Purchased this case for my Fender Precision Bass. Mostly, will be kept in my studio, and occasionally on a few short gigs. Case seems sturdy, and I like the compartment size suitable for a strap, cable, etc. Also features a locking latch which is very handy. Decent case for the money. Dimensions are a little off from whats advertised. Lower bout width is around 13-1/4 instead of 13-1/2 so my BC Rich Eagle fits a little snug. Overall, no more than I use it, itll work. Sure beats paying $300 for the actual BC Rich case. Also, if your headpiece sets at a steeper angle, it will put pressure on the headpiece. I think the price of guitar cases are totally inflated and to get one on sale is something one has to do to stretch the dollar. Okay, that being said, this case fits my China made Fender strat Squier to a tee. The eye catching tweed fits the Fender vibe. If you noticed my cons was durability i.e. the cases tweed look is attractive, but you wonder as road gigs pile up if the tweed doesnt start to tear and expose the raw components exterior of the case underneath? If they had lacquered the tweed exterior, the case itself would have a fighting chance to slip and slide into vans and carriage areas with little thought of rips and tears it would acquire in a short time. Again, I dont gig much these days, but if I was looking at a case long term that could withstand the road, this case would questionable unless you "handle with care" when you transport and load and unload your gear.James R
I didn't feel like spending over $200 and waiting until who knows when, for a Gibson Explorer case, so I picked one of these up. For the money, it's a good case. I carry my guitars with me to shows, so they are always in my vehicle, so this case does the job. I will say it feels a tad more sturdy than the Gator version of this case, and it's slightly smaller, which is a good thing given how large an Explorer case has to be. The only improvement I could wish for, is to make it tad smaller still. There's still several inches of room from the headstock to the edge of the case. I purchased this knowing that it wouldn't be a super durable road case but adequate for storage and playing out now and then. In those ways, it met my expectations. The case is made of very thin plywood, but not so flimsy that it can't function as a good light duty case. The hardware appears to be of decent quality and all of the latches lined up well. The lining was neatly applied and actually fairly soft and plush. It is a universal fit case, so I wasn't expecting it to be completely form fitting to my Telecaster. It will move around a bit in the case when you transport it. It could use better neck support, as well. But overall, not bad for the price. Where this product really came up short is with the application of the tweed covering. The tweed was applied over wood chips and small voids in the wood frame. No effort was made in sanding or prepping the wood prior to applying the cover material. This is only cosmetic, but looks really sloppy and substandard. Maybe I just got a rough one. I didn't expect perfection at this price, but I don't think this case ever should have left the factory like this.Pat

Overall: See title. I own two gig bags from World Tour. One is an older model and the other is this one. Both are great. They offer a good bit of protection and they aren't too expensive. The materials feel very durable. Other gig bags cost double this and aren't as good. I highly recommend World Tour gig bags to anyone. Overall: This bag obviously is not the high dollar type of case. However, the material is much better than i had imagined. Relatively thick canvas and solid material. I am especially impressed with the zippers which are very good and give you confidence when opening and closing the bag. It will keep your guitar from sun, rain and water, and relatively light conditions. But this is NOT a protective bag. It is a carry all. It has one pocket to hold your extra stuff that's a pretty good size with two zippers. I would definitely buy another one especially at this price. I purchased this gig bag for a Squier Bullet Telecaster, and the guitar fit perfectly. I love the thickness of the padding and features such as the extra nylon pad on the headstock, so the strings don't rip apart the inside of the gig bag, as it happens with so many other ones. The pockets are nice and roomy, definitely more than enough for me. All handles and straps are high quality and feel sturdy, never makes you feel like they're gonna rip out on you. Zippers feel good, they're big and bulky, definitely high quality! You're getting quite a lot of value for the price this gig bag sells for! Overall: I got this case because I read a review that a Fender Telecaster would fit in it. What that review lacked is that it fits SNUG. I have to press the guitar into the case for it to fit. After some time I'm sure the case will "mold" to my tele but I just thought I should let you all know that before you buy it. I'm a pretty easy going musician but I know some people might be put off by that. The case has a soft interior and it appears to be very cheap but usable. If the insides of this case ever fall out, I'll just super glue it at a later date. Nice for what you pay for.The little storage cubby inside of the case is small. It fits my capo, a set of strings, picks and one lava cable. Bought this case along with a Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster thinking it wouldn’t be as nice as the similar Fender case that is around $80 more but I did think it would at least be a solid, protective case. It is not. Exchanged emails with AMS to authorize an exchange for the SKB case and was made aware exchanges are not allowed on Easy payment options. Makes sense, I just wasn’t aware and I’m sure I’m not the first caught off guard. Opted to return for a refund and was told card on file would be charged around twelve bucks. To return a junky case that has carpet on the interior lifting up, and that also has “tolex” pulling apart on the outside. Lame. Just get the skb, or even better, order the deluxe molded fender case from someone who stocks it and hopefully stands behind the products they sell. I bought this case mainly as a way to keep my acoustic humidified over the winter. So far it's doing a great job at that. My only issue is that the flap to the storage compartment was cut very crooked leaving a pretty sizable gap on one side. Large enough for a Kyser capo to fit through. For a brand like Fender and for this price, I would expect a little better quality control, so I'm taking one star off. It's not enough of a flaw to send back, but it's definitely enough to be disappointing and irritating. Otherwise great case. I would still recommend it.

