edge to edge. It starts at the floor of the cabinet but stops a few inches from the top of the cabinet. The back and walls are an inexpensive particle board. The front baffle is as described. You will need to drill and add your own t-nuts and mounting screws. For the money, it's a decent cab but is not pro quality. Good for simple home use. Shipment and correspondence were quick as always with Seismic.

Wanted a high powered but compact cab to pair with my GK MB200 and 500. While this cab is very heavy, is is not bulky or too much to deal with. Killer cab for its size. Solid, excellent build quality. Tight punch, great lows and very articulate. I was an SWR Goliath guy for years but the tone and power of these MB cabs turned my head. Bought a second identical cab to pair together like a 410. Easier to mange at only 69 pounds each. Also stacks very nicely, on my other 210 or on my MB 212 Standard Powerhouse (same footprint, only 78 pounds) for even more thump. Installed a new set of MB 3 track lock wheels for one cab. In 20 years of playing, this is the best 112 I've ever owned. It's light, punchy, and very efficient, meaning the 175w the MG350 puts into it are louder than a lot of sub 200w amps. It's so easy to gig with, providing perfect sound for small gigs without FOH, and great stage monitoring with FOH. I've gigged 100 person rooms with this (with FOH) no problem. Perfect for rehearsals too since it's so light and you can attach the MG350 (I also have). Seriously, a 27lb combo you can gig with makes this the only small cab you'll ever need.Jake

I love the size and portability of this speaker cab. Lightweight yet sounds amazing (using a Hartke 500 watt head) only had her out once so far and loved it. Handles low B with ease. I’ll eventually team her up with the Darkglass 500 watt amp (I’m kinda weird with needing brands to match) AMS amazing as always, fast, easy pay, secure!Mike

From what I have heard, these are absolutely amazing! Unfortunately, every time I go to order a pair of these…They are out of stock. When I contacted the company, I was informed that these are barely made because they are not popular….I find that a little hard to believe because every time they wind back up on the shelf…they're gone within a week or two! I would love to exclusively use Seismic Audio amplifiers!!
I actually found these used at my local GC, and since I had been playing through my friend's 2×15 cab for over a year, I knew I had to have them! I was afraid of losing a little of the low end by going to a 1×15, but surprisingly there's still plenty there (probably too much before?). The 2×10 adds just the right brightness and punch. I couldn't ask for a better setup. Yes, I now have to make two trips to carry them in, but it is two easy trips instead of one heavy and hard to handle trip with the 2×15. I play in a rock 'n roll cover band, playing everything from Bryan Adams to White Zombie, and Franz Ferdinand to Led Zeppelin, with some Iron Maiden and Queensryche thrown in. These cabs keep up with all of it! I play through a 200w SWR Workingman's 2004 amp head and have plenty of headroom no matter what venue we are playing. I definitely recommend this combo!Kyle D.
Ive purchased this bass cab and paired it with a trace eliot elf bass amp and Allen Eden jazz bass v…….the sound is flawless. It cuts right though the mix and I get alot of compliments from band members and the sound guy while playing at church. It's not too heavy and fits great inside my lil 4 door sedan while traveling to different gigs and churches. I feel like this cab is very sturdy and reliable, I would describe the sound to gk swr and aguilar cabs.
