Overall: Just got my 210 Monday of this week. Just got thru with practice with my band. Love it love it. I paired it with a 15 inch Peavey bw. I use the hartke 1000 head. Loved the sound. I plan on getting the Hartke 115 to match them up I'm sold on this cabinet. Very light. The Peavey 115 is twice as heavy. That another reason I like the Hartke HD series.
We come to the day in age where the business has changed so much. Small venues, private party's and small bands have become the norm. This cabinet is a powerhouse teamed with the Hartke TX600 power amp. Not to mention light weight, solidly built and compact. If things do get back to normal and more is required , I will definitely buy another one and team them up. I've worked with every cabinet out there over the years and this is by far the best.Jay
I play in a three piece loud rock band. Using it standalone hooked to a Hartke LH500. Placing it directly on the floor so the vibration spreads through rehersal room. It does not give the same volume sensation as a 4×10, but its pretty powerful and sound is clear and articulate (as the LH500 at 8 ohm is spitting about 350w), so I need to turn up the volume a little bit more 🙂 Most important : SO LIGHTWEIGHT. It fits perfectly in my car trunk and I can move it with ease using only one hand. Already thinking of getting a second one to get the full 500w 😀

From what I have heard, these are absolutely amazing! Unfortunately, every time I go to order a pair of these…They are out of stock. When I contacted the company, I was informed that these are barely made because they are not popular….I find that a little hard to believe because every time they wind back up on the shelf…they're gone within a week or two! I would love to exclusively use Seismic Audio amplifiers!!
I actually found these used at my local GC, and since I had been playing through my friend's 2×15 cab for over a year, I knew I had to have them! I was afraid of losing a little of the low end by going to a 1×15, but surprisingly there's still plenty there (probably too much before?). The 2×10 adds just the right brightness and punch. I couldn't ask for a better setup. Yes, I now have to make two trips to carry them in, but it is two easy trips instead of one heavy and hard to handle trip with the 2×15. I play in a rock 'n roll cover band, playing everything from Bryan Adams to White Zombie, and Franz Ferdinand to Led Zeppelin, with some Iron Maiden and Queensryche thrown in. These cabs keep up with all of it! I play through a 200w SWR Workingman's 2004 amp head and have plenty of headroom no matter what venue we are playing. I definitely recommend this combo!Kyle D.
Ive purchased this bass cab and paired it with a trace eliot elf bass amp and Allen Eden jazz bass v…….the sound is flawless. It cuts right though the mix and I get alot of compliments from band members and the sound guy while playing at church. It's not too heavy and fits great inside my lil 4 door sedan while traveling to different gigs and churches. I feel like this cab is very sturdy and reliable, I would describe the sound to gk swr and aguilar cabs.