Sound: It doesn't make any sounds, which is what I really want from a bass case. The bass fits snugly so it doesn't rattle around. These form reviews don't really make sense. Features: The inside is lined with very soft plush. There is also a compartment to store small things behind the neck. Ease of Use: It's a case. The bass fits in it. The only problem I have is that the small ribbon that keeps the lid from flipping out more than 90 degrees always ends up hanging out of the case when it is closed. That's just a minor issue though. Quality: It's a bass case. If it comes to me intact and my bass fits in it then I am happy. It has a nice plush interior also. Value: I found it cheapest at zZounds. It was only cheaper by about $12 but it's still cheaper. Manufacturer Support: I haven't had to deal with the company at all (see above). The Wow Factor: It's as nice an acoustic bass case as I've seen. Overall: It fits my AEB10 perfectly.

Looks good but cheaply made and flimsy. Top of case will not stay opened unless you use some force to slightly stretch the strap but you have to be careful not to over stress it or it may detach on one end. It's adequate. Not really bad. but not really that good. It provides minimal protection like most gig bags but it has some large and very spacious external pockets. Personally I would recommend spending a few more dollars and getting the World Tour Deluxe Gig Bag. The padding is much more substantial and the zippers are of a higher quality. I still give this a 5star rating. For the price it's excellent. It's very comfortable to carry. The latches are easy to use. It's durable, much better constructed than a case that sells for $30 less that I looked at. It fits my 35" string length MTD 5-string with length to spare. Drawbacks: Obviously no concealed compartment inside so everything is visible when you open it at a gig, so a pouch for those private items is useful. (The lid seals the two aux compartments so things don't fly around loose.) I have to rotate the top tuner flat or the tuner rests on the bottom of the case (something to remember and never forget although not really major). "TSA Approved" implies you'd be flying with this thing… not a custom fit case to careful inner packing would need to be considered, right?Steve
I was looking for a case for my Sterling Ray 34 bass. I saw a previous review on here stating that they bought one for their Ray 34, and that it fit perfectly. So I bought it based on that. It fits darn near perfectly. Nice long neck support. 2 rather large storage compartments. Plush (chocolate colored) interior. And the TSA latches are tight and secure. If your looking for a nice, reasonably affordable case to protect your investment. Don't hesitate to give these cases a shot.Bill
Well the measurements were accurate and there was some padding that helped with enough space for my large bass guitar. A B.C. Rich Mockingbird bass ('84) that has a strange and beautiful shape to it. But many cases don't fit it. Some custom cases are hundreds more than this one and I'm thankful that it fits well. A little tight on the lower horn but it fits! I like the two spaces for misc. stuff. The light is a great added feature but haven't really used it yet. But nice to have it for that situation where you will need it. Its sufficiently different on the outside from a similar model so there is no confusion between my 2 basses.leonardo_rhema