I use this cabinet with a fender rumble V3 2×10 combo and it fits perfectly in a neat stack. These V3 products are really great for the money as the quality is really good and the looks are really nice. They have that nice vintage vibe to them. As far as sound goes, this extension cab does produce very low sound as well as punchy mids and very clear highs. I play a lot of slap type stuff and this sucker translated that very well. Rock, jazz, r &b, country, whatever you play it will come across right. For what it is it gets really loud and sounds full and articulate to me. Every expressive thing I can throw at it with my bass, this cab reproduces it nicely. When playing at very high levels with LOTS of bass, the speakers do tend to break up a bit but that's really due to over driving my EQ with an unnatural amount of bass. I tried so many different sounds and it works great. Honestly when I say very high levels I mean a level I would never play at anyway. This cab won't fill a 50K seat auditorium, but that's not the intention. For small to small/medium venues, this is perfect. If you want just a little more booty but don't mind the mismatch look, the V3 1×15 sounds a bit fuller to me. Really it's up to you, both are worth every penny. Buy both cabs. The price is right. If you are considering this cabinet, try it. Musicians friend is sooo easy to work with. They offer terms that can't be beat. So, yes it's awesome. Worth every penny.Chippy
I bought this cab to round out my Bass set up. I recently purchased the Fender Bassman 500 (I absolutely love that head!)and the Rumble 1×15 cab. For most of what I do that was fine as I like a nice round tone that the 1×15 gives. I bought the 2×10 to add a bit of punch and to move move more air than the 1×15 alone. I am super satisfied with the both cabs. Fender puts out a great product, it not only sounds fantastic but looks great on stage as well. The set up has more power than I need but it is nice to be able to play and know there is more power if ever needed. Like all Fender products I expect this will last a lifetime with proper care. This icing on the cake is that both cabs weigh under 40 pounds each and don't break my back moving on and off the stage. I called Peavey, have been using their equipment for years, PA's , Basses, Bass amps and guitar amps and have always been satisfied. This is the worst sounding bass cabinet I have ever used. When I spoke to them, they said that I am the only one that has complained. i have a 4 x10" TXF cabinet which sounds great and wanted to get 2 sets of 2 x 10" for easier transport.I swapped speakers between the cabinets and the TXF cabinet sounded great with either set, the Headliner 210 sucked with either speaker. I did some internal measurements of the 210's and used speaker cabinet software and the 210's do not meet any specifications for a 2 x 10" speaker cabinet. bought them online and cost too much to return them. sold 1 set of them for a substantial loss and still can't get rid of the other one.Guy
Overall: I played a show recently that had an in house sound system. They had a headliner410 and a peavey tour750 amp. It sounded good but…. I had to go out to the trailer and grab my peavey 210cabinet with a built in tweeter. Im not impressed by cabinets that dont have a horn/tweeter, Im a funk r&b motown bassist. WOW is the only way to describe this cabinet. I purchased a "scratch & dent" product, let me tell you this cabinet was in almost perfect condition all but for a "REAL SMALL DENT" Played this cabinet for the first time "Live" three days after receiving it and …WOW…paired it with a 1×15 cab and a GK MB500 head and I literally shook the venue to where you could actually feel the vibrations on stage and the dance floor, thinking it was the 1×15 I disconnected it and to my surprise it was the Peavey 4×10 doiing the shaking , again WOW ! Some people in other reviews has giving negative comments for the "Carpet" to me no big deal because it is "A Lot" cheaper to recover the carpet then Tolex when that time comes, so not a big deal for me. I did install a set of removable Fender casters because this cabinet is heavy (75 lbs) and they make it real easy to move in and out of gigs… I also love the fact that I DOES NOT have a horn that suits our style of classic rock that we cover. I use this Cab 27 as a home practice amp. Being more of an audiophile than a musician, I'm critical to sound quality. I was shocked with how well engineered the Cab 27 is. This was a refurbished item It Arrived with a broken power button and a non functioning light on the volume knob. So….. Endless possibilities. Instruction book/manual is terrible. Went on you tube and found a video on basic set up and it helped immensely. Once you get the idea, it is simple and makes sense. Pairing this with a foot controller, unlocks a lot of features and/or makes them easier to use while playing. There are a lot of tips online, but the major tip is with setting the overall input gain into the unit. When set properly, this thing behaves as it should. For my purposes (generally practice, jamming by myself), it's a great unit. Other uses I would recommend this preamp for are cover bands, studio/session bassists, anything where a variety of tones is necessary. This unit differs from a lot of other preamps, in that you can model different amps with different cabs, or turn that feature completely off, making this a bit less static than other similar preamps. The user interface is a bit of a learning curve, but once you start getting it down, you realize it's pretty intuitive and well thought out.monti2889

Overall: As soon as I plugged this cab into my Mesa Titan Big Block V12 amp, I knew I was in for a surprise. I found myself playing sliding runs and bending notes in the first several seconds after powering up. I don't normally play that way so I knew it was the speaker cab that was inspiring me to go that direction. I just sat there and jammed. I normally play through a 4×12 Mesa cab. I also used to play through 2 ampeg 4×10 cabs, so I am used to playing through great cabs and I know how a great cab should perform. I was worried about this cab at first as it is only 55 lbs but after throwing my back out while loading my Mesa 4×12 I was willing to take the "risk". At rehearsal, I simply tasked this cab to do everything I expected from my other cabs and it did? Like I said, I'm used to big heavy cabs and this was a change for me. Highs and mids are very present while lows punch and it has no difficulty with my 5 string bass tuned down a step. It is very loud and powerful. I have not played through my Mesa 4×12 cab since I bought this cab last month. No need. I have everything I need in this 55 lb monster.Billy

I use this with my Fender Super Champ X2 head. It's a good cabinet. The closed back brings a lot of oomph to the low end. The speaker, a G12P-80 (aka the "Seventy-80") is a decent all-purpose speaker. I personally find it sounds a tad bright, but it's versatile and cuts through a band mix well. Some day I might upgrade the speaker to a greenback or Vintage 30. The box is well made and not overly heavy. Despite the picture, there is a carrying strap on top. I've gigged this cab for over a year and it's proven durable and 100% reliable. Fender does not make a cover for this cab, but their Blues Junior cover fits it perfectly.Montana Ax-Man

These little cabs weigh only 29lbs but pack the punch of a cab weighing three times as much. Lots of bottom end with warmth and clarity in the middle. And they handle a whopping 400W! Easy to carry from gig to gig – I play professionally for a living and probably play 300+ dates/year, so the combination of travel convenience and performance is key where my needs are concerned. I just can't say enough good about these NY 121's. I currently own two and drive them (either individually or together on larger gigs) with a Walter Woods amp and use them with both my electric basses and upright basses with great success. and by the way, these little cabs handle the bottom-end thunder of the low "B" from any five-string bass with great ease. I use this as an extension cabinet for my Markbass Mini CMD 121P Combo. It matches perfectly and makes the Markbass sound – just that much louder. Crisp, clear, and with dry mids and plenty of bottom. Great and for getting a modern, hi-fi sound. The cabinet was a little bit heavier than I expected based on its tiny size, but it is by no means a backbreaker. I bought covers for both my combo and cabinet and move them effortlessly on a folding two-wheel cart. I expect the cabinet to be reliable enough for my needs as long as I don't push it too much.JCerio2
I got this cab for my GK MB-500. When you live in NYC, you need to have a super portable and loud enough gear. At first I got a GK MBE210, but it was too bulky and hard to carry around so I got the Mark Bass New York 121and what a surprise! This cab sounds so much better than any cab I ever used (GK and Ampeg). It can handle a great deal of volume and it's loud enough to play with a drummer. It has a lot of low end but also it brings out crystal clear high frequencies. It made my Warwick basses shine like I've never heard them before. As for my Fender American standard P bass, It sounded good, but since the P Bass has a more vintage sound I think it didn't benefit from the cab. So definitely if you use an active bass that has beautiful highs you're going to love the New York 121. The size of the cab is great. it's small enough but still looks good on stage. It looks like it weight less than it really is. My only criticism, is that I wish it was a few pound lighter. But don't get me wrong, at 29 lb. it's very easy to carry around. I highly recommend this bass cab to anyone who gigs and have to carry their gear on subways or any public transportation.