I received one of these cases with me Fender American Elite Shawbucker Stratocaster. I've loved the case, no problems and has alot of protection. I decided to buy a "beater" Fender Player Strat that I didn't have to worry as much about as my other premium guitars. It unfortunately does not come with a case. I was a little worried it wouldn't fit the same, but it's perfect. This case can definitely take a beating and protect your precious guitar. This case fit my MIJ Jazzmaster like a dream! I was able to get a discount with Musician's Friend as the previous case I was going to buy was on backorder. This case has far better specs than the SKB case I was going to buy and its well worth the money. Supports the neck properly, and has a nice compartment. The only thing I wish this case had more of was I wish the compartment was big enough to fit extra pickguards. Its a minor gripe and still has plenty of room for tuners, strings, picks, and the trem arm. Bottom Line: If you have a Jazzmaster that you're going to travel with or you want to keep it safe, then this is a must buy!Tim
I WISH they made this case for a Mustang bass. I love this style because it's fits my vintage 1980's Squier Japanese Jazz bass AND modern Fender Precision bass. Fits the instruments like a glove! Large internal pocket for accessories also a win win. I like it so much that I purchased two. Make one for JMJ Mustang bass and I'll gladly purchase it.

I ordered 2 ChromCast Padded Gig Bags for my Telecaster and LesPaul guitars. The build quality of ChromCast products is consistently excellent, made with heavy duty material and zipper. The bottom of the bag has a rubber bumper which adds protection to the instrument. Some other brands don?t have this feature. Inside the bag, the padding is thick enough to absorb shock while the lining material is smooth and soft as silk for your precious guitar. It also has a Velcro strap to hold down the neck. There are also thick lining materials for the headstock and bridge location to protect it from getting torn by the sharp ends of the strings or bridge screws. My kids (ages 9 and 11) got guitars as gifts a year ago. They have been taking beginner guitar lessons for a year now. The guitars originally came with very thin guitar bags with no padding. After a year of taking these guitars to and from lessons, the other bags were tearing apart. So I wanted to get replacement bags for them, but I don't have a lot of knowledge about guitars. So we found these bags and wanted to give them a try. We have had two of these bags for three weeks now and both of my kids LOVE these bags. They are padded, well made bags that have 6 pockets. They have two sets of carry handles and backpack style straps. These bags meet our needs for a beginning guitar player who takes their guitars to lessons each week. Plenty of room for beginner kid sized acoustic guitars and the pockets are great for storing tuners, capos, picks, music and they still have storage pockets that they haven't used yet. Great starter bag, would recommend to anyone getting a beginner going on an acoustic. I bought this bag for a Fender Squire acoustic and it fits perfectly! The padding is good, but you will still need to handle the guitar carefully when in the bag. The straps are nice and the bag its self is well made with great pockets and handles. I would buy a hard case if kids are intendinf on traveling with it. The strap is pretty basic, and is cheaply made but will hold up fine for the introductory period until we decide to upgrade. The Vertigo is about as good as it gets for gigbags. The top load design really give way to protecting the body of the bass. This case provides more protection than any other gigbag Ive used. I make sure I zip it up when not in use, so stuff doesnt get down in to the bottom of the case. With a traditional fully unzippable case, you can open it up and see the whole area, easily cleaning it. With the Vertigo, you have to take a little extra effort to make sure it stays clean. I love how you can just slip the bass in and the neck holder does a great job of keeping it secure. Ill be offering this case as an upgrade on the basses I build. It doesnt have as many pockets as the other hi-end gigbags such as the ProTec Contego, so you have to buy the extra snap on case to carry stuff like effect pedals or a direct box.gregory1041
This is the best bag to date that I own. Scored it at $190 and free shipping! Safe and secure, I added a tsa bag lock which fit great through the zippers. Very spacious front pocket that is great for holding various cables, books or even my wireless. There is a small netted pocket inside of the larger one, but the design is flawed for holding smaller items. It is a weird boomerang shape that allows items to slide down the side. If youre looking for a great, safe, well built bag for holding a strap, cable, tuner and possibly a small collapsible bass stand then this one will get the job done! Superb bass gigbag. Offers excellent protection, while being light and portable. Very well made, quality design and material. Particularly like the "boot", top loading design and hard wearing "sharkskin" exterior. Quite pricey but worth it to protect a prized instrument.