I called Peavey, have been using their equipment for years, PA's , Basses, Bass amps and guitar amps and have always been satisfied. This is the worst sounding bass cabinet I have ever used. When I spoke to them, they said that I am the only one that has complained. i have a 4 x10" TXF cabinet which sounds great and wanted to get 2 sets of 2 x 10" for easier transport.I swapped speakers between the cabinets and the TXF cabinet sounded great with either set, the Headliner 210 sucked with either speaker. I did some internal measurements of the 210's and used speaker cabinet software and the 210's do not meet any specifications for a 2 x 10" speaker cabinet. bought them online and cost too much to return them. sold 1 set of them for a substantial loss and still can't get rid of the other one.Guy
Overall: I played a show recently that had an in house sound system. They had a headliner410 and a peavey tour750 amp. It sounded good but…. I had to go out to the trailer and grab my peavey 210cabinet with a built in tweeter. Im not impressed by cabinets that dont have a horn/tweeter, Im a funk r&b motown bassist. On some songs I have to slap or thump. Together the 2 of them sounded awesome……..Maverick
WOW is the only way to describe this cabinet. I purchased a "scratch & dent" product, let me tell you this cabinet was in almost perfect condition all but for a "REAL SMALL DENT" Played this cabinet for the first time "Live" three days after receiving it and …WOW…paired it with a 1×15 cab and a GK MB500 head and I literally shook the venue to where you could actually feel the vibrations on stage and the dance floor, thinking it was the 1×15 I disconnected it and to my surprise it was the Peavey 4×10 doiing the shaking , again WOW ! Some people in other reviews has giving negative comments for the "Carpet" to me no big deal because it is "A Lot" cheaper to recover the carpet then Tolex when that time comes, so not a big deal for me. I did install a set of removable Fender casters because this cabinet is heavy (75 lbs) and they make it real easy to move in and out of gigs… I also love the fact that I DOES NOT have a horn that suits our style of classic rock that we cover. YES I Highly recommend this cabinet over the more expensive brands, WHY pay three times the amount for the same results !!!!!Doug, bigdog2116

All of the praise and reviews about the 115 are all true! This cab has the lows you would expect from a 15" but amazingly sounds great playing in the high ranges. I am A big fan of at least a lower and an upper bass bi set up. Also I use two 12" or more on top cabs…and, two 4×10 bottoms… i needed a really light weight set up so Mesa Boogie 2×12 top is remarkably lite! And: also a 1×15 bottom for smaller but big punchy bottom…simply said it werx!!! Clean sounding and rivals my old standard 2×12 RS TC ELECTRNONIC bins beautifully , I have got to admit a lot better build quality for travel or? you guys probably could lower price a bit? but don't loose that quality! Way lighter than the Ibanez and Marshall 4×12's I used to own back in the day. I use this with a rack power amp and a multi FX pedal from Zoom. Sounds nothing shy of amazing. Originally purchased while living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, back in 2011. Currently living in Tacoma, Washington. Still using this cab. Still loving it. Amazing clarity, and phenomenal bass definition without getting muddy, even in super low tunings and on 7 string guitars, including with sub-optimal string gauge for said tunings. On a side note, a friend of mine still living in FL uses this same cab after I recommended it to him, and he has a Peavey 6505+, all tube head, and he said his $200USD mexican strat played through that setup with this cab at home sounds better than some fancy Jackson with Seymour Duncans he used to test the amp in store (Guitar Center) with the matching cab from Peavey, and an audio engineer mutual friend has confirmed this. This little speaker puts out a TON of sound for its ridiculously small size. You have to see it to appreciate how small and light (16lbs.!) this thing is. I am using it with a Little Mark II head @250 watts. I've also tried TWO of them with that head, and I then get 500 watts out of the pair. I would HIGHLY recommend this speaker for bass players who hate schemping big, heavy gear, but who still want a great tone. Low end is surprisingly good, and of course, the price was terrific.Nicholas
It sounds ALOT bigger than it looks. A bass cabinet NO LONGER has to be large to sound big. I already played, with just 1 cab, at a small but busy bar. The band quickly worshiped the NEW sound it made. Realistically I was pushing its limit in this crowded bar, so a PAIR of these would rock-the-walls in any but large or outdoor scenerios. A stacked pair is still smaller than ANY cab I've gigged with…. and at 16 lbs each I may be able to transport my gear with less space and weight than ever before. Just got this cab on a trade and it sounds really good with both my Peavey, as well as the ZT lunchbox, serving as head amps respectively. The enclosure is probably not made out of the finest wood but it feels sturdy and it is fairly heavy for its size, at about 32 lb. I really like the white tolex-looks like the EVH 112 and with the same dimensions( although the EVH will cost you three times more). I might try to match other speakers with this cab in the future, but for now I am happy with the stock one.swingordie

Already owned the Genzler BA 15-3 cab, but wanted to add the additional 2x 10 cab to the stack. Compaitively the 15 has the tight lows but the 10 s have the edge on the mids ( as you might expect).
